Recycle Drop-Off Station: what do users think?
Tony Markel: As an aspiring homesteading homeowner, you can haul heaps of trash, recycling, mattresses, shredding, and electronics here. They charge you for the privilege, but they also do a great job.
Shawn Gillikin: Recycle everything here. Easy to find where to recycle
Art Hallberg: Glad to make another easy drop off of recyclable 'stuff'. Very nice, friendly staff
Charles M.: Slow! Long lines and long wait times, even on weekday mornings. They only have 1 person handling intake. They should have an express line for regular recycling. Wish there was somewhere else to drop off recycling…
Ali Topcu: Recycling should be encouraged, but whenever i go there it works opposite way due to either their attitude or road conditions or fee or etc…
Howie Krupsky: Drove all the way here to be turned around. Pulled in at 5:15pm on Tuesday and was told at the booth that they stop accepting trash drop off at 5pm. Cool. Couldn't get a reason why, but was told it was a rule made by "the manager". Maybe if you close at 5pm, then update your already inconvenient open hours to reflect this.
Eric Solway: I love this place! The staff are super kind and helpful. I took in about 75lbs of mixed metal scrap (mostly steel+aluminum), as well as plastic grocery bags and old clothes (unfit for donation). All accepted for the $3 entry fee. Was in and out in less than 10 mins. Great place to responsibly dispose of recyclables! Note that mixed plastics aren't accepted though.
Jacob Herget: Hours are wrong. They like to close early and are only open two days a week.
Barbara Cavin: The Recycling Center is efficiently run. The employees (and volunteers) are well informed as to the disposition of recycling materials. I am also thankful that they recycle styrofoam!!
Rachel Latvala: I’ve been coming here for 20+ years and the loyal employees are like family. So friendly and helpful. It’s well organized and there’s help if you need it. The place is kept clean and there’s lots of signage. Easy in, easy out, and the prices aren’t too bad. They take almost anything and you can recycle everything from batteries and metal to textiles, paper and styrofoam!!
Dorcas Smith: Fabulous location to recycle hard styrofoam, boxes, old technology and just about anything you can think of. Call if you have a question about what you want to recycle and it’s best $3.00 Donation there is! Amazing recycling drop-off center! ♥️♥️♥️
W W: Easy. Nice employees.
Scott Lawson: The facility is well run and organized. The staff has always been friendly and professional. It is very expensive however. I have repeatedly paid between $35 and $50 for less than a pickup bed.
Shannon Nelson: I’ve shown up a solid 10-15 minutes before their posted closing time only to find the gate closed already. Super unreliable.
noor jordan: I been trying to call them so many times before I go there and get stuck in line for service I want , but they never answer their phones or voicemails.. it’s so frustrating.I tried to call so many time during business hours throughout the week but no one answered lift many voicemails no one got to me ..so annoyingTheir website is not helpful at least in my situation
frank krieber: Great place to recycle. Great service
Elmer Bisler: I expected a drive thru recycling Center, but found it to be a junk yard environment. Next time I'll wear my boots.
Mike Palmer: Very rude lady at front gate. Not customer service at all. Was going to charge me 19$ for a few aluminum pieces and some scrap just because I didn’t know the cubic feet of it.
Glasses&Tea: 1.They stopped taking plastic recycling 9 months ago! I drove all the way there, paid to get in, only to throw 90% of what I brought in the dumpster.2. The website guide is useless.3. If possible just wait for the Detroit Zoos FREE election drop offThe only plus is that they take tube lights.
MH W: People are nice & will help out! not thrilled with the electronics fee, but if that's the cost of being responsible then so be it.
Barry Chapman: lovely employees and efficient use of space. very easy to get in and out and reasonable prices too

Materials Recovery Facility: what do users think?
David Russell: Website said open until 5:30, I pull into the truck scales at 4 pm exactly. The lazy woman says, "we closed." There is a little paper sign in the window that says they close at 4. Hard not to notice how horrible government employees are, can not even update their website or go a little extra distance when a customer is right there in front of them.

Recycle Ann Arbor Recovery Yard: what do users think?
jame Augustin: These people are rude. I don't recommend coming here.
Joshua Scott: Horrible service. Will never deal with this yard again. Rude is an understatement
Max Medellin: After being aggressively yelled at by their loader driver....joe informed me there was nothing he could do because they have a union and he refused to give me the # for corporate.
Donald Adiska: Usually very fast to get in and out. Friendly people. They don't take TV's here.
Nate Berent-Spillson: This place is the best. It fills the gap that our normal A2 curbside service can't handle. Know the guidelines for what they accept and don't accept. Measure out the volume of your load, and they'll get you in and out quickly.
Ann Arbor Hardwoods LLC: These guys are great, I dump here 1-2 times a week, everyone is always friendly.
wick in time: Not bad prices
Griffin Van Vuuren: Super nice staff, I'm go almost weekly for my job and I've never had a bad experiences
Robert Navetta: Outstanding service. Fantastic crew. Would not think of going anywhere else.
Kenneth Branson: Reasonable fees and almost never away great recovery yard
Emilia Fichter: Great place for recycling construction material and big metal appliances. We recycled our old, heavy water heater. Staff was super kind. check the webpage or call to know which kind of materials they take.
Suzan Zick: This place is always very good. The staff are always helpful. I'm glad they are open.
DB Cooper: Super nice people. Quick and easy place to get rid of old junk...but the hours are not customer friendly at all!
Ron Lucky: Great place
Rusty Shaffer: This place is fantastic! They have always erred on the fair side when estimating the amount of material in my truck or trailer.
Steve Rennie: Drove 30 min with full load because close time says 4pm. Got there at 346 and after explaining woman says well we arent Google you can come back at 7. Said they cant change what time it says it closes, grant iti was 1 minute late from suppose actual time with a dump trailer. You lost thousands here. Rude as could be.
William: Great service love that it’s easy excess in and out not bad on pricing I highly recommend to go to them
Carl Hueter: Just had the seventh 20 yd. can pulled from a very difficult construction site in downtown Ann Arbor, I can not speak more highly on the timeliness of the deliveries and pulls by this company and the extremely professional and courteous manner which Ryan the driver operates in. His care for the safety of his work and those around is exemplary. A valued member of our project!
Cathi Horning: Friendly staff.
Dennis G: I love recycling large items here. You have to pay to dispose of nearly everything, but its worth it when you need to dispose of six million pieces of old tile, or other similar 'how do I get rid of that' items.
Nicholas Fernimos: Calverts has always been a very reliable company. They are reasonably priced on time service and very friendly. They recycle every item that is entered into their yard. I always use them and refer them to my clients ,
