I decided to visit Pictures Plus (within the Westgate Shopping Center in Ann Arbor) after reading the company's many very favorable reviews online. While it was my intent to explore repair options, the owner and a staff member provided me with an overview of options that included repair AND frame replacement. I opted to go with a higher quality frame that better complemented the art and existing matting. Pictures Plus reframed the piece while I waited! I like the results better than the original (pre-damage) framed piece! I'll be certain to visit Pictures Plus again if/when I'm in need of picture framing services. Thanks again!

Whenever I stop in, even if things are busy I hear "We can do that." Catherine Quirion: I cannot speak highly enough of the Ann Arbor North Frames Unlimited. I gave them two 60-year-old prints of galaxies -- these were taken literally when astrophotography was in its infancy -- and they were in horrific shape, having lived in a garage for at least 20 years. The framer at the A2 North facility basically did a phenomenal restoration job for the cost of a framing. I recommend this store with all my heart, because those prints mean a great deal to me.

Daniel Grey: I wouldn't go anywhere else for framing. The staff at Frames Unlimited are artists, and so thoughtful in their approach. It isn't the cheapest, but I do feel like it's the best.
Tanzeel Merchant: I was blown away by the amazing selection of custom and ready frames available here. Most of all though I was really impressed by the high quality of customer service and the incredible aesthetic and good choices that the staff here suggest. Shelly and Martha have great taste and do let them play their role and show you what they can do to make your piece shine. Don’t be daunted by the costs. There is a wide range of options here for different budgets. What’s most important though is that the end result really brings out the best in the art that you bring in. Remember this is a long-term investment in your art or photograph and getting it framed at this high-quality business is a very good decision. I will definitely be back many times over the next few decades.

Alvaro Rodriguez: CLIENTS & CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! Pierre Paul Design’s interior design and remodeling business is TERRIBLE!!! The owner, Lee Jean-Giles took a deposit from us ONE YEAR AGO, and still owes us $10,000.00 that he promised to return!!! We terminated our agreement due to lack of confidence after he repeatedly missed deadlines and avoided our phone calls. This man is not to be trusted.
Susan Cutler: A few weeks back I needed to have some custom framing done, and it was a rush job. Pierre Paul Gallery she’ was extremely helpful and responsive. They worked with me on a custom matte to draw out the color in the artwork and it came out looking beautiful!

The other items were a trio of art prints that I had put in inexpensive big box store frames out of convenience; 16x16, and I realized after unpacking them that they needed to be professionally matted and framed.Saline Picture Frame Co is very reasonably priced, in my experience/opinion, for the level of product selection, customer service, quality of work, and turn around time. The wires on the back of the trio were all set to hang the pieces evenly with ease, and the stretched oil painting looks like new. I recommend them and will use them again. (Painting on the left, attached, repaired by SPFCo to match the other two)

Marsha: I've had 3 projects completed with wonderful and perfect results. Third project was a 3 opening mat and mount in existing frame. First person I met with was very accommodating but had to go back in work area with questions. Second person came out frustrated and disagreed with my vision. Worked it out and when I returned for pick up I complained and said I wouldn't be returning. Received an apology and gift certificate in the mail. I may try them again because projects are beautifully done.
jfrey1: In the past couple years, I've had two items professionally framed by Saline Picture Frame Co. I had consultations for both projects, and all of my options were presented. One item was a simple poster, and the other required a mat. The color of the mat complimented the items and frame well. In both cases, the end products were very eye-pleasing. Turnaround time is great. Professional framing isn't inexpensive, but I think it's worth it for special items, and this company does it well with a lot of care.

A.J. Rudis: Skip this spot for any high value poster or art. I don't feel there's going to be respect given to your product. I just brought in some Chuck Sperry blotter art and he's man handling it in front of me. I removed that item. Didn't even show him the next, bringing it somewhere else. I had high hopes. I'm sure his response will be he handled it properly. He didn't even know it was blotter art. He didn't even know it was on perforated paper and he did not handle it properly. I'm giving it a three-star since we didn't get to the point to do business. Maybe they're the best framers in the world. I just saw a lack of respect for art.

His artistic eye helped with several projects that all turned out wonderfully with his input. If you care enough to get something custom framed, get it done right. McCabe Ash runs a shop that is exceptional in every regard, in addition to being one of the loveliest human beings you could hope to meet. If you are looking for something particularly special, he will work with you to select the exact framing materials - out of 1,000s of choices - and make sure the final job meets every expectation. I've also gotten much more modest frames with no matting for posters, and the finished product is elegant and lasts for the ages. The one and only time a frame had a problem - the thin metal frame on a poster of unwieldy proportions eventually began to buckle slightly, and the glass started to escape - I called, McCabe answered, told me to bring it in that afternoon, and he fixed it for me on the spot, and refused my attempts to pay him for doing so. Please patron this valuable local business; you'll love the results!

Teresa McCullough: In the Arborland Mall Store, there's NEVER a Salesman to help me. There may be some on the floor but they don't help. Also when I go to checkout the Cashier NEVER has an answer or try to find one to my questions. This has been my experience EVERY time I go to Michael's in Arborland Mall.
bbcornish: Aaron Framing is an awesome place to have framing done. The staff is professional, efficient, creative, patient and focused on positive customer relations. We have had this company at Michael's on Washtenaw in Ann Arbor frame many items through the years. The results have always been fantastic. The 1st week of Feb. we brought in a very large painting that needed to have non-reflective glass put in to replace the regular glass that had obscurred the picture because of our window reflections. What a difference they made. We highly recomment this company that is located in the back section of Michaels. Always terrific results that we're proud to display in our 110 year-old home. Thanks to this staff!
