Ross Medical Education Center: what do users think?
christine chavez: Ross medical education center ( Ann Arbor ) The medical assisting program is amazing! The instructor Mrs. Hall will make sure you have all the knowledge and clinical skills to be an excellent medical assistant! I finished with a 4.0 all the way through and I’m almost done with my externship! If you’re thinking about doing the program I 100% recommend Ross medical in Ann Arbor!
Katherine Ayala: This school has helped me learn so much. The staff is so helpful. I am pursuing dental assisting at the moment. The instructor Ms. May is absolutely AMAZING! She is such a great teacher and really cares about helping us students learn and better understand. Especially when someone needs extra help, she is always there and no matter what always has the answer and always gets back to us ASAP, even when we are out of class. She pushes us and challenges us. I think it’s awesome! Honestly there is not many teachers like her. She is definitely a God send. Thank you Ms. May! 😊
Jayshanish Gross: Are you able to transfer the CNA credits to a community college ?
Emilee: I didn’t have the best experience here. I was totally new to this atmosphere and it is a one week program so it was really hard for me to learn EVERYTHING in one week. My instructor would get frustrated that I didn’t catch on fast enough, and she lost my tb test form and blamed it on me when she had everyone else’s but mine! And when I worked on the clinical hours she put me with a lady that was rough on students and fast paced (keep in mind the instructor knew I was a slower learner and put me with this person) me and the lady got into a little fight because I was confused and needed help and she told my instructor that I incompetent to work in a CNA field and the instructor pulled me aside and yelled at me and made me cry and continued to yell at me while I was crying in front of everyone, she basically told me she wasn’t going to pass me when all I needed was some help from them. Needless to say I didn’t learn much.
Kyrstin Crawford: My experience overall was good. I attended the Evening Medical Assistant program. Had a few hiccups transitioning to the all online curriculum. But once things got flowing it was easier. The teachers were very approachable and flexible when I needed help. Mr. Glatter was always willing to stay late to help students who needed it.
Carissa Havier: Honestly, starting off at the campus was wonderful, I did evening classes. Towards the end, getting ready for my externship, my last two months there weren't great at all. I had problems getting the site that I wanted. And my last month in class we didn't get to practice the things that we were supposed to, that we'd be using out in the field. Then I had problems with the careers lady that runs the seminar class while doing externship, making unprofessional comments to myself and another student. It seems like ever since I left the evening classes have went downhill
Cherre Williams: Very good school, very helpful. Hands on everything you learn here are actual things that you will do in clinic. Very high turn over rate as far as getting jobs in the field they will help you find a job at the end. GREAT SCHOOL!
Taylor Ransome: Excellent experience. My instructor was great and was able to help me with anything I needed. Also the director was very hands on as well! The career services ladies made sure I was placed at one of the extern sites I wanted to be at and everything is going great. THANK YOU ROSS (:
Shania Wilson-Moore: I really like Ross and it helped me a lot especially going into my externship. The teachers and workers all around were great.
Watan Wadi: good school with welcoming staff ready to help with anything.
Shakyra Chaneyfield: I attended the Ann Arbor, Michigan location. My experience with Ross has been nothing short of AMAZING. My instructors were professional, competent, fair, confident, supportive, and always made themselves available to their students whenever needed. They made learning interesting and fun.I've never had any issues with my tuition thanks to the financial aide department always being on top of their game. And thanks to Career Services department, I was able to do my externship at a location closer to home at a well known and high rated medical facility. From the moment I walked in to Ross to become a student, I was greeted with a smile, and all questions were answered honestly and completely. I thank admissions personnel and administration for always being a positive ray of sunshine to all who walk into the facility, or call for information. And last, but certainly not least, I want to acknowledge the Director and the Assistant director for helping to make my amazing experience at Ross Possible. From their undying genuine care and support, to the way they keep the Ann Arbor location running smoothly and professionally. I recommend Ross for anyone who has a heart for the medical field.
