Bernie's Marine Sales & Services: what do users think?
G A: Have never had a problem that I couldn't sort out with the help of the folks over at Bernie's.Whether its pulling out the ole mercury slides to figure out what parts I need for an older motor (and then ordering it for same week pickup) to letting me know what the common problems are for each of the motors I've owned and how to avoid them, the difference has been in the service.Pricing has always been great to good, and product availability is next to none (if they can find it, they can get it for you).
Greg A: Can't say enough good things about the knowledge, quality of service and experiences that I have had at Bernie's. I have worked on a 1983 Mercury outboard over the years, gotten parts for a 2004 Optimax, a 2005 Yamaha HPDI, gotten solid advice and supplies for all of the motors and always with a smile and the best intentions!Five stars aren't enough!
Brad Seelinger: First time going to Bernies. I was a little skeptical pulling in and walking around the shop. Appearance, cleanliness and organization are not at the top of their priority chart. But don't let that fool you!- Wonderful people- Good communication- Fair prices- Overall great service! Not only would I recommend, I will use them again in the future.
Henry Edwads: Love this place and the staff
Michael Burnett: From the initial phone call I knew we were in great hands.
Robert Buckwheat: Great place they have most everything you need the lady's are very helpful
Tiffany Martin: Tina is very sweet and knowledgeable.
Nathaniel Williams: I love this shop. Great people that are very fair.
Hawgs Autoworks: Great folks
Nikk Niff: Called today because I need a boat motor serviced but then go to tell me I can't get it looked at until next month. Seems like you can't rely on local marinas to get anything done until winter then..
steven meyer: Very knowledgeable decently priced
Steve Tabaka: I am a new boat owner with lots of questions. Tina is awesome! So much boat knowledge to share!
Syed Rizvi: Hi, I just bought my first boat and I had to store somewhere, I find this place thru google. When I was reading reviews, after reading them some of them, it makes me little worry. So far those reviews came out to be wrong. I talk to Tina, she is really nice and very helpful. So far my experience is very good. Unless otherwise i will see. One thing I agree with some reviews that this place needs some TLC. LoL.
Carson Parzynski: Ive been going to bernies this summer. Ive spent about 200$ on misc things. I ended up ordering a carburetor which she told me would be in 1 /2 weeks at the latest. Ended up not coming in for more like 6 weeks!. I obviously no longer needed the part by then. I put a 100$ deposit down. She only gave me 60$ of my deposit back and lied to me staying it costs them 40$ to ship it back. Ill never go to bernies again. They could care a less about customer service. The females there are fake as hell. Ill never go back!
Benjamin Ross: Awesome place, just wish I lived closer.
John Wotring: Know their boats .
D C: I have purchased paint a couple of times. The sales person has been helpful & friendly.
David Hoerl: I was told to call here from a guy I work with who has always had good service there. The girl who answered the phone was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain a few options to solve the issue I was having.
Detroit Wrecker: Always a pleasure! I see Tina a few times a year. She REALLY knows her business!
Qqiwin: Super helpful cashier lady sadly i forget the name but would definitely recommend this place if you need any help with your boat
Bill Daugherty: Good service

Wonderland Marine West: what do users think?
Pamela Karshnock: Took our pontoon in as had been stored a couple years, to get a tune up, gas fill, and make sure cables working. Took it in February, was told a critter nest was in it, take it home and don't bring it back until April. Brought it back in april.. 1st week of May called to check. And they said service is closed until they get boats out of storage, but will be back up 3rd week of May and ours would be first. Called today, and service still closed and they have NO IDEA WHEN THE MANAGEMENT WILL LET THEM WORK ON BOATS AGAIN but did not say to come get it. We will not have for memorial. We are taking it to WILSON MARINE, THEY WILL HAVE IT NACK IN A WEEK. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT HERE FOR SERVICE!!!! They don't do service anymore, but won't say it, just let you wait until you are out of patience. No calls to let us know. Terrible customer service. Manager won't talk to you or answer messages
Denise Hughes: Having trouble getting my refund back, been 3 weeks already. Getting the complete run around.
Tricia Bailey: Having a really difficult time dealing with this company. We dropped it off due to fuel issues and asked it to be repaired and stored last fall. Thry stated the boat had no issues and they would store it and check it in the spring. Two weeks ago we were told our boat was ready and fine, no issues, and they just needed two weeks to deliver it. That was yesterday and it wasn't delivered. No call. No show. We called to check on it and one store didn't tell theater store we wanted the boat. So they didn't check it as they said, no one tested it. No one ran it. So they tried to "pull it out of the bar"today. They pulled it out of the barn and stated the batteries are dead and they didn't disconnect them and they didn't run a charger. I don't believe they ever even checked it last year and they are charging fees for services not performed. They didn't use proper storing methods and no one knows why they keep telling us service was done when it clearly never was. So now we can pick up the boat but it doesn't run or pay them to replace the batteries. Completely irresponsible. If I wanted my boat to sit outside and rot all winter, I could have left it in my driveway and saved $1000.
Dan Feeney: Bought a outboard motor from Wonderland. Great service... From the sales guys to the service dept it was fantastic. It was worth the 45 minute drive. Thanks to the staff for very fast service.
