Reflexology with Martha: what do users think?
John Allen: Love the experience and can't wait to go back in a few weeks!
Nancy Harmon: Martha was able to reduce the swelling with my broken ankle by half each time she treated me. The pain reduction was amazing.
Amy Fesler: Very helpful and beneficial to my health
Michelle Chesney: As a fellow reflexologist, I was certainly curious and excited to be on the receiving end. I had an issue with a specific spot in my scapula area for years and no massage therapist had been able to provide me any relieve. I was absolutely amazed that after just one session with Martha, that pain was gone. And a year later, it has not returned! Since I retired, I refer all of my clients that ask me if I know anyone to Martha. Love her!
Jenny Christian: Martha is an intuitive healer- her gifts magnified and expanded by her medical background. I was having a lot of lymphatic drainage issues around my jaw, neck and clavicles and she helped so much!
Angel Thomas: After years of suffering with edema I went to see Martha to see if Reflexology would help. Not only was Martha able to help my feet, she is friendly and provides a relaxing environment. I look forward to my next visit!
Kim Devyak: Martha is very professional and extremely talented. I went in to see her for running related pains and after an hour, I found out that it was more than my feet that was the problem. She throughly explains everything that she does during the appointment. I would highly recommend her!!!
Laura A Disco: I appreciate how Martha always teaches me about what she’s doing as she’s doing it. I always leave feeling so much better, more relaxed, and able to process.
Christian Usera: 1/5. Unfortunately there's no *Zero* stars.Baked in the sun for 5 mins in 85 degree heat with health condition that make that worse then got told to bake for five more mins cause she was "finishing up" with another client. Waited in my car and didn't get a text or anything inviting me back in until I texted her at 332: Note at 324 I had texted that I was in my car and the heat outside was unbearable. When I came in at 334 she was arguing with me that "You arrived too early I have clients before you " I was not arguing that point rather that she needed to at least open the door and let me sit somewhere in the building. Proceeded to argue and made this somehow "my" issue. I think people have different world views on etiquette to be honest. This was literally one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. No hyperbole. I felt horrible after. No joke.
Kelli Crawford: Very friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my reflexology sessions. A great experience and also educational. Martha has a great touch.
Emily Pelletier: Martha is so attentive and spot on with reflexology. This was, by far, the best reflexology I’ve ever received. Martha is knowledgeable and works with you to identify which areas of your health needs to be addressed. I would recommend anyone looking to improve their overall health to visit Martha and feel the results!
Andrew Fradkin: Well versed, calm and educated me through the process. It is very interesting how it can affect the body and each session I had led to very restful sleep those nights. Martha has the education and is so enthusiastic about helping people - great experience!
Daniel Lava: After having major back surgery the results were at best sub standard. I have never had faith in snake oil cures. That being said after one visit to Martha I had huge improvement regaining partial feeling in my right leg during our session !! I am walking with less pain and she was able to reduce my limp to a level that's less noticable. I plan on continuing my appointments as I am confident Martha can get me back to a normal productive life.
Laura Burt: Martha is extremely skillful at her craft. She is professional and knowledgeable yet human and caring. She listens and thinks about your case far beyond your appointment. My body is healing faster from reflexology than from other alternative medical treatments that I have tried. I cannot rave enough about Reflexology with Martha! This is a game changer for me!
Pavlo Prokop: I have been going for the past month and getting great results. After my sessions I am more relaxed, sleep better and my injured ankle feels much better.

Capella Massage: what do users think?
Ezekiel Farms: Excellent massage. The foot massage are great. Good conversation as well calm relate private room
Edward Yao: Professional, thorough, deep massage.
Jake Pieske: Best message I've ever received
Anna Wallack: Awesome place! Aimee gave me an incredible massage. I could tell she was very knowledgeable about the different muscle groups because she could tell exactly where my pain was and used a good amount of pressure. She was very nice as well. Will definitely be coming back, I felt a lot of relief from the massage.
