Ray Handy: Awesome place
Johnny Jimenez: Beautiful School school...Brand new Soccer, Field Hockey and Lacrosse field...
Dean Kung: A great deal of attention paid to the well being of the students.
Sean Henry: This school ROCKS
Axel A: Greenhills school is very nice and interactive with the students. This school has great edu. system and teachers that are willing to help. Greenhills School also has some special days and special service days to mix up the ordinary schedule so the students get to have fun. At Greenhills the students learn quite a lot in a day because they just don't review stuff all the time, they learn new stuff. They way the classrooms are set up makes it fun to be there and the students seem happy when they are learning facts and methods. This is not an advertisement this is a student experience!

Clonlara School: what do users think?
Fnord DreiZwei: Frisch eingeschrieben. Sehr freundliche Aufnahme. Wir fühlen uns das erste Mal als Kunde. 😊... Also anders wahrgenommen als im deutschen Schulsystem üblich.Es gibt eine deutschsprachige Betreuung. Ab 01.09.2018 geht es los... Wir berichten weiter...
Kathy Donahue: My daughter graduated 15 years ago. Pat Montgomery of Clonlara said repeatedly back then that if a student wanted a government job, they should have a private school diploma, even though homeschooling is legal. Well, we just learned how true that statement was. Now that she's 33, my daughter's current career has led to a government job that requires vetting. As proud as we are of her homeschooling "diploma," it was only Clonlara's verification that allowed her to pass through the vetting process. We are so grateful for the extra layer of protection that Clonlara School gave us.
Caroline Richardson: Clonlara was a great alternative school for my son. He learned to take responsibility for his education, had an individualized accelerated academic program, explored his artistic side and felt welcome and appreciated in the community. Teachers were fantastic.

Summers-Knoll School: what do users think?
Sara Richmond: We've been so happy with the preschool program at SK! Our son has really flourished there. The teachers provide personal attention and really care about the childrens development. They go above and beyond. My oldest son also loves their summer camp program, and we can't say enough good things about it. The community is very welcoming. Thanks, SK!
Elizabeth Langen: Both my children are in school here and we love it! The community is warm and supportive and lets them thrive!
Stephanie Freeth: We've been part of the S-K community for six years. S-K is both nurturing and challenging academically which is an incredible combination in a school. The dedicated teachers meet the kids where they are and create an environment where each student has the opportunity to thrive. We are so appreciative that this educational option exists in Ann Arbor. S-K fosters an authentic love of learning.
Brandon Thorson: The Preschool @ SK is hands-down, the best program in Ann Arbor. SK is committed to small class sizes school-wide and builds their curriculum so that it is project and place based and includes thoughtful character development. Our son is an active child and SK is committed to regular movement inside the classroom and there is an emphasis on getting outdoors daily (often multiple times). The teachers in my son's preschool classroom complement each other and provide a diverse environment for learning. I could not have hand-picked three better people for my son to be learning from on a daily basis. We view his teachers as an extension of our family and their exceptional communication helps us to feel connected to our son and his learning while he is at school. His lead teacher, Clara, is truly one of a kind and has built, in my opinion, the best preschool classroom in all of Ann Arbor. We are so incredibly happy with SK and our son will reap the benefits of attending this amazing school his entire life.
The Power Rank: We have been thrilled with our experience at Summers-Knoll. Our boys are in 3rd and 1st grade, and both have been at the school since Kindergarten. They get personalized attention in a small classroom setting. It's a wonderful environment for the happy, curious learner. We're also a huge fan of the math curriculum. Summers-Knoll uses the Singapore books but supplements with games and activities that give meaning to the numbers. The teachers are innovative in this selection of activities.
Ann-Marie Rosland: Summers Knoll is a progressive school that really gets to know your child and individualizes their learning. They make project and place based learning happen in an amazing way. My kids are always challenged to move forward in their learning, and they love going to school!
Tim Schaden: Nothing better than learning to love learning and embracing who you really are!
Jason Harper: Amazing. Summers-Knoll has helped my daughter grow emotionally and academically in an environment she truly loves.

