Core Collective Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Kaitlin: My favorite studio in town with the sweetest instructors.
A.Campbell: 5 stars is not enough for Core Collective! As my first Pilates and Reformer experience they have made each workout different, fun, challenging and have me looking forward to my next class every time! The instructors are so friendly and it is just such a welcoming environment! I 100% recommend giving them a try at any level of fitness, you won’t regret it!
Jia Lin: I started with Core Collective a little over a month ago. I fell in love after my trial week and went for the membership.I’m sooo glad that I chose Core Collective as my regular go-to pilates spot! It is completely worth it! The prices are way more reasonable compared to other studios. The instructors are so welcoming and motivating. Before I found Core Collective, I didn’t have any daily workouts besides going between work and home. I now go there every other day! It is beginner friendly, I really do see changes on my body and I feel stronger. I would recommend to anyone that’s looking for a change to Core Collective without hesitation!
Marissa Heller: I had never taken a reformer class in my life but after the first class I knew I was hooked! All of the instructors are so welcoming, knowledgeable, & supportive. It’s a great vibe & non-judgmental atmosphere. As much as I have been going I’m still challenged every single time and every class is different from the one before. My only regret is not starting sooner!! Love this place :)
Casey Haapaniemi: Organized, friendly, clean, new machines, knowledgeable staff! Great classes!
Jinghan Guo: Amazing Pilates place! Register as a monthly member after the free trial class and has never regretted my decision ever since! Emily is amazing and all of the instructors are super nice and professional
Haley Antoine: I love Core Collective! I initially started with a 2 class per week membership but upgraded to "unlimited" because I enjoyed it so much! The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and kind. I feel stronger and even have better posture since starting last summer. I would highly recommend checking out Core Collective to anyone who is looking for a new exercise option or just looking to spice up their current regimen!
Maddie Frutig: Core collective Ann Arbor is the first place I have truly loved to work out. All the instructors are so knowledgeable, friendly, and all together bring such an amazing experience to reformer pilates. I have always loved pilates but have never experienced it in such an effective way as I have at this studio. I have brought friends and family to these classes and they ALWAYS want to come back. Emily is an amazing owner and has created an amazing community. Whether you are just beginning or have experience, Core Collective is the best place.
Brittni Mason: Absolutely love doing Pilates here . All the instructors are very welcoming and the classes are both amazing and challenging . I have been coming here for over a year now and I can see a tremendous difference in my fitness levels. If you're looking for a clean, fun environment , this is the place for you
Lauren Levin: I love Core Collective! After moving to Ann Arbor from Chicago was looking for my new pilates place and FOUND it! The instructors are all super sweet, classes are challenging yes achievable, everything is clean and super nice! I LOVE it here!
Tanya DesJardins: I love core collective! This is my first experience with Pilates and I have never felt intimidated - only welcomed! There are always modifications offered and the teachers do an amazing job of talking your through the sequence so that it’s most effective and you don't get hurt. I also love that there’s such a variety of class types offered and at different times through the day/ week - which is really great for a busy Mom. You book your classes through the website or app and it’s super convenient!
Danny Yun: I am a complete beginner to Pilates, but I can’t stop raving about how awesome it is. I really think it’s an amazing, holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle. All the instructors I’ve met so far have been very kind , but also very good at their craft. They accommodate beginners (like me) and offer ways to make the exercises more challenging as well. I would definitely recommend Core Collective as my go to pilates gym.
Cathy Dou: I'm really glad I can find such a great place for my weekly routine to do pilates. Everyone is super friendly, and I'm pretty new to pilates. They also have private sessions to guide you through! I have been there for a month, and I really like it! The price is also very acceptable, and the environment is nice and clean. I would highly recommend Core collective!! It's 10/10!
