Daniel Yurko: I signed up for a month of access to this gym through groupon. I've called more than 8 times and went to the location but they're never open and they don't return my calls. Maybe they went out of business.
Sucila Fernandes: It's a place for healing both physically and mentally. It seems we're all having troubles these days keeping our sanity but Star has created a community where everyone can feel comfortable and most definitely supported. He lifts us up and we help each other out. But what I enjoy the most and because I'm in mourning, his demeanor, jokes, choice of music but most of all his smile makes the tears go away. I'm very grateful to be a part of All out Fitness.

Martha Miller: I would recommend this gym and it's trainers to anyone and everyone I know! The instructors are great and can specialize and individualize based upon your personal requests, needs and fitness goals. I was tired of going to gyms like Planet Fitness and all those other commercialized Jim's where I was just another number and monthly payment. I would just jumpon some cardio machine and then lifted a few free weights with no idea what I was doing or how to do it.I grew up as an athlete, but once my training came to an end after college I was lost in one of those commercialize Gyms. All Out Fitness has got me in the best shape of my life and I am 100% grateful :)
Swan Lin: Great classes and fantastic instructors! I regularly attended the Group Fitness, Boot Camp, and Step with Star classes and always left feeling re-energized and satisfyingly sore. Star's workouts are tough and he definitely knows how to push you to your limits, but he's always encouraging. He'll ask for your input and tailor some of the exercises to you. Love the vibe of the classes and how friendly and welcoming everyone is.

Mark Schoenhals: It’s a decent lifting gym, not very busy and the track is nice. Also, the locker room is nice. However, the free weight area leaves a bit to be desired, and it’s a very small area compared to the rest of the gym. The lighting is quite dim, and there is very little “energy” in the gym, overall. Nice place but it just feels like the hospital that’s next door.
Jim Edwards: Nicest (but not the cheapest) gym in the area. Mostly back to the pre-pandemic norms, but you still are supposed to reserve your spot in any of the classes that are offered.

They provide towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, qtips and water as well as self creating locks, women's/men's only hot tubs and wet and dry saunas- I believe they have a Co-ed hot tub as well in the pool area...and exercise classes, exercise machines and free weights as well as nutritional classes and incentives to work out!
Sherri Fountain: Zach Stoney, the massage therapist at WCCTHFC, is amazing and so good at what he does! In addition to being a great massage therapist, he has a mild manner and is an excellent “teacher.” He has taught me a lot about anatomy and how to relax and enhance my health! I highly recommend him! 🤗
Andre Kormendi: Great facility, all the free weights and machines you could want, plus sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, lap pool, heated saltwater pool, 1/8 mile indoor track. A ton of classes and trainers available as well, at both free and reasonable cost. Friendly folk, individual combination lockers. Nice showers, including handicap accessible ones, suit dryers. Free lotion, deodorant, hair spray, mouthwash. All wrapped in a clean and well maintained package. You really couldn't ask for more.
Holly Ganger: The actual facility is wonderful but the staff members have such a lack of communication between each other. If you call you’ll be on hold for a long time and you’ll just constantly be transferred from one person to another. Nobody seems to know what’s going on or are able to answer questions about classes.
Jamie MacLaren: I’m a huge fan of THFC at WCC! The membership cost seems a little high at first but when you realize what all it includes, it’s well worth the cost. Having locker and towel service included is a huge bonus, most classes included, and pool/hot tubs/sauna/steam room. As a runner, I really appreciate the indoor track for the winter days that are too cold or too icy to run outside. I’ve always had positive interactions with staff and have appreciated all the ways they’ve protected their patrons during COVID.

Nicole: Brian Young is the absolute best. I trained with him for 2 years while studying at University of Michigan and could not trust anyone more when it comes to fitness. He’s extremely knowledgeable, and always pushed me in the best possible way to accomplish my goals and make me stronger. I couldn’t recommend him more.
Sharon van der Walde: I have 3 daughters that were equestrians growing up and in college. Brian watched video of them riding to see their body position jumping over fences etc to ensure proper training. Brian makes sure he understands each persons needs to get the best results! I also took trained in group classes and the atmosphere is so positive. No matter what level you are at physically, everyone is encouraging and pushes you to do better. I highly recommend B Young B Fit!

The instructors are amazingly knowledgeable, motivating, and helpful, and always keep you interested and on your toes by changing up every single workout. I feel my fitness level has significantly increased since starting to work out at B Young B Fit. Definitely a place I'd recommend.

