Essay Coaching by Debbie Merion: what do users think?
Johan Javier R-a: I truly believe that Ms. Merion's guidance was a huge factor in getting my acceptance at the University of Michigan.I was struggling with the process before meeting her, but she put me at ease during the very first meeting. It was then I knew that she was the right person to work with. Her warm and caring personality made me feel very comfortable in sharing my stories and ideas. I learned a lot from her in every session we held. With her professional critique and advice, she focused me throughout the different steps of composing my essays. I suggested her to my colleagues because I feel that utilizing her services was one of the best decisions that I made in my entire application process. I highly recommend her to anyone!
Maia Volk: Debbie is simply the best. I met with her to work on my admissions essays for undergrad 8 years ago. She helped me get into the university I ultimately attended even though I didn't meet the average grades and test scores for admitted students. When I decided to go back to school I knew I absolutely had to work with her again. She does a great job helping you articulate your strengths and structure a narrative for your essay that will make you stand out as a candidate.Writing about yourself is not easy, but Debbie gives you the tools to craft an essay that is engaging and doesn't sound like you are bragging about your skills but rather showing them through clear stories and examples. Her services are well worth it!
Mark Cavanna: Our son worked with Ms. Merion via zoom during the late summer/early fall of his senior year. Building on my son’s strong formal analytical writing skills, Ms. Merion mentored him so his essays were more expressive, personal and engaging. She helped him voice his ideas more eloquently and show the richness of his actions more clearly. We strongly believe her guidance and skill will have a significant impact on our son’s college acceptances. We would highly recommend Ms. Merion to anyone looking for an Essay Writing Coach.
Maureen Lin: I had seen Debbie Merion on Channel 7 on the segment called Mom’s a Genius. I was very impressed with her and purchased Debbie’s book, Solving the College Admissions Puzzle.Although my son Dan was five years away from applying to colleges, I knew Debbie Merion would be a great resource for my son, coaching his college application essays. Debbie coached my son in Honors English when he was a sophomore in high school. Dan learned more from Debbie than the teacher. Debbie continued to be an Essay Coach for my son for his college application essays. My son was accepted into all five top colleges he applied to, including University of Minnesota, University of Wisconsin, University of Illinois, Purdue, and he will be attending the University of Michigan Ann Arbor this fall. I have no doubt with Debbie’s experience in Essay Coaching helped the college admissions officer hear Dan’s voice in his college application essays.Debbie was always professional and respectful. She gave a tremendous amount of support to my son. At times Debbie was completely booked but she always managed to work my son into her schedule. At present, the soon to be high school seniors have an additional challenge ahead of them due to Covid-19. With the spring trimester(semester)and ACT/SAT canceled, I do feel the college application essays are going to carry more weight as the college admissions officer listens to the voice of the applicant by reading their essays. If you are a parent or student reading this review, I cannot emphasize enough, please work with Debbie as an Essay Coach. You will also be investing in their future- the knowledge they will learn from Debbie will last a lifetime. They will become a stronger writer for their career. Whether you are a grad student or want to become a powerful writer for career-related reasons. Debbie will help strengthen your writing as an Essay Coach.Maureen Lin
Jacob Hankin: Debbie has helped me with my college application essays, Teach For America application essays, and law school application essays, helping me get into my top choices for each! At this point, due to Debbie's friendliness and memory, she knows my life story well enough to help ME tell it to others. Essay Coaching truly works!
Sam Markel: Deb is a fantastic resource for anyone doing college application. She helped me polish my law school statement to make it feel like I was getting the most out of every word. Moreover, she gives great tips and tricks for improving your writing going forward!
Julia Schachinger: Huge help with essays. I got into my top choice for college, University of Michigan. My essays definitely would have been much more stressful and not up to my full potential if it wasn't for Debbie!
Bridget Martinez: Juan is making plans for orientation and roommate at University of Michigan. We are so grateful for your guidance with the essay writing and attribute much of his success in the college application process to your help in getting Juan to answer the essay questions from his point of view and in his words."
