Michaels: what do users think?
Jada: Always such a friendly staff :)
Madeline: good selection and clean store
Joshua Brainard: It's a big store so it's good that the staff is so helpful
Teresa Reynhout: Always lots of fun craft supplies here.
Je'Naiya Tims: Staff at this Micheals are so helpful. Helped me with everything I needed.
Calisa Reid: Hard to get help
S Fez: Great store, very friendly helpful staff.
Shawn Gillikin: Helpful and fully stocked. Easy to return items.
Phoebe Phoenix: Employees were hard to find. Had to go to another store.
T.H.: My go-to place for craft supplies.
April Cornish: Our Canadian stores do not offer the volume of stuff American stores offer. My goodness, it was crafting overload!! I couldn't believe the different stuff available here. Cricut stuff was 50% off! There isn't a store back home that would ever offer 50% off. LOLSuper nice staff too.
hong le: Like
Neha: Best place to get stuff related art and DIY decor.
Callum Brown: It was hiding down on a lower shelf. The right size, last one, absolutely perfect!!!!!!! I was ecstatic & overjoyed!!!!!
Chris Donoghue: Excellent customer service, slight lack of variety in inventory
Holly Schoenfield: This Michaels location is having some issues.Prices aren't displayed for most items, so you have to find the scanner to learn how much you'll be paying for each time.In an attempt to get clear pricing, I submitted an order online for in-store pickup and they canceled the entire order of 21 items because one item wasn't available.
Terrance W. Hinton: If you're not careful, this place will open all of your creative ideas and possibilities. Then b4 you know it, you've spent a lot of money because of everything that can make life more exciting and wonderful. 👍🏿👍🏿😎
Marcus Clark: The customer service reps are nice but the store is a bit unorganized, under stocked and missing price-tags in a lot of its sections, which in turn made me feel a bit discouraged to shop
Megan East: Clean store. Well stocked. Helpful staff in the store and at register.
Marianne Collier: I forgot, I did go there! Sorry! Excellent! The one young lady asked if I had found everything. I said no & described what I was looking for. She called up front, & then showed me an area that I might find it. & I DID!!! It was hiding down on a lower shelf. The right size, last one, absolutely perfect!!!!!!! I was ecstatic & overjoyed!!!!!
Matthew Reed: Nice to have a place to get craft supplies, but the quality is questionable at best and the store is a bit of a mess

JOANN Fabric and Crafts: what do users think?
BT LEO: Beware of the ponytail gal she'll tell you donate to the charity and you can get 40% off your fabric but the reality is it was already on sale and she just lied about it to get donation... She literally said if you donate any money I will give you 40% off so management should probably have a chat with her about that...other than that I really like this store
Kate: The workers are very nice and helpful, it's easy to find the things you're looking for and there are many options of fabric to choose from. Overall a great place for crafts and sewing projects!
Samantha Wilkerson: Rude staff ordered a online pick up just a hot glie gun and some glue sticks. They canceled the hot glue gun and gave me the sticks. Was told the gun was out of stock. Ordered the same gun in a different order same day 5 minutes after I picked up the first. Lazy rude staff will be going to canton or Jackson or hobby lobby
Cupid Valentine: I love this store , they have great selections and most of the employees are really awesome. I would give this store five stars but there are..some employees in the store I have issues with. While I was shopping I overheard one of the mangers (Threasa) yelling at an employee on the sales floor. Just ripping into the poor kid and being really nasty. I haven't really stopped in since.i usually like this store alot better because the staff are way nicer than at ypsilanti and it's a smaller store which helps with my anxiety. But after hearing that women just be well... not so nice to her staff. I don't know if I'll shop there while she's in the store.Props to the rest of the employees though. Good luck!!
Marty Murray: I asked if they could cut 5 yards of material at 1 yard increments, I was told no they could only cut it at 5 yards. The reasoning for this is because i cant cut a straight line to save my life, but I figured I had no choice, even bought a $25 dollar set of scissors to give it a try. I messed it all up cutting it to short and wasted $75 in material. Come to find out amazon will cut it this way for and are cheaper. Lesson learned
Cindy Ziegler: Great staff
Marilynn Thomas: Great selection of fabric. Craft section not so much.
Lily Lee: Love this store! Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of craft ideas and supplies plus home decor.
Mark Erichson: It's what I expected; had been there before. Selection of the craft products I came in for was decent, not great. More are available on their website, but I pretty much needed to see them in person. A happy surprise was that they were on a good sale. Not many staff, but the two I tracked down were friendly and helpful. Store was nicely organized, fairly well stocked.