Lisa D: Julie is awesome!! I had a 90 minute massage and it was one of the best I've ever had. She is very skilled, pays close attention to areas needing extra attention, and has a wonderful bedside manner. Highly recommend Julie if you are in the area!!
Ruby Kaufmann: I’ve been coming to Capella Massage for over a year for full body massage and Julie does a great job every time! I recommend this place to everyone.
Jordan Martinez: Amazing. Best deep tissue I’ve ever gotten! Really happy I found this spa.
K S: Positive:Professionalism,QualityA perfect mix of acupressure and deep tissue massage that completely relieved my tension head and neck pain. Very experienced and knowledgeable, so glad I found this place on a whim. Definitely going back and using this spa from now on.
co am: Just super great massage. All pain gone.Expert at what she does...See her regularly. Thanks
Rosalie Tocco-Bradley: Positive:Professionalism,QualityCapella is the best kept secret. Unpretentious location on Main Street in Ann Arbor. Quiet, clean and professional. And Judy gave me one of the best total body, deep tissue massages I have ever had. She is a pro, for sure..
Aashish Pendru: one of the best massages I ever had. The masseuse is very knowledgeable regarding the soreness and knots in the muscles and works on them accordingly!
Joni Friedkin: I discovered this place in a little nook on Main Street on the edge of downtown Ann Arbor. The service was amazing - enjoyed a 75 minute service — 10 min foot soak, 50 min reflexology, and 15 neck/back massage — all for $59! Julie, the owner was lovely and professional. Looking forward to going back!
Nico Crisostomo: Finally, a Foot Massage place that is cheap, affordable, and gets the job done. I've been looking for a place like this all over Michigan with no luck until I saw their 'foot massage' sign while I was driving down on Main St Ann Arbor. The place is really quiet and has a very relaxing atmosphere inside. The owner Julie is on point and she checks on you during the massage if the pressure is okay or too strong. What I like about places like these is they're not as expensive as those typical chain massage parlors. They only charge $29 for 45 minutes of foot massage and it also includes a little bit of back, neck, arms, shoulders, and lower legs. You can barely find a cheap place like this in Michigan. These foot spas usually only exists in major cities like Chicago, New York, and California so I was surprised to finally find one here in Ann Arbor. I'm usually on my feet a lot when I'm working outdoors so this place definitely helps a lot to ease and relax my feets and legs. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a refreshing massage specially to people that work on their feet all day.

Main Street Massage Therapy: what do users think?
Chanese Forte: I cannot recommend Mainstreet massage and Geoff enough! I came to Geoff after years of friends telling me he was the best. I came with a back injury and feel like an entirely new person. Making appointments is easy and Geoff certainly has another loyal customer!
Laney Rupp: Really recommend Nisha! She is wonderful for deep tissue and craniosacral. Feel lucky to have found her! Do yourself a favor and get a 90min massage.
s h: I’ve been a regular customer of Michael’s for at-least the past 6 months going every two weeks or as often as I can & I can’t stop raving about how amazing he is. From my first appointment he listened to what I needed and continues to ask and work on my needs. He’s very respectful and responsive and always listens. I would highly recommend this business and especially Michael to anyone looking for a massage.
Sarah Hilton: Do not do the raindrop therapy. My husband ended up In the ER the night after the massage. Using non-diluted oils is dangerous, so I’m not sure why this business pours them on in copious amounts. I’m glad I choose to do a different massage spur of the moment due to breastfeeding, but they also were not able to tell me if it was safe for breastfeeding. Raindrop therapy is a discredited practice. This business needs to reevaluate the safety of their clients and use products as directed.
Sean McAndrew: I've been to this place a few times with a few of the massage therapists. Lately I've seen Milan, she offered to do Ashiatsu massage which she is training in and it was great!Every time I've had a massage here it has been very relaxing and well worth it. Couldn't recommend it more!