Gina Bernstein: Not only did Deb help my son get into his top choice of elite Universities, she helped me get into my top choice MBA program! She gives credible advice and steered us both to express ourselves in ways which were meaningful to the admissions office. Deb guided my son with a gentle touch which would have fallen on deaf ears had it come directly from Mom. I would recommend anyone serious about their college essays to use Deb as a resource!
Geraldine Markel: Deb Merion is the best. She knows how to invite and assist students to write honest and outstanding college admissions essays. She's skilled at breaking down barriers and making essay writing a stress-free experience for the college bound teen.

Pearson Professional Center: what do users think?
Latonya Hewitt: I am completely shock about this location’s very poor service and lack of competence in making sure that their computers are functioning properly. I have my own test results to worry about and I ended up hearing a gentleman having to need two pieces of identification, and another test taker having to return and retake their test due to a faulty computer. I also felt as I was going to jail because of the security procedures that was too extreme. I would give anything for an old-fashioned paper test instead of going to a center that are ran by this company.
RoChElLe AdAmS: I just took my PTCB exam for my Pharmacy Tech and staff was really nice and very thorough. I was so nervous cause I get test anxiety. But I passed. Yay !!! The environment was pretty calming.
Tina Cochrane: I've tested in four different sites, this one left me feeling like a number. The way they talked seemed accusatory, and many people were disgruntled at the surprise mask rules that were not communicated in advance, and upset by the fact that they could fail their test over it, despite the sign on the door saying masks were encouraged, not mandatory.
Sarah Knock: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Andrew Schulcz: Took and passed my NCLEX here (Jan 2018). Very professional and friendly staff. 8 quiet testing booths, each with sufficient room. Ear plugs available free from staff, in addition to sound cancelling headphones in each booth. If I had to test again, I'd chooses this center.
Shannon Wade: Not that I love test taking, but if I had to do it again this is the place to go. They are very thorough and explain the whole process. Their confidentiality is very appreciated, and the workers make you feel very calm and make the atmosphere very comfortable.
Jane Klaes: Very helpful, professional, responsive staff. Not that I want to be testing - but given that, it was as pleasant an experience as possible.

Sylvan Learning of Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Lindsey Guzi: My daughter is 14 and she never complains about going to Sylvan. Patricia and Stacy have been wonderful and my daughter has learned so much since she started! Best decision I ever made.
Christian Vercler: My daughter really struggled with confidence in reading and she has made remarkable improvements with Sylvan. She now is a confident reader and her first grade teacher has even reached out to tell us how proud she is of my daughter's improvements with reading confidently out loud in front of her whole class.
kmuridi: My 2nd grader did not know how to read in the beginning of the school year. After meeting with Stacy, she set up a program in which she told me how many hours he needed and what I would expect. We signed him up with Sylvan for 10 hours a week and he made a huge improvement over the past 5 months. Not only can he read at his grade level, but I’ve seen a new confidence in him that he never had. Sylvan has helped him become independent and gave him the confidence he was lacking in school.
kevin: 3 of my children attend here and I can see the difference it has made with them.
Deborah Adams: Positive:ValueAll three of my grandsons attend here. They love going at the same time they are going into 3rd grade, 1st grade and Kindergarten. Sylvan has help them improve their reading as well as gives them some in person learning during the remote learning environment for the last year.
Carolyn Vaidya: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWonderful staff. Very positive and encouraging. My child feels like she is able to learn again and has shown much improvement. We are so glad we choose to work with Sylvan Learning Center.
Robert Franzese: Our daughter has been with Sylvan (Ann Arbor) for around a year now for additional math work and advancement. In one year, she has gone from struggling a fair bit behind grade-level math to several grade-levels ahead! We are thrilled, and she loves the place and her tutors. And she's developing confidence and pride in her math work, as should be. Sylvan is slightly more expensive than alternatives, but for us at least: has been very well worth it. Couldn't be happier.
Tripti Marhatta: I’m Really happy that I chose this place for my daughter to get tutoring. My daughter has learned so much within few months already and she’s very confident. The people are so friendly and nice here.
