2|42 Community Center - Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Brenda Billingsley: Very kid friendly. Indoor play area.
J Cav: I really like this facility, it's an amazing place to have so close by. Especially in the Cold months. Just like In most cases, it's the people who I could do without. Unfriendly snobs who let their kids run wild. Just prepare for turned up noses and blank stares if you're not Local. Sorry, gets old though.
M R: Staff was incredibly rude. Horrible attitudes and talked nasty about people there right in front of them. Very unprofessional especially for a church/ children play area. Will not be back
KungHao Wang: Very fun! My boy really loves it.
DeWayne Haag: Just awesome
Rachel A: I love the fact that they have an indoor playground for children for free. But it's kinda gross and pretty sure I caught the flu there. Most of the floor is made out of turf, it can't be cleaned thoroughly. There was all kinds of kids hair and other things. They don't screen the kids or parents to see if they are sick or who is exactly together.
Victor Ruzicka: Nice facility with lots of parking, very clean and functional.
Stephen Nabors: Pretty nice place for kids and families, especially for being FREE! Thanks to the 2/42 Church and its supporters for making quality and safe facilities for kids. It was our first visit but definitely won't be the last.
Candace Nabors: It was my first time at 242 visiting the indoor playground with my kids. I really enjoyed the space, layout, and overall facilities in the community center. The place is clean and well maintained. Lots of tables and chairs around to sit, chat, and/or eat snacks/packed lunches. There are high ceilings and plenty of natural light within this industrial yet modern space. Loved the clever & cool use of shipping containers to define certain areas. The playground itself was safe, clean and had ample cubbies for shoes. There is also an open area for running around or games that might need more space. Best of all, it is free to enter! I really appreciate having this be an option on rainy days and hot days. I'll definitely be back!
Olijuwan Bates: Great place to hold parties or even meetings.
Brent S: Great church
Dane Peterson: Super fun place to come on a cold Michigan day.
Maddie Rowe: Such a fun and safe place for kids to play especially in winter, we love it!!
Siamor Grey: Such a clean and playful environment here! Kids can have fun on the slides and a little play zone for toddlers.
Ed Hennessey: Covid testing site
Sharon Miles: Fun place for the kids. Very clean and free!
Pam Seiler: This playground looks really appealing but the equipment itself isn't designed very well: a lot of tall drops and spaces where little kids could climb then easily fall through. The slide is also not very high on the sides, it would be really easy for a kid to topple over while sliding down. We are not afraid of playgrounds at all and have been to much higher, expansive playgrounds that are desined well. This one simply isnt.
Ashley Kasper: I go there every Sunday
Sharonda King-Djima: Great place for the kids to play and parents to relax a little.
Rachel Hutchinson: My kids just loves this place. I highly recommend going here.
Darian Tashnick: Great place for the kids! They love it!

Jewish Community Center of Greater Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Avram Liebowitz: This is an amazing community center for Jewish people, Yalla and shalom!
Cole Nelson: The JCC is a place of learning, welcoming, togetherness, and so much more. I am so grateful for the time that I get to spend here.
jorge omar perez restrepo: Excelente 👌
Megan Selis: We love the JCC
Sam M: The event of the Ann Arbor Chabad was excellent! This type of event co-sponsorship is a great idea a d should be continued
Cheddar Bob: Absolutely stunning facility all around!
Meena Rupani: Very loving staff.
Tonjia Totten: Clean facility. Everyone is friendly and helpful.
Lisa Crammer: I both worked at the JCC and put my son in care in both the programs and camp. The care that my son received could not be matched as the programs were excellent. As an employee I was bullied by 2 women that caused many to leave in tears. One woman seemed to elicit fear in the supervisor of the daycare program. Myself and several others questioned the mental stability of these two women. The tension that they created made it necessary for me to keep my son from certain areas where these women worked.
Honey Bear: Everything I've seen at the J is so wonderful. They have a program that teaches our children what they need to know and the teachers are just oh so great. Especially one teacher named Amber, my kids absolutely love her and it's easy to see why. We love the JCC and Amber sooooo much, thank you!!!
Michal samuel: Very friendly place.
Greg Mowatt: Fantastic Jewish community center in a quiet neighborhood.