Grace Wu: I'm pretty disappointed in the studio.I found the booking process to be extremely difficult because the website isn't user friendly at all and there isn't an app for booking classes. Furthermore, the classes are usually completely booked unless you can reserve more than a week in advance, which doesn't work for me because I can't always attend classes on a set schedule due to career and family demands (3 young kids!)On top of it, the studio isn't client friendly. I had been going there for once a week for about 2 months when I got an email from a total stranger introducing themselves and saying that they noticed I haven't booked any classes and if they can assist me in booking classes. Whar? Have they even looked at my account to see that I've been showing up once a week? Any other previous studios I have been to, the owners/managers/instructors make a point of getting to know the members and I feel like I'm just a number in this studio.I feel like the studio cares more about recruiting more clients instead of improving on quality of the experience they provide. First, a user friendly booking app would be really beneficial. Second, you don't have enough classes to offer all of the members you have. Booking is super difficult. Third, get to know your members! Make them feel valued! People don't mind spending money for quality products, but they also expect to get what they paid for. I feel like all Core Collective cares about is making money and not customer service. It's been a very disappointing experience.
Rachel Share: I had been looking to change up my fitness routine and found Core Collective. I like that the classes are scheduled throughout the day, 7 days a week, making it very convenient for someone who works a 9-5. All the instructors are welcoming and lead fun classes with a variety of movements each time. Would definitely recommend!
Leah Kim: Joining this studio was one of the best decision I had this year. All instructors I have met are super nice and helpful. The workouts are so satisfying too! I was planning to attend only for trial, but ended up attending for months now. Anyone who wants an experience should definitely do a free try out. Love this place!! :)
Andrea Vercellino: I did a private session with Brittany and it was wonderful! The class was challenging but not uncomfortable and Brittany did an excellent job explaining the reformer and teaching me how to use it, I would highly recommend!
Caitlin Benac: All the staff is so helpful, nice and supportive. They are always willing to help answer questions and give pointers on how to do the exercise better! Highly recommend!
Deeba M: Core Collective is amazing. I love that every class is different, they are always asking for feedback and ways to make classes better. Booking is easy on the app. It's my happy place, and I would definitely recommend.
Isabella Smith: I've been going to classes for almost two months and I love the studio and the instructors! The rates are really reasonable if you're a student in the area!
amanda ibrahim: The instructors there are seriously amazing. The classes are small (no more than 12) so they’re able to give you all of help if you need it. They’re are very talented at creating dynamic and fun workouts with the reforming and all of its accessories. I seriously can’t name a better studio. The prices are also really affordable compared to other studios. They even have really nice student packages

Pilates Loft Studio: what do users think?
Kimmy Conn: Tamara is a wonderful instructor. I went to Tamara knowing nothing about Pilates. She helped me figure out what areas of my body are my strength and what areas I need to work on. Tamara creates a warm and friendly environment and gently pushes you to be the best you can be!
glenn phenicie: Tamara continues to be the best investment I’ve ever made in my physical and mental health. If you happen to be in constant pain like I was after a couple herniated discs and decades or being glued to an office chair, do yourself the favor of stopping by. It could change your life, or at the very least help you understand and break the wayward ways of your weary corpus as it has for myself.I am so grateful for Tamara.
janet wee: Tracy is an amazing instructor. We took duet lessons twice a week and she really paid attention to our physical needs to help us get the most out of each session. She combines a wealth of OT experience to focus on small and big muscles that are often ignored and not properly stretched/utilized. We’re thankful for her encouragement as we worked on learning spine stretches, tree, and hundred!
sheila crowley: The space and quality of instructors are outstanding. I've trained with Sue Prince for several years using 1:1 sessions, reformer classes, and mat classes. Sue has a wealth of experience in understanding each individual's needs, and tailoring a program that optimizes physical function and wellness. Pilates Loft is a unique and very special studio in A2!!
Debbie Vincke: Beautiful peaceful downtown space! Tamara and Sue are caring knowledgeable Pilates instructors. I have been working with Tamara for 12 years keeping my body in harmony. ❤️
Clay Headden: Over 20 years experience says it all. You will love Tamara and I think you'll be very satisfied with the results you see from her studio.
David Votruba PhD: Tamara strikes a wonderful balance -- smart, skilled, and knowledgeable, yet relaxing, personable, and fun -- all while helping me take good care of my back, which is essential in my line of work.
Diane Black: I've been working with studio owner, Tamara Aprea for more than 10 years. Tamara's deep knowledge of the body and therapeutic applications of Pilates techniques is superb. Whether in a one on one session or group mat class, Tamara is able to address each client's needs and provide safe and healing instruction. As I age (68 now!), Tamara is right in sync with my changing needs. I have complete confidence that my health and wellbeing are being nourished in a caring, healing, professional manner.Pilates Loft's teachers are meticulously educated and reflect the intelligent, warm and peacefully enthusiastic attitude of founder Tamara Aprea.
