Maize and Blue Delicatessen: what do users think?
Crystal Gaskell: Amazing selection, great service, and DELICIOUS food!
Katherine Livingston: Amazingly awesome corned beef on pumpernickel!! Highly recommended
Sarah Keethler: Super great melt! Got the 71. Club and redskin potato salad, seemed like a local favorite and it was definitely a treat for us visiting so friends in Ann Arbor.
Alexander H. Trice: A cwassic
Carter Starr (Carter Starr): Pretty solid sandwich. Prices are comparable to other places in the area, maybe a bit cheaper- certainly a lot cheaper than zingermans and pretty comparable in taste.
Rick Vanhorn: Sub was good. Placing an order with sucks.
brandon stuart: Try this place out. Great sandwiches and friendly staff
Nick Hilden: Very nice employees. But the corned beef was not soft. You had to tear at it with your teeth to eat it. Like cheap super market corned beef. And seriously, for $15 for one sandwich without fries, the corned beef should be butter soft like the Jewish delicatessens in Oak Park or NYC. This was half a sandwich in the garbage cause the meat was just not done right.
Soohie Coco: sandwich was good overall but for bacon to cost $3, same as the meat, there is not where near enough. pickles were gross tasted old and stale. the guy who made my food was great but the other guy working was rude for no reason
Leann M: Love the food and service! Customer for over a decade!
Kimberly Napier: Very tasty sandwich!
Kelli T: Went to Maze and Blue on a Sunday with our kids and we all thought the sandwiches were delicious! The guys working we’re SO kind and we will definitely be back!
Leticia Gonzalez: Great customer service!! Food is amazing, I highly recommend. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. Prices are reasonable. Best sandwich place in all of downtown Ann Arbor.
Angela: A very simple setup but the customer service and food are both excellent. 👌🏼 One of the biggest sandwiches I’ve ever been served!
Mohammad Alkayed: Sooooo goooooood
Vivien Li: My favorite local deli in Ann Arbor. The staff is so friendly, they always deliver on time, great communication. The sandwiches are mouthwatering, packed with a giant portion or meat, and all super customizable.
Kay Thompson: Small inside, had about 6 tables. Order on a computer screen. Corned beef sandwich was $15 plus. Looks like mostly to go orders. Most customers were students.
M Bars: If you’re in Ann Arbor this is not the place for a Reuben. What’s best on the Menu is Sherry’s Chicken Cutlet. The breaded chicken was juicy on the inside crunchy on the outside with lettuce, tomato, bacon, Swiss, and Russian dressing. Definitely my go to chicken sandwich in AA.
Samantha Tran: Been here many times and each time hits the spot! Get the Mimi's Beginning! This is much more affordable than zingerman's
Scott Nelson: Can’t beat a Georgia Rueben from Maize & Blue Deli!
Casey Doyle: Great little place but tons of options, kind of overwhelming. Very good sandwiches and very filling for great price.

Amer's Delicatessen: what do users think?
Cora Frederick: Amazing sandwiches, great variety, every bite here is delicious.
t f: Amers was our introduction to acai bowls when we were at u of m hospital for our first pregnancy. We were instantly hooked and got it almost every day. Since then, we have tried acai bowls from numerous places, and nothing has come remotely close to amers. Aside from the bowls, everything else we got from drinks to sandwiches has been nothing short of spectacular. I highly recommend amers to anyone who is in town. You might even catch amer himself. He is passionate about his craft and a great guy, and it reflects in his food.
Becca H: Large menu of sandwiches, salads, and some breakfast options! They also have frozen yogurt and acai bowls. However, I don’t get their bowls anymore. Since they prep the acai before you order, it’s icy (sometimes frozen!!) and not smooth when you get the bowl. Still 4 stars, because their deli items are great.
John Hopkins: Best sandwiches hands down.
Joseph Cohoon: This place has such a large variety, whatever you are in the mood for, they have you covered!
Martina Landolt: Wow! What an variety of sandwiches, salads and more to choose from. It takes about 20 minutes to read the chalk menus listed above the staff. Each one has a name purposefully placed there. I found both my sons names there & a middle name! Neat! Very tasty food and generous portions. Right in Michigan university zone. Came for a college tour and located this amazing place to eat! You won’t be disappointed! A bit Pricy, but worth it.
Brad Zalewski: Awesome sandwiches!
WestWay Wendy T: Menu is huge but service is slow and food is average. On a Sunday afternoon we waited 25 minutes for our food. There were only a handful of people eating and 4-5 people working, so I’m not sure what the hold up was. The salads we ordered were average - lots of iceberg lettuce and basic ingredients. With as many restaurants as there are in Ann Arbor, I don’t see myself going back here.
