Arcadian Antiques: what do users think?
Molly Smith: Arcadian Antiques is THE place to get your engagement/wedding rings! The whole staff is beyond helpful and show so much care in everything they do. Not to mention, the actual jewelry is stunning and provides so many unique opportunities to ensure you can find a one-of-a-kind piece for the one you love. Rhonda, Linda, and Bailey were all instrumental in helping me pick the perfect vintage engagement ring. They were patient, knowledgeable, and kindly steered me in the right direction for one of the most important and emotional purchases of my life. I felt completely taken care of at Arcadian, so much so that my wife and I returned to pick out both of our wedding bands there. We could not be happier with all of our selections and we look forward to returning to the Arcadian for years to come.Brandon & Molly
Russell Stambaugh: We have been delighted customers for 25 years. A great place for special romantic holiday gifts! Very fine customer service, but they do charge extra for bank cards. Lovely owner and staff. This applies to Caravan in Nichols Arcade and Arcadian II on Main Street a mile south of the central business district.
Helen Wu: They got my earrings fixed without charging me any money. Five star service!
Claire S.: Unique, expertly curated shop. Incredible work restoring my antique ring. This is the place to come for conscientious, expertise workmanship. Amazing antique finds. Warm, expertise staff.
Kari: We didn’t get to go in since it was closed but they had lovely items that we saw from the window display. We will try to come again. We have gone to their other shop which is off of Main Street. Very nice!
nishat tasnim: So pretty!
Beckie Hidy: Beautiful!
Mary Hirt: Have loved going to and shopping at Arcadian Antiques with my family for nearly two decades. I first went with my parents as they shopped, and eventually purchased my own engagement and wedding bands there. The service is impeccable and staff are so friendly. Even though I live out of state now, they still recognize and know me each time I come in.
Saskia Bolger: We cannot say enough about Arcadian Antiques! My husband and I got married in October, and we got my engagement ring, our wedding bands, and several bangles for gifts at Arcadian. All of the pieces are such great quality, and they have an amazing selection. Bailey and Rhonda always answered our millions of questions and are very knowledgeable and helpful. We were also able to get our wedding bands engraved through them, which added a really nice touch. We love that all of our pieces of jewelry have unique stories and some are over 100 years old! The quality is amazing, and we loved working with everyone at Arcadian.
Randal Bentley: A bit pricey.
Helena Boulding: Tons of exquisite and rare vintage and antique jewelry! Take your time looking around when you arrive, this is not a place to rush through, you won't want to miss out on finding that rare piece of treasure 😉 I found mine today, and I couldn't be more happier!! Stunning jewelry ✨
M Michael: Great places with incredibly helpful staff! Took my watch in for a new battery and got it back much sooner than I expected! I will be coming back for any future repairs, re sizing or custom work!
Tiffany Ciavattone: Rhonda did everything she could to make sure I was happy with my resized antique ring. She went above and beyond to fix some flaws with my ring that were not from the work that was done when I had it resized. They have a beautiful store with so many excellent pieces of jewelry. My engagement ring and wedding band both came from the Main Street location and are so beautiful and unique.
Barry Nelipowitz: My newly appointed fiancé Matt and I decided to check out Arcadian Antiques after a spur of the moment (after 7 years) engagement rings! Let me tell you, Rhonda and Bailey were amazing! Supremely helpful, plentiful with advice, and very patient with tryings on/questions to boot! If you’re looking for a local, long standing business in Ann Arbor to patronize this is one of them. They were also incredibly professional and knowledgeable about ring sizing, and expectations for the future of wearing them. Please shop here and check them out! (They also have many other stellar antiques and things aside from rings!)
Jason Du: I broke my necklace last night and was absolutely devastated, however, the lady at Arcadian Antiques was the biggest help ever. Even though it was a weird necklace to fix, everything ended up great and only took around 20 minutes. It looks as good as new!! I’m forever grateful :)
Ronda Lewis: Arcadian Antiques is truly a special place! I have followed them on Instagram for several years and recently saw a beautiful emerald ring that was exactly what I had always wanted. After contacting them through IG, I purchased the ring and they had it sized and then held onto it in their shop until I was able to make my trip from New Mexico to Ann Arbor. I brought my daughter in to the shop to choose a special piece for herself to celebrate her graduation. The family that owns the shop has been so wonderful to deal with and couldn't have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. The shop is a wonder to see with so many beautiful antique jewelery pieces and every other thing you could imagine. This is a shop you must visit when in Ann Arbor! Thank you, Arcadian Antiques, for providing such a beautiful experience for my daughter and I! We are both so thrilled with our beautiful new jewelery pieces.