John Randolph: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Jerard Rosser: Very clean inside.
Janice Marshall: Sylvan has provided our son the ability to work on his reading and math skills to keep him challenged and ready for the start of school. He loves his instructor and cannot wait to see him each week. Thank you for making this first experience with Sylvan a great one.
Our family: In kindergarten my son was below the standard level in school and so I took action and he started with sylvan learning center! He is now less than a year into just once a week and his first grade teacher wonders why he is in tutoring because he is in the highest reading level in his class. The staff is also super friendly and very informative so it’s overall a very pleasurable experience!
M.J Kim: My 14-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter have been with Sylvan for one year and a half, and have improved a lot. Their self-confidence went up greatly, and they became self-motivated as well. We had tried Kumon and Mathnasium before. But so far, Silvan of Ann Arbor has been the best--at least for us, that is—and my kids are happy with our choice. The staffs are extremely friendly and professional, and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to build up positive characters and technical skills at the same time.
Diane Kennedy: My daughter has been coming here for 18 months, and has made huge strides in her confidence, mastering numerous skills along the way. We used to have nightly arguments over math homework. Our evenings are now argument free. :)
Pink Diamond: My son really has shown tremendous improvement in his confidence since he starting at Sylvan. He really enjoys his learning time. The staff and tutors are very professional.
Maija Garcia: Sylvan is an excellent resource for students to get one on one learning support without the social pressure of a school environment. The staff are helpful, caring and communicative.
Kati Rezmierski: Our daughter's experience with Sylvan Ann Arbor has been amazing. Her math skills have improved tremendously. She is always treated with kindness and respect and is finally progressing at a subject with which she has long struggled. The staff/management is incredible - our family has difficult scheduling "issues," and they are unfailingly kind and accommodating whenever we need to change things or reschedule. I cannot more highly recommend Sylvan Ann Arbor.
Marina Sarafian: I have two sons. Both of them attended Sylvan Learning Center in Ann Arbor. My older son, who is a senior at MSU, took ACT prep course. My younger son, who is a junior in high school, just finished SAT prep course and four years before that, took lessons to improve his reading skills. Everyone was very nice, atmosphere was very relaxing, instructors highly trained. Every time I had a question, I would walk in and Patricia Childs would answer my questions and accommodate our schedule needs. I highly recommend Sylvan Learning Center.
Ruth Caston: Excellent tutoring and ACT/SAT preparation. Lots of personalized attention from both the directors and the staff, all with a very positive approach. Going to Sylvan has made a big difference to my kids' confidence and performance. Highly recommended.
Brent Beaverson: Experienced a transformation right away. Great place, friendly staff and tutors.
Sarah Beaverson: This is the best place for our daughter to get extra help with her math! The staff is always warm and helpful and so very informative. Every time we've had questions or concerns, they've gone above and beyond to help us and our child. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Sylvan for all that you do and have done for our family!

YouQuest College Advising: what do users think?
Chris Greene Hutchings: Shari Maser took the time to really understand my child and her interests and needs. For two year, Shari helped my daughter to discover her own interests and passions, and find a voice to advocate for her own needs. I have no doubt that, without Shari, my child would have chosen the wrong college, dropped out, and would have been very discouraged. Now we are on a path as unique as my daughter, and she believes in herself and her own choices.
Claire S.: The main reasons we chose to hire an independent college advisor was to relieve tensions between teen and parents around deadlines, guidance for essay writing and common app, college research. We ended up getting that and so much more with Shari at YouQuest College Advising. Shari took away the mystery of college applications, helped my daughter figure out what she wanted in a college, calmed all of us, helped my kid emotionally process her concerns, ignited excitement in my daughter when there wasn’t much, told us about programs and perks we would have NEVER discovered on our own and made it possible to apply to top picks in August before school started. And then we were off. We had the tools to assess colleges, were clearer about her direction and applied to a total of 12 by October 1.At the time of writing this, my daughter has been awarded over $600,000 in scholarships (over four years) and has so many great choices to close from. That’s all thanks to Shari’s knowledge, encouragement and problem solving.
mary mclain: I’ve looked forward to our conversations and felt so deeply supported by your advice and feedback. If I had a nickel for every time I’ve said to one of the boys, ‘Well, let’s run that by Shari and see what she thinks…” I really can’t tell you how grateful I’ve been for your encouragement, your steady presence, your positive attitude. I truly can’t find the words.
