Bombay Grocers: what do users think?
alps: Our regular shopping store for the last 8 years. Love the collection, customer service. The best thing is all the items are arranged so neatly and alphabetically, one doesn’t need to search for anything. Prices are reasonable. Vegetables are fresh. Almost everything is available. You can always call ahead and request for an item to be available if you are driving from far away. Friendly staff. They are so nice to our kid and will often give her goodies at no extra cost. We love shopping here.
Eddie Smith: Nice grocery store with a wide selection of Indian foods and snacks. Service is polite and helpful.
Akshay Bhat: Good selection of items for those looking for Indian groceries and products. Also carry Indian savories, sweets and snacks as quick eats. Friendly and amicable folks working at the store!

Patel Bhavnaben: Best Grocery Grocery Stores is a leading grocery store in the area. When visiting them you will find a wide selection of items and fantastic prices. The staff there are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for their next shopping experience!
HIRENKUMAR PATEL: I recently visited this store to purchase some Indian groceries, and I have to say that it's the best place to find them at an affordable price. The customer service is excellent, and the staff was very helpful in finding everything I needed. I was pleasantly surprised to see a wide variety of snacks such as samosas, dhoklas, and various sweets available, all of which were fresh and delicious. Overall, I had a wonderful shopping experience and would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for authentic Indian groceries and snacks.
Jay patel: I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for affordable Indian groceries. The selection is great, and I always find everything I need. The customer service is excellent, and the staff are always happy to help. Overall, a fantastic shopping experience!
hardik mehta: This store has all the Indian ingredients you need. Every small masala, spice, etc. And the owners are very helpful in finding something, they will assist you personally. The store is well laid out.
Nikhil Baldwa: Best Indian grocery store in Ann Arbor with literally every thing that you'd need. Plus home deliveries made life so much easy :)
Avinash Veluturla: A well maintained store with a lot of variety in items.
Amartya Sensarma: Great selection of all things Indian including vegetables, sweets, fruits, and snacks. Timely delivery direct to our apartment.
Abdul Sikandari: Nicely
Kaven King: Nice place to shop
Bellary Naziruddin.: Indian citizens staying in Michigan State USA can get the Indian items of grocery, biscuits, pickles, fruits, samosa, pakoda etc.
Ahmadzai Hameedullah: The staff is unprofessional and needs to understand. We were there and they checked out our items and added an extra item which we did not buy and then they said we will give you the item. Please pay attention to what you buy and how much you pay.
Ed Semmelroth: Great service
Sunayna Gurnani: The owner, jinalben and milanbhai are very helpful and will always go over and beyond to make sure you get everything you are looking for. They will also deliver to your home in winter months if needed! Best Indian store I have visited in Ann Arbor.
Jayabrata Das: My go to place for groceries in Ann Arbor. It has almost everything in terms of grocery an Indian would require. People there are polite, gentle, and super helpful. Visiting the place gives me the vibe of Indianness that I miss in USA.

Om Market: what do users think?
Matthew Spoor: Inexpensive spices and lots of selection. One complaint: many items do not have prices.
Pruthviraj Avvari: One stop destination for every Indian product .
Derek Dang: Very friendly owner and reasonable prices!
Gayatri Neelgund: Very friendly owner, mostly you get all the Indian groceries
Robert Moore: All the ingredients you'd expect at an Indian grocery store, and helpful staff.
Mario Hazza: Good Indian grocery store with some religious items
Gopal Shrestha: Great price, great service. 👍
Varshini Ramaraj: I've been going to Om Market for my Indian grocery needs for 4 years now! The uncle and aunty who run the place are so nice and kind, and it's so convenient because it's next to Kroger and the Asian store, so you can get all kinds of shopping done together!
Madhan Ramaswami: He has everything needed for a quick Indian grocery run and then some. Friendly service, has a great variety of snacks and refrigerated foods. A great neighborhood resource for Northeast Ann Arbor!!
Abdullah Alothman: Very good market, spices, and beans as well as rice are available here.