Kathryn Ponte: The absolute best. I saw a post on Instagram and messaged them through ig- they were prompt and helped me get the ring and necklace of my dreams. Super responsive, friendly, reasonable, and helpful. Will be shopping there again
chelsea Sterling: Owners rude and condescending.
Catherine H: This store is a must visit in Ann Arbor, run by a very kind family who will help you pick out the perfect gift or piece of jewelry. They have a huge selection of jewelry and are always adding interesting new pieces on their website too. Shop small and support Arcadian antiques!
SpinnerPaddlefoot: Superb shopping experience
Emily Jones: This store is amazing. Their specialty is engagement and wedding rings, but they have plenty of other goodies too. My fiancé bought my engagement ring from Arcadian and the owners have been so incredibly helpful and sweet during the whole process. The ladies really care about their customers and will go above and beyond to make sure that everyone is happy. Wonderful store!

Arcadian Antique Boutique: what do users think?
Maris: Had a similar experience as another reviewer. Stood outside a locked door for an uncomfortable amount of time even though I was visible to everyone inside. After an arbitrary amount of time, the door unlocked, I came in, and I felt like I had just wandered into stranger’s home. Wasn’t waited on, so I slipped out. Which wouldn’t have been a big deal if there were prices on things. I’m new to the area, maybe this is just how AA is? Pretty stuff, but I just felt too uncomfortable.
Kayley: A lovely little jewelry shop with a very kind owner. She's knowledgeable and willing to help.
Trooper Long: A little bit of this and that, great gift ideas for the collectors.
Mario Ortega: Very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable price for repairing wife's wedding ring when diamond came out of setting.
Stephanie Glass: We bought a beautiful Art Deco engagement ring from here that was both reasonable in cost and extremely unique! I am a very particular shopper and wanted something different in terms of a ring and Arcadian had such a vast and special collection that we had the ring picked out and purchased within the hour!! Excellent customer service as well!
Emily Djukic: I grew up in Ann Arbor and I’ve walked by the Arcadian in nickels arcade probably over a few hundred times. I moved away in my mid twenties and when my fiancée (then boyfriend) started talking about getting engaged, I knew my ring had to come from the Arcadian. The experience did not disappoint. Even though the shop was busy when we went in, we were still acknowledged and felt comfortable. The store is filled with beautiful pieces of jewelry, glassware, accessories and more that are all historic and unique. We found a beautiful 1920s Art Deco engagement and wedding band set that was very reasonably priced and one of a kind. Because of the fact that we live out of town, the staff made sure they could get my ring sized the next day so that we could share our good news with our families in time for the holidays, they truly went above and beyond our expectations. Bailey was extremely helpful and sweet and patient. I am happy to reccomend the Arcadian to anyone looking for a special gift, no matter the occasion. You’re guaranteed to have a positive experience.
Sam Bears: For a small store this place has a HUGE selection. They truly care about quality and work to make sure that you are making the right decision for you and your family. Example: They were able to give me specific advice on White Gold vs Platinum based on hard vs. soft and my active lifestyle. You can tell these people truly live and breath jewelry and they get so much joy out of sharing their knowledge and beautiful selection.
Art Schupbach: My fiancé had my wedding band made here and it is even better than we ever imagined! We gave their jeweler a rough idea and he hand engraved this to perfection. We have bought several things from this store and they never disappoint. Friendly staff, speedy service especially for a custom ring because we were on a deadline for our wedding. I try to refer anyone I can to this place because they really know what they are doing and everything they have for sale is very high quality.
Katherine Beydler: 5 star products, 2 star repair service. I got my engagement ring here and love it. I brought it in about a year later to be re-shanked, as the back of the band was quite thin. They assured me their jeweler was the best in the business. However, when he performed the re-shanking, he unnecessarily removed and redid a part of the original band engraving, something my jeweler at home, who would have repaired it if I'd had the time, had specifically warned should not be done. The new engraving was much thicker and clumsier than the old engraving and was not even centered on the band. Additionally, he did not stamp the new band for its gold quality, which is required by federal law! The owner offered to have the jeweler fix it, but I didn't really want to give it back to the person who had messed it up in the first place. She would not let me pay for the repair, since I was unhappy, which was nice but unnecessary. Overall, I would 100% recommend this place for vintage engagement rings (or vintage jewelry of any kind) but would NOT use their jeweler to repair your piece.
