Back and Pain Center at Burlington Building: what do users think?
Justin P: I have been to multiple pain specialist and out of all the places this one has been the least added value yet one of the most expensive. (The others weren't much better) Our medical system and our government has made medicine no longer about patients but making money & regulations. I am just about done with doctors in general.
Donna Kaiiser: Went there for an foot injury and in a lot of pain. I worked at the U/M at the time, I was set up with the top doctor (head of Pain clinic ) and he gave me a hard time for coming to his clinic, mind you I had already been to several other clinics including Orthopedics, and my PCP who was an sports injury doctor part time with no results. I was misdiagnosed and sent back to Orthopedics. From there I was finally referred to the proper doctors to handle the situation, however the treatment I received from this clinic was horrible and I went home crying, would never refer anyone there and if I could give a zero star I would do so.
Keith K: Wrost place I've ever been! Treats you like a number they can't get rid of fast enough. They never cared what I had to say, and just did what they could to shut me up and get me out. They also almost killed me, having me on so much medication that I went into Adrenal crisis and almost died. That's when I left, the best decision I've ever made!
Dena Roberts: My primary doc referred me here to hopefully find some strategies to deal with a shoulder that wouldn't bounce back after an injury a year ago. Do any of the doctors here actually know how to help people help themselves, or is this just a place to get meds? Because I basically filled out a huge packet of forms asking if I could live without opiates. I asked the med tech if I was in the wrong place. I don't want meds. I want strategies. She assured me I was not. I was assigned to Dr. Kathryn Rose Grace, and the highlight of the visit came when she shared this profundity: "There are a lot of muscles involved in the shoulder; so IDK. You could schedule a consult with PT here at UM". I drove an hour and half for nothing. Plus they billed my insurance $350 bucks for the most useless doctor appointment I have ever had in my life.
zam Issa: Live saver 😍
Amy: This place is awful. Avoid Dr. Michael Tu. Fortunately he is on a fellowship so hopefully his time at U of M is short lived. Unfortunately he will be practicing medicine. No compassionNo respectNo dignityNo mannersNo empathy
H G: HORRIBLE experience. Went with my elderly mom for her follow up appointment. Both my parents have some language barrier problems, so they asked me to come as the interpreter. My dad is my mom's caretaker and knows her medical history, medications taken, etc, as she has some memory issues due to her advanced age - she's 85. A few weeks ago they had another appt within U of M Health system. They were able to see the doctor together AND to have an interpreter with them. When we arrived for her appt at Back and Pain Center, we were not allowed to go in all three of us - patient, caretaker (my dad) and interpreter (me). Only two people they said. So, it was my mom and me. My mom kept asking me to inquire why my dad wasn't allowed in, when they were able to see another U of M doctor recently together AND with an interpreter. When a clerk named Beth Burgess finally came into the room to get medication information (at least 45 minutes after the scheduled appt time) , I asked her on my mom's behalf why my dad can't be in the room. She kept repeating that it was policy and that we can call him instead. My dad rarely carries his cell phone with him and I wasn't even sure he had it. Then she proceeded to ask me if I was an interpreter from some department. When I told her no, I was her daughter, she said that in that case I can't be there either! (which is a lie, as their policy, as I was told by Patients Relations later, is one accompanying person per patient). I told her that I'm not going to leave my mom. At that point, she said that this appointment can no longer be held, that we need to RESCHEDULE AND that she is calling SECURITY!!! I was flabbergasted. This woman was calling security and denying my mom medical care because I refused to leave my mom's side. She then left the room, turned her back on me and proceeded walking away from, entering a staff only room and slamming the door in my face. Another clerk whose name was Jenny, but who refused to give her last name. (Ashamed much of her behavior?) kept telling me that we need to leave and that appointment will not be held. Beth Burgess reappeared. I kept asking what was wrong with them and how they can escalate a non- issue to this absurd scale and deny an elderly, confused woman medical care. I told them, fine, you don't like me, I can leave and my dad can come in from the waiting room. Both my mom and dad visited Dr Hilliard a month prior and were allowed to be together. These power hungry jerks, however, told me that I took it too far (I'm still dumbfounded as to what it is it that I did wrong. Asked why my dad can't be present at the appointment?? That is my crime?? That is why these poor excuses for human beings were going crazy drunk with power??) and that the dr does not wish to see my mother. I went into the waiting room and my mom refused to leave. They call a security officer. My mom started crying. These people who are supposed to be TAKING CARE OF SICK AND ILL people couldn't care less! They tried to kick her out. It took a long time for the doctor to even bother to come out and do anything about this ridiculous situation. At the end of it all, these clowns managed to do a "phone visit" where they put my parents in one room apparently and the doctor called them from another. Which is BEYOND ridiculous. This is not about COVID-19. This about power games of "Because I said so". There is no executive order that doesn't allow a doctor to be in a room with a patient and a caregiver and an interpreter. I'm pretty sure this kind of abuse borders on harassment and I'm not beyond pursuing a legal course of action. We were treated horribly. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in a medical office. I have filed an official complaint against Beth Burgess and "Jenny" through the Patient Relations office. I sincerely hope U of M Health system will not let this type of an incident go unchecked and let these type of employees go without any sort of reprimand. I will be waiting for the results of this case and pursuing it further if need be. I'm thoroughly disgusted
Darwin Hughey: Wonderful care...Thx to all!!