Jennifer Niedermeier: Your wealth of experience with different aspects of education is so relevant in assisting families to navigate the daunting college selection and application process. I can certainly speak, from personal experience, of how helpful you have been to my daughter, especially in reviewing her many essays that resulted in her acceptance to medical school at The Ohio State University! Thank you, Shari!
Tina Stone: YouQuest College Advising brings great experience and personalized planning to a student's journey through the maze of choices to finding the right match for an individual and the best college education for them. It is an excellent, very supportive, and personalized service. I would highly recommend this very insightful advisor! She is very professional and offers step by step encouragement throughout the entire process!
L F: I love it that YouQuest focuses on personalized counseling and achieving a "good fit" for students, rather than simply working to secure admission to a "best ranked college."

Emily Dominguez: Fantastic advisor!  I was fortunate to be paired with Kathy through Matchlighters. She is a passionate, patient, and caring individual who supports her students throughout their entire college application journey. The process was constructed comprehensively; we began by determining my interests and compiling several schools that were both a match and fit. When it came to essays she gave me honest and constructive feedback that helped me determine my niches. Being a first-generation student, the college admissions process did get overwhelming and stressful at times, but Kathy was always checking that I was in a healthy state of mind and guiding me through all the questions I had.  I whole-heartedly recommend Kathy Noble to anyone looking for a college advisor who will support them each step of the way!
Neetika Kheterpal: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueKathy is the most friendly, patient, and caring woman -- making her amazing at connecting with students trying to figure out their future plans. She helped me with everything from finding what schools I was interested in to brainstorming essay ideas. Couldn't have done it without her:)
Sean Babcock: Excellent advisor! Mrs. Noble was extremely helpful every step of the way. The process was very comprehensive, beginning with a search for areas of future professional interests and a compilation of schools that supported these interests. Her experience in the field proved very beneficial in helping me to fine tune all essays, knowing exactly what the each school was looking for. Kathy was constantly there to remind me of upcoming meetings, testing days, college visits, and application dates. Her advising helped me to find immense success in the application process as I was granted admission into all 8 schools I applied to, including; The University of Michigan, Villanova University, and the University of Miami (FL). If you are in the market for a college advisor, I whole heartedly recommend Kathy Noble!
Ethan Sperla: Kathy is an absolutely fantastic consultant. She helps you find your special niche and allows you to better understand how to best market yourself to colleges. At first, the college application process seemed very intimidating and nearly impossible. However, Kathy broke it down into easy, manageable steps. Kathy genuinely wants what’s best for YOU. There’s no way that I could have survived the college application process without Kathy by my side.

Soccer Scholarships USA: what do users think?
Angus V: Great experience and made my American college soccer thought a reality. Thanks to Jack, my recruitment officer, for all his hard work.
Dominic Hart: I have nothing but positive things to say about Soccer Scholarships USA. The recruitment process was fantastic and the company helped me massively in securing a scholarship. Not only did Soccer Scholarships USA provide me with a complete recruitment package, they also keep in regular touch with how things are going for me. I know that I can always contact a consultant if I ever have any issues that I am facing or if I ever need any advice. In all Soccer Scholarships USA provide a high-quality, all-round service from the start of the recruitment process all the way through. I would definitely recommend the company to anyone who is interested in securing a scholarship!
Daniel McCarty: As a college coach it is sometimes difficult to travel as much as I'd like, to see players. Jack and his staff have always been trustworthy and honest in their assessments of players and in finding the best fit for our program. I would encourage any student athlete looking to come to the states to utilize their services!