Vivian Sangunett: Each of us is unique. Our bodies different, our physical abilities vary, and exercise wants/ needs are as individual as snowflakes. The team at Pilates Loft is constantly aware of the vast differences in their clients, and adjusts accordingly. No session is determined by a set of guidelines, but is adapted as the client's need change day-to-day.

Daniel Jeung: Been going here for over 2 years, consistently amazing instructors at all levels.
Brenda Marshall: I have taken classes here for 6 months and have grown stronger in the process. The instructors are all somewhat different so it's worth trying a few during your first weeks here. All of them are good!
Wanda Walasek: The Pilates at Washtenaw is the perfect place to be to get stronger , healthier and to be relaxed for 50 min. All of instructors are fabulous, kn
Jane Aldrich: This is the first time I’ve ever done Pilates and I love it! After 3 months I feel stronger and more flexible. The instructors are understanding and fun. I can’t say enough good things about it!
Lynn: Great studio! Run very well with excellent instructors. Extremely clean! Highly recommend for Pilates and also strength training.
Hallie Levine: Club Pilaties on Washtenaw is a great place to exercise, there is a welcoming atmosphere and a range of classes and instructors to fit a variety of needs. Everything runs on time, the studio is clean comfortable and organized.
Brittany Bradshaw: Club Pilates has been amazing! I took a free intro class on a whim (without knowing much about Pilates) and quickly fell in love. The staff and instructors are thorough and kind. I leave every class feeling even better than the last - both physically and mentally. I also have a very busy schedule and appreciate how many classes are offered at various times during the week.
Alexandra Hay: This is the only work out I consistently go to! The instructors are fantastic and make sure you work hard to keep your body in the best shape. Cant recommend them more.
Ezinne Nwadinobi: Club Pilates in Ann Arbor is amazing! Challenging classes and warm inviting instructors. I especially enjoy Charlene’s classes. She takes the time to learn each member’s name and work on our form individually. Would 100% recommend this studio.
Liz Sturgis: Instructors are knowledgeable, fun and make attending classes well worth it. There is a wide range of classes to take. I have been a Club Pilates member for since 2017. My body has changed (so much) for the better. Would highly recommend trying your first class.
Corliss Beard: Excellent facility and the instructors are awesome!
M Lammers: I typically only practice yoga and walk but needed strength training to help some issues . CP is a great addition. Not only has it corrected the problem but I feel more balanced and stronger. I really enjoy the creative, thoughtful series all the teachers put together each time. It’s never boring but I call it “Fun/Hard.”Thanks for such a nice space and knowledgeable teachers!
alonkahana: I love this studio. Great instructors!! Each one brings her own style and sequence. And they are good at adjusting difficulty level, and most are adept at accommodating male athletes.
Angela Kaimal: Location, studio and staff all fabulous!
Alyssa Colman: Amazing workouts from every Pilates instructor! 5+ stars
Denise Murphy: New to pilates and Club Pilates. Classes have been great. Lots of personalization.
Madison Scott: After getting an ad on social media, I decided to try the free intro class offered by the studio. The instructor was kind and helpful, and I really appreciated getting a chance to get to know the equipment and some of the movements before paying to walk blindly into a full class. After 12 more classes, I'm hooked! I've never been able to keep a workout routine like I have been with pilates. It's a tough workout, but feels gentle on the body, as you're often lying down and supported by the reformer and the resistance it provides. The studio itself is clean and well maintained. Most of the classes I have been to are with Lynn. She's tough, but she's great at ensuring you're doing the movements correctly, both for your safety and for the effectiveness of your workout. I've already noticed myself getting stronger, and I'm excited to continue with classes here!
Amanda Notrika: Love the variety of classes!

MOVE Wellness: what do users think?
Jennifer Goltz-Taylor: I adore MOVE. The trainers' breadth and depth of expertise, their kindness and open-heartedness, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere make it a haven. The space is clean, bright, and stress-free; their equipment is top-notch, housed in rooms that feel spacious and easy to be in. I love that going to MOVE being surrounded by people whose purpose is wellness and growth -- the clientele takes this cue from Elaine Economou and her marvelous staff. The body work I do at MOVE feels like a gift to myself.
