Interim HealthCare of Ann Arbor MI: what do users think?
Gabe Adiv: The team at interim health care went above and beyond in their care for our mother. Their professionalism, attention to detail and overall compassion were truly a godsend amidst a very challenging chapter in our lives. We will be forever grateful for this team and all that they do. God bless all of them.
Cindy: Ronda has been wonderful to work with. We are so appreciative of the care Interim has provided.
Sonja Love Felton: Interim HealthCare of Ann Arbor has been outstanding. They have been extremely professional and dedicated to addressing my organization's medical staffing and home care needs. I highly recommend them.
F. Pat McIntee: Our experience with 'Interim Health Care' even though short was outstanding. Professional-Upfront with details- Great attitude -willing to do anything within reason and willing to offer suggestions.
john kurtz: I have an elderly father who is 96 and was slipping. I researched and found Interim HealthCare. I was very impressed with the initial interview and so I hired a caregiver for my father through Interim HealthCare. Within a week, I could see my father had improved mentally, was becoming more involved with social activities within his community, and was much happier. His caregiver had such great ideas to engage him. So I hired another caregiver and things just got better. I am totally satisfied with this company and give them my highest recommendation.
Rita Rackmil: Ronda, the staff and caregivers were very caring and kind.I highly recommend this business. They were prompt with all information, flexible and willing to adapt as needed. The caregivers treated my mom like she was their own family member.A Care Plan was prepared taking into account all of my mom’s needs.

Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital: what do users think?
aurora carmon: My mother was in ICU and wasn't going to make it. After days off of life support she was moved down the hall into comfort care. They had a great comfort plan in place for her. We all knew it wouldn't be long. The plan was adavan every two hours and delatin in between upon request if we thought she needed it. This lasted a few days. I had to go home on the 23rd for a while and thought she would be well taken care of. When I returned to the hospital at 10:30 that night she was in distress and breathing heavily. I asked what time she had been given her medicine and they were honest and said at 3pm. My mother went without from 3 pm until 10:30 when I showed back up. When I tried to explain to the coordinator she was very rude and said I was wrong about the plan. And that they just don't hand out dilation? She literally argued with me for 20 minutes before my mother was given a double dose of DILATION!?! My mother was then given dilation every 2 hours after that! I still am upset. She did pass the very next morning at 5:40 on the 24th. It was not the plan for discomfort. They did not follow the plan and it was horrible.
Samantha Kilroy: Was recently here. Excellent care by the staff and beautiful facility. The beds in the rooms looked really old. The nurses were so kind and treated my family with kindness and respect.
Sisco Messi: had both knees total replacement at st.joes first in 2014 went smoothly everyone treated me great nurses were the best made me feel comfortable and I think actually cared second knee great doctors and nurses again unfortunately hospital management is uncaring and incompetent after six hours waiting for surgery on stretcher because of scheduling error after surgery was told I had to leave immediately and nurses were told to find me something to were from leftover clothes from who knows were because my wife took my clothes to wash nurses stood up for me and I stayed best nurses around too bad head office is terrible
Josh B: Amazing staff, from the RN's, PCT's and doctors, etc., they have worked to save my life and bring me back to health on different occasions and I'll forever be in their debt for all they've given to me in the will to live. Special shout out to the staff on 8 east for taking such amazing care of me.
David Zupec: This used to be a great hospital. Unfortunately not anymore. The nurses care more about their paychecks than they do about caring for patients.
Racquel Nelson: Went here for my mental health and the nurses were the meanest people to me. They were judge mental and did not care how they treated me. Felt very alienated. Do no recommend going here if you are struggling with mental health.
Pier McClinton: Friendly. respectable
Narmada Liyanaarachchi: I gave birth here and had an ok experience. Some of the nurses were beyond kind and accommodating while nurse practitioners were mostly terrible. In fact you will rarely if ever meet a doctor during your birthing stay here. They have replaced most doctors with nurse practitioners, as they incur less cost to the hospital despite charging you high medical bills. Many of the NPs we encountered like to assert their non medical anecdotal opinion on you instead of providing you with proper researched medical advice.
Boner McCoy: Selfish executives endanger patients by forcing staff into unsafe working conditions, firing any who stand up. Ask yourself if you've lost a love one here recently: "could it have been prevented", the answer is probably yes, but it would have cost some $250k/yr exec to take a pay cut.
jh zhang: I only want to complain one thing that many staff wear perfumes . Some patients can not handle strong smell . There are many hospitals does not allow staff wear perfumes.
Katie: rude front desk staff, took a whole hour to answer. 🤦🏻‍♀️ she was talking in such a rude tone, and just being super unprofessional.