Chris Poindexter: Nice selection of crafts. Staff are friendly.
Amber Music: The staff have always been very kind. The store is clean, well organized, and has everything you think a joanns would have.
Vicky Blanshard: Excellent service as always
Courtney e: Slow service and Workers we’re moody while on call.
Avram Liebowitz: All the crafting supplies you'll need
Tochair (C): Not the greatest store, okay for what you mostly need, lacking things like wood stain
Morgan Hughes: Decent selection for a smaller store
Jennifer Harlow: Employees are very sweet
Justin P: The staff are absolutely incompetent, rude and disorganized. Improper instructions on handling of items
Stephanie Benedict: Always clean and organized. The staff is friendly and always helpful. One of my favorite places to shop!
Matthew Quemada: Neat and clean. Had what we were looking for.
J Foxx: Well they always seem to have what we are looking for in stock. Their staff is friendly and really helpful!

SCRAP Creative Reuse: what do users think?
Lex: Absolutely lovely. Great place to find all sorts of random bits and bobs for art projects, costumes, or making handouts for ttrpgs. Will definitely be coming back!
Linda Claire Groshans: I love the creative energy and sample projects. Friendly staff!
Melissa Perez: When I picture my "happy place," this is it. I've spent many hours shopping here and then even more volunteering! It's so fun here, and there is always something fresh and unique! My favorite part is that once I don't need materials I've bought anymore, I can bring them here to keep them in the reuse ecosystem!
Bianca Hart: Large selection and premade kits. Fun for a random day of crafting or a particular project
Marissa Schoffner: Absolutely amazing experience! I wish I would’ve found out about this place sooner. The prices are great and I literally got a bookmark set, 64 pack of crayons, 10 pack of markers and 20 colored pencils for about $6. They have a lot of variety including yarn, glasses, vinyls, bookmarks, school supplies such as mechanical pencils, calculators, binders, etc. as well as magazines, thread and so much more. The customer service was also great as well. The staff was very kind and the store has flags for BLM and LGBT!All in all, an easy 5 stars and I will definitely be back soon. Thank you guys so much!
Briana “Bri” Carpenter: Have gone here since I was small and it was located off of S. State. My kids love it for school projects and/or rainy day fun. Such a unique re-use shop!
S Kennedy: Nonprofit artistic reuse center! Whatever you might want - records, colored pencils, stamps, plastic gems, fabric, picture frames, paper - they have everything and more. They just opened up a classroom for drop-in crafting, which looks pretty cool.
Mylah Morris: Went here last week, very cool store!! I got some National Geographic magazine’s, beads, jewelry wire, and necklace chain for less than $5! It was surprisingly organized for the amount of stuff in it. Somethings felt a little cluttered, like two giant barrels of pill bottles?? And mismatched jars & containers? I’ll definitely be going back to see what’s new!!
Katherine Opsommer: A wide range of arts and crafts materials that is consistently being updated
Audrey Mills: Check Facebook or call before going. All apps say 10a. Store signs say 10a. Facebook says 11a. Good source for material. Good prices.
Ray Merz: I'm not sure I can say anything that hasn't been said already, but I love Scrap! I've been going here for years (and previously to the old location, but the new one was much more convenient during my college years, so thank you), and have never had a bad experience. The total at checkout is always less than you expect, and you're supporting a phenomenal cause!A few tips to enhance your shopping experience:1) Budget WAY more time than you'd think, you can browse for hours in here2) Bring your own bags or containers to sort through and gather your items. Lots of things are kept in large barrels, and this makes it a lot easier to sort to the bottom3) Bring light work gloves if you have texture/sensory needs. Again, large barrels, and so many things to touch! As a parting note, I've never had a bad experience with the online store either! Whoever Sean is, they curate fabric bundles that cater exactly to my taste.
Carrie Grindle: We drove from Toledo to here twice.. and they were not open both times we were here. Although Facebook says they would be open, and there’s no update on Facebook saying they are closed. We are disappointed once again, and wasted a lot of gas. We decided someone else our business.
Grace S: This store is so fantastic. Not just for what they sell but how they have the shop set up. This may be niche, but I have minor motor issues where bending over or crouching down can be harsh on my back. This store has everything in individual shoe bins that can be taken off the shelf and set on top of the shelf, which means I can keep standing and not worry about falling over or hurting.Anyways just it's such a nice store, you can get a lot of stuff really inexpensively. And when your hobby can involve hundreds of dollars, it's nice to know that you can also check out what the thrift store has and not spend quite so much but get the same stuff you need ^^
AUBREY Veylupek: I love this store a lot!! Even if you just looking around its fun and you never know what you’ll find. Very cheap love it, but do wish it was easier to donate.
nicole deidun: Great place to donate or shop for craft supplies!