Prudence Rosenthal: The place is clean and quiet, friendly and organized. They know what you are here for and get down business quickly. They listen to what your body feels like and what you want to do. They make good and helpful suggestions about what they can do for you. I like coming here and like people I work with very, very much. I feel stronger and more flexible. My posture is better and my balance is better too.Overall a GREAT experience!!!Prue Rosenthal
Jane Thompson: I've been a user of Move Wellness for some years. I have changed classes as I became more familiar with pilates and have loved the various instructors that I have had. I have also found a number of their wellness seminars really useful. My husband has attended the men's classes for years and also really benefitted from them.
Mark F: I have done Pilates in many different studios and I think Katie is as good an instructor as ever I had.
Margo downes: Move Wellness is DIVINE! Several years ago I started pilates and Gyrotonic private sessions and I have rediscovered my ability to move and get stronger. I am 65, and struggle with overeating and motivation. I used to love to dance but I got away from it for many years and now I am afraid to leap around. Pilates was the answer for me because I can get a workout without falling down or hurting myself due to all the supportive equipment. Gyrontic is another movement system that is fantastic and. it allows you to feel dancerly and allows you to stretch to your limits also without falling or getting hurt. I must not forget to tell you how Knowledgeable and skilled the trainers at MOVE are! Every one I have worked with is wonderful and they all have different things to offer. There are other types of exercise available they can teach you like the Oov and also the Franklin method. Other than Home Sweet Home, this is my favorite place to be in Ann Arbor!
Shannon Marraffino: I feel so very fortunate that Elaine Economou announced that their studio would be providing online pilates class when Covid started and everything closed. While I don't live in Michigan, I was awed at their ability to quickly set up many zoom classes for all levels. Even though my local club reopened, I am still hooked on the mat work offered via the livestream classes at MoveWellness. Also the Sunday morning yoga is a perfect start to the week. The pilates mat work is such a great addition to my routine reformer work. All the instructors are very experienced, great at providing verbal cues and always keep the exercises interesting, fresh and challenging. I really love all the ways we can move our bodies via pilates.
CHRISTINE MINDEROVIC: I have been a client of MOVE wellness for about 10 years. The instructors are the best trained people I have ever worked with. The environment of the studio is very attractive and comfortable. The equipment is always in good condition. If you love being in a room with 20 other people with loud music playing, go somewhere else.
Diane Harper: The instructors are well trained and have lived in experiences that they intelligently apply to their clients bodies. I have had pilates instructors in many places, but this is by far the BEST.
Deborah Herbert: MOVE is even more than a five-star wellness studio, with excellent trainers and programs. I have been a client since it opened in 2014 and have seen the creation of an impressive team with broad experience and deep knowledge, passion for the work, good communication skills, consistently positive attitude, practical problem-solving, and friendliness and capacity to connect. My own work at MOVE in pilates and gyrotonics has been significant for many reasons, not least because I have learned so much about the human body, both an intellectual and physical learning that I hadn't experienced before. I just turned 78, and I'm grateful and happy to be stronger, smarter, more flexible, better balanced, more fluid in moving, more responsive to sudden changes underfoot, more willing to try what I used to do. Thanks to MOVE!
Kate Styles: Move has been a wonderful addition to my life. I had daily back pain due to a weak core and was afraid to join an exercise class because I might make things worse! I signed up for a private lesson and began to build my core strength. I have changed trainer several times due to scheduling, but every trainer has been friendly, attentive, sensitive to my needs and fun! I am now pain free, and gaining strength and flexibility throughout my body.
Brooke Alexandra: As a fellow NCPT and Pilates studio owner it can be challenging to carve out the time to MOVE my own body. From the moment I reached out to MOVE Wellness, to the friendly, welcoming atmosphere on arrival, and the quality and depth my instructor(s) cued my body, this experience was just what my body needed and my soul craved. Thank you MOVE community for your care and hard work on my behalf.
Margo_Williams Downes: Move Wellness has changed my life! Wonderful, knowledgable trainers! great people, great atmosphere! You don't have to be fit to start.... they will get you moving again if you have become sedentary like I had.
