John Milanovich PhD MindMatters Neuropsychology: what do users think?
Reina Avery: I’m using a throwaway account to write this review both to hide my name and protect myself from any possible retribution that may have occurred should I have chosen to use my full legal name. I came to Dr Milanovich a while back and to say I was broken was an understatement. I needed a psych evaluation done which mind you cost 5000 dollars which insurance would not cover.I came in and due to testing being done for hours I split the appointments into separate ones and finally when my tests results came in, he denied that I had been abused, stating it was not abuse if it did not leave a mark. This was in front of my abuser. He claimed it was all in my head, that I had made it up. That I had believed it to be true but it wasn’t true.I could not believe someone with his degree, with his training could be so cruel.I honestly hesitated to even write this review. Since seeing him, my abuser has only gotten worse, police were called, I was nearly killed, finally I was able to escape and I have somehow survived and managed on my own but I found myself wondering had I not come in for that evaluation perhaps things wouldn’t have escalated to that degree.I honestly think he should have his license revoked. I feel he should be reported. I feel consequences should be had. My life changed dramatically and not for the better due in part to his false, flagrant disregard for my mental health, welfare and safety. No patient should ever have to suffer as I did. No one deserves this kind of cruelty. You have a duty to your patients “Dr” Milanovitch. Do better.
Jennifer Bork: The atmosphere of the office is very calm and professional. All staff is kind, careful and accommodating. I could not be happier with the care we are receiving.
prawnda snibbles: rude and manipulative towards children, and appears to have some kind of personal agenda regarding a parent's right to mistreat their kids. he said he doesnt think child abuse exists, or that it's rarely very severe, and i believe that he is not suited to be working with children if he brings this bias to appointments, especially regarding my child who was severely abused by my ex husband. this was a very expensive and very disappointing experience which did not result in diagnosis or even any relevant analysis of my child's mental health or psychological profile.
Kevin Adelson: Very rude and unprofessional. I had made an appointment back on January 11th with the office. Two days prior my daughter was in direct contact with a friend who tested positive for covid. I left a message for the office I had to wait for the results and would make another appointment. Upon making my second appointment I was advised there is now a $500.00 deposit required. I called and spoke to Dr. Milanovich and asked why there was a $500.00 deposit required as there was not one the first appointment. Dr Milankovich's response was "Well there is one now, take or leave it"! I was shocked at how rude and out of context his flippant remarked seemed. I simply said thank you and hung up.
Eric Yukins: Dr. Milanovich changed our kids lives. The results were so positive on our oldest son that when our youngest started showing signs of struggling we had no question where to turn.He was great with the kids, thorough in his evaluations and even better at explaining the results to us parents. He came highly recommended and we couldn't be happier with the results. If your child is struggling with behavior and/or learning, this is the place to go. We took our kids to see him when they were about 7 years old and am glad we did, as we were really struggling. Thanks Dr. John!
Thomas Fletcher: If you are struggling to understand how your child perceives the world, how they learn and what is the best environment for their success, we highly recommend Dr. Milanovich and the MindMatters team.In order for us, as parents, to fully understand our dyslexic daughter's strengths and opportunities for learning and to receive a list of accommodations to discuss with her school, we were referred to Dr. Milanovich at MindMatters by friends that were extremely satisfied with his service for their son. We were not disappointed.Dr. Milanovich did a wonderful job explaining the type of testing he put her through and ultimately the results with recommendations. This made our discussion with our daughter's school much more effective; not only because of the results, but also because of the respect the school counselors had for Dr. Milanovich and Mind Matters' testing. When the school had questions about the accommodations suggested, Dr. Milanovich made himself available to clarify and express full support for our daughter, and us as parents, with the school. Finally, Dr. Milanovich referred us to another doctor's practice for specific language issues that our daughter needed help with. For those that have children struggling to learn and communicate you'll understand what I mean when I say, "What a breath of fresh air it was to work with Dr. Milanovich!"
pm leahy: Mind Matters was a big step in understanding our child's strengths and weaknesses. As a mother struggling to know the best way to help her child, Dr. Milanovich listened, asked questions and advised over the phone before we even committed to an official appointment. My husband and I opted for this treatment though it was not covered by insurance and was out of pocket, due to Dr. Milanovich's genuine desire to help us and our situation. Our child too felt free to share and be open.Have referred to friends and will continue.to do so!.
Maria Iacopelli-Barker: Highly recommended by a friend. I called a few places for the testing required and even though Dr. Milanovich was out of network, and we needed to pay the additional fee, we felt it was worth it. Actually, his price was lower than other places. We decided to book and appointment because of his professional experience and expertise in his field. He was very accommodating on the appointment times. He was very clear about the testing and answered all our questions. His testing was very thorough and spent a great deal of time reviewing the results. After our experience, we would highly recommend Dr. Milanovich.

Mihaylova Temenuzhka MD: what do users think?
Paul Qarana: My mother went in for a consultation for seizure epilepsy. After suffering a single seizure in 2017, my mother was put on keppra medication, that ultimately came with side effects such as weight gain and extreme fatigue that my mother struggled with for several years. After continuous visits with her previous Doctor mom decided to accept a second opinion. Dr. Mihaylova suggested a different approach. Her Approach, was something our old neurologist never suggested, that in fact showed no need for my mother to be taking medication for single seizure. Dr. Mihaylova is kind, intelligent, has comfortable bed side manner and had much compassion and understanding when evaluating my mother. We are so grateful!
Jennifer M: Intelligent, communicative, caring, and timely. After moving from Michigan to Cleveland, I thought the Cleveland Clinic would be an easy transition. However, within about 6 months of disgust with the Cleveland Clinic's awful medical services, I started making the drive back to Dr. Mihaylova's office. She's worth it!
Michael Liskey: Since I've been with Dr. Mihaylova my health has gotten better & better. She's a great doctor & I would & will refer any of my friends to her. She is the best that I've had in my life. In her professional field there's no one better. Your friend
Dawn Mari Collom: Dr. Mihaylova is the best neurologist I have ever worked with. She is kind, caring, thoughtful, thorough, gentle, quick to respond to calls, and has amazing bedside manners. I recommend her, and her team to anyone.
