Andie Moore: A wonderful model of the surrounding rail area inside of a charming rail station. Everyone is real inviting. Lots to see and watch. It's continuing to be worked on. Even was able to watch a full sized train ride by. My Autistic son absolutely loved it!

cyndy wulfsberg: What a find! Went to find a geocache, and stayed to learn about the history of trains in Dexter and see the astonishing model trains local hobbyists keep running! If the lights are on, someone will show you around, and if you have even a little interest in model railroading and miniature designs, this is a must see!

Marc Tassin: This place is wonderful! They've created a fantastic model train display in the old Dexter train depot. They're recreating the line from Jackson to Detroit using reference photos and Google maps satellite images to get the models just right. And the members of the club are really nice! They meet on Wednesday nights.

It's a train yard at Pennsylvania. patrick powers: It’s 3:15 pm on a Tuesday I start work at four. I only need to move 100 feet There is a line of cars backed up to the freeway. You wait and wait but now it’s 3:50 so you turn around to get to the freeway and take the long 5 mile way back around because you need to go 100 feet. After you make it too your destination which was 100 feet after the railroad crossing it’s like no train was ever at that location and now you’re ten minutes late to work and a lot lighter on gas.

The railroad company doesn't own the roads. The roads blocked for miles. I've tried taking multiple routes. How bout if I block you from doing your job every day. amber spencer: Why is there constantly stopped trains at 4 pm during the week. There’s almost no way around to Woodhaven for my children’s activities that we keep having to miss since I can’t get there. Very frustrating.

D. `: CSX railway specializes in blocking level crossings across the state and much of the Midwest for long periods of time with its graffiti covered 200+ car long trains which run slow because the CSX rails are so poorly maintained. Sometimes they just stop with zero concern they are cutting a city in half because they don't have to care.

Ken Alder: Just sat waiting for an insanely long train on Levan Road, and it no sooner got through the crossing when another 200 or so car train is now going through the other way. Blocked 25 minutes during rush hour, probably backing up traffic onto I96. If you’re going to have zero respect or consideration for motorists in running these ridiculously long trains, build a tunnel at this crossing. Another time you had a train parked for who knows how long across this intersection.