Carol Shulman: As an older, former couch potato, I turned to Move when 24 weeks of physical therapy failed to improve my situation much. I have arthritis along my spine in numerous places and problems in my hips and lower back that interfere with balance and walking. I loved this studio pre-Covid and I love how they've put together online resources and live streaming post-Covid. This is truly a "no judgement" place with owners and trainers who really care about their clients. I have been taking private training with Move for over 3 years and online classes since February. it's made a huge difference in my pain levels, mobility, stength and balance. I've experienced sessions with many trainers over those3 years and they have all been fabulous.
Terry Ryan Kane DVM, MS: I'm sure MOVE is why I am able to move! I came to MOVE Wellness stuido years ago with an aching back that affected my daily life- my ability to walk or bend over. After working with their excellent trainers I was able to do and up and down 6 hour hike in the mountains. Thank you, Move!
Vilma Mesa: I've been going to MOVE for about a year now; I visited the studio on a late Friday (at closing time!) and a wonderful instructor showed me around and spoke about their approach and philosophy. I wanted to give it a try and after the initial class, I bought an 8-session package for mat Pilates. I needed a break from the intensity of my work and to attend to my body as I age, and the lessons gave me that opportunity. I do the exercises when I travel.I have found the staff to be very knowledgeable, caring, down-to-earth, and real. In all the classes they always start by asking how we are doing, body wise, and provide ideas to tailor the exercises to our needs. They also check that the form is good and gently correct me when needed. The facilities are also a plus; the exercise studios have natural light; there is a shower with clean towels and with environmentally conscious supplies. I also like their smoothies (including the paper straws!).My husband and I have benefited from this gentle approach to body care; I strongly recommend this Studio for what they do is driven by clear goals of supporting whole health.
Emily Douglas: This place literally saved my body and my life. If you want a fitness experience in a safe, comfortable, refreshing environment anchored by deep expertise in health, fitness and wellness, go here. These are the best trainers in town. They have a deep understanding of movement and the human body and, unlike most places, can customize and modify workouts to fit absolutely any body type, injury and personal goal. I've been going here for over 4 years and can't say enough about the quality of the experience and the people here.
Renee Silverthorn: My physical therapist (for back injury) recommended MOVE as a trusted fitness center. MOVE understands how to transition people with injuries back into physical fitness safely without reinjury. I had tried a regular gym before, but had injured myself there. I am currently taking some pilates classes which I feel is helping my core. I am also taking private gyrotonic sessions with Angela, and feel it has really increased my joint mobility - especially in my back and shoulders. The staff is friendly, always cheerful and helpful, and they make it a point to remember your name. I highly recommend MOVE.
Patrick Caputo: I have been doing Pilates and TRX here for a year. It has been a great experience.
Alicia Glaser: My favorite class has been the Gentle Yoga with Shannon Walter. Gentle Yoga makes you feel like you've taken the stressful things from your week and let them all go! I have also enjoyed private sessions of Gyrotonic with Aimee McDonald-Anderson. The staff is also super friendly and helpful.
Maureen Peters Gittelman: Phenomenal studio with truly expert trainers and a warm and encouraging atmosphere.
Marilyn Melvin: A Testimonial for your web page revision" I have been taking Pilates classes and private sessions for over twenty years and have enjoyed and benefited from most of them. However, training with Aimee McDonald-Anderson has been the most positive and beneficial experience of them all. Aimee is experienced, exceptionally trained and focuses on the specific needs of the individual she is working with. In addition, she is a lovely person to spend time with. An unexpected benefit, is her advanced training not only pilates but also in gyrotonics. I have seldom benefited from a class as much as her gyrokinesis class. The Move Studio provides a convenient, professional, welcoming environment for any level student." Marilyn M

Club Pilates: what do users think?
GRACE GUERARD: I’ve been doing Pilates with the two Ann Arbor studios for more than 5 years now and have completely turned obsessed with the classes, instructors, and the workout! It’s a very welcoming community and the BEST workout there is!
Sarah Mclaughlin: Highly recommend club Pilates on stadium! The trainers and staff are amazing.