Christine Easley: Organized well. Lots of treasure finds!
Betsy J: Went here to drop of a bunch of paper crafting supplies. And I walked out purchasing rare stamp/dies set at super cheap! (Saw the set online for at lease $20-40)
KYLIE’Z WORLD: This is a craft paradise!! You can find ANYTHING for your craft project!! You can even find crafts to do that you never thought about doing!! This is a diamond in the rough!! You can also clean out your current craft room and donate to SCRAP!! I highly recommend stopping by for some fun!! Also, it cost me much less than a craft store!! The people are friendly and if you want you could help out and volunteer there!!
Joan Styles: Very helpful
Jennifer Wein: It's great to see that this place exists! Their displays are very well organized - it's like being in a tourist or standard craft store. I hope that many people will take advantage of it!
Nicole Pumarada: This store is a budget crafter's paradise. They have tons of supplies that you would normally only be able to buy in bulk, like buttons, fabric swatches, string, stickers, paper, (and more) and a treasure trove of jewelry sold by the ounce. I got all the things in the photo for less than $2 total. So cheap! It doesn't even seem fair. But I'll be donating some of my own jewelry back, so it evens out 😁 (Note, it can be hard to find earrings with pairs, but that's fine by me cuz I can use them as necklaces or for making hair clips or wear them asymmetrically!) They also have larger items like glue guns, trophies, baskets, bottles, and a bunch of other random things. My friend bought a lap harp last time we were there. It's such an adventure. And it's really nice to know that there is a place where I can take my random "junk" that I decide I don't have a purpose for so that it won't go to waste. It might be exactly what someone else needs to complete their project. How fun!

Pinspiration Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Jamie Pickering: Very unfriendly service. No warning of paintings being wet. Would not recommend.
Julie Kerns: Such a fun place! Can't wait to come back!
Alison Johnston: We had a birthday party for 11-yr old, and it was incredibly FUN! There were 10 kids (8 -11 yrs) and Carol had the time planned perfectly...1/2 in the splatter paint room and 1/2 making their individual ink tile projects, then switched. Pizza and cake and presents to round out the time. THEY LOVED IT! The shop is so interesting...it makes everyone want to get creative. Kids proudly took home their art. :)
Elizabeth Harris: Dumbest thing to do ever! Investing in pet rocks made more sense than this garbage....don't waste your money nor time.
Tristan Ross: I loved the place a lot. Staff were nice. I liked the music selection
Ely B.: Came in twice with friends for painting and candle making, both times we had a grand time!!
CJ Williams: This was a quick and fun activity to do with my son. The studio was clean and cute! It took longer to get there than it did to splatter. I liked that we could hook our music up to the Bluetooth while we were in the room, too!
Rachelle Klein: Amazing place! Wonderful staff! Lots to do! First time visitor for a Birthday party. I would definitely recommend.
Candy “Wellgoodmorning” W.s: Such an amazing place. So many crafts & art projects. The aesthetics and decor is sooo cool. Perfect for date night, girls trip, field trips, birthday parties and more. We did the splatter room with added glow in the dark feature. Nice touch!
Edward Young: Fun experience 😁
Caitlin M: It's a pretty new business, so there is room for improvement. Make sure to clear your schedule, as there is only one person to explain the process and get you started. We were told that everything on display was a craft we could choose to make, which wasn't quite true (I just happened to express interest in two different things that turned out to be either "decoration" or just merchandise for sale). We chose to make candles, which seemed like a fun craft. However, despite putting in what seemed like way too much scented oil, our candles just smelled like this awful buttery smell. The wood wick isn't really a wick, therefore the candle doesn't function. There's a lot of potential for the business and I understand there are kinks to work out along the way. But I would not personally want to go back until the experience is more organized, more efficient, and more guided for complex crafts like candle making.
Olivia Reale: The entire experience was very pleasant. Carol was very sweet and the environment was relaxed and cute. They were very encouraging and it was a good place to be creative and for those of us in my group who don’t typically consider ourselves to be creative, we could make pieces that we were proud of and had fun making them!