Jason woodruff: Amer has the best sandwiches and chili cheese fries. There's so many sandwiches to choose from but a couple of my favorites are the Reuben the bacon dozen and the Herman
A Billings: My family loves the Acai bowls best ones we've ever had. Staff and owner are great, always super helpful and friendly.
Laura: Regular
Kevin Sedlmeyer: By far the best turkey Rueben in Ann Arbor!! I don’t know where they get their Russian dressing from, or if it’s made in house, but it’s fantastic!!
Aaron Griffin: great food, great environment, awesome staff.
Debra Spatafore: Good food, good service.
kevin spangler: The staff is amazing
Ben Sachhez: When they get busy they neglect carryouts HARD. Don't order carryouts or delivery from this place
Sean Daly: Waited over an hour for a terrible sandwich. It seems like they have no idea what they're doing....complete chaos in there.
Deren Güzel Tekçe: The food is good but the service is terrible. Be less stingy and hire some people on weekends. They wait time for a sandwich is 20 mins on a good day, an hour if ur unlucky enough to come here on a sunday morning.
Charles Carlson: Food is awesome
Hailey Chaconas: Best crepes in town!!
Ben O'Brien: Edit 2022: place has gone massively downhill, long wait, bad service and they got my order completely wrong. Sad.Awesome pastrami. Better prices + location than zingermans

Dimo's Deli & Donuts: what do users think?
MC: Great sandwiches and big portions.
Ricky Conner: The BEST 👌🏾
Danielle Dianda: Best sandwich I've ever had!
Cameron Seelinger: I used to know Dimo he was a demon in the kitchen! The burgers are okay but Appa could have made em better with a little cream and milk. dimo my man gg gucci er er fam
Kendy Laracuente: It's a place you must visit. Donuts are amazing, sandwiches and burgers are to die for. The staff is fast and friendly enough. Definitely give them a try!
Artem: The donuts are amazing, and they offered a free water
Martin Shameti: Pit stop for donuts at 6AM.The to-go bread is similar to a Kroger generic brand whole wheat squishy American-style bread but saltier. More like an American breakfast diner toast. The breakfast bagels are okay but still are way better than Barry’s Bagel’s microwaved eggels. The egg cheese and Canadian bacon bagel tasted mostly of affordable restaurant food ingredients and cooking oil.It did not smell that good but still a decent sandwich.
Rose Sproat: french toast was good! the people working are charismatic haha
Christian Bauer: Great food and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Mike Smalley: This place is the BOMB! Drove from Cleveland, OH to give it a try after hearing so much about it. I was NOT disappointed! The apple fritters are the best anywhere!
Denene Smith: Love it!
Kevin: Customer service is top notch. Food is amazing.
Suzette Wanninkhof: Emma said it best. The egg sandwiches and apple fritters are amazing!
Claire Minneboo: I just keep coming back. Food is amazing. Staff is a lot of fun.
S.U. Global Transport: Dimos is the place to be! Love this place.
M Bars: I get yelled at here more than I do at home. This owner’s service will toughen you up and prepare you for war. Best honeybun in town.
Ashton Fetters: Wasn't bad but wasn't fantastics either!
ibtisam alyaqoobi: Terrible experience. Stay away! The owner needs to be committed to a mental health hospital.
Mark Crooks: Great food. & owner is AWESOME!! Just like a movie, all entertainment there !
Nat U: simply scrumdiddlyumptious
Casey Doyle: Great small place, good bagels and great donuts!

Ahmo's Gyros & Deli: what do users think?
AR M: Some of the folks here are the rudest people I have ever come across. They handed over my food to someone else. When I asked for my food, the guy behind the counter said it was my fault!Food: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
James Rush: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommendation for vegetarians Somewhat recommendMore
Bak Lava: One of the stuff is the worst person I have ever met on campus. Still can’t believe that he yelled at me and the place still seems scary days after. I will NEVER go there again.
Nikhil Kanamarla: Food was better quality sometimes than nearby Panda Express but also much more variable. Lunchtime double garlic chicken gyro with the fries and drink is awesome but I noticed it has gotten somewhat worse. Also sometimes the staff will make you buy from the kiosks rather than taking your order (can’t use M card) due to poor staffing. Order wait times can also be long similar to the line wait times at Panda Express. It’s only in business because of location tbh. Owner is also quite rude and just damn loud. I feel like I am junior chef in one of those busy kitchen scenes in a movie of the 2000s.
Mitchell Reinitz: Quality of this place continues to go down. Gyros are now made with very processed looking meat.
