Dear Golden: what do users think?
Cara Willing: Love this shop! A2 doesn’t have a lot of options for women’s clothing, but this place is wonderful. The clothes are unique and unfussy. The store is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff has always been nothing but kind to my friends and I. Their instagram material is wonderful as well.
Hannah Conzelman: Lovely shop with a lovely owner, and wonderful selection
Chris R: Poor service and rude staff. The owner is a very unpleasant person.
Susan McLeary: Beautiful store full of well made items for the body and home. A favorite place to pick up special, unique gifts...but I often end up keeping them for myself!
Ame!ia: I’ve been wanting to visit for some time I was finally able. The shop is really a beautiful work of art and I was so happy to be there. But the staff was cold and short with me. I didn’t feel welcomed at all. My card was snatched out of my hand and I did my best to remain positive laughing most of it off. But I’ve thought about the experience a couple times since leaving... feeling mistreated. I only wish it would’ve been better.
Kate McMullan: Over the past six months I’ve purchased two vintage necklaces from Dear Golden and the items were sent quickly, packed safely, and excellent quality! I love this store and look forward to purchasing more goodies.
Becca Newland: I’ve been going to this store whenever I visit home from Portland since 2010-2014 when I was living there as an undergrad at umich. They have a lovely collection and the selection has broadened over the years to include a lot more modern stuff, which I appreciate! Fills what is otherwise a lack in Ann Arbor’s shopping scene. The same staff person ( not the owner) has worked there nearly since I started going. They have always been pretty friendly but today it felt unwelcoming and strange. I asked if a brand was local because I was curious about their sourcing and the price seemed so reasonable, and they just changed their voice and said in a fake English accent “no it’s not” but added nothing else. The accent isn’t the issue obviously but it was odd- I had to ask more about it and their voice got quiet and they almost whispered as they only said “it’s a supplier we really like in Korea”. I bought the item but not generally super into this kind of sourcing without more transparency. They do have lots of smaller independent brands, too, but just the way they navigated this just didn’t sit with me well. They also said “happy birthday” in a clearly sarcastic voice after the family member who was with me said it to me. Very uncomfortable. I will consider shopping in the future but the service is strange and I did not feel relaxed or welcomed.
Olivia McClellan: Such unique, curated and cool items! The staff is also very helpful and genuinely interested in the items they sell. I asked about what incense they were burning in their store and the person at the counter was very happy to share and give me tips and tricks on how to use it! I've burned it in my house every day since!
Christine Thibault: I never received my order and a response from them. Order: #DG1146
Wendy K: One year later: never received my package ordered by my mother (a $500 kimono) and a response from them. My comments have been deleted from instagram. Will never buy again!Order #DG1146.
Jeanne W.: Dear Golden, There are few places where I fall in love with everything! The kimonos are exquisite and every piece vibrates with an inexplicable energy. Thank you.
Gabby Hays: Everyone there is super friendly and they always have really cute stuff.
zam Issa: The best🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✨
Rivsofwater: Beautiful pieces but rude, dismissive staff.
Lindsey Lincoln: Beautifully curated little shop downtown. Shop for unique and handmade jewelry, gifts, and beauty products. They also have a great selection of vintage and slow fashion pieces.
Sarah Fishburn: I loved this little shop. The shopgirl was perfectly nice, albeit distracted.
Giulia Ippolito Lane: Favorite shop in AA!
Cassie Shamey: My favorite vintage store. Beautifully curated items and lovely display.
Lisa Bradley: Beautiful vintage store. I always can go there and find a dress that is in excellent condition and well-priced.
Nadia Lewis: Best vintage store on the internet -- trust me, I own a lot of vintage. ;)
Alexandra M.: Love this store. Scored two really nice vintage rings for $20

Dry Goods: what do users think?
Dawn Green: I have shopped this store weekly for about the past year .. today I return a romper WITH THE receipt! I am told that because there was no tag attached THAT only store credit can be given.. HOWEVER, I called the store before hand and asked about this issue explained that I have the receipt and clearly the romper was not worn. I am told “ NO WORRIES” “ I the store manager “ .. only to deal with the ignorance of debate once I’m there. DONE! It’s sad stores are hurting so bad for help that they clearly can’t get the correctly trained people to do the damn JOB! It’s almost as if we’re better off dealing with online shopping when u get the same treatment! Pathetic
Cody Winchester: Just was in the store for 10 minutes, no other customers, 2 employees talking behind the counter and not even an acknowledgement.