Ryan Kelsay: High end boutique with very nice items. Very friendly and knowledgeable as well!
Serena J: Such a lovely antique shop. The jewelry selection is gorgeous and well organized. The people are very nice too.
Melissa Gabrielle: Seriously, one of my most favorite places in Ann Arbor. So much fun for the eyes!So worth visiting again, and the jewelry is beautiful!!Rhonda is the best!!
Kirk Dedenbach: There are a look of reviews about the rings and necklaces, but my favorite things at the Arcadian are the antique men's accessories, like cuff links, tie bars, and fountain pens. They have an excellent collection spanning a wide variety of eras, so if you have a particular style in mind, there's a good chance they'll have something. Once thing I suggest is not waiting to buy something you like, as it may not be there when you get back. I missed out on a pair of gorgeous enamel cuff links and an amazing art nouveau crystal inkwell and brass stand set because I didn't snag them right away.
Linda Corlew: Not only is the jewelry selection amazing but the staff are extremely knowledgable, friendly and professional! I had a great experience here finding a wedding ring, but will be back often for their other antiques. Thanks so much for the amazing service and selection!
Amanda Sheffield: The store is beautiful and we were given a lot of info before we purchased. Everyone is very knowledgeable. We have been back many times.
Kathleen O'Connor: We've been married for almost 20 years and ALL my goodies are from Rhonda, Bailey, Linda, Tim, and Madison at either the Arcadian in Nickels Arcade or the Main Street Boutique. Rhonda is expert in picking just the right surprises for me. (My spouse has pretty good taste too!) How do you think we've stayed married so long?! Love love love browsing, asking questions, and trying so hard to narrow it down to the perfect piece.... so refreshing to find ALL good stuff - beautiful, beautifully displayed, stunning sparkle, no junk! And, I'm pretty rough on my jewelry so it's a good thing they have amazing repair services. See you guys soon! xoxoxoxoxoxo
Nicole Lalka: I went into the Nickels Arcade store with a tangled necklace. They took it apart and made it good as new on the spot, completely free of charge. They also gave me advice on how to take care of the chain. Very nice, fast, and knowledgeable service.I was also amazed by the extensive selection of gorgeous jewelry and antiques.
Sonia Urbaniak: Absolutely love this pace from window shopping to buying. I got a wonderful engagement ring (for my almost- 23 wedding anniversary), that was fitted in less than 24h so I could wear it for thanksgiving!Helpful, friendly and tasteful antique jewelry and more!
Michelle Pawlak Keedy: We found Arcadian Antiques while searching for a wedding band to go with my antique engagement ring. Unsatisfied with the local selection, we came up to Ann Arbor to Toledo based on an e-mail from Arcadian that said, in response to whether they had wedding band choices, "tons - come see us." We couldn't have been happier. Not only did we find two bands to go with my ring in one location, at the downtown location, we met with the owner who helped me work out my vision to perfect my engagement ring that I already loved. It took them less than a week to customize my rings! And now, on my finger, I have my perfect ring that I will cherish for the rest of my life! Honest, reasonably priced, quick and creative - I recommend the Arcadian to anyone looking to purchase the perfect piece of jewelry or looking to perfect a piece.
Rob Hess: This store has an incredible selection, great prices and the staff is really knowledgeable and friendly! It's fun just to browse at all of the finery on display, the Ingalls Mall location is especially cool.

Ann Arbor Antiques Market: what do users think?
Dane Peterson: Specific dates only!If you are doing a Google search for an antique market and this location shows up do not just drive here. The Ann Arbor Antiques Market is an event that takes place at the Washtenaw county fairgrounds a couple times a year. It is an amazing event when it does take place because there are multiple vendors who come and bring antiques from all over. I highly recommend it. Look up the dates and then save them in your calendar and get ready to find something special..
Allison Brusher: My amazing Grandmother, Margaret Brusher founded the market. She built it from the ground up! I am happy to see you are striving to continue her legacy as I know times have changed.
Sara Balasa: The people here are very nice and I always find something really cool to bid. I recommend this place to anyone who can stand there ground in a bidding war. But don't be too intimidated, it's really fun!
Phillip Hatfield: Great selection.
