samuel dewane: Buyers/Customers BEWARE—I want to warn other customers about my experience at this venue. I drove an hour with my family to attend an event, but we were disappointed to find out that there were no races or activities going on. We paid $75 for three tickets, but only received one on the receipt I was given. We asked for a refund, but were refused. Additionally, we observed that other people were let in for free after we paid. It was a frustrating experience, and I will not be returning to this venue.

JC Olson: The track is very well maintained. Seating and facilities are good as well. Staff are friendly and the prices are good to get in and to run. Lots of events going on during the year.

TessieSilverPaws: Wonderful experience! Always hated gambling at casinos, but this was much more fun. Loved seeing the horses right at the track. Food and drinks were relatively cheap (for concessions). Staff were friendly, place was not quite clean, but that's because all the patrons were throwing paper on the floor. Great view, all in all a very fun time!

Walter White: Had a BLAST at the harness races. Exciting races as they come down the back stretch!! Fridays are $1program $1 pop $1 beer $1 popcorn $2 hamburger $3 ch/burger. Cant beat that!!!! Seriously!!! Great place to take family also. Betting available on site and online racetracks.

L ML.A: This was my first time here and I was not disappointed! We had a great night. There’s more to it when it comes on betting on a horse. Good thing we came prepared and a friend of mine showed us what we needed. You need to get a booklet lol not sure how you called it I think the program and we went on a night with a total of 8 races. Each race was with different horses I believe and there’s more to it on how to read it but I’m still learning. Also, the cashier understood what we wanted and she helped us split the bets the way we wanted as well. We sat on the third floor and the setting is more like a diner area but you can see the race from there as well. There’s also mini tvs on each table. The food surprise me, it was pretty good. We ordered fish and chips, pretzel bites and chips and salsa. The lines to make your bets weren’t that bad. Overall it was a fun experience. The place is very old but I would say it was well kept. We went on a Friday April night and as you know we can get those warm days, I don’t know if they weren’t ready or maybe the ac didn’t work but it was definitely warm inside instead they had a giant fan blowing by the bathrooms. Would I come back? Yes, it was fun. Is it expensive? I don’t think so.

I'm not from the area, so I was just recently introduced to Northville Downs.They sell very cheap alcohol and it's really fun to go and make $2 bets on random horses all night. Even if I lose all of my money, it's better than spending $60 at a bar and having to uber back and forth.Great activity for a Friday night if you have nothing else to do in the fall.

Richard Sauter: In Detroit and our son told us about Northville Downs horse racing. We drove up for a look and no one will be ever believe that they race horses outside in the snow. Very cold and snowy day in November and this did not stop the races. They did delay for a few minutes during a snow squall where there was a white-out. We stay late and enjoyed the horse racing, atmosphere, betting and the refreshments. Quite a day to remember about horse racing in the snow in Michigan.
