My only complaints would be that their' records system couldn't see my U of M file, and I just didn't feel up to repeating my whole history & meds; and that the note the PA write for me didn't include her recommendations to my PCP. Otherwise, staff was pleasant, and I'd go here again if needed. This was on a Friday early afternoon.

Daniel Saulles: I would give them negative stars if I could. A simple strep test took 8 days to get a call back on. That is only after calling them multiple times and sitting on hold for 30+ minutes each time and being assured I would get a call back. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY DO NOT PROVIDE HEALCARE THEY ARE JUST THERE TO COLLECT THE INSURANCE PAYMENT.

Courtney Cade: I went in for a hip injury i only saw the Dr for probably less then a minute he didn't even look at it and just ordered an x Ray, the tech who did the x Ray took horrible pictures and radiology couldn't even diagnose what is wrong with my hip because the pictures were so bad, it also took a week to get the results and I had to walk into the urgent care to get my results 6 days later! No one cared to even call or give Me a call back. Now I have to find another place to go to get a new xray
David Smith: I didn't know I could make an appointment. So people were coming in After I got there. And going before me. It took an hour and a 1/2. For a simple. Drug test for work.
Lighthawk: Easy to make an immediate appointment for Covid testing. Fairly short wait time at clinic. A PA interpreted results. Medicare covered the visit 100%.

Cody Gillett: Been in and out of malnutrition and Everytime i go in to get help i always face difficulty. I believe it is because im homeless and i speak my mind when i get screwed over. This one time i had the meal slip in front of me yet as soon as i get it filled out i get escorted out and had missed dinner. How can the #1 rated hospital deny someone food? Its inhumane and unjustified. A hospital is there to help those in need and yet i get the worst treatment and resentment from my doctor and nurses. Yes i complain about the service, but homeless people need to eat to. This system is inconsiderate to the needs people have. Thus hospital could end homeless hunger but their pockets are too fat and stuck up for any proper help where someone actually needs it. I have servere cavity decay and so most the food given out i cant be eat by and i feel my body decaying every day cause i cant be eat appropriately. This needs to change and today they finally gave me tickets for $10 worth of food but i still had to fight arm and leg for it. Malnutrition is a real problem and it needs to be changed for the betterment of the community

Tom Caldwell: Pros: you'll get cared for by some of the best doctors in the country! FYI: This is a teaching hospital.Cons: parking is horrible! You can expect some long wait times for your appointment.I've had an appointment scheduled and then arrive only to say sorry we forgot you, and the doctor isnt here! That can be horrible for someone who drove a distance to get here.

Sreechandana Anumolu: I've had to frequent UHS for many things over the last 5 years and was always met with the most helpful and knowledgeable staff and providers. I even went to UHS to get second opinions after my primary care physician couldn't give me the time of day for my concerns. Thank you for taking care of me throughout college and I hope everyone else has a great experience with them.
Majid Aalizadeh: The staff are either depressed here or they hate their job :)) the lady who was making the appointment over the phone was almost screaming on me aggressively when I asked her to give me an appointment for afternoon instead of morning, since I was too ill to get out of the bed early. It is fine, I hope she feels mentally better.
Tammy Elkins: I have been going to UHS for years, my PCP, Jasmine Parvaz, MD Phd. is simply amazing. I am able to get an appointment quickly for urgent needs. She is always there responding to my portal messages quickly with excellent advice. I really can't imagine going any place else for my medical care.
mikayla peterson: I had a terrible experience at UHS and won’t be returning. An older male staff member made an extremely inappropriate comment about my body. As a 19 year old female, I was very uncomfortable. Aside from this, the staff seemed very unorganized and unprofessional. The only positive interaction I had was with a nurse.
Anna Bruce: If you are a student at UMich, DO NOT go see Dr. Julia Andrea Bemer unless you’d like to be told “Nothing is wrong with you. Other people have it worse” after describing in detail how you have been consistently sick for months with 0 explanation.
Katharine Daniels: Was told I couldn’t schedule an appointment over the phone during their posted open hours (no reason given) and would have to call back another day. Really weird; do not recommend based on that.
Elaina Ryan: I was just there for a 15 minute appointment, and the staff was so rude that I just walked out. I will not deal with the blatant disrespect. I followed the directions that the receptionist gave me exactly, and once I got there was rudely yelled at to leave because I was in the wrong spot. I went back downstairs, and the receptionist repeatedly told me to go to the wrong spot.
My Seppo: Editing my review to say the five stars are down to one. This must’ve changed all the staff. I’ve never met more rude and unhelpful staff. I recommend staying home and being sick there. You’ll just get more sick here anyway. Honestly you’d be better off laying outside and dying slowly than seeking care here. Go else where.GREAT experience here. I’ve been to more than average university health services bc of my job and this is by far the best performing one. I’ll also note that the receptionist I spoke to was super kind and considerate.
Renly Hou: I visited the eye clinic for contact lenses. The doctor knew my vision coverage but still prescribed me precision1 which is not an in-network contact lens. I have to pay $90 for fitting and $32 for just 3-month contact lenses. I don't know why the doctor didn't prescribe me an in-network contact lens which is free of all charges.
Alex Bamford: Went in to hopefully get antibiotics for my cough and congestion. Waited an hour for the doctor who proceeded to ask me if she thought this was related to my cancer that I had 6 years ago. Worst medical experience I have ever had…and I have had cancer.
Ava Ben-David: Please do not come here. First of all, it took me two days to make an appointment for a small ailment. Then I finally get to UHS and the people are just so rude it’s insane. I am seen by a NP, she was nice. I was prescribed something and they told me to wait twenty minutes for the pharmacy to open. So I waited and then they tell me they don’t take my insurance (they had insurance information the whole time just so you know). So then I went to CVS. Absolutely terrible experience and no respect for people’s time.

