Knight's Market: what do users think?
jack b: This place is the bomb! Perhaps Ann Arbor's best kept secret. It is a small, authentic market. Food is high quality and prices are very reasonable, especially when compared to a Whole Food's or Plumb Market. Their prepared foods are delicious, really delicious, and come in handy for mid-week meals. Shopping here is a treat. It is my new go-to place.
apollo wellstein: The people here are nice and respectful, and while they might not have as much stuff as you'd expect from a large chain, their selection is pretty nice.
Mai Urai (M4I): Cannot believe this place has only 47 reviews. It’s an absolute hidden gem for those who don’t know! I just got a T-bone steak as today was my boyfriend’s birthday. The cut was very reasonably priced for butcher quality (16.99/lb). And wow we finished in 10 mins it was that good (and I miraculously managed to cook perfectly, too lol) I will definitely return when I want steaks or any beef for special occasions.
Sandy Eyl: My first time here! nice small shop, will see if the tenderloin lives up to the $45 per pound price tag.
Brian Buchanan: If you are going to grill your own burgers, this is the place to get them. Fresh buns, cheese, tomatoes, or whatever you like to put on them, it is fresh and reasonably priced. A+
William Irvine: Very clean. Friendly employees, very helpful.
Barbara u. Rick Hobbie u. Mancke: We lived nearby from 1971-1974 and it was famous for aged prime beef then. Wonderful to read it's still unrivaled.
Nick Hadwick: The butcher is the store's focus, and their beef is second to none. It's a great neighborhood grocery. It's small, but has the essentials, and more. The homemade rolls are just like the ones served at their restaurants.
Ur Mom: You guys, the Thanksgiving Feast was absolute perfection. Delicious, hearty, so many leftovers. The best store bought holiday meal I’ve ever had Thank you so much for all your hard work!
Dr Gus: Very nice selection for being so close to the neighborhood. Very good prices as well. No complaints here.
Nancy Herlocher: Great neighborhood market 👍
Trooper Long: Just picked up prime rib roast. Looks beautiful!
Michelle Belle: Although the different deli & bakery items taste great, prices are crazy, typical in Ann arbor and the staff who were there today, very rude barely acknowledged my grandaughter & I.
Anthony Oliver: Any meat I've purchased from here has been very fresh and great. Some of the best pork sausage I've ever had. Definitely recommend stopping in and checking out some of the meat options. Also nice they have a small grocery selection so if you need a pairing with an entree it's there in addition to beer.
hans hiser: Nice meat market the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Plus they are willing to do special orders.
Janice K. Nelson: Best little store around!
Julie Frick: .I have been going to Knights market since 1978.. Some food options have changed but it is still the best neighborhood store a person can have. Constantly thriving, so much so that there isn't even a sign for the market. Part of that is because it started as a butcher shop and still has the best meat in town, which draws people from all over Ann Arbor. The staff is always friendly and helpful: it's mostly family run. New additions are their own bake goods and wild caught fish.
Jennifer Burg: Great meat and premade food. Limited selection (of a small grocery store) but they have everything you need. Love this place
Robert Weinstein: This place looks like a meat locker from the outside I think that's what it is all the beef looks great and it looks authentic this is one of one
Barbara Daoust-Westbrooks: Excellent meats!
Mason Herr: Not sure if call it a meat market but im from jackson and comparing to A &A or Prime Cuts

Knight's Southside Market: what do users think?
Derek Wright: Sparce selection of meat. A bit better then our local grocery store.
Brian Craig: I come here to get steaks. They have the best steaks in town and I cook a steak that’s better than Ruth Chris at a fraction of the cost.
Michael St.John: Excellent. Quality products. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Jeanne Dotson: WOW AMAZING MEAT DEPARTMENT.....I love the fully made meals that are very reasonable prices. Most 10 to 12 $ . What a great place to shop. Another super winner Knights!!
joseph dorris: Small market with EXCELLENT service and quality products. Can get in and out quickly.
Guy Rousseau: Very nice place. Nice selection of fancier products. Very good meat. Place is a bit remote, I hope it won’t affect the business.Keep in mind that there is no butcher at the location itself though so they won’t cut specific pieces for you on the spot. You can order and have the requested cuts within a couple of days.
