Allergy & Immunology Associates of Michigan: what do users think?
Lauryn Carroll: We've seen Dr. Leo for our son's nut allergies, and have had a great experience with this practice. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Leo is kind, knowledgeable, and patient- exactly the type of physician you'd want to work with for something as unpredictable and unfamiliar as a food allergy.
Jeanine Terese Gonzalez: We were referred to this practice by our daughter's primary care physician. This team is OUTSTANDING. We got an appointment within 24 hours and Doc was very friendly and efficient. Our daughter was tested for several allergic reactions and was ultimately diagnosed with sensitivity to seasonal changes that trigger her asthma vs. being severely allergic to any one thing. This clarity was VERY helpful for us. We moved from FL to MI and our daughter was on steroids 4x her first winter bc every seasonal change caused her asthma to flair up. Thankfully that concern has been alleviated. Very grateful for this team!
Kelly Gordon: I have had a really great experience here! From Dr. Song to all of the staff I see on a weekly basis when I receive my allergy shots, everyone is fantastic! They've all made everything really easy and simple. Strongly recommend coming here for your allergy-related concerns!
Brendan M: The 250$ new patient fee is ridiculous and never mentioned beforehand. The doctor was friendly but even after hearing my situation told me nothing I did not already know.
Brian Bouma-Quinn: I’ve been getting my allergy shots in the West Office for years. I enjoy the nurses and staff. I would absolutely recommend.
Rebecca Carnahan: Beware of $250 “new patient” fee they don’t tell you about… insurance doesn’t pay for that. Doc was in the room for 5 minutes and just suggested Flonase for being allergic to my dog LOL. The allergy test is $600, this part is annoying but expected…just good info to have. Overall 0/10 would not recommend
Katie Kolokithas: Would not recommend and will not be returning to this office. We began going in for suspected allergy issues for my infant son in January. They scheduled us with Dr. Demore at the East Ann Arbor office. We were treated poorly by the nursing staff via phone and in office visits and my concerns about additional allergens were ignored. They told us that they would not be doing more testing bc he didn’t have an allergy but sent us home with an EPI pen. Provided zero training on how, when to use it or what to do afterwards. Within a week of that appointment my infant son was hospitalized with an anaphylactic allergic reaction. We have since gotten a second opinion and testing was repeated. He has three severe allergies (diagnosed at the new allergist via scratch tests and blood work) and we were given the incorrect dose of EPI pen for the original prescription we supposedly didn’t need. The complete lack of care was distressing and this medication error could have had serious consequences for my infant.
V Lemon: I was very disappointed in how Dr. Leflein treated me after he found out I had no reaction to the scratch tests. He basically blew me off and all but kicked me out of the office. I guess if you're not a candidate for the weekly shots, then he has no time to answer any of your questions. What a shame...went through all of that and paid over $1,000 to be treated like that. I'll never go back there and I will never recommend this practice. :o(
Megan Harmer: I've been going here for years and know the staff by name. Everyone is always very polite and accommodating. The online scheduler to schedule shots is a big time saver. Would definitely recommend any of these doctors if you are in need.
Nathan Nohr: I’ve been late more times than I can admit and they have always accommodated me and been understanding. (Its tough being a college student and driving to get shots). The nurses are all very friendly and they offer cortisol/ zyzol if you need either. They keep it clean and the online scheduler has always worked well for me. Usually I can schedule an appointment day of and get in.
Ashley L: Nurse was very nice. Did not care for dr. Or the fact that I was told one price only to have my insurance billed triple the amount. And now I have to pay it out of pocket.
Eric Phillips: True experts in allergy and immunology med in Ann Arbor area. Have been seeing them with 2 children literally from birth, and Dr Leo helped us address food allergies with our youngest. Nobody else could figure it out, and our son’s life has and will be better for it for the rest of it.Dr. Leo is highly knowledgeable, analytical, pragmatic and systematic. He is also very friendly and warm, and our kids love seeing him. Despite the pressure from insurance companies to squeeze more and more into a shorter and shorter visit time, he is still also able to be appropriately lighthearted and uses humor where helpful. This is especially helpful with kids. Over the years, we have also seen Dr Song and Shankar (assisting with allergies as well as asthma like symptoms), addressed promptly and effectively! Seeing the whole team is always helpful and doesn’t disappoint when you need guidance even though medicine is far from a straight line. We are grateful for their care and expertise. The rest of their team has always been nothing but helpful and friendly.
Andrea Ribick: Wonderful and caring doctors. We love Dr. Song and Dr. Leo. They are amazing and would recommend them to anyone.
S K: This place is a total rip off. Do not recommend. they charge so much for initial visit. Push the patients for followup visit even though it was not allergy related.
Ary: The doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable and helpful but the administrative side of this business is terrible. If you are gonna deal with allergy shots in a weekly basis, please consider other locations before you end up here unless the following points are addressed:1. Allergy shot scheduling: shots are only done 8-4 excluding lunchtime and weekend appointments were removed on all locations. If it is difficult for you to get out of work to take your shot, please avoid using their service.2. Appointment making: You have to call and pray they answer you even if phone says they answer calls 8-4, apparently lunchtime is also NG for them.Honestly I’m reaching the point where I’m calling other doctors to see if I can transfer my allergy shot treatment over to them.
Kat K: Thorough, friendly, and excellent medical office. Thank you!
Jim S: Dr. Shankar was nice during the visit. However the extremely overcharged on the billing initially I was billed $220 for a 15-minute consultation. This was billed as a level 4 visit which requires "significant medical diagnosis" even though I was only there for mild allergies.Practices like these are exactly what are wrong with modern medicine. Complete overcharging is not acceptable in any way. I'm honestly shocked that this practice goes on and doctors who are very intelligent people are more interested in generating revenue then doing what's right as decent human beings.
