Hartland UMC: A large tree fell onto the Church owned Pastors House during an August 2021 windstorm causing significant damage. Having used Paul Davis Restorations in the past for similar significant tree damage to my home, it was easy to call upon them again. The restoration is just now starting as it took the Church Insurance provider over 100 days to process and issue claim checks. The staff from Paul Davis Restoration were instrumental in helping us receive a proper damage assessment. Their staff performed an extensive, detailed assessment including photos which allowed the Church to receive twice the amount approved by the insurance company adjusters. I'm confident the restoration will move forward with the same high level of quality and sense of urgency I received on the 55-day project to repair my home.

David Hernandez: Worst company ever... I contacted them for an emergency on a water damage in my condo and they took it so lightly that they didn't do the water mitigation on time causing more damage to my condo. Plus when they finally decided to show up, they were so lazy to remove the soaking wet drywall that I made them come back 3 times. Plus the ridiculously expensive prices for a very low quality job. Go to another company because they will let you down.

Steve Jones: After I experienced water damage to my kitchen, I contacted Chad and he was very quick to respond, explained everything that needed to get done and was very very friendly. He said he could do everything to get my kitchen back to normal within 4 to 6 weeks. So I decided to used him instead of the adjuster's recommended restoration company, He was quick to get started and tore out everything in a timely manner. But after this, Chad just kept making empty promises to do things and never kept any promises. Even the insurance adjuster said he would not respond to her. I guess he got a bigger job and didn't need me. I just wish he would have told me he was no longer interested in helping me so I would not have wasted so much time. Nick Azzarello: We had a large tree fall on our house that required a considerable amount of structural work, drywall, painting and flooring. But first, we needed to get a contractor out, ASAP since we had a gaping hole in the roof. Out of three that I called, Chad Grimes was the only one to not only agree to show up, but did so the very next day. He came prepared with a crew and tarps to at least get us under cover. He was quick to respond to the water damage and getting it dried out to determine overall damage. Each instance in our dealings with Chad was very good. He was prompt and communicated regularly letting us know where things stood. The work itself was done exactly to our liking and Chad does not skimp. HE will not replace partial flooring if it butts up to older flooring that was not damaged, so part of his estimate was replacing all flooring to make sure we had the same overall satisfaction with our house prior to the damage. He had also met at the house with the insurance adjuster and explained this to her as well, that he would not allow old to meet with new (except for drywall). Overall we have a house that we are just as pleased with now as we were prior. Chad has also been very understanding in our dealings with the bank, which have been slow and fraught with paperwork. Because of that, the bank has been slow to release funds, which could set off an small business owner, but Chad couldn't have been more understanding.
