Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Jennifer Miller: The facility is really nice, but the staff is super rude. They honestly do not care about customers and do not do their jobs. Can also hear them talking bad things about customers that needed their help. Worst service ever!
Mary Strodl: Surprisingly walkable for a US city
FARE RIDE: Perfect location. Busy train station and the awesome staff their work really hard. It’s now a dual purpose station with Greyhound available their too. You can catch westbound trains to Chicago and eastbound trains to Dearborn and up to Pontiac. Indoor seating is available in the lobby during operational hours.
Timothy Keebler: Decent amount of seating for the size of the station. Everything is clean and in good repair. Friendly staff. The train only makes a quick stop, but boarding is quick and easy. Note that there is no checked baggage on these trains.
Peppa Pig: i’ve been on this train to chicago from ann arbor for 14 hours, this trip was supposed to be 4.
Maricela Rodriguez: Very nice train/bus stop
Manuel Jimbo.: Gracias por todo bendiciones 🙏
Andy B: Nice town. Not too big. Not too small. College town. Lots going on for a town of it's size. Seems like it would be a cool place to live.
ALLISON CHASE: Nice Amtrak station, clean bathrooms, attendants are present and helpful. Nice train to take to Chicago or come from Pontiac for a day trip to Ann Arbor. Uber service is good in Ann Arbor and they have many good restaurants nearby while you wait ✋ 😉
Zachary Stewart: A place to catch the Greyhound bus station to get a Bus ride home
Rick Carbon (The Scientist): For a small train station is guess it’s good. Always crowded because of the university but never an issue getting on or off the train. Whether the Amtrak is on time is another story.
m K: Better weather than the Twin Cities!
George Burger: No communication from the station, trains always late 5-10 minutes acceptable 45 minutes late not acceptable especially when no one wants to even alert you. Lousy terminal customer service. Last time I chose Amtrak scenic ride doesn’t compete with lousy customer service and delays.
Jason Wysocki: Its just an average train station. Bathrooms were clean enough. Parks was pretty difficult to find with not a lot of signage. Woman at the desk was super nice.
Evan Schilling: While the train station itself isn't bad, I cannot recommend taking the Amtrak Wolverine line. Over 10 trips, the train was at best an hour delayed, with a number of trips having 2-3 hour delays. They badly need to update either the timetable or the route itself.
James Biehl: Trains are NEVER on time.
karan bhakta: EL be better
Emily Darow: The station was fine....my issues were with the employees on the train...i know they ride the train daily....however I had never been in an Amtrack train so I had no idea of the procedures on board.....not one of them was even pleasant to be around....on our way to Chicago we were YELLED at to get out of the dining car after spending quite a bit of money on beer and snacks on the train....we willingly left and would've done so and felt better about it if the woman who was yelling at us could've just asked us to move...it felt like she honestly just wanted a confrontation ...to top it off on the way to Chicago we stopped in the middle of the woods for just about an hour and a half....just sitting...no real explanation....on the way home we had a horrible time finding seats...and ended up in a car that they had the heat BLASTING in....an elderly gentleman asked the conductor if anything could be done....conductor says NO it's ON or OFF I can't please everybody....which was in my opinion the wrong way to go about talking to a man that was clearly having a very rough time from the heat....it's safe to say this was my first and LAST time on Amtrack....I won't ever suggest it to friends either.....pretty sad because it seems like trains could be a great experience if people would just be halfway reasonable....
Shaunna Timiney: I had a very early morning train to Chicago. When I arrived it was still dark outside and I could not find the parking. I asked someone that worked there and they said to read the sign.I must have looked distressed because another passenger in the waiting area went outside and showed me where you have to drive around to park. It was really confusing!! No signs that I could see either. I found the lot and got on the train, but I think next time I would depart from Dearborn where its much easier to park!!
katelin yoon: Literally delayed every single time at least for 30min. Stops in the middle of nowhere for 30min. Overall just is never capable of arriving on time. Arrived 2 hrs after the estimate arrival time. The worst
Ethan Peyton: This is the towniest town in town!