Kristina Meyer: No changing table available in rest room for child.Office staff's assessment of "they are calling you back soon" is 10 minutes......with zero offer to support privacy needed for mother or baby.
Jay (VGL): Excellent staff and service, quick and easy, just about all you could ask for from this sort of place.

Allergy Specialty Clinic and Food Allergy Clinic at Domino's Farms: what do users think?
Emily Bisco: Would leave 0 stars if I could!!!! Absolutely horrible treatment from the doctor! Doctor dismissed everything I had to say! More focused on my high blood pressure, which was do to the drive there and the way he was treating me!! I sked a simple question and he then proceeded to act like I was looking to get an Eppi pen for the fun of it!! Yeah I want one it sounds like a great time to stab myself? Made up medical issues I don't have to say an Eppi pen would kill me.So yes go to this clinic if you want to be treated like garbage!!!!
olivia C: Let me tell you about this place. I came all the way from North Carolina to see a specialist who deals with a rare disorder I have. The amount of time I had with the doctor and the fellow was remarkable. For me I had to wait 2.5 months to get in for my issue but it was worth it. I had a flight booked for Cleveland Clinic and turned that down to come here! The office staff and nurse were wonderful!
Jennifer Gross: Both my daughter and I have gone here for many years. Dr. McMorris has been wonderful with my daughter and her peanut allergy. I have seen many of the doctors for my allergies and they are all wonderful. Nurses doing the allergy shots are great!
T: I am a kind of person don't leave public review, this is my first google review, so you know how much I feel I have to post it! I got the suggestion of the doctor from my insurance company and then I looked at the doctor's background online and found they are great doctors. However, what disappointed me was the lady at the front desk. I called in today to make an appointment. In the middle of the conversion, she just started talking to another person for something else in the office without notifying me before or after. And since it is my first visit at an allergy clinic, I asked a clarification question to see if I understand the new patient test correctly. And... she literally SHOUTED at me "NOOOO!" ...I was stunned.I understand people experience bad days, she may got angry from something else, but this behavior is just UNPROFESSIONAL!!! and the way she treats me is RUDE! As a patient, I prefer to go to a place not just has good doctors but also has great service! So I DO NOT recommend to go there until they realize and fix this problem!

Dr. Benjamin J. Song, MD: what do users think?
Kelly Gordon: Really positive experience with Dr. Song! He identified the issues causing my symptoms and established a treatment plan based on the options available to me. He's very efficient, and after each appointment with him, I receive a detailed summary of our interaction (what was discussed, what treatment plan was decided on, etc.). I really appreciate his attention to detail. He also has a great support staff and team! He's a solutions-oriented doctor and I really appreciate the effort he and his team put forth to work with me to improve my health!
Anotherwingscup: We have been using this practice (Canton, Novi, Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti) for a very, very long time and always really liked it until recently. At our last two apointments for yearly checkups it took an unusually long time to be seen in the office and in one instance we never even had the doctor come in. More recently, we made an appointment three months in advance, showed up and waited 25 minutes before being told that we couldn't be seen. In addition, calling the office for refills is a HUGE hassle. Have had several times over the years that it took multiple days or weeks to get something called in or to even get a response. This practice seems to be too busy to handle their patient load and provide proper care
Jennifer Flynn: Great bedside manner! Dr. Song does an excellent job explaining everything and really takes his time. You can tell he really cares.
Moe Boutros: Absolutely one of the best doctors I have ever seen! I highly recommend Dr. Song!
Frances Sneed: Office staff and nurse Lisa are great.Dr. Song has been my "go-to" for allergy and immunology problems for quite a number of years..He IS the BEST doctor. He is amazing how he is able to take details of your symptoms, quickly analyze and diagnose. If something isn't immediately resolved, he doesn't give up.Love this doctor!
Louise Leblanc: My youngest saw Dr Song a few years ago. I was so impressed with his thoroughness, taking all the time needed to listen & explain, that last week, both my other adult child & myself saw him for allergy testing. Not only did he listen attentively without rushing, he did thorough testing and discussed the results followed by a mailed detailed letter of the entire appointment, from A to Z. While he is a fast speaker - a sign of intelligence, lol - he doesn't hesitate to reiterate. He exudes kindness and compassion!
Akshay Verma: Nice doctor and staff. Happy to be getting allergy shots through them.
Jacqueline McCurley: After having problems with previous doctor, I switched to Dr. Song. Very professional and very empathetic to my concerns. He is thorough in taking a history and asking about family life. I was completely relaxed with him and his staff. I would recommend Dr. Song and staff to anyone.
Anne McKee: Dr Song listened and explained well. I found it so convenient to be able to have allergy testing and breathing tests done all on the first visit. Dr. Song is friendly, empathetic, a good listener and helped me understand what was going on with my breathing issues.
Dan Paulson: Dr. Song is extremely knowledgable and takes the time needed with his patients. He helped our daughter tremendously.
kathi lear: Dr. Song is very knowledgeable and experienced. He will take whatever time necessary to help and educate you. Highly recommend him!
Cynthia Frederick: I was not impressed by the services. The Dr. talked fast and wouldn't listen to most of the data that I had gathered to help with a diagnosis. A breathing tests was inconclusive b/c my child was too small to adequately complete it and I was charged $100! When I left, the diagnosis was "Everything looks good...maybe the symptoms are psychological." Then I received a $700 bill! I called to inquire about the exorbitant charges and was told "There's nothing we can do...would you like to pay monthly?" I do not recommend this doctor.
