Charles Confar: In March of 2019 my wife and I contacted Stacy Jacob at Creative Windows in Ann Arbor, MI to ask for help in finding vertical blinds for our tall south facing Trapezoid windows.Before talking with Stacy it seemed that most of our options were very pricey. We did not want or need fancy motorized systems or remote controls. We just needed good hand-operated mechanical controls that allow us to adjust the amount of sunlight entering the south side of our house.A few months ago, about one year from the installation date, I attempted to adjust one vinyl-blade that was not hanging parallel to the others. When I tried to correct the blind, I wound up knocking a few off their hooks while messing up others. Because these windows reach 16 feet high, there’s no way I’m going to reach the top of the windows to re-hook the blinds.It’s taken a few months because of the restrictions caused by the coronavirus, but Dustin Maxam, Installation Coordinator was finally able to allow DonManiaci and Steven Person to make the trip to Jackson to reconfigure our tall blinds.As you can see by the pictures, these elevated trapezoidal windows were a challenge to both install and adjust correctly.Commitment to offering good customer service was demonstrated when we asked Creative Windows this past March to come back out with all their scaffolding equipment to readjust our blinds. Not only did Don and Stephen do a great job, Dustin was very helpful in coordinating the installation and subsequent readjustment. Early on Stacy too did a wonderful job showing us the various blinds we had to choose from. Our living room area now stays much cooler on sunny days as well as allowing me to watch TV.Creative Windows installed great blinds at very reasonable price.