Joe Dickson: Soccer Scholarships USA were brilliant for me. They were hugely supportive from day 1 and they still check up on me to this date. They got me a great scholarship at a great university and I can't express how helpful Soccer Scholarships USA were. My recruitment consultant was Jack Smith, he is hugely dedicated to getting what's best for you and is such a nice lad. I can always rely on Jack if I need further help or assistance.
Colin Watson: I highly recommend Soccer Scholarships USA to anyone interested in playing soccer at a University in the U.S! I used them 2 years ago and have never looked back since! They got me a scholarship at an amazing university and I have loved every minute, I am living the dream. My recruitment consultant Jack Smith was brilliant throughout the process and kept me up to date with everything that was going on. Jack still contacts me regularly to make sure everything is going well and he is always there if I need any help with anything.

The Princeton Review: what do users think?
Vincent Lizzio: I completed my MCAT prep with The Princeton Review and found it very helpful. I was very happy with my final score.
Moriah-Taylor Rutherford: This program changed my life for the better! My instructor was helpful and helped my score go up 6 points! Because of the Princeton review I received multiple full rides for college!
Jake Presto: Princeton is amazing!! I used Princeton for ACT prep while applying to college, and I just graduated from the University of Michigan. I’m currently applying to medical school, and I used Princeton for MCAT prep as well. The experience was fantastic. I took a competitor’s MCAT prep course when I took the test for the first time and I was thoroughly unsatisfied with the experience. Princeton, on the other hand, had specific teachers for specific topics and really helped me to improve my score. Would recommend to anybody who is taking a standardized test they offer courses for!
Drew Gardner: As the Student Government of Michigan State University (ASMSU), we have had a strong partnership with The Princeton Review for the past several years. Not only are they a great partner to work with, but they have been able to consistently provide huge cost savings to our students for both in-person and online prep classes. They have well prepared material with highly capable instructors, and I would recommend them to any student who's looking to prepare themselves for a graduate exam.
Samuel Cain: Princeton Review has some of the most rigorous training I've ever encountered to become a teacher and tutor there, and only even offer interviews to quality applicants. The vetting process I underwent to teach here was some of the most stringent I've been through, and throughout the process of learning how to teach MCAT content, I learned quite a bit about how to do better on that test... and to qualify to be a teacher you have to already have scored in the 90th percentile! The material they have for SAT, ACT, and MCAT test prep is some of the best out there, and those are just the courses I've taught. If someone is going to purchase test prep for college or graduate school, this is the place to do it.
Callista Zingas: I love working at Princeton Review because I can create my own schedule and everyone at the workplace is very positive and accommodating. The training process was well organized and I enjoy here teaching a lot!
Gillian Wright: The Princeton Review offers great resources for preparing for all sorts of college and graduate program entrance exams. As an MCAT teacher I've seen students grow in knowledge, reasoning, and strategy, and they go on to achieve great results. I love the learning environment at TPR and really enjoy working here.
Joan Hall: This class is very helpful, I am sending my 2nd child to it this summer.
Alexandra Rogers: As a student organization leader, working with Olivia at the Princeton Review has been great! Easy to communicate with and very understanding.
Cameron Pawlik: My MCAT class at TPR was a great review of all the material that was needed for the test. It also provided me with a wealth of practice for the big day. I would recommend their ultimate course to anyone else who is also studying for the MCAT.
Danielle Mullis: I attribute so much of the success I had tackling the MCAT exam to my Princeton Review course. The Princeton Review offers a wide variety of prep class from enthusiastic teachers and I enjoyed my time as a student so much, I applied to be a teacher for them! I’ve loved working for TPR so far and really enjoy being part of such a professional, supportive group of teachers and staff.
Henry: Great experience with both the SAT and MCAT classes! Instructors are knowledgeable and professional, and the office staff are welcoming and very responsive to customers!
Madeline McCabe: Great MCAT class experience! Enjoyed my teachers and appreciated having both an in-class experience and a lot of online resources.