Diane Gee: 5 STAR EXCELLENCE!2nd time renting a pontoon here and it was an out of the park experience again! They have a new fleet of immaculate boats, and the price is worth every penny. The staff was super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They go over the boat with you and make sure you have no questions left unanswered. Our pontoon ran like well tuned powerhouse. The chain is again accessible under the new bridge by the State Launch eliminating the need to negotiate the long narrow canal. We made Zukey Lake and back to Portage in no time; although I suggest only seasoned boaters try that long of a journey on a busy weekend - but there is no need, Portage is a lovely lake, with all you need right there and lovely sights!Later? When I thought I lost my glasses the owner immediately sent his wonderful guys out to check hours after we were home. LOVE this place! 3
Tim Iovan: Very nice people that work there.....filled up and forgot my credit card/money.....they said,, no problem, went back to my lakehouse and brought back monies and gave the boys a nice tip for the fill up......
Earl Stewart: Rented a pontoon for the day. Beautiful boat, quick check in, informative boat and navigation instructions. Birthday day cruise for 7 family members. A Good time was had by all.
amber calo: Great service. Friendly
Gary Trowbridge: Staff was great! Had a lot of fun on the lake for the day! Definitely plan on renting from them again! But killing me with this light anchors. Get some with Heft! Definitely will be back. Everyone was super nice and informative.
Luc Tassin: Their staff was extremely helpful even though they didn't work on my brand of motors there, and they offered some suggestions on the issue as well as where else to take it!
Alek K: Honest and attentive.
Ian Hay: They had my boat in and out of the repair shop in two days. Carb repair. Boat is running great now. Very happy with the service.
Joe O'Connell: We bought our new Avalon from Gary, and couldn't be happier with the service that we received. Gary was great from the start, and had a low-pressure approach. We also worked with Ralph to wrap up titling and some other details. He was, and continues to be, nothing short of amazing. This is the place to go - can't recommend them highly enough!
Willy Penn: Rented a boat here, all went well.
Serenity Babcock: The staff is so helpful and polite!
dillon kelly: Company and employees are the meanest people ever do have such a good job around happy people these guys are horrible they will s am you for money for a already damaged boat
Phillip Morris: Company and employees are rude to the max they did not go through a walk through with our boat they gave us a map and showed us a map but they are trying to scam us out of a repair for a boat for damage that never happened
Amanda Maldonado: Horrible experience they yelled at us from the beginning with parking they threatened us ..employees are horrible and treat customers horrible from start to finish horrible horrible scam scam scam people are a scam for money
Saman Kafaei: I was very pleased with their service. The Pontoon we got was extremely clean and great time. Nick was very professional and great person. I would recommend Wonderland to anyone I have done a lot of boat rental in Michigan and other states wonderland by far better than all.
Brian “I'm BAK” K: Not a whole lot of help! Couldn't be bothered to look up a part i needed.
Adam Rasor: Great boats to rent!

Mutiny Marine Of South Lyon: what do users think?
Michael Lincoln: I haven't had a lot of big stuff done by these guys. But i've done winterizations and commissions and they do good quick work. Some things they do that are becoming rare include; they answer their phone, they are not crazy picky about when you bring your boat in, prices are super fair so far, and they don't act like they are doing you a favor. Super refreshing service.Services:Oil change,Tune-ups,Battery inspection/service
Kevin Prescott: Great Experience -- Derrick and team replace an engine, upgraded my pontoon with hydraulic steering and detailed the pontoons -- on-time and on budget as promised. I would highly recommend Mutiny!Service:General installation
Robert rice: Thanks to Alex and the crew at Munity Marine. Brought my Mini Kota trolling motor in for repair. They got the repair covered under warranty. Great service as always.
Mike Lund: Sad to have to write this review. After several years of good experiences, mostly just winterization of my small boat and outboard motor, I can no longer recommend this establishment. 25HP outboard winterized last season, this spring ran rough first time out. After consultation with Mutiny, it was recommended the spark plugs be changed. I attempted this myself (my mistake) and managed to cross thread two of them. Took it to Munity to get it done right. After several weeks (not the issue) was told they were irreparable. Needed a new head and gasket, new spark plugs, estimate $2,200. That was not in my budget so I asked if they would make me an offer for the motor as is, maybe I would downsize and find a cheaper way. This is a 2012 Mercury 25HP, Four Stroke EFI, tiller. They offered $500, which is insulting. Still not the issue. They say if you do a good job, you'll tell three people, if you do a bad job you'll tell 10. On the 2nd person, they said "why don't you just put in a heli-coil?" Enlisted a neighbor with better hand-eye coordination and fixed both spark plugs for less than $10. Insult to injury, didn't even need the heli-coil, just needed to re-tap the threads with the correct size tap and replace one of the spark plugs. I ran it several times this summer, it purrs like a kitten. Very disappointed with Mutiny Marine and bummed that I have to punish myself by driving all the way to Brighton to buy overpriced items at Wilson and winterize it myself this year.Edit in response. I appreciate that you have taken the time to respond, as a result I have added one star. Can't do more than that though, because your response is lacking. You did not clearly communicate that your hands were tied as to the repair options available. We went directly to needing a new head without any other solutions presented. I did not have to drill anything, I did not have to install a heli-coil. All I did was run a tap and clean up the threads. As I stated, the offer of $500 was not the issue, I get that you are not in the business of selling used motors without warranty. "Hours researching parts and options"? Maybe. Not really my issue either. My issue was communication. I assumed that you guys tried to fix it before jumping to a new head. I assumed that a simple repair wasn't enough. Since all it took was a simple repair, I am left believing that you either didn't try that or didn't want to. I spent half the summer with my boat in the garage wondering if I could get anything for it, wondering if there was another way to repair it. That was because I believed your diagnosis. Glad to have neighbors who know more than I do. If anyone bothers to read to the end of this review the take away should be "ask questions". Don't assume the option presented is the only one. Give Mutiny Marine a try. They worked well for me for a while. Just be ready to get a second opinion if something seems off. Best wishes.
