Suchet V Guha: A lot of folks before me reviewing this store have complained about stupid stuff. To the guy who complained that his liquor purchase was confiscated at his connecting flight, did you bother to tell the cashier at the Duty Free store that you HAD a connecting flight or did you assume they are mind readers and know where your final destination is just by looking at you?To the lady who complained they are never open in time, the last time I knew they opened everyday at 06:00 hrs Eastern time and closed at 22:00 Eastern time. Unless that has changed, my info is from 2020 and earlier. DTW is not a big enough airport for them to be open 24 hours.To the lady who was surprised that liquor or tobacco buying was reserved for international travelers only, That is a US-Customs rule not a duty free rule. But any and all duty free stores at any US border or airport has to adhere to that rule, or they could lose their license to operate.What is duty free? It is basically tax free, that is all. The overpriced items are still overpriced everywhere else.To review the store...It was Ok. Employees were Ok. No complaints there.

Domenic Senger-Schenck: This place didn’t properly package my liquor purchase so it was immediately confiscated on my connecting flight. They had one job, and they effed it up.
Cristian Tatu: I was looking for 2 parfums for a gift. A girl help us showing us some parfums on sale. When we got to the register a guy was at the register and 3 lady's on the side. He scanned the parfums saying $103. And I had to tell him , no these parfums are on sales for $29.95 each. As a customer who works with clients also, I think the discount should applied without having to asked.

Chris Gindi: I purchased a very expensive Montblanc pen while hanging out in the airport waiting on a delayed flight. I am a collector of these beautiful writing instruments. I got a good deal buying the pen initially, however when I returned home I noticed a problem with the item. The manager Jeff did everything possible to resolve a difficult situation. At the end of the day I feel it was resolved equitably and promptly. I would not hesitate to do business with them again in the future.
Jen B: Not open during business hours. I couldn't seem to find any information about why they were closed nor when they would ve open again. Having a sign or some indicator of hours of operation would have been great.

Rani Mukherjee: Prices are very expensive for being "duty free" more like a candy store with mostly candy. The liquor section is not well stocked at all. Yes they do have to show off bottles worth $4999 and up, gearing towards the high end millionaires who hardly travel through DTW. The sales staff is friendly however. For being an airport duty free they have no aircraft oriented watches. No Breitlings, no Citizen Promaster Navihawks.
