John Muczynski: My brother goes to the Oaks. I'm very impressed with the staff. It's a great way for my brother to get out of the house. He likes going multiple times per week. The staff is able to support him with the complicated needs that he has. I would definitely recommend the Oaks.

Julie Lewis: Can't get much done through them. Seem to have too many patients per social worker, charge nurse, etc.Personally had a social worker for months only try once per week (5 day work week-8hrs days) attempt to help my parent who is in dire need of help.And I even was told an aide would show up during a certain time, never showed and when I called the charge Rn (the one who told me the hours in which the aide would be there) I never got a call back. My parent will DIE if no one shows up to give insulin, check oxygen and make sure is fed.It's nearly impossible to accomplish anything with this service.

Ellen Rusten: If you need good medical care, don't join this agency. The agency needs better management. The staff are all sweet and want to do a good job but they can't seem to manage to do so. I've had 5 different nurse practitioners in 10 months because the other 4 all got other jobs. Trying to get a colonoscopy scheduled has been the most frustrating thing I've had to do in years because they are terrible at follow through. The social worker who is supposed to help me get dental appointments, etc., is terrible at follow through. They have not been able to provide in home assistance consistently. They take over all responsibility for medical supplies and appointments, yet they have only gotten one of my monthly medical supply orders correct. I have given up trying to get it properly. Their recreational therapy has been terrific and so has been their nutritional advice. Other than that, I can say I haven't been this aggravated in decades. I only hear from the staff in their behavioral therapy and physical therapy departments when they are required by the state to fill out forms. Their transportation is so booked up that I haven't been able to receive a ride from them in 10 months. They need better management.
Tatyana Austin: If you or your loved one require full-time care, you would likely be much better off using the Medicaid Waiver program and taking them to better regional rehab facilities. This organization will actively deny you or your loved one caretaking hours you are due by the state, and will illegally falsify information to do so. If you or your loved one has suffered from this negligence, I would recommend that you review the RAD assessment tool they use to determine the home care hours you and your loved one deserve from the state. You may also want to contact a lawyer specializing in senior care.
James Anthony Davis: My Wife is a patient at Pace and she loves it as do I! The care that they provide/show both onsite at the Facility and in our Home is nothing short of amazing. I am so thankful that they exist.

ashley powell: Just wow, there isn't enough to say about the staff, care or culture of this place. I've seen HVP go above and beyond for participants time after time. The social work & medical team work as a dynamic duo when personalizing care for the seniors of Washtenaw County.