Christine Cho: I used to find the food okay here. However, the owner/boss/manager is extremely rude.He randomly and loudly accused my friend of stealing the wrong order as we were walking out, and did not even listen to what we had to say. First of all, it is extremely strange to yell at a customer as they are walking out for stealing someone else’s order, when he could have walked up to our table while we were eating (we were there for a good while, he had time) and see the evidence for himself whether or not the wrong order was taken. Second, his tone was extremely rude and off-putting, and he did not even listen to what we had to say or any evidence my friend could have shown him. Even if a customer had taken the wrong order, it is just not right to shout at someone like that. And he actually even physically handed her the order in the first place!Even though I used to enjoy the food here, I do not feel comfortable eating here anymore because of this experience. Even if the food at a place is the greatest on the planet, having a rude attitude like that is going to drive away customers.
Qinghong Xie: I took the correct order at Ahmos located in the Duderstadt, however got yelled at for taking the wrong order by the chef. I have a receipt and a witness to prove that I did order the lamb gyro and not a burger. However, the chef yelled at me and accused me of taking a burger when I took the lamb gyro. The chef also physically handed me the order, so there was no possibility that I took the wrong order. Chef was very impolite and rude to yell at customer while the customer was leaving. Please do not eat here, a place where customers are treated this rudely is not worthy of any business. My friend and I will happily never eat here again.
David Xu: Very rude stuff. Slow cooking. Never come back! Panda is a better choice with friendly people.
Amirali Danai: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Graham Fitkin: Best place on north campus to eat, and the employees there always make my day better.
Yuzhe Ruan: Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5More
Stephen West: Food is delicious; the people who make the food are friendly and approachable. It's a nice place to get away for a few minutes and just sit down and enjoy a good meal. I personally enjoy the soup and bread as a complete lunch many times.
Dhroov Patel: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Mark Reddock: Great Food, great Service
Sajjad Ali Khan: Always enjoy getting a sandwich/wrap from Ahmos coming back from classes. Little pricey for lunch, but it's worth it for the great taste and convenient location. Halal options (chicken sandwiches/wraps) are clearly labeled and really good. I would recommend the chicken shawarma sandwich.Dietary restrictions: Halal options
Michael bale: Ate food immediately after recieving and was meat was barely warm... tasted okay but nothing spectacular
floyd matzke: Great
Hava Liebowitz: Quality continues to decrease. I used to eat here often because I work late in north campus but their menu descriptions are often off in ways that are unappetizing. I just got a gyro that was filled with a bunch of red pepper flakes instead of hot sauce and salad. Staff are really nice but seems like they either don't know how to make their menu items or just use whatever they can find. I won't be eating here again.
Jiawen Zhang (Robin): Services sucks. Long wait, but order is missedDine in: Yes …More
Lauren Lampar: Paid $14 for a chicken wrap, can of pop, and waffle fries. Nothing was made fresh, I didn't hear the fryers or anything. The chicken was gray and the fries were overcooked, too hard to eat and absolutely coated with salt. Got sick later. Don't go to this location.
Kliment Milanov: Buy their lentil soup, enough said.Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes Delivery: No Curbside pickup: No …More

DiBella's Subs: what do users think?
Ryan R: Great catering for our lunch meetingFood: 4/5Recommended dishes Boxed Lunches …More
Jonathan Sanford: Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes Curbside pickup: YesMore
Dacia Munteanu: Subs were decent but it took FOREVER to receive my food. I ordered the subs online almost 25 mins before coming to pick them up. When I arrived, they weren’t ready. I waited a bit longer to see if they would make them but the staff kept taking peoples’ orders that were walking in instead of making our subs. It took them over an HOUR to give us our subs…. When people walking in got them within minutes of ordering. Either make the online orders or shut down online ordering because this is unacceptable.
Nathan: Nice food, and also the place just got burnt down pretty much so that sucks
Mark Hanss: *Updated from a 5-star specifically for the app ordering experience.*New review: $3.99 ($4🙄) delivery fee $1.40 service charge so an extra $5.39 that doesn't go to the driver? Minimum delivery fee, I get, even a required tip (as it's legally required to be given to the driver) I would support. This is outrageous. Like the Ticketmaster of subs. Add that on to the "service" (the app) being a massive inconvenience, glitching and crashing all the time, failing to add rewards, and having to restart orders from scratch. I have never had an app experience go smoothly, and that continues with the recent update.Previous review: Half an hour is a long wait for a sub shop, but it was lunch rush and it's always bad at the best spots. My sub was near perfect. Bread was fresh, well baked, and delicious. Ingredients all good, tomatoes could be a bit higher quality. Polite and expedient service.