Barbara Davies: Used to be great, but has declined over the years. Still good, though.
Kenneth Grzesiak: This show brings out the best antique dealers in the area.
Lynn Rich: Great event
Marcin Glodowski: Good selection of beer.
Connie Norman: My daughter and I loved it!!!
Soci Zen (SociZen): couldn't find it - closed?
Karen Barbu: So so, pretty muddy parking
Lynn worden: One of my favorite shows, we’ve exhibited there for over 35 years. Open one Sunday June, July, August, September, November and December 9-4, check website or Facebook for further information.
Corey Fussell: My wife and I have had some great finds at times and other times have left empty handed.
Theresa Ivan: Better quality this time, fewer vendors
CODY TREAT: Says open online and no one is there. Apparently this no longer exists!!! Very disappointed!!!
Richard Smith: Only the home show was open.
Dustin Carey: Spent $18 to get in wast of time barns were empty only 25 to 35 dealers in and out in 15 min don't wast your time going to this antique show
Carolyn Doss: Nice selection

Salt City Antiques-Depot Town: what do users think?
Colin Mikulec: Very large antiques store focused on mid-century modern furniture, memorabilia, books, decorations, etc.Well organized and friendly staff, the atmosphere feels warm and inviting while you peruse the selections. The selections frequently change, as customers purchase items the proprietors replace the wares with something new.
Rege Sullivan: Great little store, more vintage than antique.
Madelaine Gout: The shop owner is very sweet and has great customer service! The antiques are all super cool too and it's just a nice place to check out. There are a lot of different items like glass ware, furniture, and art to see.
Caitlin Till: Awesome place bursting with beautiful & wonderful things. A must-see if you're in the area.
Katie K: Fantastic vintage shop if you're looking for mid-century modern furniture, barware, and accessories. The shop had two floors so don't forget to go upstairs. They're fairly priced, and the owners are so nice. I find excellent gifts for my family and friends here, not to mention for myself! Follow them on social media to see what they've got!
Treascia Amedee: Amazing atmosphere and also very nice staff. Excellent selections
Destry Hoffard: It's a nice looking shop but the prices are insane and the people who work there are beyond snooty.
Kathy B.: Salt City has a variety of eras, but the focus is on mid-century modern. Lots for that era, nice collection of colored glass, also carries crystal, clothes, books mix of resale items.
Francisco Pérez: Great variety of antique furniture, decorative pieces and glassware Feels like going to a room from a magazine from the 70s-80s. Is a little bit pricy but they have everything in pristine condition. If you are looking for antique pieces, I recommend it.
Jon: Okay don't be intimidated by her loud octaves Carol speaks loud and clear she is a strong woman who stayed open all through the pandemic you guys got to realize she's in her seventies lifting 2 to 300 lb dressers up and down stairs with a dolly and running this whole place by herself if her son isn't around this is like an Ypsilanti Superwoman and once you get past the loud octaves and the get to the point attitude you realize that this is a woman that would give you the code off her back if she seen you needed it great place
Edward Summers: Nice little antique store. Very friendly staff.
Phylicia Reed: A lot of treasures! Great If your looking for some cool items and antiques. Lots of hutches, bars, desks, couches, chairs, lamps, plates and dining. All in all great spot. Kinda pricey but yes
Dave Tiesma: Pretty cool little place. They have the 60's and 70's vibe NAILED.Some items seem a little pricy, mainly the free promotional glasses from different restaurants in the 80's.The owner was super nice though. We took some pictures! Definitely a blast from the past!
Sara R: Affordable for larger furniture pieces and super friendly! Delivered my dining set to Jackson and re-assembled it for me! Will definitely be returning.
Greta Harper: Owners are friendly and great selection
Giselle Stitt: I love this place.
Kurt Anschuetz: This is a fantastic shop
Grace Su Ming: So many antiques in one store! Slightly on the more expensive side of antiques. Super cool items!
Stephanie Keller: They have a few items here but their best stuff is furniture and home sets for entertaining. They have great staff and lots of gems. Their furniture collection is excellent.
Charles Mikkelsen: The ultimate mcm antique shop. Prices can be anything from a bargain to a little pricey but the quality is always there.
Andrew Fallon: They've got all kinds of great stuff and a very helpful staff. You'll walk the whole place a handful of times to see everything, there's so much- and it's all presented in a very attractive way, like a museum almost! If you're interested in the vintage and antique, Salt City is a must-visit.
