Rudolf Steiner High School: what do users think?
Eileen Ho 何愛玲 (she/her): A beautiful high school for its teachers and staff, students and families, expanded campus facilities, and connection to the Lower School, providing an integrated learning experience based on Waldorf education.
Nivek Namwen: This school is amazing in so many ways. Literally a college level education in high school.
Annies Gotagun: I love the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor! I feel that my child is getting a great education. The teachers are very proactive when addressing issues.

Huron High School: what do users think?
zeldy trashforce: This is the best school in the entire land. Huron's wings are much better than Skyline's and you only have to wait 5 minutes for them. Take that, Skyline!
Henry Zhou: This review has been edited to reflect the recent removal of a teacher in the English department.t̶h̶r̶e̶e̶ two stars, since Huron is the 3rd best public school in Ann Arbor according to US news, [but also hosted a potential child predator as a teacher, thus reducing the star count by one.]Now to the meat of the review. The football team gets a lot of funding, despite not having won a single game my whole high school career here. In fact, a top quarter back had to transfer out of Huron, since our O Line was so bad. He is now going to Virginia Tech, a top football school, and is on the team there. Although it's cool to brag about how cool your team looks, since football often is the biggest sport at a school, if you can't back it up with real play, it's completely useless. Some sports, such as tennis, are consistely top 3 in the whole state. In the past 7 years, Huron has won an astounding 4 state titles, yet the courts are about as bad as they can get. In fact, a member of varsity tennis even likened playing home games to guerilla warfare tactics the Viet Cong army used in the Vietnam war. The courts are a very unfamiliar territory to any person who steps foot on the courts due the countless cracks and divots, which are actually a real safety hazard. In fact, now that I think about it, the courts might actually be worse than a Vietnamese Jungle. It really is a shame to have a such a good tennis team, yet such bad courts. Now onto the teachers. It's basically what you can expect. A handfull of really good ones, mixed in with some decent ones, and some bad ones. Not gonna name any names here. [and a handful (actually so far, a single) teacher who is an alleged child predator]Finally, onto the principal. They essentially rule Huron with an iron fist, a totalitarian state, a dictatorship. Want to appeal your NHS rejection? Want to suggest a change to the curriculum? They'll set up a meeting with you alright, but the moment you step into their office, they'll just give you a big middle finger, and not even let you explain your reasoning. They play the judge, jury and executioner, and the student is always guilty. It really pains and angers me to see all the brilliant young minds not get a chance to have their voice be heard.I mean at least our bio teacher isn't a child predator, amirite? [real unfort cuz our English teacher is.]
P&B Sindone: We have had such a great experience at Huron and Ann Arbor Public Schools as a whole. From staff support to academic goals for our children. Students have more options for getting an academic challenge. An increasing number of American high schools offer the International Baccalaureate program like Huron. It offers a rigorous set of courses, and is internationally recognized. Only 830 schools in the U.S. offer the IB program, and 4,000 in close to 150 countries. Unlike AP courses, IB takes a more holistic approach with critical thinking and out of class requirements. It has students look at an issue over time and see how it has impact over parts of the world and how there is that connectivity to it all. It really gets children ready for the world. Also more college credit can be given for IB courses. I am glad my children are challenged in all subject areas at Huron. Also what’s greater than going to school right next to U of M?!
Lin L: worst school
C K: Good school
Jasmine H: campus crusade for Christ alpha omega was a great group back in 03
Cedric Sano: You are. bad
Tyrillium: Deez nuts
Aaron Graf: Let me just say that when you have a teacher, someone who is there and being paid to educate students, look you in the face and tell you that if you don't know something they can't help you. There is something seriously wrong with that. To be added to the fact is that the administration and those of the like in the office continue to let this go on despite having this brought to their attention. My experience with this school was moderately unpleasant. However, There were notable exceptions to the nonsense that went on (e.g. Mrs Wilkinson, Mrs, Miller-Wright, Mrs Krausse, Dr. Ingram.)
Marc Hamady: I had a good experience here (could be better, but it's all good). Go River Rats!!!
Allie Cell: There are tons of extracurriculars supported by a generally accepting student body. There are many classes offered, including lots of AP or AC level classes, which feature good and sometimes great teachers.