Willie Sullivan: Do not use Princeton Review for GMAT! The instructor is really unprofessional, their materials are nothing like the actual test. Save your money or do Kaplan, Veritas, Target Test Prep or anything else!
Music Melody: Horrible customer service. Course work old and not up to date with new SAT. You will be wasting your money. They don't give a s.... once you pay them.
Morgan Mitchell: Waste of time and effort, the proctor for the practice act was of little help and provided shallow advice- after we took the section on it. The Princeton Review also cancelled my scores because of low turnout. Not worth any effort.
Arnold Miguel F Babila: Princeton Review cancelled my kid's SAT review twice in a row. Reason: It didn't have enough enrollees. Princeton Review doesn't care how hard you've planned your and your kids' time. It should not be in business in the first place, if it doesn't want to take risks. Parents, don't even bother enrolling your kids at Princeton Review.

Synko Associates, LLC: what do users think?
David Tisdale: I find it difficult to articulate the difference that Nick has made in my career. For the first time I interviewed like a Director, I thought like a Director, I acted like a Director. Now, I am a Director. I was ready to give up on transportation, but Nick kept me focused and helped me get to where I am. I wouldn’t be here without him.
shivali patel: Nick was recommended to me by a close friend who he had helped years earlier. It took a pandemic for me to fully realize I was fed up and burnt out by my current career and I owed it to myself to make a change. I started working with Nick in July to sort out if a complete career overhaul was needed or if my skills and previous roles could help me pivot. I would always look forward to our weekly discussions. Nick’s poignant questions helped me work through all the confusion in my brain. During my initial call with Nick, I asked for his complete honesty and for constructive feedback and assured him I would do the same. This was instrumental throughout the whole process. Nick never judged, was understanding, candid and sincere with his advice. Changing careers is a daunting task and Nick made the whole process less overwhelming. Our thoughtful conversations helped ease this seemingly formidable undertaking. Even in different time zones, both Nick and Cathy were always accommodating and willing to cooperate with any scheduling conflicts that could arise. You will not regret the time spent with Nick Synko. The conversations you have will continue to resonate in your life.
Gracie Salo: I highly recommend Synko Associates. When I started working with them I was in a difficult spot career wise. I didn't know what I wanted to do professionally and being laid-off during the pandemic didn't help. With Nick's help I was able to land a job at the University of Michigan and I never in a million years thought I would work there. I highly recommend working with Synko Associates if you are lost career wise, like I was.
Catherine Hall: I've had nothing but wonderful experiences here, Nick and Cathy both show great care in their work. They have been flexible with my time, and always go above and beyond with the help they've provided me. Nick has greatly improved my resume, assisted me with job searching, and helped me navigate continuing education. I would highly recommend Synko Associates to anyone seeking guidance for their next steps.
Drew Dungan: Value that exceeds expectation. Engaging in a career transition can be an anxious pursuit, but Nick’s decades of experience and proven process provide you with unrivaled expertise coupled with a genuine desire for you to succeed. If you are merely seeking a new job, Nick is not for you. If you are, however, pursuing a future that is true to who and what you are at your core, Nick will guide you toward that realization.
Sarah L.: I highly recommend Synko Associates to anyone looking to start a career, change a career and anything in between. Nick Synko is an exceptional career coach! Whether you know what career path you want to take or don’t, he sincerely wants to help you figure it out. Nick takes the time to understand who you are and how to best utilize your talents. With his help you will get where you want to go!
meghan gunnerson: I met with Nick for career coaching during my divorce proceedings. He proved to be a great resource in modernizing my resume, and interview skills, as it had been quite a while since I was in a paid position. His vast expertise and connections in the community were a boost to my self confidence, and helped me in the interview process. Would highly recommend.
