Kuebler Furniture Works, Inc.: what do users think?
Jennifer DeWaele: The KFW team did an excellent job restoring our dining room table- initially a goodwill find! Their communication and attention to detail was stellar, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our finished product.
N. H.: They did a simply beautiful job refinishing and repairing an heirloom maple family dinner table. Impeccable woodworking, and a friendly team. Fair warning: it was not inexpensive, and the time between my initial email inquiry and their reply was very long. But it’s a small shop and it’s harder and harder to find craftspeople who can do work of this care and quality. I have zero regrets and would eagerly work with them again.
Marsha: Don't really know yet . . . Been 3 weeks since I put in information on my project and no return call or bid or any response yet . . . !?Update - heard from someone today informing me of an estimate coming within the week . . . Looking forward to hearing about my project.
suzanne lee: Awesome quality work. Master finishing. True quality workmanship.
Kay Van Orman: Our oak hollow-core interior door was gouged with a recent furniture delievery. A 1" gouge was made in the door. Nancy made a beautiful repair to the door! You can barely detect that a repair was made. The repair is such that I don't think the spot could be detected by someone that did not know where the damage had been done! The staff was personable and friendly. The price was reasonable as well. We would definitely use Kuebler for our wood refinishing or repair needs in the furure!
Vicki Mohrmann: What a beautiful job repairing our dining table and chairs that belonged to my husband's grandparents! The table top had many white rings and other nasty blemishes from around 80 or more years of use. It is once again gleaming without having lost its vintage look.
Sophie Brown: I have to admit I was worried to leave our previous piece of furniture but these guys did a really great job.
Marianne: Fantastic repair and refinish of my 100-year-old maple bed frame. The repair to the sideboard is almost impossible to find, and Nancy helped me choose the stain that was exactly what I wanted for the refinished piece.
Kyle Sheehan: Kuebler refinished a family heirloom rocking horse for my son. They were meticulous in their work and provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend them for furniture restoration.

Plymouth Furniture Refinishing: what do users think?
David Sanabria: We had 6 dining room chairs reconditioned and the workmanship was excellent. Working with Sandy and the crew was good as well I will use them in the future and recommend them to others. David Sanabria 2-11-23
Cynthia Yun: Darren fixed a buffet/server for me that had been pretty damaged during shipping, including a large gouge and crack in the wood on the side of the piece, broken interior shelves. The finished piece is beautiful, can’t see any evidence of the damage. Would definitely recommend PFR. Sandy was also a pleasure to deal with on the phone.
Doug Welko: The guys in the shop are great. NO complaint from a workmanship standpoint. The issue I had is with the ownership. Rude, unprofessional and tried to price gouge me on the estimate. I even received a call from their manager apologizing for how unprofessional the owner is. Apparently this is their reputation and is a common complaint. I had to finish the last steps of my restoration myself.
Regina T. Mitchell: The guy that waited on me was very pleasant
Jacqueline Maicki: Plymouth (sandy and her crew) refinished 5 pcs for us furnithure from the 30's Mahogany. The work Plymouth crew AMAZING. The furniture they refinsihed is gorgeous, amazing, the Mahogany wood is so beautiful. Thank you, Plymouth Furniture RefinishingJim Mackie
Joe Mirch: Our goto refinisher
JoJo Dancer: Fixed a dent in the wood on my chest of drawers. Made it awesome!! Highly recommended.
Connie Toniolo: I am giving them 5 stars because they did an outstanding refinishing job on our mahogany wood front door. They matched the color perfectly to the original stain color and we have a metal grill on door also and that turned out perfect too. Workmanship was great. Sandra Fatt was a gem and so was Jim and Paul.
LunaTech 3D: Quality work always! They have done numerous pieces for us over the years.
Carl Kalitta: Jay is the best!! Their work is better! If you want something restored, go here!

CUT Upholstery: what do users think?
Amy Geltz: Really great working with Rick. He is responsive and does excellent work. He reupholstered 3 chairs for us and they are beautiful. Highly recommend.
Ari Boog: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI had my 6 old 100-year-old dining chairs upholstered. They were a mess, but CUT Upholstery did a great job with the chairs. Always responsive to my phone calls and texts, timely and fair price. Would definitely use him again.