Betty Boop: Waited two weeks for cat scan, called in an hour after the appointment. Very disappointed especially after they told me to get there early which added another 15 to the added hour already waiting...
Heather Najera: I have been coming here for years and I have never been treated so bad the girl in the front was talking about my chart and there is a hipaa law and they broke that I will never be back
Lynn Wiand: I will first say that the majority of the people we interacted with were very kind and helpful. My mom, who is 85, was admitted through the ER with delusions and hallucinations. She had every test run during her 5 day stay only to find nothing remarkable. All of the nurses were very kind to her however on the last night, before she was taken by ambulance to a geriatric psych hospital, the nurse attending to her LIED about the medication they were giving her. I will be filing a formal complaint with the board because it is the patients right to be told exactly what they are administering to her. The other complaint I will be filing is NOT ONE Doctor had the courtesy to explain to my mom her diagnosis and that they were transferring her to a treatment center. The social work team just shows up in her room with a brochure and states "are you ready to go, you are being transferred to East Lansing.!!" This is NOT compassionate care by any doctor on her team - they left it up to the family to explain
Meredith Rollins: These people abuse psychiatric patients. This facility is not equipped to deal with addiction/ depression/ anxiety. Only full blown psychosis for minimal medication management. Do not come here or send family here for depression or anxiety. They are not equipped to deal with mental or emotional issues, just chemical. They will make your life so much worse. No therapy, no help, just locking you up in a cage, with minimal food and water. You are punished for not thriving in a jail cell atmosphere. If you are struggling with addiction, go to a rehab center, the hospital is not equips to deal with the mental aspect of addition. We need health care reform, this place is a great example.
Jelly Being: I am currently inpatient here. The Dr is refusing ANY tests, including blood, when I’m going through a thyroid that could kill me. My TSH is so high my hearts pounding out of my chest but they say it’s normal. For me it’s definitely not! He refuses to change, or lower my thyroid medication and says to leave, however no bowel movement in a week of liquid quiet (no metabolism) so gave me laxatives to force it. I need help please. Immediately. Please. I’m not willing to die at home. And, that’s the least of my medical problems. All 3 have high death rate. My family is aware and it’s documented. They will act accordingly. I came for help, admitted when hard to find a bed anywhere because of the severity of each disease, but Dr doesn’t care. I’ve also been left in excruciating pain for a week.
Courtney Jackson: They have saved my life on numerous occasions and the level of patient centered care is far better than anywhere else I've encountered.
Richie Lutty: Constance is an incredible worker. She puts up with a lot of stuff while keeping her composure. Adeola is an amazing employee as well. She works very hard and does her job well. Cindy loves cats and gives them a home. This is amazing in my opinion. Try is very friendly and she knows her job, she is a good mom, and she is consistent. Keep it up Trinity, great job!
Theresa T: Are all ERs this bad? The front desk staff was terse, unable to answer any questions, and completely unfriendly. After my friend was admitted, I waited six hours in the waiting room. I finally asked who I might talk to about when I’d receive information about how much longer she’d be there. “Ask the nurse. We don’t know that’s stuff.” I then asked the nurse who said, “Go see reception. They can tell you.” I went back to reception. The woman rolled her eyes and said “No one ever told me we are supposed to know that stuff.” I had a child with me who I could have put to bed if someone could have simply given me a vague idea that we’d be there all night. Beyond that it was dirty, masks strewn around, chip bag wrappers on the floor, and dirt and debris all over the place. The nurses didn’t even close the doors when they triaged patients so you could hear every private health detail throughout the waiting room including name, ages, weight, and medical history. Drive the extra mile - do not risk it at St. Joe’s ER.
Jason Reum: Most horrible experience ever wife came in for adomanal pain she was seen pretty quick and the nurse was really nice but between night doctor and day shift doctor they couldn't agree on diagnosis either way not life threatening but when we ask to leave first they lie about not being able to discharge in evening when we press that they said if we leave they will make it so insurance won't cover it so basically holding my wife hostage on new years well DOC is at home getting drunk!
Ron Toth: Was in town on business when I started having pain in my chest and was taken by ambulance to St Joe's ER with concern for a heart attack. Turned out I needed my gall bladder removed. All things considered it was a wonderful experience in ER, Surgery, and Recovery. As in all jobs, there were a variety of staff but considering the roughly 30 surgeons, doctors, RNs, PCTs that I had considerable interaction with I would rate them all acceptable to awesome with the average trending much closer to awesome. Thanks for taking such good care of me during my unplanned stay.