Melinda Johnson: I was treated very professionally and would highly reccomend to anybody.
Dustin Theis: Lead Doctor is excellent, he goes above and beyond. Good luck to anybody who needs long distance support from this place because you're not going to get it.
Emma Ridener: Dr. Cooper is an amazing neuropathy specialist, and doesn't ever give you false information.
Alan Wren: Great doctor's. Professional, kind, and caring. They listened to my concerns and addressed them immediately.
Sheri Sample: great doctors

Krasnick Regenerative Medicine - Center for Alternative Pain Treatment: what do users think?
Lainie Katz: Dr. Krasnick is truly the nicest doctor I have ever met. He's kind, very knowledgeable, etc. I could go on and on. I forgot the name of the wonderful office assistant. She is also very helpful and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about my experience.
Daniel Sellinger: It was a pleasure to meet Dr Krasnick, he spent about an hour and a half with me and did a dynamic ultrasound of my affected joint, and explained everything in detail and also reviewed my MRI and X-ray CD with me, I am confident that he will be able to help me as we go through the process of regenerative medicine for my affected body part! This portion of the review is after 4 visits and things are proceeding quite well, a platelet-rich plasma injection to my arthritic and degenerated left knee has been effective, I have been able to run, sprint and start back with agility exercises with essentially negative pain which I could not do prior to beginning his treatments. I have had two prolotherapy injection visits as well and he is what all doctors should be and that is; very personable, caring, thorough, detailed, knowledgeable and as is Rachelle as well!!. I just love the information that is derived from his use of the dynamic ultrasound that is performed each time to meticulously verify where the injections need to go as well as viewing the structures around my knee for comparison. I would highly recommend Dr Krasnick for any musculoskeletal issue.Dr Daniel Sellinger
Bart Hammer: Great staff and location. Dr. Krasnick was very helpful and answered all my questions in great detail. Actually showed me problem on the ultrasound screen.
Mike Nevins: Dr. Krasnik is really the best. He has always been very careful to treat my issues like a real professional. I have been spared a lot of pain because of his care.
nerita veliu: Dr Krasnick has helped me tremendously. I’ve seen him a few times with joint pain and his therapy has taken all the pain away. I recommend him to all of my family and friends.
Kristin Kill: Dr Krasnick has given me my mobility back and I am so appreciative of his care and concern each time I visit!! As an older athlete he is just invaluable!!
Hubert Rast: Extremely attentive, detail-oriented, personable physician.
Joseph Asare-kwakye: Very thorough in providing care. I was amazed as to how he explained into details with everything he did for my son.
Andrew Pappas: Always takes his time never rushes. Answers any questions you have
SAMEER sawalha: It’s a good experience
Janice Robinson: Dr Krasnick was kind and warm, incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He put me at ease during the procedure…He warned me that one procedure/Prolotherapy might not show a lot of results that it builds on itself but I absolutely felt something right from the beginning (that my ligaments/tendons were more stable) so I couldn’t be happierI am so glad I chose him!
barry waldman: “ I developed pain in walking, a tendon in both feet caused enough pain to limp. I visited 2 ankle joint physicians, both of whom recommended surgery but said the results could be problematic. Dr K gave me prolo which absolutely healed me over a few months. “ barry waldman.
