Hyundai Asian Market: what do users think?
Allan Engler: Great shop to get some of those harder to find ingredients.
Myung: Great selection of Korean foods. Friendly owner.
Paula Sizemore: A wonderful Korean market with fresh vegan kimchi, at reasonable prices. From fish sauces to cooking, serving items, Hyundai Asian Market is the place. Friendly helpful staff, great selection of items.
Joe Chae: This store is just a mom and pop grocery store. Didn't have what I was looking for.
Judy Echols: This is the nicest Korean market that I have found within an hours drive of my house. They have a good selection.
Loyd Gitari: Great chicken marinating sauce.
JunJun: Here is nice.Kind hosts and various foods and goods.
EKK: A small store for essential korean grocery items
celadonkim: best spot for korean groceries around
Barbara Napier: Tons of Ramen options, Also fresh Kimchi !
Mae Koral: They have great Korean dry stock and frozen ingredients! Limited kitchen supplies and a small health/beauty section. The owners are very nice!
Yoonhyung Regina Chang: Small but they have everything. Compared to the k-market on Packard, this market is much cleaner and nice. They manage fresh products well. That market on Packard used to sell perished beef and tofu. If someone asks me about Korean market in AA, I would recommend Hyundai market.
Josh Keezer: This brought back memories of my time in Korea. The options are genuine products from Korea. I also saw some Japanese items while there.
Sean Mudge: Been shopping here for years. Nice owners!
Robert Ossovicki: Large selection not busy
Pixydust411: They have the best Korean spicy noodles
Bruce Geffen: A great little store for authentic Asian staples and prepared foods.
Gerald Djajaputra: Love coming to Hyundai Asian market for all my Korean food needs. You can literally find everything to cook an awesome Korean meal. Their frozen section is very stocked. The produce section is small but the essentials are there. The meat selection is nothing grand but does the trick. Love buying kimchi here and always a treat to shop in their fridge for Korean side dishes. Somewhat on the expensive side, but worth it.
Elliott Smith: They provide a wide variety of Asian (Korean) food items in a small spaceThey also have a great selection of pre-made kimchee in jars.
Raymond Choate: One of my favorite Korean markets. Best selection I have personally come across.
Sujin Lee: 한국음식 사기에 좋아요 뚝배기도 팔아요 ㅋㅋ 없는 것 없이 왠만한 거 다 팝니다 매실액 아만나 아이스크림 김치 등등…

Way 1 Supermarket: what do users think?
Lori Schmidt: It was okay. Found what I was looking for. Communicating with employees was a little difficult. It all worked out.
Jo Z: don't buy their TOFU in plastic container, those are out of date(but label saying couple weeks due), but after I opened the cover, inside water is sticky, all TOFU soured. This is 3rd time I bought TOFU, never again. Please see other negative posts regarding expired label on food too(my case is date is far away to be expired but food is already rotten). Selling expired food or food rotten with wrong expiration label is bad business.
Qiling Zou: Usually long queue in the checkout counter.
Karen Barbu: Hard to read lables
X. RAO: The location is great, not far from highway. Parking should not be a problem. Decent size of store with variety of Asian food, especially Chinese food (vegetable, rice, drinks, dried food, noodles, meat, bakery, etc.). Quality of products is generally good.Price is generally slightly higher than other great Detroit area Chinese supermarket, understandably with its location next to University of Michigan. One of my main complain is that the restroom is dirty and smelly (shelf area are generally better). And staff is under-staffed both at re-stocking and check out.
Xi He: I’ve bought expired food many times and found it amusing when the salesperson blamed the manufacturer for their mistake. It's the biggest joke I've ever heard! 😅
bob bob: Good selection!
JunJun: Here is nice to visit again again x100.Reasonable prices. Here is absolutely better than one Korean market.
Laura: Rich types and multiple choices, good quality and reasonable prices. Really enjoy shopping in Chinese market.