Northside Community Center: what do users think?
Sue F.: Decent food pantry location.
Rahima Shairulla: The first time went to the Northside community, they were friendly staff and polite, just show your ID and they give you 3 paper bags of food, plus the load in your car for you. Good stuff to last you until... 🧡 🧡
Stephannie Baxter: Food bank that you just pull up to and they load your car!
John Stone: So comforting to know in hard times like these we can have a place to get free food.

Renee Reilly: Such a fantastic program
Evelyn Sugden: Best food pantry in Washtenaw county
Kingdom of heaven disciple of Yahawashi: This claims to be a sanctuary City of Emigrant loving residents, so all Hispanics in catch and release come to Ann Arbor there is plenty of free food places like this ,also places for shelter that are not shelters like the peace house on Huron Street, the Robert J delonis Center gives out free cooked meals. The library is open 7 days a week in Ann Arbor if you need to get out of the cold and rain. Also mr. roof is a company that hires illegal immigrants and undocumented immigrants. If you can speak Spanish you will be a crew leader for a roof crew of non-Spanish speaking immigrants. Just Google mr. roof in Ann Arbor he's hiring right now. Last I checked he was paying 8 to $12 a square. When you get here go to the welfare office called DHS ask for an urban Survival Guide of Washtenaw County, this is a book of free clothes ,free food ,Free Housing, even free money, but call the place first because the times and dates of giveaways change from day-to-day and year-to-year😎.Peace amigo!
Willie Simmons: If you don't have a lot of food to eat in the middle of the month. Go to the Northside food banks they'll take good care of you. Until you get your next paycheck or whatever. I give them for thumbs up. It's like shopping at a grocery store but everything's free. Big thumbs up to Derek the director.

University of Michigan Northwood Community Center: what do users think?
Harihar Mohan: If you wanna hear what your neighbors are up to, Northwood I definitely is the place. Walls and floors are paper thin with no sound proofing whatsoever, heat breaks down constantly, no air conditioning and an insane amount of insects and bugs that end up on your bed. The only silver lining was the price but even that is now starting to disappear.
Autumn Sager: Great services
Chris Sanjurjo: This is an amazing community center with many activities for residents of the Northwood community. You can enjoy a game of ping pong, watch TV, go to one of the private study rooms, print papers, play video games etc.The center also provides board games that can be rented — very continent when you are trying to entertain guest. The Northwood community center also let’s you reserve space for community events or family gatherings. Overall, I enjoy the Northwood community center and appreciate the staff members emphasis on creating an inclusive fun atmosphere.
William Black: Adequate
rahul mannan: Probably the best place to bring in friends, families and kids under one roof. Be it a birthday party, family get together or a function.. this is the place to be in.It offers not only ample space but also indoor activities and board games to engross kids and adults too if you find the things are a little slow for your liking in the get together. More details about how to book space on Northwood Housing page.
Breanne Vance: Fun activities for people who live at northwood.
Pratama Suprayogi: Cheap venue rent rate. Only for NW community though..
John Eitel: The best ever.
Edwin Escabillas: Great place for getting information
Checkered Flag Interactive Media: Northwoods Apartments are definitely overpriced for the quality they are. UM built them about 60 years ago intending for only about 50 years of use, yet here we are.The grounds are not kept up very well and the buldings are old which makes efficiency low and standards low too.
Surya Raghavendran: Fantastic staff and great environment
EKK: A great place for the residents. There is a information desk to ask any questions you might have about the facility. Very inexpensive to rent for gathering.. birthday party, study club and etc.
Arushi Varshney: Very helpful staff
Mishal C: Clean, big, and comfortable. There are many things to do such as ping pong and video games and the staff are very nice.