Lisa Marion: Love doing pilates! Great instructors! Highly recommend ❤️
Lisa Hagan: I have been going here roughly a year and really like it. Instructors are great and there are lots of class times to choose from.
Amy F: Great facility and fantastic instructors!
Erin Wright: I switched from another studio and was worried I wouldn't like Club Pilates as much, but to my surprise, I like it better! The instructors are really good, and the variety of equipment makes the class fly by. I'm so glad I joined!
Janet Goldberg: Club Pilates is a wonderful close to home destination for pilates reformer exercise. The atmosphere is welcoming and the instructors are ready to help you get started. They offer three levels of intensity for your workouts to move at your own pace with instructor guidance. The online app is very easy to use for scheduling classes and checking in the day of your session. It's been a perfect addition to my exercise routine.
Cassidy Wood: I started pilates over a year ago and it was something I decided to embrace to find a new hobby for myself, become more toned, improved my balance and strength. The staff has been nothing but supportive, kind and patient. The variety and classes and times allow me to go regularly. It is a wonderful facility.
Daniel Ostroff: Great place to increase core strength. Very knowledgeable instructors
Claudia Leo: This side of town desperately needed a Pilates place and I’m glad that Club Pilates is filling that void. The place is clean and the instructors are all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My suggested improvement/wish list item would be that this location added restorative and/or stretching classes which are so beneficial to any Pilates practice and would be more inclusive and fair to those dealing with injury and recovery. These types of classes would only secure more clients to the regular classes after all. I hope this piece of feedback is taken into consideration. I love the place and would love to continue to attend if my fitness needs are met.
Taylor Smith: The BEST instructors! The nicest group of people to come and spend an hour of your day with. The booking policy changes are frustrating and can make it hard to get classes if you're on a tight schedule but overall great classes and I love coming here daily!
Zahia Nadra Xi AmuRA: This is my newest addiction!!! I absolutely love love love pilates!! Thanks Kathy for all the chair work!! ;)
Anna Blanzy: I cannot recommend Pilates and this studio more. I had been a hard core HIIT workout and avid kickboxer for over 7 years. I became so frustrated with never toning my body or losing significant weight. I found out I needed a spinal fusion and my surgeon said the only exercises I could do were low impact such as yoga or pilates. I started in November and since then I have lost 32 pounds and every inch of my body composition has changed. I have never in my life been as toned as I am today. My flexibility, posture, and muscle strength has increased by ten fold. I am a convert for life and I now practice at least 5 days a week and it’s what I look forward to everyday.
Emma Frazier: This has been my first time trying Pilates classes, and this studio has been very welcoming and accessible. I look forward to classes and appreciate how differentiated they are, especially for someone who is very new!
mona moorman: Love this place - great instructors and best workouts!
Darci Swisher: Great classes and instructors!
Maureen Riley: Joining Club Pilates is the best thing I’ve done for myself. I like the variety of instructors, all of whom are very knowledgeable. The studio is always spotlessly clean and the staff are great. Only downside is that there aren’t enough classes offered for the demand. Classes can be hard to get into. That does seem to be improving as more instructors come online.
Diana Corkin: I enjoy this exercise program. I feel healthier than when I started ;last fall.
Maggie Anderson: I've clocked over 100 sessions and feel stronger, more shapely and can actually locate my 'core'. I highly recommend Pilates and especially Club Pilates. It is professional, the instructors know their stuff and for those of us with physical problems they know how to adapt the exercises to our limitations. Try it, you'll like it!
Ashley Magers: I have been a member for about a year now, and I still look forward to and love coming to classes here as much as I did when I first joined! There are some really amazing instructors who incorporate new equipment and moves making each class feel different...definitely never boring and such a fun part of my exercise routine :)
alonkahana: Very convenient location. Easy parking. Variety of excellent instructors, many of whom really know how to tailor the class to different abilities. There’s a bathroom large enough to serve as a changing room. I’ve really enjoyed my membership. I go to both the Stadium and Washtenaw locations. They just added some Saturday afternoon classes, which is wonderful. My primary limitation is that I work during the week so I can only take the late weeknight classes (7 pm) or the weekend classes. I really appreciate having late evening and weekend options, and look forward to them being expanded.

Intelligent Exercise, LLC: what do users think?