Chiharu Lau: The peel garlic is labeled $0.99 but they charged me $1.29. The cashier said the system must be correct thus the label must be wrong. The she said she would inform the manager but still charge me $1.29. I am okay with the price but not comfortable seeing one price on the tag and getting charged a different price.
Kat E: This is a large, very typical Asian grocery store. They have a good selection of everything, mostly Chinese Japanese etc. The people who are commenting that this place is 'smelly' are comparing this store to a typical American grocery store. No Asian markets are like that. This place is typical and the selection is on the larger end of the scale so I think it's great!
Budd Frye: We have been going there for years. Great store!
Richard SAT: Compressive selection of Chinese groceries.
김태현: I don’t know why a clerk seems so mad although I just asked about where a sriracha sauce.
Michael Kulpa: Overall cleanliness is mediocre at best. They do have several asian noodles that are hard to find.
Tony Wang: Selling expired food, and extremely rude customer service
Michael Thornton: Great selection, and great staff!
Marc Perroquet: I love this store!
Mark Hanss: Always have plenty of staff around, but only one working the cash register. It should not take 30 minutes to get through a checkout line.
Jared Lee: Can find and get most the Taiwanese ingredients materials
Grace Su Ming: I love this supermarket! So many options. Lots of spices. Fresh produce and meat products!

Galleria Market: what do users think?
Yoonho Kim: Great selection and store is clean and tidy!
Miles McDowall: Very solid selection but you will need to wait 3 minutes for someone to check you out
Trishia Watson: Who’s staying in the area for a concert and visited as it was near our airbnb. Good selection of many Asian tasty products/treats. If we are in the area, we will stop again in the future.
Nikki Bies: * VERY clean and tidy* prices are low for usually expensive international items* prices clearly marked* nice new building with a perfect, smooth parking lot 🙂I find something new each time.(I also use the upside app for an 8% cash rebate here. I also never pay full price for gas or pizza too. referral code: PJHBY)
Jeff Mazur: The store had a lot of great choices and was very clean. The staff was very helpful when I needed a suggestion on a food item. Definitely, will be my place for Asian food.
Lily Lee: This store is sooo clean and spacious!Front fridge has a small area for produce, tofu, and rice cake section. You can find most of all your Korean basics here (some Chinese too). There's varieties of instant ramen, noodles, rice, snacks, sauces... then freezer has nice selection of dumplings, sliced meats (chicken, beef, pork) and seafood (shrimp, squid, octopus, fish, clams, etc) for hot pot, soup, cooking or grill. There's also jars of cubed radish kimchi and nappa cabbage kimchi.Missing...no soju or makgeolli 😢It looks like they scaled back a lot of inventory after the pandemic years. I love to support local businesses... encourage you to stop in! Very nice lady at the register 🙂
Karen Weaver: Fun time exploring!
Keilon Stewart: Good asian market
Giselle Stitt: Found exactly the items I wanted
Monisha Encarnacion: We need more places like this in Michigan. love it here. Pleasant stuff wide selection.
Joggo: Literally has everything Asian-oriented that central Ann Arbor does not.The owners are efficient and nice. It is a little ways from campus though. So if you are a student, consider commuting by bus or car.The owners are very nice and understanding.
Edward Shim: Great selection of Korean groceries, but some items such as the meat are overpriced
VOID: Never been here actually but I'm reviewing it for points
sujana ranjit: Place for my dumpling wrappers and seefood of various kinds. Also the best place for sauce and spices.
Dr. Tom Waltz: Well organized store with great variety. Staff were also incredibly helpful in helping me locate ingredients for a new (to me) recipe.
geck la geck: Clean and organized, while their fresh produce is nowhere is good as hmart, this has become my go to spot to buy Korean ingredients!
candy jones: Very informative about their products, because I needed information.
Andy Nguyen-Phan: Great service and gave informative information before making our rice cooker purchase. Love going here!
Derek Jones: This place has a wide array of products that you can not find in your traditional grocery store. Love to come here and grab items for dinner.