Pure Barre is a great workout and if you are looking to get into it this the location to do it at.
Claire Miller: Pure Barre in downtown Ann Arbor is fantastic! Everyone is very friendly, and of course the workout is a burner. Anyone can jump on in, beginners may take a little while to get used to the flow of class, but within 4-5 sessions you’ll be ready to really get into the exercises. They also do good deals, so definitely ask about what packages are being run at any given time.
luby lu: Update: Door was locked when I was 2 min late. I love that they prepare dry shampoo and deodorant in the bathroom, but the water bottle filter went unchanged for a very long time.Original:5 star exercises. In addition to the exercise method, the instructors in this studio are positive, give detailed instructions and corrections but aren't intrusive. I really like it.
Holly DeBruin: More than any other fitness class I've taken before, I see the results from Pure Barre. It's a great full-body workout. However, some times the instructors move a little too fast or are difficult to understand, so I miss out on some of the exercises. In addition, I lucked out and bought classes under the Summer Sculpt packages. Without these packages, the classes are way too expensive! I'm hoping more reasonably priced packages will be offered in the future so I can continue to do Pure Barre.
Mary Kate Turner: I've felt so much stronger and more centered and balanced since I started working out at Pure Barre. All the staff are very welcoming and helpful with answering questions and providing tips and feedback on my form and how to improve, since I'm new to barre classes (and group exercise in general). It feels like a judgement free zone here for sure. After about 6 classes or so, I really feel like I'm starting to make progress and certain moves are getting easier - although none of it is truly "easy!"

They quickly learn your name and adjust your position during class to help you get the most out of each exercise. The studio always has great promotions going on which make taking barre classes as a student totally affordable. My favorite 50 minutes of the day!

As a 3 mo post partum mom, I was worried that I would feel behind and intimidated in the class, but the instructors are incredibly friendly and supportive and have helped me make modifications so that I am able to do the class at my own pace. They always encourage mental strength in addition to physical strength and I have found that it's not only amazing for my body but my mind as well.

Debbie Tauiliili: The Pure Barre Ann Arbor studio has a classy, clean and welcoming environment. The owners Vicky and Anna and all the instructors make you feel welcome. I was initially intimidated about joining having preconceptions that it might be a bit stuffy, out of my league and not sure if I would break out in a sweat. I had completed some Beach Body workout programs and loved to lift weights, jump and sweat, but due to a foot injury couldn’t quite reach that cardio burn that I loved. WAS I EVER WRONG about the intensity of Pure Barre. It took me almost a month to make it through the warm-up and 6 months later after my first Barre class I can honestly say there hasn’t been a class that has not been challenging. I love this studio as there is a diverse group of women and men in the classes at different fitness levels. The music is upbeat, where I sometimes feel tempted to do a little dance on the floor. The instructors take the time to know you and challenge you during class. There are constant incentives and fitness challenges provided by Vicky and Anna. Since joining, my gluteus maximus and thighs have more tone and lift and overall I feel stronger yet more flexible. Best decision I made was to join Pure Barre Ann Arbor. My husband and teenage daughter, not likely to say much positive about mom, have not stopped commenting on how fit I look.
Katie Lieder: My first Barre class was at a different local studio. To keep it quick: I felt unwelcomed and confused. It was a challenging class and I left feeling extremely intimidated. I decided to try a different studio and chose Pure Barre. The entire experience has been amazing. When I first walked in, they already knew who I was and even had a little sign welcoming me to the studio! The owner gave me a quick tour of the facility so I knew exactly where to place my things and where the equipment was located. The instructor also introduced herself and told me a bit about the class. She gave me tips and a glimpse of what to expect. I felt like I had a good handling of what to expect this time instead of being completely taken off guard.Fast forward to my 5th class and the experience is still top-notch. They run a professional and clean studio where the classes are FUN (yet challenging). All of the instructors have been extremely helpful and friendly. The ladies in the class range in age and I never feel intimidated. You can easily modify, yet they push you to give it your all. These classes continue to kick my butt (I haven't worked out in 3+ years), however, I leave feeling stronger and accomplished each time! I will continue to attend classes 3x a week and can't wait to see (and feel) even more results!

You'll never stop learning how to "lift those heels" a little higher and "sink down lower" than your last class. I started here after the birth of my second and got into the best shape of my life. Now I am pregnant with my third, and trying my darndest to "tuck" and "bend stretch" my way through this pregnancy! If you have never tried barre, and think you maybe want to try--go for it!

