ok ready: Really nice to be back at church. Melissa always gives such a meaningful sermon. She always reaches me with her message and I experience a wide range of emotions. I love that she incorporates humor in her lessons. No one else's sermons reach me so deeply than hers.

Ron: *C note at😁Currently searching for a permanent pastor but all sermons have been good and the variety of pastors is challenging - in a good way.Additionally, two of the various pastors are are homebread members of 1st Pres anyway; one of which is not pursuing the pulpit, the other I am unsure of.😁The point is, do not let my mention of current search dissuade u one little bit from attending! You will be blessed, as I have been, everytime in the 3 months~i have attended since we opened up again.

Bruce Popejoy: A friendly church that accepts newcomers with open arms.
Virginia Koster: The whole Church Staff, Choir, Deacons and Elders have found many meaningful ways to reach out to the congregation and community during this period of sheltering at home. Sunday services are streamed and food for the hungry collected at church drop boxes. There are story times for the kids online, Bible study on Zoom and other classes online. First Pres remains a vibrant Christian community. Thanks be to God.

Lisa Pasbjerg: Wonderful church! Manages to welcome and support a wide and diverse group of people. Lives its values through local and international mission, and teaching loving all children of God. Although a large congregation, it has many ways to get involved in smaller groups and activities to build community and friendships.

Justin Braun: A nice place to worship or for a meeting. They have a little free library/food pantry out front.
Jackybs: This church let us tailgate at their parking lot before the Michigan Michigan state game. April worked there and was very helpful!

Jane Pitchford: I went to Knox as a teenager and young adult before getting married and moving away. I enjoy going back when visiting my parents. It's a great church! Large, but the people are so friendly it's easy to find a smiling face and get to know people. The bible is preached here and God is present.

Andrew Hess: This is a great local church. The staff in the office are all very helpful and kind. The style of the church is a mix of contemporary and traditional worship styles. There is one weekly service each Sunday. The architecture of the church is very beautiful.