Juhee Kim: I met Nick without any idea about what a career coach can do for me. I wasn't so motivated to make changes nor had I any idea about where I wanted to steer my career. I was feeling completely lost and depressed, but Nick helped me move forward and eventually pass through my dark time. He was patient, empathetic, and authentically caring not just about my career but about me as a person. At the same time, he guided me with his expertise in career change to be practically prepared. Polishing my resumes and interview skills with him, I came to believe that I am capable of working, which once I deeply doubted. I learned so much about how to remain respectful and humble but at the same time not undersell myself. Now I'm working at an organization that he recommended me to start at as a volunteer. I dare to say that this job is a perfect fit for me in every aspect - content of work, flexibility in schedule, culture, even location. I cannot believe that just last Christmas, I didn't really want to work. Given my cultural background and employment history, I might have been a pretty "untraditional" client of his, but I've seen that he was willing to figure out things with me, even learn "from" me.
Patrick Canavan: An absolute dedication to excellence. Synko Associates is an absolute must if you are looking to update your work credentials. Additionally, Nick is exceptional at recognizing hidden skills and not only bringing them to light, but also instilling personal confidence to use them day to day. Overall, I consider Synko Associates to be the absolute premier option when looking to make that next career move.
Randy Miller: Nick knows how to expertly help people navigate any career issue they face. He is very knowledgable and has a wealth of tools that really work! Nick is a very effective career coach ... I would not have found my fulfilling career without him. As a career and executive coach, I believe Nick is following the career that was chosen for him.
Christopher Nan: There are just a small handful of people I’ve met throughout my life that have made a profound impact on my life - and Nick Synko tops my list! His experience, insight, and guidance have not only helped me build a strong career trajectory, but has also positively shaped me in my personal endeavors. Nick has been there for me every step of the way with a plethora of resources and encouragement - I couldn’t have done it without him! When I hear folks complaining about the job search process, I know they haven’t met Nick. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions - I’d be happy to talk about my time working with Nick!
Matt Ursitti: Nick and Cathy are amazing at what they do. If you are between jobs or thinking or changing careers they are the people to see. Nick is an expert at resume review and creation, coaching you how to market yourself, conduct your job search, and providing insight on career and/or career transition strategy and advice, He won’t always tell you want to you want to hear but he will tell what you need to hear. I cannot recommend Synko & Associates more.
Anne Parker: Working with Nick has given me a new lease on life. With Nicks guidance and 100+ Career Tips I now have a new career goal after retiring from running a business. I possess a new focus that fits my life goals and a refueled passion for the next new thing!
Sarah Rademaker: Nick Synko has a reputation for highly-professional work. Highly recommended for anyone looking for their first job, career change or dream role.
Nick Ferris: I have had the good fortune of first meeting Nick and his team while transitioning from an executive level role, moving from one industry to another. At the time I had an assigned executive coach from an international HR firm from NY. Though through a shared associate was referred to Synko Associates.Nick has the innate ability to draw out an individuals strengths / skills beyond the most common utilized tools in this industry. With this they are able to support a career professional in presenting themselves, be it in a resume, or interview preparation as the best authentic version of themselves!I am a supporter of Nick Synko, have frequently referred others, across many industries, and career stages, including my own college graduate, for career coaching!
Chris Hall: Choosing a career coach can be difficult or even scary to many people. However, Nick and Cathy Synko will immediately put your mind at ease. I've worked with them for more than 15 years through several phases of my career and have found their knowledge to be exceptionally well-rounded and their ability to help stronger than any other type of career counseling I've experienced. They literally wrote the book on effectively helping a person discover their true and full potential, and they use the materials from their book and other resources to help you unlock the hidden skills, talents and interests you already have. They can also help you to discover whether you need more or a different education. I've found their approach so effective that I've personally referred more than 10 other people to them, all of which have echoed my experiences. If you are stuck in a career, or need to make a change, or just want to explore your options, I highly recommend Synko Associates.
Lori Buiteweg: Nick and Cathy Synko have been extremely helpful to many of my divorcing clients who are re-entering the workplace after a hiatus raising children. They are compassionate, caring and resourceful. They help inspire, build confidence, and make connections. I highly recommend them!

Coaching-Pearl Moments: what do users think?