Crescent Cundy: Wonderful!! Just stumbled upon this market and was so pleased with all of the different goodies. Great selection, employees are so nice and even recommended some treats for us. Tried a variety of snacks for the first time and didn't pick a single thing we didn't love. We will be back for sure!!!!
Mikki Sharp: Great market, with a vast selection of quality products! The service is also excellent. Highly recommended Indian foods market.
Kevin Philips: good selection, prices, and service. good samosas too in my opinion
Steve Pickard: Best prices and selection of the various A2 Indian food markets. I enjoy the owner and he's always helpful with advice and good vibe. i only go here now when I need my indian food ingredients for various instapot and home cooking projects.
Prerna J: Good service and good variety of items to select from
Adithi Jagannadhan: Support local business and get Indian/Pakistani spices here. The owners are nice, helpful people who kept open and stocked during the pandemic.
Bayan Albayati: Great honest people
Sarah Koenig: Extremely nice, professional owners and staff
Chandra Sureshchandra Dhopatkar: Gujarati owned. Very nice owners/managers; very sweet and helpful. 20lb. bag of Royal basmati was only $16 plus change, a bargain. I have only found it this cheap at Sam's Club in Ypsilanti. Some items were more expensive, like Hing/Asofoetida, at $3.49 vs. 1.99 at Patel Brothers, but overall comprable. I find that shopping at multiple stores (Bombay Market, Patel Bros., Om Market, GFS, and Sam's Club) gets me the best prices on the items I purchase. I usually buy in bulk when I get the deals, which saves me lots of money over the course of the year. I liked Om Market and the vibe and honesty and transparency of the store staff. I trust them. I mostly shop Patel Bros. as I find the prices best there overall for the specific items I purchase. I shop at least once per week.
Adrian Platts: Lovely little store with a great selection of otherwise hard to find products. I would give 5 stars except that the hours are quite irregular and the only way to find these is to turn up and look on the door (today for example it was only open from 2pm to 8pm).
Joel Robbins: Great selection of spices, staple legumes and grains. Fresh and frozen traditional vegetables: curry leaves, kefir lime leaves, moringa drumsticks, sapote, taro, etc. Very reasonable prices and a decent amount of organic options. The owner is friendly and helpful. One of my favorite stores in A2!

Pande Grocers Canton (formerly Anand Bazaar): what do users think?
Nilesh Kodikal: We are regular shoppers here, stopping by every Friday since about 2019. We've been very happy with the service and selection at Pande Grocers. Great variety of millets, millet flours, lentils, and spices - significantly cheaper than big box stores. This smallish shop has a particular charm, reminiscent of the 'kiranas' of India.
Nick Smith: I shopped here to get some curry entrees. The service was absolutely superb. Very friendly and very helpful. They did not try to sell me more than I needed.I wish all retail outlets including the big chain stores throughout the country were like this small store. The retail business would be totally different with people wanting to shop more and buy more, good for the economy. Shopping should be a pleasure. They need to expand as it seems a bit crowded for the stuff they keep.
shravani sudheer: Very friend people. They respond very positively for any request by the customer. The store in charge Mr. Vijay noticed that I was taking time to find good Okra from the box. He immediately (without any hesitation) asked me to give a min so that he could bring a new box. Customer satisfaction is their prime goal.
Sunil Chalasani: This place have quite necessary Items available. Not in wide range and big place though. However we won’t be disappointed.
mayur thakore: Name changed. Pandey market.
maitrak trivedi: A new change in ownership reflects very helpful staff and numerous changes in inventory....Really wanta to give a heads up to Mr.KedarLoved to visit this place more frequently...
Pooja Patel: I used to shop at this store on quite often, but please aware of the price cheating that I experienced this time. First of all in order to use credit card the minimum is $10 I had exactly $10.09 items picked and when he ring me the total came as $10.97 when I asked he said for one of the item price was not updated and show me the bill, and guess what found out that he charged one more items price also extra, when I said that the price is not right (he pulled the price sticker when ring the item) he said that it is the right price, I think he realized that I know he is lying so he offered me to return extra money charge in coins.I am not going there again, I don’t even know how many times I have been charged extra before. This is clearly cheating when 2 out of 3 items has different price than on the pack.