Spencer Rogers: I haven't gotten my purchase yet, and it's been over a week 😪.After infestation I I found out its not Mutiny Marine failed to do it's job it was the transfer of money by banks. These people have everything for my boat and engine. I look forward to doing business with them again if I need so. Very professional and accommodating. THANK YOU MUTINY MARINE FOR YOUR HELP
Randy Turner: Great guys to work with! First time there and they make you feell like you have known they your whole life!
jeff barber: Extremely helpful staff!! I scheduled an appointment and my boat was completed and ready for pickup right on time! The work was done in a timely manner, neat and clean! I highly recommend these marine technicians!Service:General installation
David Lis: These guys were awesome.. told me two weeks and in a little over a week they called me with a list of things they found with cost of each.. got the work done at a very reasonable price in the two weeks they side .. best boat repair experience I have had in the last 20 years.. already referred them to two of my neighborsService:Engine repair
Jerry Woods: They did everything I asked for.Had issue getting a hard to find electrical part for an older Johnson but found it.Had quite a list for them to do and have zero complaints.Charged me about half the $$ of what I thought it was going to cost.
Kyler Anderson: My old review must have been taken down or maybe never got posted. But 2 summers ago took a jetski there for repairs, not only did they have a long wait time and terrible customer support to let us know when they'd get to work on it. They winterized it and never started till the next summer. After countless calls they insited it would get done and the day I go to pick it up after several calls, I throw it in the water and bam same problem, charged upwards of $1k for the work alone and the thing never ran right. Took it to C&C sports in brighton and said they'd have a parts delay but kept good customer communication and had it done before summer ended running better than the day we bought it. C&C said there was multiple parts installed wrong and even a wrong part installed into the jet drive unit along with pieces still damaged that should have been part of the repair. C&C charged an equal price and even with their delays still had the jet ski up and running quicker and better. Theres no comparison, save your time and money and skip this place.
Jason Hath: Great place to get service done. Friendly staff that communicated with me as they were going through the engine. I will definitely use them again if needed.Services:Oil change,Engine repair
glenn munroe: This was the first year we have utilized Mutiny Marine for winterization and boat storage. We were coming off a year of poor service from another local provider. Alex and the team at Mutiny Marine did an AMAZING job with our boat, from transport, service, winterization, cleaning/detailing, delivery. Top notch group that WORKS to earn your business. We will never use another provider that treats us like a number. Mutiny Marine is best in class.Services:Oil change,Boat trailer service,Winterization,Boat cleaning
Nathaniel Stead: Had these guys work on a outboard twice so far. Last year they rebuilt my lower end...got the boat in faster than any other place in the area....very happy with the work. This year I took it back because I had a little stutter with the engine....the problem took a bit to figure out but I felt like I was kept in the loop the entire time. They did not try to over sell me on things they had to try during the diagnostic tests. In fact I felt I should've paid them more for going above and beyond but they wouldn't except it. If I had to explain it best I would say that I have serious trust issues with allowing people to work on my things but I have zero concerns about letting mutiny marine service my boat and will continue to use them as long as I own a boat.....highly recommend, stop looking for a marine mechanic and give these guys a call!!!
TIM Tyndall: Mutiny marine serviced my boat wich needed alot of work. I am very satisfied with the service and work performed. She is all ready for some fun in the sun!Services:Tune-ups,Water pump service,Engine repair,Battery inspection/service,General repairs maintenance,Accessory electronic installations
Brian Haymart: I've been trusting Mutiny Marine to take care of my boat for several years now. I've used them for winterization/storage, engine maintenance/repair, and even trailer repair/maintenance. Customer service from Derrick and Alex has been great, and their technicians do excellent work at reasonable prices. They don't pressure you to do work that doesn't really need to be done, which is greatly appreciated. They really do their best to meet the needs of the customer. Now that they are a certified Mercury Marine sales and service dealership, I'm even happier to be one of their customers.Services:Winterization,Tune-ups,Engine repair
Jacob Spragg: Had a new steering system installed by Mutiny and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service I got. Very friendly guys at the shop and I had my boat back extremely fast. When an issue came up, they gave me some good alternative options instead of just pushing the most expensive option. I’d recommend them to anyone!Service:General repairs maintenance
Ocean Bound: They got me in before the spring rush! Alex went out of his way to make sure I got the scheduled service we agreed upon. Clean and professional install on my electronics, and boat was clean when I got it back. Ryan was really great in explaining how the goodies work. Thanks Guys!Service:Engine repair
James Lommel: Mutiny Marine does terrific work and they are reasonably priced. I recommend them very highly.Services:Tune-ups,Engine repair
Jason Wendecker: Services:Winterization,General repairs maintenancePositive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality
J Peitz: Services:Oil change,WinterizationPositive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Value
Thomas Larsen: Very professional and friendly service. Brought my boat in for service Thursday morning after talking to Alex and asked if they would be able to have it ready for the weekend. Already Thursday afternoon I received a call that the boat was fixed and ready to go.The team is very friendly and helpful and I can only recommend them if you need assistance with your boatServices:Winterization,General repairs maintenance

I 94 Marine & Watersports: what do users think?