Samantha kregger: Went for my 28th birthday and had a blast! We had the private room and had a smores bar and cake. Carol was so nice and accommodating. I would definatly go back again.
Anthony “Angry Tony” Reale: Carol was so nice and accommodating. She made our party so nice and comfortable with fun and interesting crafts. I will definitely do this again.
Logan Reale: We had so much fun at our birthday party! Carol did an excellent job planning and decorating! She was so accommodating and our entire group of 13 had so much fun splatter and tile painting. The communication flowed seamlessly throughout the entire planning experience. 10/10 will definitely do this again.
Willow Will: My family and I had a great time. Thanks.
Misty Butts: Had an amazing time for my Anniversary. We absolutely had a blast. Clean, friendly, and energetic. Can't wait for next time, lots of fun and different things to do.
J.W: We had a fantastic time. The owners are informative and very patient.
Rebecca Duguay: I surprised my husband with a date night to start his birthday weekend. We had reservations in the splatter room! We had so much fun!!! 10/10 would go again!!!

Spun: what do users think?
Li Algernon: Staff is super friendly and helpful, and they have really good quality products. Always have had good experiences here.
Kathy Nash: such a helpful shop and great customer service!... I was looking for a couple of skeins of Nua Worsted in a specific dye lot. Sent an email to the shop late sunday night...they answered me later that night! with a YES.... I did not see it until early monday morning. called before they opened and they answered the phone... got my questions answered... ordered the yarn. It was shipped that day and I received it 2 days later...It does not get better than this!!thank you so much..great work... will definitely be coming back.
Thomas Deren: My favorite craft store! Such a fun and artistic space, knowledgeable staff, lots of classes and demos, and a wealth of supplies, patterns, and accessories all wrapped up with a cute aesthetic! Now in an even bigger and better space too!
Melanie Jones: I loved shopping in person at Spun and still do when I make it back to MI. They're also fantastic for online shopping too. They have a great selection of yarn and other items and will answer any of your questions.
Sandra Renee: Nice variety and helpful staff. Prices are expensive, but that's pretty typical for specialty yarn.
JuliAnne Diesch: Exquisite local yarn store - well-stocked and organized. They offer yarn winding services, a customer loyalty program, and an array of classes. These often fill quickly, so sign up for their newsletter to be notified of events!
Michael Zhu Chen: Spun is such a wonderful place! The staff are super welcoming and friendly and really attentive to the needs of their customers. They even have locally sourced Michigan yarn donated by local sheep. Make sure to ask Laura if you have any questions, she's great! The place to go to find yarn to meet any yearning!
Red Dabbler: Best yarn shop around! Great people and great selections!
Jason Shuherk: Big store stocked up for the yarn lover! My wife NEVER leaves empty handed.
Alicia Gregov: I am so jealous we don't have a yarn shop like this in STL! The yarn selection is amazing as is the tools and goodies selection but the help I got from 2 different ladies was wonderful! I loved visiting and will definitely be back!
Anna: This is my favorite yarn store! All of the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a lot of questions about which interchangeable knitting needles would be the best fit for me, and an employee here walked me through the process of choosing the right set.
Jean Holt: Beautiful location! Not crowded at all! And the variety of yarn and other fiber crafts is incredible! I love Spun!
irishrozes: I LOVED this store! The women who work there were so much help in choosing the right yarn for my project and giving me tips! The store itself is well stocked and orderly with all types of yarn and notions. Highly recommend a trip here!
Judith Wismont: Lovely yarn, albeit a tad pricey. Experienced employees to inform and guide. :)
Kate S: Great selection, fantastic staff!
Ashley Huizinga: This place is so great! It’s one of the best yarn shops I have been to. The ladies were so helpful, the selection of yarns, materials, and books is extensive. Everyone was so willing to help me and I am so grateful as I am a new-ish knitter. I would love to have a shop like this in Tampa!
Linda Dayne: My new go-to place to get all my knitting supplies. So helpful & courteous with workers that go out of their way to offer suggestions. Not pushy, just helpful!
Lissa: Helpful staff. Also has felting, spinning and weaving supplies.
Stephanie Benedict: Beautiful store with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Hazel Bodner: The yarn collection here is vast! Lots of choices. And the entire store is sorted by yarn weight. Helpful staff answered all my questions. There are garments made up with the yarns, which helps illustrate what the yarn can do. There are a couple of areas to sit and knit too. I always stop here when in town visiting.
Kay Varosi: Charming decor, relaxing and pleasing. With clearly labeled rows of yarn and fiber products. Very helpful staff.