Zahia Nadra Xi AmuRA: I can't begin to tell you how happy I am to have found Dr Krasnick's office. They are very attentive to my needs and understand my healthy life goals! And Rachel is absolutely amazing!!!! I'm feeling better now than I have in YEARs!!!!!
Lisa Mesko: Dr. Krasnick was fantastic - long story short, the injections would not have helped my specific back condition. He took a history, did an exam, and looked over my imaging with me, explaining my exact problem. He did not try to sell me on therapies I didn't need. He gently explained that unfortunately, the injections would not be helpful in my case. You can't ask for more than that from a provider - just the honest truth delivered with genuine kindness. If you're considering Dr. Krasnick, you can be sure he will only treat you if he thinks it will help. Can't go wrong there.
Rick Coleman: Dr. Krasnick and his staff were very helpful, thorough and patient. They answered all my questions and the procedures I had done were very successful. I'm back to running again. I would reccomend his office to anyone.
Kelly Murphy-Smith: Very detailed, and thorough, explains everything really well - honest about expected outcome and had no trouble referring me to a different specialist.
Madeleine Berry: This man changed my life. After suffering a back injury giving birth to my son, he was able to administer treatment to heal it. After a year of not being able to bend over, walk long distances and living in constant fear that my back would relapse. I am beyond pleased to say that my back feels normal. I have been able to hike, climb mountains, and pick up my son from the ground. This is worth every cent. I got my life back, and my son is finally able to have the mother he deserves. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Adriana Urista: Nice clean professional office , receptionist Rachel answered lots questions & Dr. Krasnick outstanding can’t say enough good things about him .Dr. Krasnick , took extra time to address all of my concerns ; was careful an professional when doing the procedure to my neck . Prolotherapy .This was my first appointment an it was not as bad as I thought it would be; worth it for sure .Thanks again Dr. KrasnickSincerelyAdriana
Melissa Rose: Dr Krasnick is amazing! He listens to your concerns and tries to find a solution for the issue. He is so caring and kind. I have recommended him to many people. Everyone loves him. The office staff is just as kind and caring. During my procedures, Dr K. was constantly making sure I was ok and comfortable. If you need Prolotherapy, PRP, or any joint issues, please go see him!
Cathleen Forche': Dr. Krasnick thinks through ever detail of what the patient is experiencing and develops a plan of action that is open minded, intelligent and wise. You want him on your health care team.
arpita: Dr Krasnick has been my miracle Dr throughout the recovery process. I was in bad shape when I first saw him and struggling for a diagnosis. I was looking for a kind, compassionate and well-versed doctor and in Dr Krasnick, I found exactly that. He diagnosed me very accurately right away when other Drs were just beating around the bush. Dr Krasnick is the very best Dr in Michigan for regenerative Medicine. He is thorough, patient and extremely accurate with administering the injections. I started getting Prolotherapy and due to a change in symptoms switched to neural Prolotherapy and trigger point injections at his suggestion and the whole process has worked wonders for me. His assistant Rachelle is also very thorough and absolutely fabulous !! I have no words to describe how grateful I feel for Krasnick Regenerative medicine for bringing me where I am today with my amazing recovery and return of function.

Dr. Carmen R. Green, MD: what do users think?
Colleen Thompson: We were referred to this office after my son’s hospitalization. They waited until the day of the appointment to review his information and inform us that Dr. Green had no idea why we were referred and we should not bother to come. They wasted three weeks of our time- they should have told us this when the referral was made.
Delphine Lockhart: Dr. Green was the only doctor, after having had to deal with severe pain for 3 years, who listened to my symptoms and was knowledgeable enough to diagnose my problem. She is knowledgeable in her field. I trust her and feel like she really cares about her patients!!!
Ken Tucky: Thr doctor was talking (lecturing) about political issues without even paying to the examination. Not listening to what I was trying to say either. Monomoniacal.
