As a member of their 5 Star program, they spray on a regular cadence from spring through fall and it does a great job of controlling pests (we have a lot of spiders around our eaves). evan wink: 1st time, I've ever complained about a company. Very unethical, negligent/illegal, and incredibly unprofessional. This company left traps out over 24 hours, after catching small animals. I had to have a DNR agent come to handle it properly! Luckly DNR did come quickly becuase the animals were weak. I called Critter control hours ahead of the 24 hour time period. The woman was aggressive and rude on the phone, then hung up on me. Then the woman left a nasty voicemail 5min later(that is saved) insisting it wasn't their company. When they finally came to pick up traps 30 hours later. I confirmed it was there company and the laws they are breaking, only to be promptly hung up on. Another wildlife removal company was brought in to do the job properly and seal the many points of entry discovered. CC's technician did not listen. Very frustrating. Brian McKenna: I was hearing noise in the attic which increased when a neighbor cut down some trees in their yard. I called, left a voice message and was contacted the next morning. They set up an appointment for the next day. Tech called ahead and was able to come out earlier then expected. He set up his gear, that night a raccoon was caught and it looked like another got out of the attic next to the trap. He reset things and we will see what happens.At this point I am very happy with the service and the technician. Everything has gone as he said it would. Victoria Bigelow: Very poor communication and no manners. CC set two traps near my condo in order to catch a groundhog that was burrowing under the building and trying its best to create an exit behind the trim in my master bathroom. The groundhog was caught in the trap, but was released by my neighbor who does not believe in catch and relocate. Weeks went by; the traps were reset multiple times, and we finally caught an opossum. However, the opossum disappeared and I observed that both traps had been sprung. Thinking it was the neighbor again, I reset the traps. I caught the groundhog. I tried calling CC, but they were closed for the weekend. I bought the groundhog a rabbit water bottle and attached it to the cage. I fed it kale and other groundhog delicacies through the mesh all weekend. Finally, we reached CC on Monday. They came out and got the groundhog. Feeling badly about the whole thing, I called CC on Tuesday to see where they had released the groundhog and if it had seemed okay. The lady who answered was incredibly nasty. She told me my questions were "irrelevant." She couldn't tell me whether the creature was okay; whether they had let it go somewhere or if they had killed it. If the former, she couldn't tell me where they had let it go. She demanded to know why I needed to know that. I couldn't believe how nasty she was. I told her I had taken care of it all weekend and had seen how scared it was. Knowing it had been let go away from people in a decent environment would have made me feel better. Nope. No empathy at all. She added insult to injury by telling me that they had released the opossum and a chipmunk on site from the traps and were supposed to have left a note. The technicians were also supposed to have left a note saying they had sprung the traps for the weekend. They left NO communication. RUDE.Service:General wildlife removal

Kenneth Nisbet: I paid $199 to have a trap set for an outside groundhog. One Friday they said to close the trap for a 9 days because the technician was going on vacation. Went to shut the trap at 5:05pm and saw the animal. Critter Control would not send anyone out to get the animal and asked me to release it. We were not pleased!. They took the traps away 5 days later, never catching the animal. I spoke to owner Scott and he was not helpful. Other companies like Creature Control DO NOT close for the weekend and would have come for the animal in a similar situation. I would NOT recommend Critter Control.Service:General wildlife removal

A technician came out and looked around the house and then sent me an estimate for $1100 in repairs.When I asked for the results of the inspection, they only could provide the estimate of $1100. They have been extremely professional and we have seen great results. The tech that has been servicing my home, Scott, really does a great job! The gentleman asked a few questions and then assumed they were mice and threw some mouse bait in the attic. The mouse bait has not been touched and the squirrels continue to terrorize us. The Technician never even looked for droppings or investigated the attic whatsoever before throwing the mouse bait in the attic and leaving. He was in our home a total of about 15 minutes. I then called the office to inform them I have squirrel droppings as proof that it is a squirrel infestation and she put me on hold, then hung up and it is now after business hours, so the number just goes directly to voicemail. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

pluevo: Don't use this company. I used them last year and never would again. Terrible "we don't need your business" attitude. The technician also lied to me that if nothing was caught I could get my money back -- I actually didn't care about cost but being lied to is a huge red flag about integrity. I also have doubts about how humane they are. They leave it up to you to check the traps and wait far too long to show up to retrieve an animal. I even wonder about the fate of the animals they take. I am posting this now because I need this type of service again and would rather catch critters with my bare hands than consider this company

Peter VanBeck: Avoid this business. The manager Scott was extremely rude and unethical. He said, “I’m taking away your guarantee,” called me “ a liar,” and said “don’t ever call here again.” After spending over $1100 with the intent of getting rid of the squirrels in my attic, they did not fix the problem at all until nearly three months later. I had to keep calling them before they finally came back out. Then they charged me an additional $510 on my credit card on file without authorization, without even sending me the invoice. When I spoke to Scott about it, he gave no apology for this legal violation, just accusations and name calling. I do not remember dealing with a business managers so rude before. Most business managers are really polite and want to work things out.
