NSF International: what do users think?
Greg Reyneke: NSF is a critical part of the development and maintenance of ANSI standards that affect drinking water amongst many others.
Lon Matero: Water employees rely on NSF International when it comes to water standards. How many of the 3,000 NSF employees are checking if this old fashioned fluoride chemical is still the best water additive? Look at the periodic table of elements; of all the things to add to water, why does it have to be the element F, one of the most dangerous and toxic elements known to man?Update: On the Ides of March, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services National Toxicology Program released a report:"This review finds, with moderate confidence, that fluoride exposure is associated with lower IQ in children. The association between higher fluoride exposure and lower IQ in children was consistent across different study populations, study locations, study quality/risk-of-bias determinations, study designs, exposure measures, and types of exposure data (group-level and individual-level). There were 19 low risk-of-bias studies that were conducted in 15 study populations, across 5 countries, and evaluating more than 7,000 children. Of these 19 studies, 18 reported an association between higher fluoride exposure and lower IQ."
Alfred Brock: This is a very attractive building on very well kept grounds. It is located on a hill with a commanding presence and view of the dell before it. The building is kept up well. The art at the front of the building and in the lobby is very attractive and interesting. This location is the world headquarters for the organization.Assembled here are a number of scientists including engineers, microbiologists, toxicologists, chemists and public health experts .They provides services and testing to organizations and governments across 180 countries involved in all major industries. The work that is done includes a wide range of testing, certification and technical services as well as human health risk assessments.
Amber Doan: A lot of bullying, and they do NOTHING about it. People get to threaten each others life in a work place, nothing happens. All I hear about is negative stuff about this place
Jim S: They masquerade as a "not for profit" but are really all about generating income for the higher up managers, executives and expansion.
James Skornicka: They are for the advancement of human health throughout the globe
Bruce Bartley: Good people to work with
Adam D: Full of academics that ask academic questions. The Mexican buffet was good!
Sandy Jordanek: Worked here as a temp for 8 great months!
Odin1177: Parking is terrible
John Schweiger: Just a work related drive by
Nazim Uddin: I went there for an interview. This company certify food, packaging and coating materials. They are typical Midwestern company with low payment with maybe little better job security.
George: Had a very informative meeting there
Angga Fauzi: Good job
Ibrahim Abbas: Wonderful place to work
Brian Hill: It's a great place to work.
Sean Caputo: Great company with super team.
James Smith: False non profit. Executives make $1-2 million dollars per year.
David DuPuis: Interesting
Danielle Kale: They were very kind although unable to test my water. They directed me to a company that can.
John Madden: These folkes make various types of bearings. You know my favorite type of bearings is ball-bearings. Unfortunately they told me that these were not bearings made of FOOTBALLS!Could you imagine that? You could drive to the big game and then just grab the old pigskin right out of your car!NSK call me if you want to persue this idea!!