Charlotte Knipp: I had a GREAT experience with Rick at CUT upholstery. I visited a different reupholster shop and they had a three month wait. Rick was able to finish my chair in less than a week. He was less expensive than other reupholster shops I visited and has been working in this profession for over 30 years. I highly recommend CUT upholstery. He is friendly, professional, and very responsive. Thanks!
Sophia Hanifi: Positive:Professionalism,Responsiveness,ValueOur two wing chairs look beautiful! The whole experience was great, just wonderful quality workmanship.
Jim G: Rick, the owner, and upholsterer, did Such an excellent job on our 70ish old ottoman. There was a challenge with the fabric I had chosen and Rick made it look perfect. Even my wife, who had her doubts, said his work was excellent - and my daughter's response to its beautiful transformation was WOW!Lastly, Rick was fast - less than a week.Highly recommended

Foxwood Restorations Co LLC: what do users think?
Sandra Nagy: Had my husband's great-grandmother's table refinished and they did a great job! We had them do a black stain and it turned out awesome. Very nice and very professional.
Carolyn McNulty: Betty was great to work with! This is the second time that I have had tables restored by Foxwood Restorations. The quality of Betty's work is excellent. She carefully covered the tables with clear wrap and helped me lift the furniture into my car. I am extremely pleased with my experience at Foxwood Restorations.
betty thomas: After purchasing (4) unusual chairs, the next task was finding someone to upholster them. After contacting 3 different professionals, Betty was the only person to respond. After viewing the chairs, she was up for the task, and her confidence in the challenge was more than comforting! Finding the appropriate fabric proved to be a challenge, but Betty reached out to her network of professional upholsters, and found the fabric that was needed. From beginning to end, Betty took on the challenge, knocked it out the park, and got the job done! The before and after pictures speak for themselves. If you want the job done, and done right....Betty is the one to get it done! Thank you for all superb work you and your partners did on the chairs!
Giulia Saltini Semerari: We had a great experience with Foxwood Restoration. We had to restore and re-upholster an antique sofa which needed a lot of careful work. I contacted a number of restorers in the area, but Foxwood was by far the most responsive. Betty came in a matter of days to my house to check the sofa, arranged for the pick-up and later delivery, kept me updated on their work, and did a fantastic job. The sofa is beautiful, comfortable, and ready now to whitstand the next decades of life in our house.
Dinu Madau: Critical:ProfessionalismI asked them to give me an estimate for my furniture repair. The cost exceeded $2500 and I needed it for my insurance. They said that they don't do free estimates and charge $150. I don't know how they are still in business. BTW, their estimate was 2x the cost of other professional repair companies that I had recommendations from.
Thomas Peasley: I had two Windsor chairs from prior generations in my family that were over 200 years old. Unfortunately they were in about 6 pieces with loose and broken spindles and I had hoped they could somehow be restored again. I took them to Foxwood Restoration in Brighton, Michigan and was happy that they have the ability to bring these back to life. Thank you Foxwood for an excellent job!
Kim Dooling: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueBetty was very pleasant to work with and did a beautiful job at restoring a bedroom set we inherited from my husbands grandma. I couldn’t be more pleased.
Claire Stevens: Have a piece with shattered antique glass. The owner was very helpful, accepted a glass sample by mail and researched a comparable glass replacement. Ultimately she recommended I try a stained glass professional. I really appreciate the follow through and creative suggestion to keep the integrity of the piece even though it was ultimately not something they could provide. Will definitely come back for other projects.
Kelly Partin: I inherited my grandmother’s grandfather 1940’s grandfather clock. It had some color bleaching on the front. Recently my dogs knocked it over and busted out the glass, did some damage to the wood on the top and busted the back. I received a quote for $1500 and a repair time of 6 months - which did not include replacing the glass. Foxwood did not recommend refinishing but instead used a different technique to correct the coloring. They repaired the wood and replaced the glass. It was less than half of the quote I had received, and they did it in 60 days. The repair looks amazing! My grandmother would be incredibly happy. Thank-you!!
Sandy Dixon: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessRefreshed an old family sewing machine. Looks beautiful and was finished in a timely manner! Highly recommend!