Touch of Class: Anna has helped me with several problems in my life, I do not know where I would be without her help. I would highly recommend her service to anyone in need of additional support and guidance.
Fred Hoitash: Anna gave me the confidence I needed to pursue other areas of interest and continue to do so on a regular basis. Her personal touch of working closely with others, including myself, is a trait that she possesses that makes you feel comfortable, willing to opening up and making your life better.
Jay Phrozen: Excellent, applicable advice and counseling! Pearl Moments is a very valuable tool capable of helping anyone navigate difficult life situations as well as help to meet or exceed goals. I highly recommend!
Juli McLeod/Yoga Jule: I have known Anna for over twenty years. She never fails to motivate and inspire me. I've always felt blessed and lifted up by her good advice and support as a friend, but when I decided to attend one of her group sessions because I was struggling personally and professionally with organization, self esteem issues and procrastination, she really helped me take it to the next level. She genuinely cares for the success of each of her clients. She also knows how to keep you accountable in a nonjudgemental way. When I got into that uncomfortable place of change, she was there to reassure and cheer me on. She is a very organized and positive person. Receiving emails, phone calls and texts from her helped me to stay focused and motivated. When one of my loved ones needed a boost personally and professionally she was there too. I really cannot say enough about how much her life coaching and positive presence has blessed my life. She has a real gift for bringing out the best in others, and you can tell she loves what she does. I highly recommend her services.
jen thomason: This experience of being a member of Anna's group coaching was totally refreshing and inspirational. I have been amazed at how listening to the other people's stories and sharing my own has been super encouraging and helpful.
Susan Middlesworth: I took a group session with Anna recently for 5 weeks. Anna was very supportive, texting daily and ready to answer any questions. She came prepared each week with a new topic to discuss that related to what we were working on. Now it is up to me to follow through!
Abigail Grigsby: Ever since I started my coaching sessions with Coaching-Pearl Moments, my life has opened up tremendously and I find myself achieving things in ways that I didn’t believe I could. The accountability and the special attention that I receive from my coach has motivated me to accomplish the goals that I have established for my personal and professional development. I feel able to share my winnings and my failings without feeling judged. Instead, I get incredible, thoughtful insight and encouragement. I find myself leaving each meeting with more strength and energy then when I first started. There’s nothing more satisfying then the proud feeling of accomplishing a goal and it’s even more rewarding when your coach, who has been with you every step of the way, gives you the recognition of a job well done.
Vickie Looker: What a difference 5 weeks can make! I enlisted the help of Anna Nowaczeswski and Coaching-Pearl Moments during a pivotal transition time in my life. All of us have issues and obstacles in both our personal and professional lives. When Anna began coaching me, we both saw an immediate difference in my life; emotionally, socially, and professionally. Anna’s ability to analyze the areas that were causing me the most unhappiness and stress was amazing. After we figured those specific issues out, she helped me start to goal set. She didn’t expect miracles….growth is slow under the best of circumstances! Her daily encouraging texts addressing the goals we set together were so very helpful. There’s nothing like waking up to a positive and uplifting note to start off your day on the right foot! We addressed all facets of my life in an effort to create peace and balance. We can’t forget fun, either, as making time for pleasurable things all add to our overall sense of well-being. Knowing you have someone that’s keeping track kept me accountable for the goals we set. I knew that Anna would be expecting to hear how hard I was working on my goals, and whether or not I was able to achieve them. She did not expect perfection but was looking for significant progress. Thanks to her coaching and encouragement, I have been able to achieve the majority of my goals.I want to thank Anna and Coaching-Pearl Moments for making such a dramatic difference in my life! I have become more self assured and less anxious about the future now that I’ve worked with her and embraced her teachings.
Valerie Taccolini: Anna coached me several times through home schooling over the past 10 years. Recently we had a coaching session to help me sort out changes going on for me professionally, within my family, and homeschooling my last two kids. Anna is organized and professional. She has a wealth of experience and great new ideas to get me both organized as well as think outside the box. I now feel both relieved and empowered to navigate all the changes happening in my life. I highly recommend Anna!