Paolo Ryung: Very nice people up front and very nice structure with every essential! 10/10 would recommend.
Kathleen Koprowicz: Always a great selection of things

Kanbu Asian Mart: what do users think?
Abigail Cole: Love this place!
Scott TenBrink: Big gluten free menu!
dori: lots of good choices to choose from! wish mi goreng or samyang carbonara was there! the lip products i bought were a bit overpriced so i spent 30 dollars more (they were $10 each) than I expected during my trip..edit: carbonara is there now yipeeee. i really love going here only downfall is the prices but ye that's what you get with imported goods i guess (i might just be cheap LOL)
Maria Irimie: I love this place! I really like the selection of options they have. for such a small spot it's incredible how much you can get. The woman who runs it is lovely too. It's so nice to be able to go there any time I need something
Anita Flynn: Food was amazing, and the service matched it. We asked about the leaves that were placed for decoration, and whether or not they were edible. Turns out they are, and they are quite tasty. They are called Oba, and the sushi chef came out and told us all about them, and even gave us a small portion to take with us. Awesome find!
Angelica Tome: Will I find coconut jelly here? I've been looking everywhere for it!
Chicken93: Small but have everything you need from an Asian grocery store. Get that big bottle of fish sauce!
Lindsey Lincoln: Small and delightful market! Stop in forstaple groceries and tasty treats!
Sunny Baek: Small but I can find everything I need in Asian Market !!! With Very reasonable price, too. You will not regret to go there. ^^
Heddy M: Great location and prices! Convenient if you're near campus without a car.

Hua Xing Asia Market: what do users think?
Melissa Duvall: Large selection of Asian foods prices are good.
Neen Thomas: You've got to check this place out! Nom nom!
Rafael Figueroa: They have alot of yummy foods and stuff. !!!
Andrew Fribley: Best place in 3 counties for Asian cuisine ingredients. Prices beat the pants off the competition. Produce is fantastic. Noodle selection can't be beat.
Joseph Sakal: Good variety and prices
XQ Z: Good variety of products available. Cashiers are nice. Found bunch of produce that’s no where to find in Kroger. Nice place to shop.
Autumn S: Enormous selection, good prices.
Grumpy Dragon: Perfectly splendid
Roundhat Rover: This store have more Indonesian stuffs! You can find the instant seasoning (yes, they have Rendang), mie Atom, Kecap ABC, Syrup Marjan, Indomie, etc
Kyle Keener: Great Asian market and great prices
John Mckinzie: Excellent market, the noodle choices outstanding.
Jameel Mustafa: Great tea selection! Didn't have smoked oysters though. So many things to buy, try to grab you a food guide in one of the isles! That's what I do, someone will always recommend something delicious to try!
Mike: Place is looking run down, smells bad, discarded boxes and un-used equipment just piled up in the corner. Staff is as dull as a bar of soap. Go to the Asian stores in Madison Heights which are much cleaner and better run.
Shawn Thomas: So many things to find here. I love browsing and trying new things. Use your camera translation app!Update;Still the best around. Unmatched ramen selection, all sorts of different Asian goods from all parts, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, Thai. I've found it all!
sujana ranjit: Doesn't have choices and miss items that I personally like.
Marie Barksdale: A lot of things aren’t in English and it can be overwhelming If it’s your first time there or you don’t know what things are. But they have the best selection and pricing for Asian food in the area.I love this place. My advice is to really make a day of going the first time so you can spend your time really checking out what’s there.I will admit that people are right about it having some overpowering smells that kind of very throughout the store. But a lot of that is just the smell of the food, so it’s really what should be expected. That said it’s not what a lot of us are used to so it’s good to have that in mind going into things.I also noticed that people have mentioned the staff not being super helpful when you have questions. I figured this was just a language barrier, but I think I might not entirely be the case. I honestly think all the reviews here are accurate, more than one thing can be true. But that doesn’t actually take away from my personal rating.
Guillaume Coussement: Many Asian countries are represented here through their foods, if you are like me, you might need some help. The staff will oblige. Love it, decent prices as well...