Jeffrey Letherer: Amazing, what quality and craftsmanship. They made my great grandfather's chair look like new!
Catherine Cimeot: So, we paid 1470.00 to had a small cabinet restored. There was was obvious damage but they reassured us it was no problem. We had to refuse pick it up once because old repair wasn’t fix but they painted over it. The patch wasn’t even secured back on to the cabinet. It was just hanging off the bottom of the cabinet. So they fixed that. Called us. Husband went to pick it up. It was wrapped in plastic. He loaded and brought it home. When we unwrapped it we found that the doors weren’t hung straight. The hinges weren’t original. The hardware on the bottom and top doors that latched the doors shut was missing. We called. Owner claimed that there was no hardware in the first place. What?! Now understand this was my husband’s dead grandmothers cabinet. It had sat in my home for 30 years unrestored. I KNOW the latches were there because they stuck and you had to yank on the top doors to open them. There is NOTHING holding the bottom or top doors closed. In closer inspection, there is also paint drips going down the side. I have pictures of you would like to see the shoddy work yourself. They had the cabinet for MONTHS.
Phylis Brandon: I've had several pieces of furniture refinished and reupholstered recently. I am extremely satisfied with the results of everything that was done. I had a little issue with a drawer and Betty came right out to take care of it. Don't hesitate to take your furniture to Foxwood!
April Wyncott: Had 80 year old cedar chest repaired (bottom) & restored. Foxwood did a fabulous job - taking so much care with the piece knowing how much the chest and restoration meant to me. They know what they are doing. Would recommend. Thank you!
Toni Pratt: We had our oak dining room table and 6 chairs refinished in a dark stain. It looks so modern and like new. Very pleased with the service, quote process and delivery !
Sherry Spehar: Very pleased with their work.I sell antiques,so good repairs at a fair price is important. The owner has always been good about getting my items back to me in a timely manner.Plesant and capable company.Highly recommend.
Beth Talbert: We had a children's table and four chairs finished. One chair needed repair and it wasn't to our satisfaction. They fixed it immediately. Also had a family heirloom baby doll crib repaired and finished and it turned out great.
Julie Shivnen: Excellent service, excellent customer service.Came to my home for a quote on restoring an antique hutch that had been my grandmother's; this was my first quote so I wanted to get a few more before making my decision and Foxwood was right on the money. Can't be more pleased with the finished product and top notch service. Her staff is nice and reliable.I highly recommend Foxwood, and definitely will have them restore more antique furniture. No need to get other quotes beforehand. I trust their expertise.
Laura Williams: Highly recommended. Everything exactly as promised. Quick email response.Accurate and fair quote. On time pick up and return (no charge) and theend product was exactly as it should be. Very good experience for me having10 dining chairs reupholstered.
Cathy Poteracki: In early 6/2018 I took my 17 year old solid oak Amish built kitchen table and 4 chairs in for refinishing. It had some scratches, nicks and wear marks along the edges. We wanted to keep it the same color and the legs were fine so only the table top, and seats/backs of the chairs were to be refinished. Estimated time was 10 weeks after which time I started to call/email for status. We finally got them back in early October. The color came out a little lighter and I was fine with it until I saw that the tops of the chair spindles were still the old darker color but the rest was light. We declined the offer to return them for corrections because it had already taken 4 months and we lost confidence that it would be completed timely or correctly. But we were satisfied that the charge for the chairs was waived. The table top looked ok and I was not going to comment on this business. Unfortunately, here we are not quite 8 months later and I have to have my table refinished again. It has multiple water rings and white marks from hot food on plates (not hot plates) placed on the table. This never happened in the previous 17 years of constant use. Clearly, a protective finish as was on before was never done. I would not recommend them for refinishing.
Lex Happinessisyou: DON'T TAKE YOUR FURNITURE HERE!!!!! I would rate them a minus 10. I brought a huge antique mirror, (passed down from my family)from a vanity, to be fastened to a wood frame. The employee offered to help me move it. I couldn't see, as the mirror was too large to see around. I felt her employee shove the mirror, tried to explain I couldn't see, so she would quit pushing against me, instead she took that as I needed her to shove harder & shoved again. I started to her it cracking, she then jumped away from the mirtor & because of those shoves, the mirror broke in half & crashed to the ground. She then said it wasn't her. I was devistated, didn't say anything, I was in shock. The owner refused to even do a thing!!! Nothing!