Michigan Islamic Academy: what do users think?
creepy planet: - Classes sizes are unreasonably high in some cases reaching more than 30 in 2022- School has an unwarranted focus on Arabic language learning even as there is a significant number of non-Arabic students- School's dress code and customs reflect stricter interpretation of Islam and do not promote thought diversity and variety of viewpoints that exist in Islamic societies- Most of the teachers are not certified, some shout at students, others are not properly trained to handle tough situations- School would generally try not to expel students that show complete disregard of school policies and requirements (unless dress code)- Class rooms are congested, lack proper ventilation, there is outside playground for high middle-high school and there is none-to-limited non academic focus- Teachers are meagerly paid and not supported by the administration
Sara Hamamy: I loved MIA! Amazing school, teachers are so nice! And being in a community with Muslims is a really nice environment.

This school pushes students to be there best possible self spiritually and academically. It is through this school that I learned almost all of my islamic education and memorized a large sum of the Quran. It offers unique opportunities in education through different competitions and early graduation. It continues to grow, from teaching in the masjid 30 years ago to having a gym and basketball team in the present era. Definitely a good choice.

fatiha ameziane: This is my 17th year being a parent here and a part of the MIA family. The school has taught my 4 children Muslim pride in their dress, the way they talk and how they respond to unexpected challenges. Since I have crossed so much distance I can see how this school has allowed them to grow, formulate opinions in a safe, friendly, and Islamic environment. I am very thankful to the staff, teachers, parents, community, and students for who they have become.
Fatiha Z.: As a mother of 4 MIA alumni, and one current student, I am so grateful that we have such a great Islamic school in the area. My children were provided the academic and Islamic foundation necessary to succeed as Muslim professionals. The rigorous curriculum and healthy social environment allows students the opportunity to grow, ensuring that they have confidence in their beliefs and values, career ready skills, and the tools to contribute positively to their communities.
Maria Tout: As an MIA alumnus it is with confidence that I can attest to the value of the staff, education and community of the school. MIA helped me build an Islamic foundation that aids in my everyday life alongside unique academic and extracurricular educations. The teachers at MIA are what make the school the great institution it is and without their love and support I would not be where I am today Alhamdullilah.
Angham Hussein: It's been over a decade since I've attended MIA, yet the experience has been truly unforgettable. The year I spent there has left such a lasting imprint on my life in every positive way possible. MIA provides students with a unique and rich educational experience. You will never find a school principal who invests as much time and effort into the development of an institution. MIA and the city of Ann Arbor as whole, are very lucky to have an individual who is dedicated to serving the community by striving for the betterment of it's children. MIA will always have my love and support.
Lina Hashem: I have three children and all of them attend MIA, one of them graduated last year. We absolutely love the school it has a homey like environment that welcomed us, so it became lie a second home for my kids.Staff and teachers are highly qualified, dedicated, caring and supportive. The school offers great education, wonderful Quran and Arabic program, plethora of extra curricular activities for students to engage in and build their leadership character, counseling, SAT prep classes, and a wonderful opportunity of a dual enrollment program for high school students. The school does a great job integrating Islamic values in their curriculum that helps students grow to be proud Muslims. I can’t imagine myself enrolling my kids at any other school. If you are looking for a school that provide a whole package of building strong Islamic character and great education Michigan Islamic Academy is the school no doubt about it.
Emadeddin Tanbour: MIA is a great school and a place to send kids to be future leaders with well established positive character. Three of our kids attended MIA and are now attending U of Michigan and Case Western Reserve University. One of our kids graduated from MIA and now attending dental graduate school. MIA has expanded its facilities and added modern classrooms, science labs, and a brand new gym. What we like about the school is the dedication of the administration, staff and teachers and the strong multicultural environment. The school provides outstanding number of extracurricular activities ranging from student clubs, national honor societies and state wide competitions. Every student at MIA has ample opportunity to be active in multiple leadership and academic activities. The school has unique clubs that are hard to find in other schools due to the diversity of expertises of its staff, teachers and stakeholders. MIA parents participate in tens of activities and wonderful gatherings throughout the year. MIA students practice public speaking, presentation skills in all media and are drilled through a series of communication skills practices that are paced across curriculum at all levels. Another unique attribute to MIA are the tens of activities and involvement opportunities that are provided to students beyond the border of the school. MIA students enjoy participation is out of town and some out of state field trips, conferences, symposia and the like. Good job MIA and we wish you continuous prosperity.