A: It's the only place I Ever wear a mask- with peppermint essential oil so I don't smell the store. There's a terrible strong smell and I wish they'd clean it up. That said, they have "everything", huge selection, plus some affordable kitchen , dining, and culinary wares, and also a sort of natural pharmacy of liniments and potions for health issues. The prices are good. I'd give 5 stars if it were cleaner and there was accessible customer service (there kinda isn't)
Mike McDowell: Great Asian market in Ypsilanti
Kim M. Hoppe: Smells

Tsai Grocery: what do users think?
Maggie Martin: LOVE this place! The owner is a sweet lady who knows how to make anything, just ask her and she will show you all the ingredients!
Maurielle C: Cute little Asian store. I like the products they carry. I will say i couldn’t find a cashier for about 4-5 minutes and there were no employees in sight for the majority of the time I was shopping, but I wasn’t in a rush so it was fine. The quality of products was good & id recommended stopping by if you want their food.
Orion: Had rice noodles and fresh bok choy. All I needed for under 20$
Eric McGlohon: Excellent little place to get all of the difficult to find items.
Some Guy: Not much here. Walked in and felt like a scene where people looted at the start of a zombie apocalypse.
Shane Daniel: This store has everything 💕
Chris Minick: They have EVERYTHING
Lisa Zhang: They sell expired foods. And some foods have neither the date of manufacture and the date of expiration. I went back to change the expired products. But one of the products on the shelf all expired. I had to pick a different product. The cashier did a poor calculation and didn’t reimburse the right amount of money.
Colin Gregory: Great little Asian store. They have many of the items that remind me of my travels abroad.
Peter Green: Surprisingly well stocked asian grocery with lots of japanese items.
G L: I like this store but lots of items have no prices on items which is against the “Michigan Scanner Law”Update: was there again and this time they didn’t give me a receipt. She actually never rang up the transaction on the registers
Paula Harden: Love shopping for our foods for sushi there! Very helpful!
Dog Lady: Clean, Fair prices, large selection.
Tj h: Great selection. Clean. Reasonably priced.
Huan Li: Great place for Japanese snack and drinks, it’s even better than one world market in Novi in those two regions. Great variety and place is pretty clean! I find many things that’s not easy to get even in Asian markets. The only thing is that they don’t seem to have a lot meat products, but I wouldn’t even call that a flaw.
Shyela Pecorelli: Nice owners... love this place
carol sims: Small store but I can always find what I'm looking for there.
Thomas Boylan: Very great place
Dorothy Li: I come here for the Asian veggies. It is hit or miss. Sometimes their freezer food is freezer burn so you never know if you are going to get what you want or something melted and deformed. They try to keep it clean but it looks pretty typical of a Chinese store, worn and a bit chaotic. It is still a cut above many other Chinese stores that are filthy and stink. This one is swept clean and doesn't have rotten food stinking up the store. They are fast with checking out. They also tend to sell expired food frequently so if you are obsessed with not expired food, check the dates carefully. And no, they don't discount expired food.
Rob's Hobbys: Best Asian market in town. Period.

Alexis Amor: This is probably the most organized and cleanest Asian market I've been to in this area. And there isn't any strong smell inside, as most Asian stores have. I like their selections of products and goods. They're a bit pricier than other Asian stores I've gone too though. I've compared prices and theirs are probably at least a few dollars more.
Alan Terlep: I wanted to make a couple Thai recipes. They had everything I needed and also took a lot of time to help me find it without bent condescending. Great experience.
Patrick Kelly: I absolutely love this place
Mario Hazza: Good Chinese Supermarket
Shiva Bongu: Very clean and prices were reasonable. This store is the best to find Asian spices and groceries, mostly Chinese and Thai. The staff are polite and helpful. Kinda small store but you should be able to find most of the stuff. Abundance of parking.
elizabeth mcintyre: Wow! What a great little market.Super clean, well labeled, and very helpful staff.