Zach Spam: I went in there to get a feel about what was wrong with me. I was so sick I had lost 12 lbs over the course of a week, and had severe muscle aches and couldn’t walk more than a 1/4 mile without needing to take a break. Among many other things. I had taken at home tests and all came back negative for COVID. But a PCR test came back positive. And instead of offering anything to try to help me feel better I was told to go home and basically cope. God awful. Ran extremely poorly. Go literally anywhere else for medical attention.
Monkey Dee: The misdiagnosis of a chronic wound gave me a scar. But comparing to the UHS of my graduate school which only gives flu shots and provides Covid tests, UM UHS at least has real medical staff.
Sam Gil: Appointment required. I've got a concussion. Sorry I didn't see this coming but I really shouldn't be waiting for an appointment.
Megan Threats: I had a really great experience with the travel immunization clinic and the laboratory. The RN Michelle was very nice, and did a great job explaining everything I would need to know concerning my vaccinations and health/wellness while traveling abroad. The nurse who drew my blood listened to me and drew from a location on my body I am most comfortable with. I received my lab results with 24 hours. Very pleased with my experience at UHS.
Yongtong Lao: I would say doctors are caring but not helpful. In the last 5 years, I have been misdiagnosed a few times and prescribed the wrong antibiotics. I had a chronic infection that is lasting months and I am sent to different doctors in UHS but none of them treated my problem. Also I keep having my appointment messed up, for example, I booked an appointment at 2pm and will receive a confirmation that the appointment is at 11am. (worse case, I book one tomorrow and the appointment turns out to be in 2 months). I hope university of michigan starts to care about the wellbeing of a student.
Bernardo Modenesi: These guys do a miracle supporting the whole UofM community with medical services at zero or very low cost to the students, relatively quickly. I've been using their services for 6 years, and they are hardworking and kind. I honestly do not understand why their rating is so low, but probably due to spoiled undergrads who still aren't aware of how the health system in the US is really rough (to say the least) and don't realize what an awesome service UHS provides.
Rex Fung: They have the worst scheduling system imaginable. If you manage to survive till an appointment, it's actually pretty decent.

David Douthat: We have used Care Transport many times to take my mother to her eye injection appointments. She is in a wheelchair and on continuous oxygen. The transport vans are well equipped and the drivers are knowledgeable, friendly and very courteous. When we contact the company to schedule pick ups the phone staff is great. We highly recommend their services and will continue to use them in the future.

Tracy Edwards: I used Care Transport's wheelchair service and they were wonderful. The drivers were prompt, polite and very helpful. I am using them again for when I go in for outpatient surgery. I highly recommend this service.
Cami Prater: The price gouging is insane. Most of the individuals using their services are handicapped but in a matter of 6 months prices are increasing over $100 per ride. Drivers are hit or miss with professionalism. Scheduling can also be hit or miss. Make sure you verify your rides or you may not even be on the schedule and miss your appointments!