Breanna Dailey: Wish I owned this store
Lyn Marshall: Fun to browse through. Clean and organized.
suhani patel: This is the first time i shopped here. It was very interesting cloths a little different from what we see at JCP and other stores. Very helpful associates. Loved the designs. Taking one star out due to the prices were little more on the expensive side. Otherwise great experience will be visiting there again for their sale items.
Sarah Gerlach: Auch a cute store. Lots of little unique items
Bonnie Ohye: Great store, stylish clothes and awesome customer service.
Eliza S: This store is super cute and has chic, classy, and beautiful pieces of clothing. They have fun, and fashionable accessories. There is a Michigander table with Michigan inspired clothes and accessories. This place is reasonably priced and offers a great selection in style. A must go to for shopping! It has a boutique feel and I love that.
Jackie Vogt: Cute boutique clothing store with reasonable prices. Great for casual clothing and inexpensive accessories. I love that it's organized by color palette. The staff is super friendly, willing to give honest opinion, and help suggest pieces.

Forever 21: what do users think?
Tracy Welch-Konett: I love love love the clothing here. Even when stupid clumsy me spilled coffee on the skirt, it was very easy to clean out!!
G s: Extremely disappointed in the store I will not be back. I was not acknowledged by any staff members. I am a size extra large and there was not one piece of extra large closing in this entire store that I could find. The employee I asked told me they didn’t have any. They only had extra small through large. Am I back in 2004? Having stores in the most obese country in the world you would think they would offer extended sizes.
J C: The store says it opens at 11am. Went there at 11 closed. Waited until 11:30 still closed🤷🏻‍♀️
Genevive Remsing: I used to love shopping at Forever 21 until they closed down the fitting rooms. I totally understand that they close down to the pandemic to the pandemic however, most if not all other companies have reopened their fitting rooms months ago. There are so many beautiful clothing pieces that I would love to try on in the store but I don't feel comfortable buying unless I can try them on. I honestly feel like I would spend much more money like I did pre pandemic at Forever 21 is the fitting rooms were open and this is isn't about this particular location, but some other locations have their fitting rooms open, which makes me wonder if this was a choice every store was allowed to make individually.
Christopher Demetriou: Some reason it says you open at 10 but you’re not open?
Veronica Nelson: My baby likes this store
Brittany W: Store is ok. Customer service terrible. Went in and purchased a dress. I wanted to try it before I left but an associate told me the dressing rooms were closed. Got the dress anyway with the intention to bring it back if it didn’t fit and I made this clear at the counter. Cashier said nothing about it. When I returned to bring the dress back, the manager insisted it’s final sale and refused to take it back. I understand that it is but not cool that neither associate thought to mention that to me when I was clearly misled in thinking I could bring it back
Pamela Weaver: Good prices. Cute clothing.
Nadia Johnson: Literally no customer service… no hi, do you need help, nothing… dry attitudes… When I got to The counter to check out their Apple Pay was not working which is fine. I stood there for a whole two minutes try to scan while the cashier just stood there and looked at me and when I asked if the Apple Pay was not working she said I guess not..
elda harris: Nice sales and the employee was new (2nd day) was very nice and helpful. The manager was also very nice and helpful. But the other employees were not as friendly or helpful.
Honest J: They don’t have size 10 1/2 they only go up to size 10. I asked if there was somewhere I could try on my shoes, they told me to sit on a table or wherever I can find. Once I did this one of the employees made their way from behind the checkout desk where they were, to follow me and stand near me while I was trying the shoes on. They were not in Plain view they were hiding behind clothing, however I knew I was being watched. This made me feel uncomfortable because they were not trying to be seen or help me, so I felt rushed to purchase and so I did and left. As an African American, I definitely felt profiled and followed at this location. If I wasn’t monitored the way I was, I probably would not have purchased what I purchased due to uncomfortability.
A Marines: This store was a mess. Is this chain supposed to look like this? Clothes were on the floor (sales floor). Anything on a hanger were tangled up with other hangers. It took me 2 minutes to unravel sundress straps from the hanger next to it! Kinda like a vine plant when it latches onto another? 🤣 absolutely NO one walking around asking if anyone needed assistance. First and last visit for this place. 👎
Jessica Miles: Would give zero stars horrible experience
Nataly Perez: As they opened up their store amid the pandemic I went in to do some summer shopping. I asked a worker there if we can try things on. That was a no, which I understand, I just said I’ll stick to regular clothes then and will not be taking the clearance items. She then said all clearance items are returnable during this time due to the pandemic and not being able to try things on. I believed her, came back the next day and was refused a refund and was told the girl was new -.-
Gabrielle Joseph: The worst experience I’ve ever had in a store. I was trying clothes on in the fitting room, and needed a different size. Unsure of the store policy on whether I’d have to go out and get the new size or the worker in the fitting room would go get the new size for me, I asked. (I worked at Victoria’s Secret for three years where we would ALWAYS assist the customers in the fitting room).Upon asking, the worker looked at me, laughed, and said, “Who do you think I am? That’s funny. You have to go get your own stuff.” All with such a rude, condescending tone.Safe to say, I got dressed and left. Never will I spend money here.
