Angie M: Our experiences have always been great. They saved my sons life when first diagnosed with T1D. His quarterly appointments are usually long, but the team is friendly, and works great with him. We initially worked with Dr. Wood, but now have Dr. Joyce Lee and we are equally as happy.

Hiring Manager: Dr. Kasa Vubu refuses to call you back with test results. I have to call everyday at least 2 times per day for weeks to get her nurse to call back, she has not called me back once. I have never had such a hard time finding out test results for my child.

Ryan Haase: 2 appointments for my daughter, 2 different occasions, though she (Dr Kasavubu) is very nice, there is ZERO followup. she will not call you back with test reports, you will have to track her down and do all the leg work or you will never hear from her again. 8 weeks since our MRI and we’re still leaving messages waiting for either her or her staff for call us back with results. MRI facility said even though a dr was reviewing the MRI images as they were being taken, they could not tell us the findings/results, they had to come from Dr Kasavubu...... and here we are again

Cynthia Gross: I was a patient of Dr. Kasavubu from the age of 13-16. At the time of me seeing her I'd already seen a few doctors and non of them helped me or could even figure out how to help me the way her and her staff did. I had a lot of issues and she did every test and thoroughly checked me out to find the cause of my issue. Found out I needed surgery which she performed. Every doctor I saw prior to her said I would never be able to have children. She was the only doctor who believed I could have them but warned me of how difficult it could be trying to conceive. She was right because it was difficult but not impossible. I am now 34 years old, been married to my husband for 8 years and we have 3 beautiful children. 2 girls and a boy. I've been pregnant 4 times but sadly I lost the first child. I would highly and I do mean highly recommend her to any parent that need to have their child seen by one of the top pediatric endocrinologist in Michigan. You will not be disappointed. She's super sweet, funny, knowledgeable and very attentive. Her bed side manners make you feel so comfortable you'll forget you're talking to a doctor

A A: My husband & I absolutely love u of m. Wonderful doctors, nurses, all of staff members but I hate to say this the endocrinologist Dr. Menon at the u of m is seriously depressing. Everytime my husband & I take our son since he's been diagnosed (5 years now) we have to wait for 45 minutes to an hour every time to see him! Everytime I've asked can we get a different doc....I get told we don't have any doctors taking new patients...REALLY!! He's rude, seems to hate his job, he's not talkative whatsoever, very short with the appointments. I would never recommend Dr. Menon to anyone! If anyone has a great endo please let me know. Haven't seem to find a good doc yet.