John Webb: Great quality subs, great service. So tasty
jfrey1: I've experienced some minor service issues at this location since the pandemic started, but they always seem to try their best, even when short staffed. I went today, and the whole experience was A+. I was acknowledged soon after I entered the shop. Ordering and cashing out was quick, and the sandwich was delicious. The quality of the food has never wavered for me. I'd encourage anyone to support this place and give it a try, because I think they're the best sub shop I've been to. If anyone has had a better sub in the area, I'd love to hear it!
Greg Buck: How does this place stay in biz?? HS habits ...hard to break....
Jay Mellinger: Last time I ordered from here, I got food poisoning.
Greg Bottiglieri: Was in line for 30 minutes to even order then took another 30 min to get 4 subs. Saff does not acknowledge anyone in line or work quickly to fulfill orders . Need better management. Terrible that we paid almost 80 dollars for food and it takes hour and a half to eat .
Angela Ivey: Very disappointed. I called to place a catering order for a client (as we do every year) and was promptly cut off mid-sentence by a rude employee who said they "aren't doing that right now." I told her that I didn't need it until next week and she said that it doesn't matter as they are not doing catering orders at all. Would you rather me come and order 10 subs at once, unannounced? Not only does this not make any sense but also seems like a strange business move, given it is the holidays and I am likely not the only person who would have wanted to order a tray of subs and cookies.
Joey B: I liked DiBellas because they were a better quality than a lot of other sub places. The thing is, DiBellas has gone down hill, at least this location. I started ordering on Doordash & they were always missing ingredients. I decided to go in person recently to make sure they didn’t miss any ingredients and somehow they still missed some of the items I ordered on my sub…also the bacon is always fatty and chewy, definitely not worth the up charge! I can’t give this place any more of my money.
Jonathan Liabenow: Food is good, but it always takes forever to even be acknowledged. Management doesn't provide a good example because even they ignore their customers. They have always been like this, even before the pandemic caused staffing shortages. The food isn't worth having to deal with extremely poor customer service.
Laura Rudd: My 1st time here and will not be my last! Turkey sub was delicious and the crew were very fast and polite.
Bojinks: Second time trying this place, now after getting an italian sub with mustard on it i won't be back, what an insult to every sub shop in America and the Italian sub sandwich.
Christine Cisneros: Uncle Louie knew how to build a sandwich and so does DiBella's Subs. It starts with the bread. The meats and the veggies are top quality and definitely try their house dressing.
Scott Guajardo: I LOVE Dibella's Fast and courteous service, and no fuss what so ever.
Jordan Scott: Working extremely hard despite the understaffing. Very apologetic but still managed to make some delicious food. Impressive service despite the challenges.
Xintong Deng (Dylan): I was a big fan of this place before. Their subs are nice and tasty. But last time I tried to order a sub, I was left their for a good 10 minutes without anybody asking me what to order. When I approach to one of the employee and ask if he can take, the only reply I got is he is busy and ask me to look for other employees to order. I gave up and went to the Whole Food Market next door, and probably not going back again.
Jules Van Dyck-Dobos: Very impressed by the subs and salads, great cookies and excellent "Famous Oil"!Even more: the service is exceptional. Brian and Jamey did everything to explain to is first time customers the intricate ordering process, spoiled us with attention and care. Will definitely be a "regular"!Chef Jules, AA
Tony F: Stopped in tonight on my way home since I wanted something quick and filling. Okay I admit I eat here whenever I can. Walked in at 8pm (they close at 10pm) and there weren’t any customers dinning in. The first thing I heard was workers in the back joking to each other that they should come out and tell me they are closed. Then a young man came out and started to help. He wasn’t too bad, but could tell he didn’t want to be there. While making my sub he asked me to go down to the register which was normal. Once I got down there and waited a minute or two a dark haired kid came out licking, no actually he was slurping his fingers as I could tell I pissed him off for interrupting his meal. In a very unprofessional manner asked me what I ordered. I told him that I got a full size godfather and he rolled his eyes and said stick your card it. Then the register froze up. When a short lady worker walked out she said “maybe we should have just closed” in a snarky tone. After they figured it out and I paid I went to pick up the sub and I asked the first guy for some of their well known oil in a container since I didn’t want it soak before I got home. He grabbed a container and filled it half way as his bottle emptied. I politely asked if I could have a little more than that and the black haired loser says”oh that’s plenty. It’s more than most people would need.” I responded that the oil is my favorite part and I always get more than most do. He muttered. “Oh daddy wants his sauce”. I took my meal and left as he isn’t worth my time. Even though I have eaten here hundreds of times, one bad apple does spoil it for me. I’m done and won’t be back.
