Meghan Kilgore: Steve and his crew did a fantastic job painting our home exterior. Steve is incredibly detail oriented. He asks dozens of questions to ensure you are getting exactly what you want. We were using three colors on our house, one for siding, one for doors and shutters, and another for trim and fascia. Steve asked detailed questions to determine exactly which color should be used on things like screen frames, storm doors, gutter elbows etc. He really has a great eye and always had a good suggestion about what would look best. The crew painted our cedar siding by hand to ensure a long lasting coverage. They were friendly and courteous every day. They cleaned up our property immaculately. Steve's bid probably won't be the least expensive one you get, but it will be the highest quality. You won't be sorry, you won't have to deal with headaches or things being done wrong. Sam Wang: I cant stress enough how sorry we are that we chose to pay Five Star Painting of Ann Arbor to paint our external wood siding. They did extremely mediocre work and when we pointed out deficiencies in their paint job, from sloppy edging to chipping paint and overpainting wood siding onto concrete, the owner Mariano just kept making excuses and reasons as to their shoddy work prior to acquiescing and trying to fix *some* of their work. Five months later and we continue to find places where they missed covering with paint, or poor prep work leading to chipping paint. In summary, use anyone else and avoid the headache

Jaclyn: Brooks painting did incredibly top notch work removing our popcorn ceiling, removing old wallpaper, and painting all of our walls, trim, fireplace, and ceiling. Our first floor looks completely transformed. We never could have done it ourselves. I highly recommend Brooks painting! You cannot go wrong. It looks as if we paid for a total remodel but really just updated with paint— worth the investment. The owner was also very helpful in picking high quality paint and the correct finishes—all of his recommendations looked off of HGTV!
Dan Trevisan: John and an employee painted our 18' front hall in 2003(ish). Great work - fast, good price. We hired him to paint our rental condo (we used to live there and keep it extremely clean). Two employees did the work. They did a 'good' job - missed some trim lines and had to come back once to do one side of a door and a second coat of a wall. Overall decent work. That said, John didn't write up a quote, didn't tell us they didn't paint the interior of bifold doors, and they used all PPG paint despite saying they'd use Sherwin Williams (not a fan of the trim finish). Very nice guys all around, but we feel like they ripped through there with an 'it's just a rental' approach when we were hoping for work like we got in 2003.Service:Interior painting

Carl Bonfiglio: Cabinet painting. Great results! John and his team did a great job painting our cabinets. They took the doors to their shop and sanded and sprayed them. The finish is very professional! The crew was prompt and tidy.
Nicholas Dana: Took care of a moderate sized paint job with a time-sensitive component. He was always accessible and the work looks great. Definitely would recommend.
Tony DiGiovanni: Wasn't the least expensive bid, but he used better paint and was able to get the carpentry done we needed. He powerwashed the siding which was a nice touch and the house looks great.
