Ann Arbor Housing Commission: what do users think?
Mindy Delbo: I have called several times nobody will anwcer!? How can people move when none will help guide them.or talk.?
Kenyatta Campbell (low): The building management of the maintenance department Tim is a narcissist. He views himself as a person whose needs extreme attention but lacks ability to understand and communicate with people that doesn't indulge in his ego. With little to no emotion to the opposite ethnicity (unless you are from the opposite sexual ethnicity as himself). I do not believe he is the main representation of Ann Arbor housing commission ,but does play a key in it's structure. He has a male ego that blankets a dark cloud over the city of Ann Arbor value .
Sheree Duplessis: Amen 😇😇😇😇

Prime Student Housing: what do users think?
Ryan Stevenson: Classic student landlords — pretty much impossible to get them to do anything that won’t benefit them. Been waiting a month for them to replace my broken window, and they’ve refused to even discuss putting up security cameras after multiple instances of break-ins/vandalisms/etc in the immediate area of my building. If you park in their lot without a permit, though, you can bet they’ll have your car towed within the next half hour. None of the student rental companies in Ann Arbor are good, but Prime has been by far the worst experience I’ve had.
Katherine Chung: I lived in at the Wilmot location. Staff was always quick to address our maintenance requests. Our unit was pretty affordable and was fully furnished. I wish I had found this place sooner! Shout out to Jenny W. who was my point person with management. She was super responsive to all my inquiries and always gave me a no BS answer. Prime, give this women a raise because she's deserves it.
Heather Sherr: I lived at 610 S Forest Avenue for the summer. Many appliances and doors were broken when I moved in and the leasing office lost my keys and tried to charge me for it. Irresponsible office staff and poor apartment quality.
Jim Price: Former tennant at their Division property. Throwaway account. The price to rent was very low relative to almost all other properties in the area, yet it was still an exorbitant 900 a month for less than 400 sq ft of space, plus all utilities were tennnant responsibilities. The price you paid didn't necessarily correlate with the amenities everyone else would get in the building, too. Evidently a ton of units came with their own portable dishwashers and renovated bathrooms. Must not have been lucky enough to have gotten either. The property was last sold for about 10,000,000 according to public record. You'd think prime and their backing investment firm would have the capital to supply more than one functioning laundry machine for the 20 plus tennants here, or the ability to subsidize the costs of any given utility, like... laundry... which routinely gets more expensive here. The value of utilities is compromised in every case. Frequent unexpected water shutoffs with very little warning are common. Hot water runs out very fast because every Tennant is issued a very small water heater. The electric bill is too high, the prices end up seeming to not be governed by reason. You'll think you've reduced your usage reflexively only to be hit with a larger bill than the last. What else. The string of blatant mail thefts that have happened here was almost as disheartening as the lack of infrastructure the building affords to prevent such theft. Tennant key fobs are 75 dollars to replace even though they cost five dollars to make, as they are cheap and brittle in the Michigan cold.Laundry payment can only happen at the prime office itself, which is hugely inconvenient, because it requires cash to be loaded onto a card manually. Just use an app. Everyone else including the dorms has figured this out.Cleanliness is an issue. Bugs get in and because the front door is very liable to be left propped open due to its mechanism, they keep getting in. Trash litters the front of the building as we speak.Oh, and in case accessibility is a need of yours, dont bother. Area buildings over sixty years older than this one have fully functional elevators, but this only has stairs all the way up. If you were on the top floor here and broke your leg, you'd need to find both a cast as well as a new place to live.Do yourself a favor and don't rent here. Reposting since this evidently never posted.
Jacob Fenlon: Currently leasing with them and extremely disappointed with their practices. Instead of following the leasing ordinance they gave my apartment to someone else the DAY that they were allowed to ask us to renew. They obviously can’t be trusted with running a fair business.
Lily Y: Overpriced, even for college housing standards. You can do much better housing wise. Leasing company was unhelpful and confusing about their policies. You get much less than you pay for.
Cevon e: Worked there for 5 years, loved it ☺️
Mohan Dong: I lived at a one bedroom apartment on Hoover for two years. Location was great with convenient parking spot. Price was very reasonable and the apartment was fully furnished. Maintenance staff were very responsive. Everyone at the leasing office was professional and super nice.
Alex Gross: Always good experiences! Quick maintenance response time (writing this because they just had someone over within half an hour for an oven issue), super friendly staff, and good upkeep on building.
Matt Miller: Do yourself a favor and save your time and energy to choose a better housing company. Extremely disrespectful office staff who usually do absolutely nothing to resolve tenant issues. Many things would always be broken or of bad quality and maintenance would rarely resolve the issue first time around. The rent may be lower than other apartments but it comes at a cost: faulty plumbing, water shut offs, faulty maintenance repairs. Also prepare yourself for the plethora of hidden charges that will come your way - prime student housing is a scam. The overall apartments are constructed poorly with bad paint jobs and broken items. Most of our furniture was covered in paint splatters and many of our towel racks were basically falling out of the wall. The cons outweighs the pros and the overall apartment is not worth it. Much better idea to invest in another company or better apartment to avoid the hassle of dealing with unhelpful staff members and random people walking into your apartment every month.
Zirak Sajjad: You get what you pay for.
