Dennis Snider: Great place. Spoke with them on Friday about some specialty grain I needed while I was there purchasing corn. Went and picked up said grain today. I don't know many businesses where you can order something heading into a holiday weekend and pick up what you ordered heading out of the same holiday weekend, in this case easter. Help support this fine grainery.

G Miller Jr: This great historic place is struggling. He's ever moreso not able to compete with the big box stores and their buying power. His suppliers prices are above retail of his main competitors on the items he orders.This is a losing proposition. He needs to diversify to compete. How exactly is anybody's guess.Yet his product is FAR less suspect and locally sourced.That's why we go to this feed mill.It's an interesting historic location. Deserving of your time.

Glenn Miller 1976: A rustic old feed mill that once functioned via the river behind it. It's still a sturdy structure inside and stores tons of corn in the upper level for the various corn based feeds. The proprietor is always friendly and soft-spoken. We always buy our chicken feed here. The birds prefer it over any prepackaged factory feed.

Corey Keller: Bought a Wood Master 5500 from Dave last winter. Had a few miner problems with the burner threw out the winter, but every time I called Dave up he was always there and if he had to come out he was here. He’s a first class businessman that care about his customers to the T. Can’t complain there. Fix everything with no labor charged or parts under warranty. Now where into 2018 and haven’t had problem, runs like a top. If your looking to buy a burner, Dave’s your guy. I strongly recommen Penn Acres!!

Billy Welcher: Having passed by here too many times to count, I finally stopped by. It’s a quaint little place, nothing here to dazzle you on the surface. But what you’ll find is good prices on gardening supplies and equipment, and plenty of goods for your canine friends! The people who run the shop are extremely nice and were quick to give me advice on what they recommend, without trying to aggressively upsell but inform of what others have bought and what might be best for your situation, even if it’s not the most expensive. They had some beautiful, massive pots at a steal of a price that I knew I had to have.Needless to say, I’m very happy I went here and I would recommend this to anyone whose looking for some supplies and would like to shop local, which I am all about. I wasn’t going there to spend $75, but I did anyways. I’ll be back for sure!
