Young People's Theater: what do users think?
Lindsey Brown: Abusive workplace!
Isaac Burgdorf: Leaders donate to anti immigration funds. Treats staff poorly after not training them. Trash people.
Julie Wiechman-Jarrett: Matilda was great!
Charles Scrase: One of the very special organizations in our community. YPT has been a highlight of our daughter's childhood.
Amy Landingham: The virtual summer camp FAR exceeded my expectations. We signed up just to have something for my kiddo to do during the summer of COVID, but she really learned a lot and engaged with the other kids. She strengthened old friendships and made some new ones too. I was exceedingly impressed with the program and the amount of thought that was given to the content. As always, YPT went above and beyond.
Michael Casella: A fantastic children's theater group. My son spent many years doing shows with them and now works at their summer camps and does the lighting for many of their shows. If you're child or grandchild has any interest in theater, this is the place for them.
David Sedlow: Excellent performance!
Marieka Kaye: This place is astounding - the level of talent YPT gets out of kids is truly impressive. The producer and directors are all top notch and work so well with kids. They expect a lot, help kids grow out of their comfort zones, and it pays off in spades. Seeing YPT shows will ruin Broadway for you - they are that good. YPT goes above-and-beyond to be professional, organized, and supportive of their kids. My 2nd grader had an incredible experience at summer camp and in her first show. I have also never seen such a high level of volunteer work and parent participation. If your kid has the theater bug, I recommend checking out this gem!
Noah Greenberg: Great place to start in theater
Ann Arborite: YPT is a wonderful, nurturing and welcoming place for kids to learn acting, singing and dancing. Their shows are high-quality productions that almost rival what you see on Broadway! YPT also offers a variety of summer camps, which are a great way for kids to get their feet wet and develop skills that will serve them well on the stage, as well as in life! My kids, now ages 9 and 11, have been involved with YPT for 4 years and have loved every minute. I'd definitely recommend it for kids who are looking to develop their skills and gain experience in theater. (And, with respect to what the prior reviewer says, the staff at YPT always seem very happy! Many return summer after summer, and the director and music director who worked with my kids had been with YPT for years!)

Theatre Nova: what do users think?
Barbara Tucker: Theater Nova's standards are very high. The plays, the actors, direction, staging - everything is high quality and eminently enjoyable. Additionally, donation dollars are well spent and go a long way, and administrative staff is helpful and uncomplicated. Great community theater!
Darrell T: This is a great place to see a play. Small and quaint. You are welcome to come casual. One thing that still exists is mandatory masks. It's best to be safe.
Claire McGinn: We saw Sugar Plum Panto yesterday and it kept my ADHD 4-year-old entertained. I can't think of a higher praise than that. Amazing!!
Nancy Oatley: A nice little place to see new theater
Mary Morrison: A fabulous panto with excellent actors! Dan Morrison is brilliant as usual!
Gerard Orlowski: Great performance!
Edward Dunne: A tiny theater with great plays.
louis daher: What's not to like about it
Alexander H. Trice: Great theatre in SE Michigan specialising new works
Kyle Malone: It was ok - not really a fan...but I had good company..so that made it good I think
James Abston: Saw "Kill, Move, Paradise". Great acting, very moving.
Berry Welser: A good space for an AMAZING show. Kill Move Paradise is a show that should not be missed.
Joe Nix: Went to Green Room on Monday night.
Diana Armistead: Great shows. Don't miss this out of the way venue
Milko Gergov: Bravo. Very impressive performance.
Jeffrey Basch: Local playwrights and professional actors doing what they do best in a tiny GA theater. Never more than 20 feet from original theater. Part of what makes Ann Arbor special.
Nira & Amos Lev: Whoa! we saw the play yesterday . It was the first time we saw a play at this theater. Highly recommended! Great acting, incredibly interesting, wonderful ambiance! We will come to see EVERYONE of your plays! Thanks for a truly fabulous play! It was a very enjoyable evening.
Aoife Duvv: Intimate theater space, EXCELLENT show tonight (Mazel Tov, John Lennon)! In an effort to make live professional theater affordable, tickets are an affordable $22, but for those on a restricted budget they also offer "pay what you can" tickets.
Jeff Pollack: Small intimate space. Wish there were more snack choices but overall great.
Terri Makowski: A very intimate setting to experience the wonders of live, local theater. I will return.
Ken Koleda: This place is tiny! And it seemed smelly...but that faded. The Christmas show was AMAZING. Perhaps I had low expectations, but I was extremely impressed with the comedy and performance, singing, dancing...pretty cool. If that is their normal work I would be glad to recommend it to anyone.

Power Center for the Performing Arts: what do users think?
Eric Ackerman: YPT put on a wonderful performance. Facility was great, a little cumbersome with how the online tickets functioned but ultimately a great time was had.
Judith Wismont: Comfortable seats. Reasonable leg room. Enuf rise to see over the head of the person in tge row in front of me. Good sound. :)
Jim Edwards: Great venue for seeing a performance. The chairs are comfortable and the views of the stage are good everywhere.
Geoff Charbeneau: We went to the production of RENT. It was awesome.
L Edwards: First time. Every seat is an awesome seat! I was so very lucky to see Rent for the first time (not even the movie) ever tonight! . Angel.... you stole my heart from the first note you sang!!!!!❤️❤️ The cast was unbelievable in my noobie opinion. These talented performers gave a Broadway worthy show. The chemistry was never forced, the music was fantastic, the staging was beautiful and atmosphere positive. You all rocked it tonight!
Daniel Piippo: Good venue to see a show...only negative is that the seats are really narrow.
Arbor Move: Great experience
Eric Preissner: The Power Center is an excellent mid-sized venue for all types of theatrical performances. We have had the season subscription for several years and enjoy the productions very much. Prices are quite reasonable and you get to see some of the finest up-and-coming talent before they make their marks on Broadway, Hollywood, and around the world. Talent and production quality is top notch. Hard to think that there's a bad seat in the house. If you're within an hour of Ann Arbor, it's a great opportunity to take in great theater / musical / opera / dance events at bargain prices. (Parking is easy too, right next door at the Fletcher street garage.) Just saw "Cunning Little Vixen"; interesting story, but the costumes and staging were awesome! UM SMTD continues to hit it out of the park.
RJ Langen: Ok atmosphere is fine but I don't have any other concerns
Marc-Grégor Campredon: The stage and the seating are very well made giving are really good sense of proximity within the plays. The acoustic is not amazing but still a high standard.Seats are confortable and some what roomy. Some of the event happening there are perfect gemme. Love it a thousand.
Patrick Wiegand: Easy parking underground. You don't even need to go outside to enter the venue. Excellent acoustics
Neel Grover: The staff are very helpful
Amber Cabrejos: Lovely play and comfortable auditorium
Christine Comer: Lovely venue with wonderful staff.
Zoaib Jhalodwala: Went to go see HAIRAmazing castAmazing seatsReally comfy and massive theater

Lisa Stop: Just saw Caleb Teicher's show Swing Out. It was fantastic. Thanks for the great programming UMS.
Michael J Barnes: I was there for a UMS production. This group brings in some amazing performances from all over the world. The power center is a gorgeous facility. It's really comfortable and easy to access
Josh Burdick: Great way to back to seeing live music+drama!
Danny D: Lovely venue. Small enough to see stage well from most seats. Seats in sec 4 row H and others very wobbly. Patron next to us said they were afraid to move as they didn't seem stable. Otherwise venue and show was awesome.