Rajesh Bilaney: Excellent stre. Very friendly owners and staff
Elizabeth Quan: Anand Bazaar is a wonderful place to shop for all of the dried legumes you need plus lots of fresh vegetables and many spices, for less money than you would spend other places. I like to get spicy snacks there to pack in lunches and I get Dosa batter to make breakfast for my son and I get fresh milk sweets from the case in the very front of the shop for my sweet tooth.Lately I've been getting fresh slabs of paneer from the refrigerator in the back and we love the frozen onion kulcha and garlic naan. If you're lucky, there will be delicious samosas in the warming case by the register.
Suchet Guha: In 2010 Nov, we moved back to MI from VA. When we came upon this place, they were closed for renovations. Later mid 2012 we again attempted to visit this establishment, they were open. Since then till today 2022, we have been regular customers of this place. Nice friendly and knowledgeable staff and owners. They carry everything that we need for Indian foods. And are willing to go the extra mile to get it ordered for us if not in stock. No need for us to go to any other Indian grocery store.
Rafia Khan: Liking it more than abdu market these days just because of the behavior I get when I go ...
Dev Patel: The Uncle there was too nice, and gave the children a lollipop. Wanted the best for everyone.
Jaytrocious C: Meh
Bailey Jozwiak: I needed to buy one thing, they helped me quickly find it and were super kind. I was in and out in about 2 minutes. I really appreciated the help!
Simritjit Kaur: Been going here for years, as it was always the local spot, today I asked for a refund or exchange after an item they suggested to me turned out not to be what I asked for. But they weren’t willing to do an exchange or refund , btw that jaggery I bought tasted kinda bitter so thanks. I’ll take a look elsewhere from now on……..
Khurram Shahzad Meer: It's a good place to are desi food
Tejal Ajmera: Always fresh produce and very clean store. People are very friendly as well.
Phylicia Reed: They had just what I was looking for In hair products. I love Vatika hair products. The service was top notch and friendly.
Kiranmayee Vadday: I pretty much got everything on my list. If don't know if went at a wrong time but couldn't find fresh vegetables. Apart from that one should be able to find out their regular groceries.
patricia Savage: Top notch deals for singular items that are Mini bulk healthy spice$. Produce in a pinch T.y kind. Polite. Ambitious 😁greet!
Sbg H: Good mini indian market with friendly smile owners

New Bombay Grocers: what do users think?
Kevin cc: Have lot of products.but always check for expiry date.lot of expired products..read few comments and found they were right.
Sheikh Sahab ابوالمیر: First Time Visited There Staff are very Kind, Everything is Well Organised All kind of Pakistani and Indian Groceries available in one place also Sweets Are Very Yammy Rass Gullas Are Soo Good Next Time I Must Try SamosaNext To this store is Saad Meet house Halal Meet Shop All in One Time 🤩🤩
SRINIVASAN ISSR: Good
Omkar Singh: Price is a bit on higher side
Mukesh Chhatbar: A-Z requirements for Indians at this stores. Had mouth watering samosa at this place. Indians who are habitual to tobacco you get here ie Baba 120 and Buddhalal too.
Shubhankar Mohan: Organized, and well stocked. You’ll find everything that you need at an Indian store!
Carson Thorne: This place sells a lot of expired items, check dates before buying. I recently bought a box of cookies and it had some cookies missing from the box and very "nicely" packed for unsuspecting customers.
Kalpesh Bhatt: No price tag. Costly
Shah Nitesh: Great people, good prices and great selection of Indias finest
Varun Rawal: They stock Okay veggies. They are notorious about shoving 1000 items in a box which elderly cannot lift. Staff is no fun too.
Firdosh Batliwala: Do check the "sell by" date on everything you buy here. While the store is okay otherwise, they stock items past their expiry date or remove any stickers which show the date.
