Kristin James: I came here specifically for ground duck meat. The gentleman at the counter was very warm and accommodating. I've been here once before, and was very pleased to find that they had ground duck. So glad they still do! It's hard to find! This market has some interesting finds with lots of variety. Give this place a try, especially, if you're already there for the farmer's market!

We were really focused on the butcher counter so I can't say a lot about the rest of the place, tho there did seem to be a very good range of items and my wife found a spice that she had looked for for some time. But the meat counter was astounding! From thick bacon thar was easily 3 times thicker than I've ever seen before thru sausages and huge steaks and racks of lamb. Very helpful and attentive staff, quite reasonable prices. A great find.

Mijeong Kwon: In 2016 summer, for some reason, this place had the MOST delicious OJ I have ever had in my life. It was beyond orange... it was something else. Since then I have been coming back to this place from time to time to try their OJ, which has not been that extraordinary but still great.They also have very affordable mix of beef/lamb. My cats love it when I cook it and give it as treat.
jmzcolton: I ate the best ribeye steak I've ever had in my life, and I bought it here. They also had dried, wild-foraged morels, which elevated the steak to ridiculous levels of deliciousness.Did it cost $77 for the raw ingredients? Yeah.Worth it, though.

John T: I visit this place at least twice a week and pay a visit to the meat counter. Very reasonable prices, very high quality meat! Also, I love that Bob Sparrow hires women to be the butchers!I also get a good laugh because sometimes the crowd that gathers is so Ann Arbor, with people asking if the meat is organic, not understanding that it's the same quality, and the sort.I'm leaving Ann Arbor in July and this will be one of the places I miss the most!