The instructor Alyssa was so sweet and gave me a tour of the studio when I first got there. She took the time to explain the moves before the class started and went over some words like "tuck" and such so that I wouldn't be lost. It was hard to keep up at times since the class moves fast from one move to the next. I do not consider myself to be "fit". I'm more of a casual gym goer so this class definitely kicked my butt. It was great that Alyssa walked around after demonstrating the move and helped individuals with form. I loved that she would encourage those that were doing well. I even got some moves right and just having that encouragement was awesome! I'm looking forward to meeting more instructors but I will definitely be going back to Alyssa's class! I will be sore but very excited to go back for my second class! I also met two really nice members that absolutely love going to this studio and gave me helpful tips to help with my future soreness. Overall, I left feeling more accomplished and energized for my day.
Joy Whitenburg: It's been while since I've worked out (New baby), and this was just what I needed. A tough, full body workout. The staff was so friendly. Even in a class of 15, the instructor helped me individually to get the best workout possible. I've already scheduled my next class!

Tom Kraeutler: I've been coming here for more than two years and have had a great time! Landon and the coaches are incredible and make you feel welcome no matter what your fitness level is. The facilities are equally as great with plenty of space to do whatever the WOD is. As someone who's lived around the country and attended classes at countless number of Crossfit boxes, this is truly one of the best out there!

Janice Skurski: A truly fantastic CrossFit gym. Coaches are knowledgeable and helpful, making sure you stay motivated and safe during workouts. The workouts are also not just constant, random cross training, as some CrossFit naysayers might think, but extremely well designed plans, working towards “slow, controlled gains over time.” I’ve been a member for many years and have never been a better athlete than when I’ve consistently gone to this gym. If you’re thinking about checking out, I’d highly recommend it!

Alyssa Poole: I recently joined Wolverine and it has been fantastic! I was looking for something that was community orientated and accessible. I was intimidated by CrossFit but liked the idea of it and thought it might be a good fit but I am just an average person not an athlete so wasn’t sure. I walked in and they had a great on ramp for how to join and get involved; they made it easy for newbie to join and feel comfortable. The coaches are relatable, helpful, and patient. It has been a gift! If your thinking about it… do it!

Monica Bugeja: Wolverine is a large gym. They have weightlifting, Crossfit classes, HIIT and open gym. The coaches are great and know my abilities and what I need to work on/am working on. They listen to my suggestions. There’s even a suggestion box at the front counter. I’ve made some friends since I’ve gone here and my squats have improved. They have a huge rig, many echo bikes (Yuck), rowers, ropes, jump ropes, all the weights and barbells, a ski erg, a GHD, several bathrooms, mats, kettle bells, wall balls and sleds. I would love to see more ski ergs and GHDs though. 😉 Drop in and try it out!
Thomas Husson: Chris Arcure, the owner, has changed my life. He is an awesome human being and coach: extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. This is a gym that anyone can walk into and feel comfortable. The comunity is amazing , the equipment is top notch, the facility is always clean, and the coaches truly care about you, your safety, and your fitness. Wolverine Strength and Conditionning has become such a big part of my everyday life. It is the best gym in Ann Arbor, and probably in all Michigan.
Craig Gallo: My 12 yo daughter started at this gym and has made amazing progress. The last gym she trained at was terrible. In less then five months the coaches cleaned her form up and she looks 10 times better. Coach Hannah is an amazing weightlifting coach and it’s very obvious she knows how to coach a very technical sport. We will be life long members
Mohan Dong: This gym completely changed my life. I was a member/coach for 4 years. I learned so much from the community and the amazing coaches!!! The facility is huge and very clean. However, the owner Chris is the least pleasant person I have ever dealt with. He treated people around him horribly and pushed away lots of good coaches. I spent years trying to build a good relationship with him but failed. If you are new to CrossFit and want the best coaching, this is the place to be. Please be sure to avoid the owner so you get a pleasant experience.
S W: Loved the wod here! Almost 10 years in CrossFit and never had a wod with sandbags over the wall. Loved it! Hope to come back. Coaching was excellent and the owners are both amazing to visit with.
jerome jeanpierre: I have been going there for 5 years and the team and owners do their best to maintain the place clean and up to date with equipment. Also lot of space to train, many type of equipment that will fit all your needs. Coaches that are all the time listening to your need and ready to support your goal providing well balance advice. Community is also great. All people coming to the gym are truly nice and welcoming.You should try.