Restoration Station: what do users think?
David Kennedy: Critical:QualityCan I give it 0 stars? Horrible experience. They said they could repair a broken spindle on my oak chair. Broke in a couple months. They repaired it again, and it broke again. Both times it was in their shop for months. Had to beg them to work on it. Stay away.
Paul Kraase: Last month, I had an antique dresser restored. Pat and his crew did not disappoint! Great, friendly, professional and high-quality work. And they had it complete within three weeks. I will be returning.
M. Jay: Quality work....but its going to take a long time and cost a lot. I got the vibe that this place is more of a hobby for someone than a business.
Renee' Scott: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueHighy recommend Restoration Station! I just picked up a wooden chair that they fixed and you can't even tell that it was ever broken. Very friendly and professional. Bless you boys😊
Raymond LaBeau: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessGreat ,honest work.
scott: Extremely dishonest. I dropped a table off for repair last September. I was quoted a price of 300. Wanting to make sure that it was fixed right, I told him to be sure to do whatever is needed to do it properly. I said that I would spend more if it was necessary. After 4 months, I went to check on it. They hadn't looked at it. Stopped by 2 months later. They still had not looked at it but said it should be done in a couple of weeks. Went to see them in another 2 months. They still had not started it yet, after 8 months. I had hoped that it would be finished and took 600 with me. I asked him why he did all of the orders that came in after me but not my table? He said "Those were refinishings". So?! When we dropped it off they did not say anything about not repairing our table until there were absolutely no other orders. If they had, then I obviously wouldn't have left it. I told him that I would come back and pick up our table. He snickered and said "Okay".
James Brown: Exellent they did Terrific work and in a very timely manner
Klaudia: I bought this MCM Lane cedar chest at an auction. Come to find out, it had mold on the outside, it was scratched, and missing a bottom drawer. It was in bad shape and I knew I couldn't fix it (my experience involves chalk paint, lol.) Anyways, I took it to Patrick. Wow!!! He did an amazing job!! This man has a gift. When I left he said to me, "here's to another 50 years!" Better than new and I love it so much.
Julie Witkowski: Gallagher does great work. He's refinished two antiques for me
S Jean: I took a pie table from my childhood in for refinishing. It was an absolute mess with deep scratches on the table top and caulk on the legs. They did an absolute amazing job restoring it to its natural beauty! they even got it back to me very fast so I could present it as a birthday present for a family member. I would highly recommend!
Rick: Did not disappoint! Agreed on a price and timing. Delivered as promised. No surprises and beautiful work. Thanks Patrick!
Jacob Krogmeier: This place is great. Pat does a wonderful job restoring everything I have taken to him. It all comes out better than new!!!
J Bisciotti: Quality workmanship every time!

Gramco Furniture Restoration: what do users think?
Resa Miller: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Kelly Stanford: I have read many of the past posts with despair. I am disheartening by the comments of some customers that unfortunately have not “Judged a Book by it’s Cover”. Over the past Thirty five years I have enjoyed having so many of my Treasured Antiques restored by the Verhines Family. I have sent numerous customers to Gramco and they have also been nothing but impressed with their service.I am so saddened that the fourth and fifth generation will not be able to continue this wonderful Art of restoring furniture due to a Drunk Driver. Most of all I pray for the Verhines Family and that they continue to heal.Kelly Verhines Stanford(Garrett Verhines)
MaryAnn Kemp: It's been many years since we had my grandma's dining table refinished but I just noticed Graco was still in business. They put plain brass feet on and kept the original claw feet. To this day, it still upsets me every time I look at them!
David B: Having left furniture with Mr Verhines over 3 years ago, and pre-paying for the refinishing all I have to show for it is years of excuses. Run away from this buisness.
Mitch Thompson: I am interested in having a piece of furniture repaired, and another piece refinished. I have tried numerous times to contact this business over the last several months, and have had no luck. I have e-mailed, and called and left messages but have never gotten a reply. Apparently they don't need my business and I will have to look elsewhere.
Stephen Canfield: They did a great job refinishing my specialty item. Highly recommend!!!