Julie Millett: I started taking classes virtually with Melissa Francis of Intelligent Exercise (spring 2020). I have dabbled at Pilates on and off for years, but now, due to Melissa's expert guidance, I am seriously hooked. Even with the challenges of a virtual class, she gives such clear - and intelligent! - cues, I am able to deepen my practice effectively even though I'm thousands of miles away. She is a very gifted and caring teacher. Students of any level would benefit immensely from studying with her.
Kinsey Bondy: Thanks 1 for taking your weekend for training and 2 for giving us a safe, educated studio full of super qualified instructors. The more I meet trainers from other studios the more I realize just how awesome intelligent is!!!
Ingeborg Gaiser: I can highly recommend this place. Small classes with very experienced and skilled trainers .I found them after I hurt myself at another Pilates studio where I was not able to get specific individualized instructions. My posture and core strength has improved.
Millie Doodle: Pilates classes and private instruction are both an amazing (positive) challenge, and I am consistently blown away by my trainer, Shana, and her knowledge of pilates, biomechanics, and anatomy to help me get stronger and overcome injury. Intelligent Exercise is a warm and inviting place where I feel comfortable and am pushed to improve in areas that will support my own goals for movement. If I could afford to, I would certainly go more than 1x/week.
L Hodges: Catherine (Cat) is an incredible personal trainer. I'm 8 months pregnant and still doing weekly Pilates sessions with her. She is keeping me strong and my baby safe. I look forward to our weekly sessions. Amazing trainer and really positive environment.
Steve Coss: I was a sceptic. I admit that. As a cyclist, I thought there wasn't much a Pilate gym could offer me. I could not have been more wrong. After an injury, I was struggling to get back on the bike for more than 20 miles without severe knee pain. A friend recommended Intelligent Exercise, citing the staff’s ability to help her develop the correct muscle groups for running distance. I learned more in a few weeks of training there than in my past 20 years of riding. There was so much of my body that I was neglecting! Well, I'm back in racing shape and I have Intelligent exercise to thank for that. Here's the thing though. This place isn't for cyclist. It isn't for the exceptionally fit. It's for anyone of any fitness level that wants to improve the way they feel EVERY DAY. The entire staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. I will be a customer for life.
Gretta Spier: Great place to work out! The studio draws different types of bodies with different needs, from dancers to the uncoordinated. Somehow Melissa, Shana and the other trainers make the classes work for all of us.

The Good Movement Pilates: what do users think?
Amy Merk: Christa is a very knowledgeable and professional Pilates coach. She has an individualized workout for me which is both challenging and rewarding. Christa has helped strengthen my hip so that after hip surgery, my recovery will be much quicker. I highly recommend The Good Movement Pilates.
A Johnson: My experience with Christa has been exceptional! With a high degree of expertise and professional & thoughtful coaching, Christa’s training has made meaningful improvements to my physical well-being. I’m stronger, more fit and have better confidence in my body. Christa, and her great studio, set the bar for Pilates training.
Melissa Satti: Christa is a Pilates expert. I have had nothing but extremely positive and informed experiences with her. It’s clear she’s focused on wellness, proper technique, and helping me work towards my goals. I could not recommend her enough. She’s also extremely knowledgeable in women’s issues and pelvic floor strengthening and therapy.
Maureen Cummings: I was referred to Crista, by my pelvic floor physical therapist. Crista has been essential to my recovery. She is supportive and very knowledgeable on my pelvic floor issues and we are making good progress. I can't say enough good things about her. Her home-based studio is very up-to-date and modern she's very professional and I would highly recommend her services.
Mary Ann Martin: I initially 'found' Christa through rec. center classes. Her classes were popular and well attended because of her positive and skilled instruction. I knew I would benefit from individual classes that would enable a partnering to identify what would help me the most. One 'Pandemic Perk' has been being able to access Christa online and even purchase access to her classes whenever my schedule allowed. Now I am enjoying individual classes in her home studio. When my out of country daughter recently visited we scheduled a couple of 'duet' classes which were also great. Christa is truly committed to helping others experience 'Good Movement', no matter one's age or current physical condition. She's a wonderful, gifted coach!
