After he repaired my clock a couple months back I attempted to adjust the pendulum as the mech was losing a minute or so a week. Needless to say I buggered up the mech in my efforts and needed Johns professional help once again. John again responded to my request promptly, arrived as scheduled, and made short work of my mishap. Upon completion of the repair I anticipated another service call since the mishap was my fault; to which John replied you’re all set and didn’t charge me anything for the visit. Not only did he stand behind his work, he went above and beyond in this case!I highly recommend John for any of your floor clock needs!

Gary Behrendt: I recently had John come to my house to fix my grandfather clock that wasn't striking on the hour correctly. He took it apart, fixed what was causing the problem, cleaned and oiled everything and had it back together in just under an hour. He explained what the problem was and it's working as good as it did when I bought it 25 years ago. I am very satisfied with the time it took John to fix it and with the price he charged. I won't hesitate to call John when my clock needs oiled again or other repairs. I highly recommend John, he's very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

He replaced one of the springs that holds the weights, keeps them from falling. He Inspected, cleaned and oiled the mechanism, apparently that was needed Quite badly.I discovered one small problem after he left. The chimes were not striking the correct number of times on the 3,6 and 9 and was striking the hour at quarter past the hour. I was able to remove the minute hand and turn it a quarter turn and replace it on the shaft. Easy fix. Clock running like new. Thanks John!P.S. Very satisfied With the price.

Having visited, I can definitely understand why. It's located in a nice part of Northville and the entire shop just has a ton of charm. The staff is really friendly, and worked quickly to get the adjustments made for the watch while I was still in the shop! I was in and out in under 20 minutes, having spent less than 20 dollars, I'll count that as a double win!Overall, if you need to have work done to your Watch or Clock and you're in the area, don't hesitate to swing by this shop!