Leah Palmer: Great service and super nice selection of meat and other foods
Mandy Leonard: Their prepackaged dinners are delicious! We love picking them up for an easy dinner, and it's nice everyone can choose what they like. Lots of choices! Staff is also always friendly and helpful.
Thomas Meloche: I was looking for a local butcher with fresh and local meats and didn’t realize that Knights had opened a branch right by me. I am totally delighted. We love the meat we buy from Knights! They also have fresh salads, ready to go meals, wine,… Absolutely wonderful store!
John Bogdasarian: Love Knights meats, rubs, etc. So close and convenient. If you need to pick up a few things, it’s great!
Corey Wright: Nice
Clete Bjornstad: We have lived in Ann Arbor for around 40 years and during that time Knight’s restaurant has been an important part of our special times and family celebrations. We have enjoyed the fantastic Manhattans, the delicious pasta, fish, desserts and wonderful service.Last week we bought some items at the Knight’s Southside Market There was a bit of a misunderstanding between us and the manager. I am happy to report that this problem was solved in a positive manner and we are still fans of Knight’s.A business is not judged when everything works out perfectly but rather when there are some problems. Knight’s passed this challenge and we are still fans.
Bill Glesner: Not only do they have great meat but also take and bake meals as well.
Jeffrey Parker: All of the prepared meals and sandwiches are excellent! Pricey, but everything is super high quality.
Richard J: A nice little market with quality products. Meats are there specialty and they always do well with those. They also have a small deli counter for lunch meats etc. I will definitely go there again.
Bob Vannini: Very good selection of products, excellent customer service.
Candice Wilson: Great selection in a small format. They have Boar' Head lunch meat, a great butcher case, and a nice variety of staples focusing on higher quality brands. Clean and well layed out with friendly, helpful staff. Great for a quick grocery trip with plentiful parking. Overall it is my idea of the perfect small grocery store.
Sheryl Esau: Yummy! Load up your burger and enjoy!
Lawrence Grover: Definitely up scale prices. Beautiful meats.
Chris Wagner: Knights never disappoints!
Craig Pfeifer: Nice selection of unique and delicious grocery items with a fantastic butcher shop. Also has a refrigerated case with dairy and other goodies.

KAS Deer Processing: what do users think?
James Monroe: Nice operation. Well labeled and organized parking. Very patient and thorough. Everything just as the web site says it is!
Bob Smith: I’ve been using Kasper’s meats for over 20 years& have nothing but good things to say about this family owed business! The smoked meats are increasingly tasty!! Back in 2016, I brought Ken 275 lbs of moose for grind/sausage/& vacuum packing. The packages were labeled & identified as needed perfectly! Some folks will complain about volume/weight return…this is because of 1 of 3 reasons-1) Kasper’s always trim all non-edible meat away-(what body parts did you destroy?did you rinse out deers interior cavity?= less meat)2) That 180-200 lb that ya got, only weighed 120-150 field dressed3) Or truly don’t realize, that it takes more volume to create Jerky/sausage/brats etcI would recommend Kasper’s meats to anyone, which I have done consistently in the last 20 years & will do in the next 20 years god willing. Great people & great products!! Thx again for your services
S Kassab: KAS IS The Best!!! Great Family run business with excellent customer service, turn around time, and mouth watering smoked sausage. Friendly, Honest, Oraganized and Professional!! I'll never go anywhere else.
Hunter Parvu: Great place been coming here for years caped my deer while I waited and was a really kind atmosphere. I also got the most meat I’ve ever got out of the deer and the sausage was excellent. Definitely recommend.
Jack Worden Outdoors: I made my reservation and dropped my deer off and had a great experience! I got a ton of sausage and all my cuts were awesome! Definitely am coming back with all my deer and recommend this place
Chuck Brodie: Prices on par for the area and they are very organized.
James Vlcek: Just dropped off today for my first time. But the people were incredibly nice and the facility is incredibly clean for what most are used to when it comes to deer processing. Hoping the food tastes as good as the experience dropping off was. I will update my review once I get back my deer.
Nicholas Ingram: This guy's are the best in the business!