Jon Gancarz: Greg is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated in the power sports industry. Always have a great experience.
thad p: Said they would make my pontoons shine with power washing. I was disappointed.
Dan Mace: Greg at I-94 is always very helpful whenever I need some parts or questions about my boat. Prices are almost always the cheapest compared to other places i have called in the past. Also i would have to say there that there showroom is very nice, neat and always stocked. Thanks for all the great years of service from Greg and that pretty girl behind the desk!! Update I just bought a new pontoon from them. I cannot say enough about how the boat was delivered to me. Gary went over every answer the phone with me explained everything taught me how to launch the boat and load it and also during the process of buying it he kept in close touch with me keeping me updated on the delivery date! Thank you Gary
MrE P: If it's for a boat they can find it. The guys here have always helped me get things done faster and easier.
Frugal Traveler: UPDATE: My carb was fine. (Gregg said it needed to be rebuilt) I took it elsewhere..they simply saw the fuel line was overclamped and the pressure was spewing gas not the carb. I lost an entire season thanks to I-94 afraid to drive it.. My boat now runs beautifully. This is a case of a dad that created a business and a son running it into the ground that cant be trusted. When we hear he fires his son..it may be safe to return.____________I gave these people a lot of work. My boat trailer, new tires, lights, winch.. (and let them keep my old tires (6 of them)so they could sell them). Winterizing, towing from my storage to the store and back..2 miles.. that they increased the price from $50 to $100 each way. When they did my winterizing last fall ,they said my carb needed work and could he do it over the winter. I told them ok but when they called I was in Florida and not there to take the tarp off (they said they didnt want to tow as it could fly off and their suggestion for the tarp). I called when I got back the next week. Gregg said I "missed my opportunity" and now he couldnt do it and reluctantly put in a work order AND told me he had no help. Meanwhile..a google review says he took another womans engine without an appointment..a week later when I was back!!! Did I get a call? No! My tows plus putting in the water cost more than winter storage! I paid for putting in the water as well.I should not have had to bring it in the winter! I had this work order put in the previous fall to get the boat in the spring. Winter was a courtesy on my part. He lied and said he had no help.If they lie about that..rest assured..they lie about other things. They are just not reliable...I am not sure how they stay in business. The good reviews have to be friends or family.Message me if there is someone in the Belleville area that works on boat engines, shrink wraps, storage and restoration so I can pass on to our boat club. We need an alternative to being ripped off.
Tiffany Martin: This place has the worst customer service. Greg the owners son is very rude. We paid them almost $3000 for repairs to our boat and we continued to have issues with it.We are 1st time boat owners. When they returned the boat to us, they did not put the plug back in the back of the boat so when we put the boat in the water it sunk. There was no accountability for this or any of the other issues we had with them.
Stephen Jacobs: They did a good job taking care of us for parts
ESTEA: I dropped my jetski off to have it repaired. The guy that called me could not have been more rude and disrespectful to a prospective customer. His overly-apparent desire to NOT work on my jetski, while simultaneously insulting me, was a level of bad service I had yet to experience until today. I should’ve listened to the reviews about this place. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to I94 Marine & Watersports.
J Griff: Brought in common parts needing replacement. Looked at them and said can't help you.
Michael Lincoln: Yeah as others have said I just don't get it. For all I know they do good work, but you can't get past the people that work the front . It was so outwardly dismissive and rude you can't just bring yourself to give them your business. Weird.
James Fairley: Will never go there again! $100 deposit just to see what’s wrong with the boat! Dropped my boat off! Said that they will contact us on the repairs in 7 days! Well they didn’t! I called them on the 10th day and Greg said we haven’t looked at the unit yet! Called me a few days later and was extremely rude! Told me are you the one that I need to talk to about the boat because I’m not going to explain it again! Told me it’s $2000 to $3000.00 to fix the boat I told him to go head and fix the boat! I guess he thought because of my skin color I didn’t have it! He then called back and said he needed another $200.00 to do a compression check! Called back and said oh we can’t do the work! Basically telling us our boat was not worth it and a bad investment and not to put work into it! Total rip off! $300.00 for what! Took it to K&M Marine in Redford. Customer service was great they didn’t charge us to give us an estimate! They said they will get the boat running and ready for the water! Thanks K&M Marine!RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! UNPROFESSIONAL! DO NOT GO TO I-94 MARINE & WATERSPORT!