Sandeep M: Large spacious store. Generally its good store with large variety of items and choices. But couple things they need to improve efficiency so people don't waste time there.1. Clarity: Write prices clearly on items.(many items don't show prices. Its annoying to get a surprise at the check out)2. Organization: Write item names on Aisle# banner, so its easier to find things.(Most of times I have to ask someone where is some item located).3. Speed: Most importantly: Speed up the check out process. It gets really slow sometimes and long check out line. This is a roadblock for me. I stopped going there just due to this issue. They should consider self check out for people with fewer items., or other ways to speed up the check out.
Harshal Naik: Good variety
Abida Tabassum: This store is okay they carry expired things
B B: Well It was too good , excellent arrangements of vegetables, frozen vegetables, food, snacks and sweets ! All the varieties of rice, dals , millets and other grains ! For people with Indian food habits it's an delightful shopping
Srini Pinnamaneni: Lot of Indian variety.
Biju K.: Putting price on things will help a lot, but other than that it's good
Mamta Patel: All the Indian things for living there is this#1 Place for it. This shop for Indian groceries, sweet and puja kind of all stuff, some kind of Kitchen stuff, different kind of pot . And the frozen food like - vegetables, lunches, precooked and ready to cook kind of food, different parathas and sweet yogurt, ice cream are so yummy.Amazing Harble medicine collection over there. Definitely go and check there are so many more things in the shop.
Mav: This place is very clean, reasonable prices and they have alot of variety! Employees are very nice and actually help you find some products and are very helpful when you ask questions about certain products! The counter ladies are very fast and efficient
ravi daitota: I am not sure as why local authorities are taking action against these store selling foods that are past " Sell by Date" !! I always check the "Sell by " date on a product , but other day we missed to check the dates of a particular item. After consuming the food we started feeling all sorts stomach issues. I am glad it was not severe. I cheeked the date of the product and it was 2 months after its "Sell By" date. I wish I had saved the receipt but I did not. I did call the store to inform them. The first reaction from the lady who spoke to me after listening to my complaint, was " We cant refund you if you do not have the receipt" . I had to tell her again that I called to inform about the expired foods being sold not for demanding a refund. Even after that all she said was " OK". The reaction from the store made me feel that it is a common thing for them ! I did write a general complaint to the local authorities.
Aaryan Ali: It has lots of supplies that you would expect and it is a really nice big store the checkout was fast and instead of giving you a bunch of plastic bags they give you a huge cardboard box.

Anand Bazaar: what do users think?
Praveen Jayasheela (JP): Small Indian store with a lot of daily essentials. Loved it to have in our Northville neighborhood
Joe Magliocco: Very clean found all my spice i was looking for, owner very helpful and made suggestion. My spot to go for indian spices in my area of Northville.
S M: Tasty samosas. Love the place
katie houlihan: Nice Indian grocer. Samosas, vegetables and great condiments.
Satish Rao: Reasonably good sized and clean inventory of Indian grocery in convenient and quiet surroundings
Karam Karam: Very nice place
Amarjeet Kaur: Owner is very respectful and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. Some things I compared, they’re actually less than other stores. Really convenient and has all the basics plus more. If he doesn’t have something, he does his best to get it from somewhere else. Always asks any way he can help when I’m shopping.
Harleen Kaur: Would give way more than 5 stars if we could. Our whole family loves having Anand Bazaar right here near the neighborhood. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, and always willing to get things that you request & they don't have in stock.
Shashank P.: The store owner refused to give me an entry because I did not have my mask despite of me being vaccinated! His mandate is above the CDC guideline! He is stupid enough to loose the client by not offering a complementary mask. The new owners are very rude. They don't deserve to be supported.Never going back again.
Andy Patel: Friendly staff, fresh produce & fairly priced for the area of Northville. Thanks for being open!
M SN: New management at Anand Bazaar seems to be greedy!! They have jacked up all the prices!! Not fair at all...we wanted to support local business, however not the greedy ones who want to make a quick buck overnight. Please notice the price difference, every single item is atleast dollar or two more than our Indian friends in Canton, Novi and Farmington. We now make it a point to drive a few miles out to India Grocers in Farmington or ones in Canton. Not Anand Bazar anymore!!! Hate to see another business close down..hope these people learn!