Jerry Menyhart: Top notch deer processing! Discovered them last year when no one was accepting new kills and I'm glad I did. They are professional in every sense of the word!! They vacuum seal and label all packages and their sausage sticks are all very good! This is my second year and third deer processed here and I have always been happy with their services.
John Sutherland: They always do a great job with my deer and AWESOME sausage and jerky!!!!
Matthew Woodward: I drive an hour out of my way just to go here. Great customer service, very friendly. I love how my deer is packaged!!!!
Jake Stacey: Usually I process my own deer but this year because I shot it so close to the holiday weekend I decided to take it in for my first time. I was pleasantly surprised! Wasn't sure what to expect but the women at the front desk who helped me were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. I was in and out in about 10 minutes on a Saturday, and they texted me to get my meat on Monday! Also, I usually get about 40 lbs out of a decent sized deer in the end. I weighed my bags from Kasper and got back 50 lbs of uncut meat (no pork) and it looks very clean and is EXTREMELY well packaged. These guys definitely know what they're doing and are very reasonably priced. I will be returning without question.
Scott Konuszewski: The best place. Highly recommend.
Jake P: Awesome work. The processor I used for years retired so I needed a new one. This place was a bit out of the way but there website was super helpful. All the prices and services were explained. Just pick a time slot for drop off and they do the rest. They had a huge selection of options such as sausage, jerky, and snack sticks. I opted to have them do a little of all of it and was not disappointed. All the meat was vacuum sealed and labeled. I couldn’t believe how much meat I got back. They offer services for antler removal, caping, and will remove the head for euro mounts. They also gave me an accurate time frame (about 6 days). They are not the cheapest around but the quality of the work definitely warrants the cost. Very nice and clean shop. Will definitely use them again!
Elizabeth “Lucy”: My husband took his deer to KAS this season. He dropped it off last Sunday 10/31. Yesterday evening he received a phone call it was ready for pickup. First thing this morning 11/6 he went and picked up the venison. Hands down this has been a terrific experience. He can't stop talking about how:* Friendly the people are.* Clean the facility was.* Fast the process was from start to finish.* Impressed with how the venison was packaged.* We received ALL the meat from the deer. (In the past at another facility we did not receive the whole deer.)** We did not feel like processing the deer ourselves this year so I chose KAS. I am pleased with my choice.*** Thank you to all the people at KAS Deer Processing. We appreciate and respect your work!!!Until next season, Jim & Elizabeth 😉
Matt Comuth: Super clean and organized, the new location is AWESOME
Edward Madrigal: It’s hard to find a good quality deer processor anymore. My brother in-law pointed me in the right direction this past year and I’m completely satisfied. It’s well worth the 45min drive from house. Just picked up my deer sausage sticks this morning and their amazing. Well worth the money for the quality you get in return. Everything is vacuumed packed and trimmed perfectly. This will be my go to spot and I will refer everyone I can. Thank you KAS !
El Perro: Nice folks and what deer meat I did receive back was trimmed nicely and packaged well. Although I must say the amount of meat I received back was VERY LOW for the size deer I brought in. And I have a lot of experience in knowing what I should have received, with almost 50 deer over the years. It wasn’t even close.
Toney Rolin: Great service all around
Eric Hamilton: Awesome place
Billy Turmanator: Great service and people , good prices I will be going back

Arbor Farms Market: what do users think?
Kate S: Nice market with plenty of local options. Good sandwiches, made to order. The fresh lemonade is great.
Zach Wilkinson: Conveniently located.Great wine selection.Limited bread selection.Deli items run low near closing.Often difficult to make a left-turn exit on to northbound W Stadium. Might need to turn right or take the rear exit.
Caitlin Vigneau: Great selection!! Small but never crowded and always has everything I need on my list. Pricey, but I seem to spend the same amount no matter what grocery I go to for the week.
Shari Mueller: Gift shopping and little bite for me!
Maddison Evelyn: Very good, great vegetarian options! Highly recommend! Local
Ivy Lokojarvi: They have a lot of products that you can’t find other places. Good deli food and alcohol selection. Lots of local products. Small privately owned business with only 4 check out lanes. Best time to go is first thing in the morning or close to closing time to avoid long lines.