Rodney Richardson: Parts guy was very rude won't go back never had a problem there before do your self a favor and go somewhere else
Nikk Niff: I called for service today and the guy who answered the phone didn't seem like he needed anyone's business. His response was "First come, first serve...2 week wait before we can even get it looked at".... Not sure but something about that just didn't suit right with me and seems like a waste of time on both ends. Sad it's so hard to find a decent marina
jesse porter: My father took his boat in to get it prepared for spring and get a new battery. When we got the boat back one of the plastic handles where broke. ( A $4 part) so we ask for them to replace it. After a whole lot of back and forth (3 phone calls and once going in)they finally agreed to replace it but they won't install it. Terrible customer service!!!!
steven meyer: Always helpful...very knowledgeable...fast turn around and lots of products
David Sengstock: The attendant was helpful and a nice guy. I will return to this store.
Tharina Verroen: Horrible customer service! Very rude and curt to me and my husband throughout the majority of this process. I initially thought I received a good deal on a NEW motor. After taking it out twice, it wasn't getting fuel and left us stranded!!! I would have taken it back there, but they were so rude, I swore not to going back there ever.I went to R&L to have them look at the issue. They got me right in THAT DAY, just to take a quick look and showed us that the engine hadn't been completely installed correctly on the gas line. The fitting wasn't even for our engine! It was leaking gas in the back of the boat. Fire hazzard! That's the Readers Digest version, because it's not worth another minute of my time. Do yourself a favor and go to ANYBODY but I-94 marina.
Jeff Sandy: Great service and prices. Fully stocked parts department.
Hubert Buchte: I like that I can get parts there and get my boat winterized too.
Barbara Scroi: The worst customer service ever. Will not ever go back, would never recommend this dump. Rude, extremely bad customer service.
KimberLeAnne D: DO NOT GO HERE IT IS THE WORST! YOU WILL REGRET GIVING THEM YOUR BUSINESS!

Wonderland Marine West: what do users think?
brian moore: I bought a Yamaha G3 angler 164F here and I love it. If you are looking for a boat to last G3 is a good place to start. I like to think that it's the Toyota of boat brands. The Mitter family owns the operation and you can find a Mitter in every department. I worked with AJ Mitter primarily and he was determined to work with me to get me the boat I wanted. Never did I feel pressured nor strong armed. The staff knows how to treat you well. The Service team did a fine job installing my add ons and walked me through all the features of the boat on pickup day. I really have no complaints with the entire process. So if you're in the market for a great boat from a great family stop on in!
Brett Harmer: Very helpful,friendly staff.
Joe Yenchus: After months of searching for a new waverunner and dealing with a plethora of salesman from Yamaha shops within a 3-hour radius of my house I was so lucky to find Wonderland marine west! Bar none my top choice for salesman goes to Joe Nagy! Very honest, knowledgeable, straight shooter for sure! Though I am located over 2 1/2 hours away Joe made it very easy to communicate and was very responsive whenever I had questions before and after the sale. I was also very impressed after the sale with Pete from the service department. He spent quite a while going over the machine top to bottom with me, answering all my questions which were many and offered alot of great advice and I could tell he was very experienced and knowledgeable ! Then to top it off, stopped in the parts department to get some oil and such before I left and Dan was behind the counter. Also very helpful and even offered some great advice and was very pleasant to work with! Two thumbs up to Wonderland Marine !Very professional set up they got going on there! Even though they're located two and a half hours away from me this will be the first place I contact when I'm ready for my next toy for sure!
Alex Gardner: My wife and I had a great experience purchasing our new 255XD from AJ at the Howell location. AJ was really quick to respond to all of our questions before and after the sale as we were trying to figure the boat out and made the whole process easy. He listened to what we wanted and didn't push anything we didn't want or need. He took extra time out of his day to walk us around all the features on the boat to make sure we knew what we were getting and even took us out on the water to make sure we understood everything. Even after the sale AJ has been quick to respond with questions on how the boat works and making sure we're completely satisfied. We would highly recommend AJ, Wonderland, and Yamaha!
DOMINIC: Jack Wolf was the guy who came out and hooked all the batteries up for me without me even asking. I just figured I'd hook them up after I got the boat home, but Jack went above and beyond to make sure it was all wired and good-to-go prior to me leaving. Not sure if he's the manager there or not, but he definitely acted like one by helping me get my boat water-ready when he didn't have too! Top notch employee!
John Brownfiel: Spent the last couple of weekends going to the outdoor expo and the boat show since we are in the market for a new boat. Met Joe Nagy at the outdoor expo show and just signed the paperwork for our new boat yesterday at the boat show. Joe is an awesome guy, very knowledgeable and gives you a very fair deal. I would highly recommend you look him up if in the market for either a new or used boat.