Vijiyalakshmi Ganesan: It has some indian groceries , curd, butter milk even samosa but u won't get milk .
Shiva Bongu: It is an ok, Indian store. Stock is less and scarce.
Francis Wesner: COVID had us cooking at home more and trying new cuisine.....and man, I'm glad this place is here! Fantastic small place to buy those hard to find items that the big stores don't have. Oh, there's also none of the huge crowds...employees are nice and seem to be bringing in more variety. They really care and im getting good vibes.
Rani Thuluri: Great selection
Ebin Abraham: Eventhough small place, well stocked and good choice of items.
Ishaan Gupta: Excellent grocery store, I love going there with my friends to pick up snacks or groceries. The owner of the store is very kind and sweet. Definitely would recommend it :)
Sam Beri: Place is fine and would go there again for certain items. Some of the items look old. The man who is usually up front has a foul odor.
Two Tone 313: Great food
santosh Thomas: Love this place as all items are priced right. Though there are things that need improvement, it is good quick stop for vegetables, snacks and spices

Way 1 Supermarket: what do users think?
Lori Schmidt: It was okay. Found what I was looking for. Communicating with employees was a little difficult. It all worked out.
Jo Z: don't buy their TOFU in plastic container, those are out of date(but label saying couple weeks due), but after I opened the cover, inside water is sticky, all TOFU soured. This is 3rd time I bought TOFU, never again. Please see other negative posts regarding expired label on food too(my case is date is far away to be expired but food is already rotten). Selling expired food or food rotten with wrong expiration label is bad business.
Qiling Zou: Usually long queue in the checkout counter.
Karen Barbu: Hard to read lables
X. RAO: The location is great, not far from highway. Parking should not be a problem. Decent size of store with variety of Asian food, especially Chinese food (vegetable, rice, drinks, dried food, noodles, meat, bakery, etc.). Quality of products is generally good.Price is generally slightly higher than other great Detroit area Chinese supermarket, understandably with its location next to University of Michigan. One of my main complain is that the restroom is dirty and smelly (shelf area are generally better). And staff is under-staffed both at re-stocking and check out.
Xi He: I’ve bought expired food many times and found it amusing when the salesperson blamed the manufacturer for their mistake. It's the biggest joke I've ever heard! 😅
bob bob: Good selection!
JunJun: Here is nice to visit again again x100.Reasonable prices. Here is absolutely better than one Korean market.
Laura: Rich types and multiple choices, good quality and reasonable prices. Really enjoy shopping in Chinese market.
Chiharu Lau: The peel garlic is labeled $0.99 but they charged me $1.29. The cashier said the system must be correct thus the label must be wrong. The she said she would inform the manager but still charge me $1.29. I am okay with the price but not comfortable seeing one price on the tag and getting charged a different price.
Kat E: This is a large, very typical Asian grocery store. They have a good selection of everything, mostly Chinese Japanese etc. The people who are commenting that this place is 'smelly' are comparing this store to a typical American grocery store. No Asian markets are like that. This place is typical and the selection is on the larger end of the scale so I think it's great!
Budd Frye: We have been going there for years. Great store!
Richard SAT: Compressive selection of Chinese groceries.
김태현: I don’t know why a clerk seems so mad although I just asked about where a sriracha sauce.
Michael Kulpa: Overall cleanliness is mediocre at best. They do have several asian noodles that are hard to find.
Tony Wang: Selling expired food, and extremely rude customer service
Michael Thornton: Great selection, and great staff!
Marc Perroquet: I love this store!
Mark Hanss: Always have plenty of staff around, but only one working the cash register. It should not take 30 minutes to get through a checkout line.
Jared Lee: Can find and get most the Taiwanese ingredients materials
Grace Su Ming: I love this supermarket! So many options. Lots of spices. Fresh produce and meat products!
