Best Pretzel Store Ann Arbor Near Me

Kimberly Edwards: Just went to the store in Briarwood Mall in Michigan. The assistant manager Beth was the absolute worst example of a manager that I have encountered in quite some time! She poked her head out of the back office a couple of times to make comments to her worker about his performance while a line began to form. The second time she proceeded to close her door after noticing the line. She finally came out to ask if she could help. I made a comment that it was nice of her to finally come out to help. She mentioned that she was doing paperwork. She clearly had not been doing that. She was visiting with another person. She proceeded to sweep something up and ran away to the back again. I asked her faithful hardworking employee what her name was and he declined to give me her name. He stated that he was just thankful to have a job. Another employee was all but too happy to supply me with her name. Shame on her! She is not management material but her employee definitely is. You need to flip their positions!

Amit Baghel: I had the second pretzel of my life. The first one was so yuck somewhere in California but Auntie Anne’s salted pretzel was so delicious and perfectly salted. Though I had that from a truck parked by Blank Slate Creamery, downtown Ann Arbor. Hot salsa sauce was a new and amazing taste for my taste buds. Overall great experience.

monét cooper: we stood in line for a delicious pretzel and lord knows those folks behind the counter were a working, but the young dude they had on pretzel cup filling needs to retrained on cleanliness. dude took his glove, rubbed his hair with said glove, noticed people looking at what he did, changed gloves, then with new gloves adjusted his hat, which could have been anywhere and that he'd already touched with his hair. ummmm, they also ain't maskin behind the counter either. thassa no for me.

The Young lady there (Brunette) is always upbeat with great energy... my 8 year old son said “Dad she should be Employee of the year”. Only 4 stars because of “Corporate set Prices”, not the Staff... it’s over priced. 3 drinks and 3 pretzel cups should not cost the same as 3 full dinners from a restaurant! 🤔

The pretzels are always yummy and delicious. I really wish I myself personally knew how to make as good pretzels as they do. Will keep on coming back in the future.

If you download the app and buy one thing they give you a pretzel. Highly recommend. Thanks to the manager who stood up to the “Karen” who cut in front of us. Will be back!

The pretzels are fresh everytime, I have become a loyal customer because of the hard work and the warmth of the staff. Linda and Deb, I'm pretty sure I have their names right, are so efficient and friendly. No better place for a pretzel in my opinion, and I'm a tough critic!!!

Michael Atherton: Went for a pretzel. Then I was told by the child that worked there that the pretzels in the display case were just that displays. Was told that it would be about 25 minutes for a pretzel. Pretzel shop with no pretzels? Poorly managed

Susan Vanoosterhout: They had a sign on the counter, "Buy a bundle, get a classic pretzel for $1". I asked the girl for the bundle #4 and a salted pretzel. My kids didn't want any cheese with the pretzels, so I told her she didn't have to give me any cheese. I assumed that I would be charged for the #4 and the $1 pretzel. Nope! Rings me up ala carte and charges me full price for the second pretzel. She explains to me since I didn't want the cheese I didn't (technically) get the bundle. Unbelievable. I then told her to get me the cheese then. There was just no common sense at play here. The thinking and customer service skills are obviously not held to a high enough standard at this place. The pretzels were okay though.

I never knew making pretzels could make you so miserable.. all the black girls (sad to say) should find new jobs. :) Not to mention they very rarely have fresh pretzels. Store obviously needs new management ASAP.