I Kadria Portuesi: I was diaresied during the day & on the way back from the hospital to the rehab center needed to stop where there wasn't easy access to a restroom. I was in a wheelchair and when we stopped at a gas station the restroom wasn't viable. He drove me to a RiteAid due to urgency. We handled the situation with the help of a couple of RiteAid employees. My driver's name is Fathi whose English isn't that well but he handled my situation brilliantly. Thank you.
Sharron Russell: I had to go from south of Belleville to St. Joseph Hospital in Brighton for surgery and used your service. I am writing to say the service was great. The driver was at my house at the designated pickup time and dropped off me and my daughter at the hospital with time to spare so we did not have to rush to get me to the designated surgery area without having to rush. After the surgery when it was time to go home my daughter called the number and by the time the nurse had brought me to the front entrance the driver was there waiting for us for the return trip which also went perfect. I will use this service again and would recommend it to my family and friends. Great Job Care Transport keep up the good work!
I Swan: The driver arrived early and seemed very impatient with everyone. Then didn’t wear a mask in the van. After our doctor visit, it has so far been 40 minutes since I called to say we were done. No one is here yet. We have used them before and often have a 45 minute wait or so. The hospital entry cleared out with people leaving with peoples express and other transport agencies at least 4 times over so far today. Only we are left here like fixtures.

Peggy: The driver came unprepared to get my husband in the house. He was rude and tried to blame me because he didn't know what to do. My husband sat in my garage for an hour before he got help and put him in the house. Then his partner said we can't put him in his wheelchair you have to. This is my second and last time they will be allowed to transport my husband. I wouldn't let them to transport my dog.

Marsha Corey: When I required daily medical treatment for over six weeks Care Transport provided excellent service. The office people were very helpful in assisting me to get financial aid. The dispatchers were reliable and accommodating when my schedule fluctuated. But mostly, the drivers were all ( I had 7 different drivers overall ) kind, respectful, and very caring. They made a painful and difficult time in my life easier.

Nicole Davis: Suggested my daughter go there to get tested for strep throat. The doctors said her test was negative and advised her to take Tylenol for the cold symptoms and throat discomfort. After doing what was suggested, she didn’t get better. So, I took her to another Urgent Care and later learned she had strep throat and was prescribed antibiotics. The staff is incompetent at this establishment and I wouldn’t suggest this as an option to anyone.
Angela Keene: Awful!! Do not go here!! My son was told he needed a prescription and they never sent it to the pharmacy. He and I tried calling repeatedly. But they don’t answer their phones and the system actually hangs up on you after you wait for way too long. Unbelievable that they call themselves a health “care” provider. Find another urgent care if you’re looking for actual care.

Rachael Beckley: Didn't open on time, staff made excuses, when doing my TB test didn't have bevel under my skin and squirted injection at me, then said oops. Pulled needle out and put same needle in my arm.

Ryan DeCook: Had an employment drug test. They did the test. It was mostly professional. It took an hour just to start though and the lady performing the test seemed like she’d rather be anywhere else the whole time. So they do give you care. Just don’t expect it to be at all timely or for it to feel personal in any way.
Terrell Fluellen: The process to get a drug screen done here was entirely too long. Waiting over 1 1/2 hours to pee in a cup is ridiculous. The lobby was so over crowded there were people sitting on the floor. But once I did go back there was younger African American braids gentleman who was extremely cool with the process and my time. He got straight to the point for me to be able to get out of there.

Julie Rowe: The front desk staff and medical assistant and medical assistant in training were wonderful people to deal with. However you could tell right off the bat the physician wanted absolutely nothing to do with being there.
Laurel Sarkissian: As a medical professional, I couldn’t imagine giving my patients the care that I received here. The MA and the reception staff were all kind, but the doctor was atrocious. She completely blew off my concerns so that she could make sure to get my injury qualified as a worker’s comp claim. When finding ways to make sure the claim goes through is more important than actually diagnosing the issue, you know you’ve lost sight as a doctor. Guy Johnson: I have been there several times it a good clinic but when it’s busy it can be a while before they get to you. I went in for a drug screen test and it took an hour and a half to get it done.
Ann Woodra: Front desk was very nice. Blood draw was quick and pain free(no tearing when needle was taken out:)

holly Smith: Some of the comments made me chuckle and roll my eyes. Some of you have clearly never been to a Jackson medical facility or urgent care. And those of you whining that you held your pee for too long...... seeing that they're busy, you know you have time to pee if you have to go. There's a bathroom inside the entrance. I had to pee when I got there. Waited about a half hour before asking if it'd be a while yet. The girl say, oh yes... (they were busy) So I went pee. Knowing I wouldn't be able to hold it much longer. It was about another 40 minutes before I got called back and I did have to pee again. They service a lot of employers as well as urgent care. It's common sense not to go at peak hours. Go when they open. That's d*mn near any urgent care/walk in. Lots of whiners out there.