Sheri Walters: We just bought a new boat, and our salesman, AJ Mitter, has been sooo helpful! (He's the best! Make sure you ask for him!) He's taken a lot of time to answer our many questions, showing us boats and options, and special ordering accessories for our new boat. We've had a great experience! Now we just need some jet skis...🙂
Ross Carr: Don’t buy and boat from anyone other than Joe Nagy, best buying experience around, just bought my 2nd boat from him
Mike K: In November, I took my bass boat in to be winterized and stored, and to have some electronics from my other boat mounted. The experience in working with Jack has been nothing short of incredible.First, his knowledge is second to none. He knew exactly the cables to connect my trolling motor to my Humminbird. He found a bracket to essentially "stack" the Helix and the Garmin Echomap, and then found a pole mount for the Livescope transducer. I've always wanted to have my boat rigged like this and not only will my boat be more fishable, it will be set up to catch more fish.Seems like if a part exists, these guys can get it.Second, their winterizing and storage package is awesome. They also have a spring prep package that means that when you pick your boat up, you'll be able to dump it in the lake and drive it away. I've not been offered anything like this at another dealer, and it's a tremendous value for the price. Finally, there has been no "nickel and diming." Pricing has been extremely straightforward and fair. In fact, the only surprises that I've had have been good ones. I expected to pay WAY more for all of the things that I'm getting done.Because of this experience, I will never work with another dealer or with anyone else for boat stuff other than Wonderland. In short- if you are cautiously looking for a place to have some work done on your boat, or to buy a new boat, these are the right people. I highly recommend them for anything marine!
Sarah Baldwin: I just had THE BEST experience here! Joe Nagy is knowledgeable and honest about everything, the boats AND financing. You will not regret giving them your business. They have a great inventory and are just plain GOOD people. Go buy a boat from Joe!!!!
Kyle LaPree: Great Marina needed help getting my Yamaha Jet Ski Up and Running , was back on the water in No Time!
IamKrusty: Unbelievable Yamaha dealer! We had a deposit on the same boat at another dealer in OH, that never came in. Fortuneately, we drove 2 hours to stop by here! The other dealer in Sterling Heights GP, required a 10% non-refundable deposit on a non-special order boat tgey Cldnt even guarantee to come in, so screw them, not to mention their terrible customer service that NEVER RETURNS A CALL!?! We saw the same boat sitting on the lot here at Wonderland, so we scooped it up and grabbed it! AJ brought it into the building for us to look at while the other dealers required us to climb under the covers in the cold January rain/snow! They gave us a good deal with NO markup! They always return calls immediately. We couldn't be happier with our new Yamaha & send everyone here now from OH! Then when we surprisingly did have a warranty issue, they made us feel completely comfortable. They went all the way to Ohio, picked it up, fixed it that week, and delivered it back to us at our Marina the NEXT weekend!!! Who does that?!? They do here! The customer service is Rediculously good! This is definitely the place to buy ur next Yamaha Product no doubt!!!! So glad we chose them and loving our new Yamaha AR250! They took care of everything for us and gave us a "Wonderful" experience from start to finish!!!! Thanks again AJ!
Stephen Taylor: Not honest people. Wonderland mechanic took our boat to the lake for a test drive when there was nothing wrong with it and then charged us $150. Only looking to increase speed from where it’s at currently. Didn’t actually check anything mechanically recommended as Mark suggested they would do upfront. Got boat back with a torn boat cover. Eric suggested the wind at 55mph did that!!! Do not bring your boat here!
Melissa Elliott: Horrible service. My trailer has been here for two months and they still haven’t started any repairs. If I didn’t call and harass them about repairing it then nothing would be done. The guy handling the repair has so many excuses every time we call and acts like we have never spoken about a plan of action. We Sent him information to send to my insurance company a month ago and we had to call and harass him again to see if anything was sent and he acted like we never discussed this. Just horrible experience overall, especially how the summer is almost over and I haven’t enjoyed my boat once. Wish I could give them 0 stars.
Matthew Gunter: Excellent pre-owned selection. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
Dave Bryant: As a veteran of the car business for almost 30 years I felt compelled to write a review. I bought my first new boat EVER from Joe Nagy at WMW and had an excellent experience. He even helped me convince my beloved that we MUST HAVE the last 21 Stingray that was sitting there in the showroom. This happened right at the crest of Covid and I still got a very fair deal on the boat. Everyone there was extremely helpful and courteous throughout the entire process. They gave us time to sell our old boat and arrange our own financing. Even though we went that route their offer on ours was fair as was the financing they came up with. We were never rushed or pressured and everything they promised to do was done right on schedule. Everyone there was extremely helpful right down to the demo and delivery. This was a HUGE purchase decision for us and everyone at Wonderland was more than helpful. I had visited a couple other places and was so turned off at the lack of knowledge and product and nobody seemed to want to work with us. I had a blast with Joe and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase. I have had a couple things that needed attention after the sale and everything went smoothly. We love our boat and have nothing but good things to say about these people. Thanks again!!
Curtis Burgess: This place is extremely unprofessional. Definitely not a place I would refer to even my enemies. Been having them winterize and do spring tuneup on my new to me purchased pontoon boat for two years. First year all the twine ties used to hold the shrink rack were left on the boat… Not a huge dealThis year. Different story. They picked the boat up last year fall of 2021. We said we wanted tuneup in the spring. Come spring, so we needed a carburetor rebuild and a tilt motor. After carburetor, another part that was an accessory to carburetor. $1200 worth of labor, and they said I had a bad cylinder. Want to sell us a $15,000 new engine. When they picked the boat up it ran fine. Now they brought it back and it almost shakes the boat apart, will not go over 10 kn. The horn doesn’t work, the lights don’t work. The people that dropped the boat off for my 81-year-old dad left the key on so battery was completely dead. Extremely dissatisfied. Completely unprofessional experience with less consideration and advantage taken of my 81-year-old father. What a waste of $8000 I paid for this boat two years ago. Only got 12 hours out of it. Bottom line they took a working product from me, and gave me a nonworking product, and charged $2600 for winterization and carburetor rebuild
Matt Miller: Promised my boat in 8 weeks before fishing season. Took almost 16 weeks to get my boat. Called multiple times with little information on status of my boat. No updates they could care less. My boat finally came in after 16 weeks. Paid them and couldn’t even take home due to electrical issues. Picked up next day and they had cover on for me ready to take home in rain. Took cover off at home and windshield busted, parts laying in floor, and stripped screws everywhere. Called them on warranty days after taking home and didn’t even get a call back. These Guys are clowns at best.
