When we went in to be fitted for our course gear, Brian and Henry helped us pick equipment that was a good fit and affordable (better than that online ordering service in price!!). The best part for our young kids was the collection of arcade games Brian has in the shop. We just completed our confined water dives this weekend with Dennis, and it was a very enjoyable experience! We look forward to using Huron Scuba for all of our diving needs! I highly recommend them!

Sarah Helm: We recently completed the PADI open water diver class and pool program with Huron Scuba and I can’t say enough about how great the whole process was. From the retail shop / paper work side of the process Henry was incredibly helpful. For the pool portion we had several instructors who were ALL top notch. They were great at teaching the skills and making sure we mastered them and that we were feeling comfortable with the skills.

Steve Rouse: I just completed the PADI Open Water SCUBA Diver Weekend Executive Course. Absolutely Awesome!! Owner Brian went the extra mile researching how my 1977 NASDS Certification fit into the current PADI certification system. Trainers; Brian, Olag, and Dennis were very knowledgeable and worked hard reviewing ageless diving techniques with this old-timer, and more importantly, teaching skills not even in the 1977 play book (i.e., neutral buoyancy). By the end of the weekend, all students were comfortable with the skills necessary to be safe and keep minor “issues” from escalating to real problems. Well done. Kudos.

Very competent and patient dive instructors (we learned with Brian, Chris, Oleg, Bart, Jeff, And James).The class information (PADI) was very informative and in-depth. Some important bits that are not required but super useful were leaned (like how to chase and reconnect your oxygen tank if it slips out of it’s straps!).They really focus on safety and having my kid 30-60 feet under water without mom does make one a bit nervous and they recognize that and worked with me to keep her safe and me assured!We do not have all the equipment for our kid to go scuba diving and it was a real help that all of the really expensive stuff is included in the class price!We would 100% recommend them as a great learning dive school!Also! They have a store where you can buy quality equipment or rent.We are now saving to go back in the shop to start collecting the gear!But in the mean time it’s really great to know we have a wonderful resource to use to rent!!Go sign up! The instructors and divemasters were all very experienced, helpful, patient with all the students, and very knowledgeable. You can tell how much they love diving. Good gear recommendations, great service dept, and they precisely fill tanks!

The owner has no problem talking you out of things you don't need even if they are more expensive. All of the instructors care about scuba diving very much and their passion for the sport is evident with the time they are willing to put in to students above the basic safety and skill requirements.

Dan OHaver: A fantastic shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff and instructors. My 15-year old daughter and I took the PADI Open Water course and loved every minute. The instruction was top notch with three fantastic instructors in the pool. Skills were taught, demonstrated, and the instructors gave each student as much time and instruction as necessary to complete the skill. This shop clearly has a passion for diving and diver education and has a good family atmosphere. The instructors worked with all students and at the end, the entire class seemed comfortable in the water and we are all well equipped to move on to the next steps in our diving journey. I would give more stars if I could.