Kazem Esfahanian: Very reasonable price for everything in store
Yolanda Ventura: Favourite place to shop.
Meme H.: Please dont spend your money with forever21.... their clothes are poorly made and if you have a problem and call their customer service is terrible to say the least. I wish you luck if you decide to spend money with forever21
Pao Garacu: Terrible, always a mess and super expensive for such a bad quality cloth
Emily Darow: I'm very happy with the sweater I got for $3!!!
Saima Kazi: Not a good experience at all. Items are dirty and shabbily displayed and absolutely zero help from the staff.

Ragstock: what do users think?
CJ PlaysPS4: It's like an upscale goodwill think maklemores "thrift shop"
Mac Rawr: YESSSSSSS! I GOT SUCH CUTE STUFF THERE IT WAS AMAZING DEFINITELY A WIN
Jacqueline A: It has been years since I have been in the store. I popped in last week and was so pleasantly surprised. Such a fun and eclectic assortment of new and vintage recycled items. It brought back all the awesome vibes. The staff was always available no matter where in the shop you were. I look forward to my next visit.
Chris R: Lovely staff and selection.
vadermask mass//retaliation: One of my favorite clothing stores in downtown Ann Arbor (second only to Sam's just down the street from Ragstock!). I have bought from this place an awesome pair of Levi's camoflouge pants ($15), a black nylon flight jacket (new, $22), several used but not used-up flannel shirts ($10), a few short & longsleeve checkered button up (brand new $15), and a brand new Rothco brand camoflouge t-shirt for $5!This store reminds me of The Cat's Meow which was on State Street, just off of Liberty. Used and new military-type clothing, punk & new wave fashion, and hipster clothes too! Palatable music playing and mostly non-pretentious employees here at Ragstock. I love it!
Amanda LaVictoire: Love the recycled/resale items here! I always find cute dresses, comfy sweatshirts and unique finds. Especially love when they have a 30% off sale!
Ashley Dinsdale: Pretty good location, you can find some great vintage here! Although the vintage half of the store is priced well, the other half sells fast fashion a bit overpriced for what it is
Stacy Wolf: Nothing for tall women or people who eat three meals per day. Short women with eating disorders will find plenty to wear, though.
David Phillips (Erlynos): Vintage alot if the goodbye!
Alyssa Abbate: It's so cramped and the product is such junk. Literally all of the low quality or old t shirts are over $20, whether it's from the thrift store or is a super cheap shirt from China. This place has really gone downhill. I don't remember the used clothing being so expensive. Who is paying $20 for a used t shirt ($30 for "nice" ones)?
hali fortuna: So many flannels I love this store. They had great deals and sales
John Mohn: Overpriced IMO. What's with all the men's clothes being completely amd hopelessly wrinkled. It's like they jam as many items as they can into an industrial dryer and leave the bundle in there to cure. I will say, good selection of denim jackets, and those are reasonably priced. Those earned them the four stars.
evan wink: workers literally always have terrible attitudes and everything is way over priced at a flat rate. Soo many other 2nd hand stores in A2 worth trying instead
Ari: cool stuff here but kinda expensive
craftgirl 1224: Terrible size inclusivity, the largest size of the cute things in store is a XL. Very sad , and the online larger sized stuff isn't any of the cute stuff.
rose bellizio: I love the place I love there clothing the problem is if you're a bigger person don't try to shop there it is minimal fitting cloths the Accessories are great though !!
Joanna Causey: Very cool place
Samantha Leathers: Fun place!
Kylie Fagan: Fun assortment of clothing and large sale area. Great trendy options as well as some vintage.
Amy K. Milligan: Though it is obviously geared toward college kids, it is my teens' favorite place to shop. Super queer- and trans-kid friendly
Stephanie Benedict: The store was clean and well organized by style and even color. Didn't find what I wanted this time but I'm definitely going to go back.