Gary C: Worked with Joe buying a used pontoon, he was awesome, called every time he said he would and made it a very easy and positive experience. Everyone I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. Such a great experience after being disappointed by another dealer. Wonderland will be my first and only stop for any future boat purchases.
Chris Williams: Awesome Marina, stop into the Howell Location and say Hi to AJ Mitter for your best deal on a new Boat.
Steve H: CJ AJ and all the folks are top notch….excellent quality and no price games. We have our first new pontoon…had lots of boats before but pontoons are kinda unique….so the staff answered all our many questions! They delivered our boat over 100 miles from Howell and even helped us launch it. (Chris is a delivery person).

Wilson Marine Brighton: what do users think?
Mike Gidelski: Great experience with Matt GWe love our boat and are really happy with it so far!
Michele Shewell: I purchased a used boat from Wilson Marine last year - from what I was told I was supposed to receive a boater safety package which includes life jackets etc …. Never received them last year and after using them for winterization, upon delivery this year and having a discussion regarding the missing package - it was still not delivered- someone was supposed to drive out and deliver it a month ago and still nothing. The customer service in regards to this matter has been poorly managed- will not use them again for any additional services.
Erik Paul: These guys are awesome!
DT MDW's BEST: Great overall experience from start to finish in the buying/delivery process. 10/10 recommended to anyone in the market for a boat or accessories.
Jon Caltabiano: I recently purchased a Starweld Fusion 16SC with a 90hp from Tony Cornwell at the Wilson Marine Brighton location. I could be happier with the service I received. The entire process from closing to delivery was smooth. I had one small issue after delivery and the service team took care of me right away.
Douglas Kern: Looking for dock sections. Randy Wilson, one of the owners was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Dave N: Talked to Derrick about a new motor. He hung up on me mid sentence. Horrible attitude.
They call me Mr. Nice Guy: Good place.
Marie Foguth: If you are looking for a pontoon, or any boating needs, Wilson Marine is the place to go. Great display in their showroom and easy to walk about to view all the many options you can have. Great people to work with from first entering the building to lowering your boat into the water. Couldn't say enough about this great group of people. Thank you for making our summer a whole lot more enjoyable. Would highly recommend you visit any of their showrooms throughout Southeast Michigan...Top Notch! Thanks again for a delightful experience.
Todd Klebba: Carl and his team were very detail oriented as well as very quick to get the job done with my new boat. Everyone from the sales team to service has been amazing.
Nick Barr: Completely awful customer service and will refuse to take responsibility for their own actions
Theresa Allen: Very professional & informative on all questions. I would definitely recommend
Gary Hall: First I will retract my statement I made about Wilson Marine. Ron the owner called me, and reashurd me everthing will be taken care of. Robert the man that delivered my pontoon back to me was the best service man I ever met. He really is a very personable man. Wilson Marine should be proud to have a man like him.Thank You.
Tonia Dana: The weather wasn't great. Howeverthe service was !!!!!*****
Peter Cunningham: We were looking for a "starter" boat, searching online and finally reached out to Wilson Marine. Best move we made. ANDREW at the Howell/Brighton showroom is excellent. Very professional and experienced, helped us navigate many issues to come to a decision best for us.
Barbara Curtis: Can't wait till summer to enjoy our new toy!
mike sodano: Professional staff, loads of inventory, in a beautiful setting.
Andrew Lujan: I just purchased a 2020 crestliner XF189 from salesman Anthony at Wilson Marine. I couldn’t be any happier and satisfied with the boat and ALL the help Anthony provided me with!! He went above and beyond my expectations! I am from Nebraska so it was a long trip , but Anthony even found me a hotel room located near the Boat Shop and helped me in so many different ways I can’t even say how much I appreciate and am blessed I got Anthony as my salesman!! I highly recommend Anthony at Wilson Marine if you are looking to purchase a boat!! I wanted a couple additions to the boat, and Anthony made it happen!! Lots of salesman in my past purchases once they got the sale finished they didn’t want anything to do with me. That sure wasn’t the case with Anthony!! I can’t say enough good things about Anthony and the guys at Wilson Marine!! They made my boat purchase experience perfect!! Thanks again Anthony!!!!
Kent Poli: My repair experience was not good. Very friendly staff but do read everything they put in front of you. They like to leave key provisions out that will cost you money. Do get a second quote for any repair. I had two issues and both quotes were substantially higher than their competitors. Do not trust Ron. He has a nice smile but he is not your friend.