Mackensie Freeman: Christa is wonderful! Her space is beautiful, and she provides such great attention to her clients. I love how body positive she is and how creative she is in developing routines. Wish more people knew about her as Christa is truly a gem — cannot recommend her enough!
Kait Keim: Super professional and knowledgeable with a great ability to communicate and guide workouts specific to your body/needs. Definitely give her a try, you will be glad that you did!
Tina Howard: Christa @ The Good Movement is amazing. I am constantly impressed with the extent of her knowledge of body mechanics. I work with her 1:1, in group settings and have taken some of her online series. Whatever you want to work on, she can help!
Jessica Westerhof: I hear so many stories about the benefits of Pilates, but I was always super intimidated by all of the technical equipment that it comes with. Christa has been the best instructor to introduce me to the practice, and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I have subscribed to her online classes and have done over 20 (and counting!) private studio sessions with her using the Reformer, and have found both experiences to be beneficial and impactful. I love that she takes my goals and opinions into consideration before our sessions, and will tailor the workout to target those areas I want to focus on. I would recommend her to anyone that is interested in getting into Pilates, or who is looking to further their practice!
Alice Chamberlain: Christa is a wonderful coach! I’ve learned so much from her training. She’s a great listener and adapts to individual needs. She changes up the workouts to keep it interesting and challenging. I highly recommend Christa!!
Stephanie Long: Christa is an excellent Pilates instructor! She is focused on details and works well with each individuals needs. Each session is a great workout!
Danna Gabardy: Christa is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with! If you’re interested in improving your body for health and/or beauty, she will guide you in achieving your fitness goals! I can definitely recommend Christa!

[solidcore]: what do users think?
Alicia K: A friend asked if I wanted to go to a challenging Pilates class. I’m not one to back down from a challenge…and now I’m hooked. Coach Dami is pretty much the only coach intake classes from. He’s the perfect combination of your best hype man and the person that’s going to test your limits. If you think you’re pretty fit…you’ve got to try this…you’ll be shaking after.
Chels Q: My brother and I haven't been trying to reach someone for weeks to cancel his account. He was deployed and hasn't been able to use his membership since July 2022. I've called multiple times and left messages but nobody is interested in getting back to me. Customer service here is garbage. Good luck canceling your membership.
Julie Wilson: I have done many other workouts and this is by far the most challenging I have eve done, but I LOVE IT! Dami is a great instructor! If you want to get super fit and like a challenge, then solid core is for you. Also, their customer service has been great-they called me back right away when I had questions and followed up to make sure my workouts were going well. Great business!
Dillon Roseen: I am SHOOK (literally) after leaving every solidcore class... Be prepared to sweat and exhaust yourself in 50 tough, motivating, and strength-building minutes. I love Coach Rachel's classes, but you can't really go wrong with any of the instructors. Be sure to ask about student discounts!
Allisa Byington: After the first class I was HOOKED. Great coaches that really know there stuff. Always feel welcomed and always leave with a GREAT work out.
Puja Mehta: Great atmosphere and awesome workout! Really love the different type of exercises you can do here and the instructors are fun and encouraging!
Jane Ziolkowski: So good! Highly recommend.
Katie Wilson: This workout is unlike any I’ve done! [solidcore] pushes you to your limit both mentally and physically, challenging you to do your best while listening to awesome music in a blue lit room. The workout is performed on a modified Pilates reformer (called Sweatlana), and it yields some serious results! Not a traditional Pilates fan myself, this workout has me hooked due to its high intensity, team oriented nature. If you’re looking for change (and fun while doing it), [solidcore] is the place for you.
Dami Ikwe: So let's be honest, this is hands down one of the most challenging yet fulfilling workouts I have ever taken. I instantly got hooked to the workout, the vibe, and the environment around. I've now become biased in my review because, I got so involved in the workout and the studio that I wanted to join the team. But nonetheless, as a hardcore gymrat and reviewer nothing has kept me more engaged, empowered and humbled at the same time. Coach Cara who was the first person I ever took really knew how to motivate and instruct me through my first class while still showing me I could improve a ton to feel even more results next time.
Lexi Guest: From the moment I walked in I fell in love with [solidcore]! Not only does the workout make you feel strong physically, but mentally as well. It’s a true body, mind, soul workout and I look forward to each and every class. The coaches are amazing at what they do.