Brian Giltinan: Update: the service manager worked to get my boat returned at no cost and logistics will be covered once the part comes in.So far- not a great experience. If you’re going to have your boat close to them, maybe ok, but the warranty Will-care program is not as advertised. 2yr old Boat has been in for repair twice already (same issue, so it was never fixed the first time!). Boat has been with them 6 weeks so far, way outside the 15 day guarantee fix or loaner motor provided at no cost. At this point to get my boat back to use it for the few days left, it’s supposedly going to cost me return transportation money when the warranty part comes in (for the issue not fixed the first time no less). Doesn’t make sense…. So beware! I’ll update the post if a more favorable solution is offered.
Tricia Paff: I am writing to express my gratitude to the staff at Wilson Marine Brighton, they are truly superb.“Good” customer service is hard to come by these days, and “excellent” customer service is even rarer…. but I found it, in Jessica and Chris at Wilson Marine of Howell.Jessica handled the financing, and watching her in action, on the job, was a sight to see! She was well-prepared, organized, and efficient despite having to conduct her work using an antiquated manual-feed printer. Jessica impressed me on every level, it was obvious to me that the ship would go down without her.Chris, from service, was equally impressive. He was patient with me and my teenage son during the water orientation where he provided clear and concise instructions for how to operate and navigate our new vessel. Chris went above and beyond the call of duty, and his dedication to customer service and safety is unmatched.Wilson Marine is lucky, fortunate actually, to have these two gems on their team.

Angler's Marine: what do users think?
Destry Hoffard: Do you want your boat destroyed by a repair service? Then this is the place to go.
Robert Gossett: Went there with a part I thought was bad. Talked to them. They said let's test the part. Results showed good. Not bad. They pulled the shop manual gave suggestions came home I fixed it. Great help THANK YOU. They will get ALL MY MAINTAINANCE WORK!
Daniel Dobbins: Knowledgeable staff, great service, full parts dept.
David Eldridge: Staff was not respectful of my property. They caused damage to my engine cover, looks like they dropped it, and never disclosed the damage. They allowed snow and ice into the boat causing damage to the carpet, even though the boat had a cover on it. Also, they left food, FOOD, in the boat.
Keith Yo: Had a older 1980 sea ray, they have kept it running great over the years. Have a newer sea ray now and they have maintained and winterized it well the past couple years.
Harley Cumming: Great place to get work done on boats
Antonio Gonzalez: Highly disappointed had to take my boat here 3 times for poor workmanship took so long to hear back from them and to fit me in was still waiting on a call still not working right they replaced my head gasket and water pump took my boat out was stuck in reverse and still not pumping water correctly they didn’t have shifter rod connected after returning a week later he assured me it was good went back out didnt shift at all controls were outa whack Was still questioning water pump Drove my boat up there next day he adjusted it again checked water pump assured me it was good now I have parts melted to my boat motor from overheatingA year later I finally figured out how these people almost cost me my boat motor. They replaced my water pump installed the parts incorrectly had my motor over heating parts melting to it. They also replaced my head gasket put the bad thermostat back in not only did they do terrible work I had to take my boat back several times and still couldn’t get it right a complete waste of so much time and 500$ now I had to do this work myself
Ron VanderMeeden: Went well was less then quoted cant go wrong there
Wessam Hashem: Tom has been a pleasure to work with. He has been patient and answered all my questions. The best part about this experience is that he saved me more than $5k after I had gotten a quote from another company.
Bob Bodrie: Angler Marine does not like to service what they sell they do very sloppy work
Bob Stockdale: Great guys and honest
Brian: Very nice boating supply store that has a big selection of parts and supplies at reasonable prices. The gentleman that helped me out with finding some parts I was looking for was very knowledgeable and curtious. He made suggestions as well as offered multiple options when I explained my boating project/upgrade that I was working on. I will definitely go back to this store when I am in the area and need another part or some advice.
Chad Roberts: Had what I needed and answered a few questions. Good guy.
A Nie: Super friendly owner!
Steve Lyles: I have not utilized their services however I called and explained my problem and they made a few suggestions for me to look at myself which helped me resolve my problem and saved me time and money. I will def give them a chance for service work on my boat
Private Account: I brought a brand new boat from this guy. Worst sales experience of my life. Place is a dump and in my opinion the guy is one of the most incompetent lying conman I have ever tried to deal with. Stayed tuned. Once some legal stuff is sorted out you will a here about my experience. I would strongly encourage anybody who is dealing with this place to go elsewhere.. you can thank me later. More to come.....
Kenneth Hays: Good service and friendly service.
jason allred: Very helpful went out of their way to find a part I needed that nobody else in the area carried.Thank you
E “Mag man” Adams: Had my boat in twice for repair this season both times I was satisfied with the service the second time I took it in for a new starter i dropped it off in the morning and by lunchtime it was done ✅ I was floored by the speed of service and the price was fair they’ve always been straight forward with me and always try to get me in and out as quickly as possible, will return for future service!
Premier Tattoo: Best of the best
N F: Great staff, great owner. Help me out so much! Didn't try to sell me but only wanted to help me get my boat fixed and on the water! Told me what to do so I could fix it myself and didn't charge me!!! No diagnosis charge anything!!! Thanks Angler Marine!!!!