Jason Hilton: This business offers something called "raindrop therapy" which involves dropping undiluted essential oils on your back. If I had only googled "raindrop therapy" beforehand, I would have quickly learned that this is a harmful and discredited technique invented by essential oil company Young Living. In 2010, the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) released an official statement of policy against raindrop therapy. "ARC believes that Raindrop Therapy poses risks to the public health."The policy was adopted from the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy’s (NAHA) statement on raindrop therapy:"because of the unsafe use of undilutedessential oils as well as unpublished claims, "Raindrop Therapy" technique as developed by Gary Young is not supported as a "best practice."10 hours later and my back is still burning.
Mary Rodriguez: Michael is very talented! He was welcoming and kind but most importantly he listened to my needs and went above and beyond. Best massage I’ve had in the Ann Arbor area!
Joshua Brown: Highly recommend Michael, he does a great job!
Firas S: Had an excellent sports massage. Love that they didn't hesitate to go deep into the muscle. Will definitely be coming back
Jessica Johnson: First time getting a cupping massage, and I highly recommend it. I tend to hold a lot of tension in my legs. I have a very tight IT band, and sciatica. After a cupping massage, it relieved all the tightness and tension throughout my body, and I felt a lot lighter. I highly recommend this place, and Michael was amazing. Thanks for the much needed relief!
Nakiya Weatherspoon: Today was my first time getting a massage at this spa. I was not disappointed in any respect. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were so peaceful and clean. My Masseuse (Michael) was AWESOME!!! Took out time to even explain various movements/ machines to help improve my soreness. I will be returning soon.
Tj h: Tammie is no longer working for this location and can be found at Bellanina Day Spa, where it's clean, professional, peaceful, and respectful to all. There are some good therapists at Main Street, but it was challenging working for Mary. I am significantly happier at Bellanina. Hope to see some of my wonderful clients follow me there.
Lauren Longyear: As a student, I started going to Main Street Massage Therapy during times of high stress. I see Geoff, who is attentive, friendly and very helpful. Geoff's holistic view of relieving muscle tension is immensely effective. I always leave my massages feeling lighter and less tense along with having more relaxed breathing. Treat yourself to a massage here, you will not be disappointed.
nina lunsford: would visit again
JzzE1: Yes, it was small, which is not a bad thing. Small also infers "intimate" It was different from any massage I've ever had, but it was also better in it's own way. I wasn't just rubbed from head to toe. She found my worst spots, some of them "I" did'n't even know were bad like that. I felt so much better afterwards, looking forward to my next appt! As for my Masseuse, Nisha, i have 3 words to say Ah-MAY-zing!
jessie-mae secord: (update at bottom)My massage started ok. Accupressure instead of traditional massage, and he got some pressure points that helped immensely. But then he started asking me very intrusive questions about my mental health, completely out of nowhere and without any warning. It made me extremely uncomfortable and after the 2nd question I just stopped talking altogether. I felt like I was in a therapy session, not enjoying my mother's day massage. It really ruined my experience, and I would not see him again (Geoff) despite the technique working on me. I felt blindsided and would not have consented to this being a part of my treatment,I also won't return to the office. Their website should be clear on just how inaccessible the building is. The huge flights of stairs up were brutal, street noise was intrusive and parking was a nightmare (plus the road was closed so I couldn't be dropped off at the building.).Update: I added 1 star to my review because I was pleased with how management handled my complaint. They offered a full refund due to my experience, which was extremely appreciated.
Dade Murphy: Owner and Geoff were very unprofessional and rude. Message was sub par at best
J Diamond: Michael helped resolve a terribly painful recurrent back spasms. Definitely returning for a second visit.
Larissa Herrera: There are several great massage therapists here and they are very reasonably priced for the area and the quality of massage. Kara is my favorite. The facility is small but I think it keeps the area warmer. I hate being cold during a massage.
Angeline D'Balentine: Nisha is amazing! I did the Bliss package, and got the works for 120 minutes. From Swedish to Hot Rock to reflexology, she did it all. Also experienced cupping for my first time. Fascinating. Helps tremendously with stress and circulation. Looking forward to our next session.(Photo is of top of stairs, sitting for a moment as she prepped the room. I liked the snowflakes.)
Caroline: This place is super super small, located above a downtown restaurant.. Literally two people cannot be in the hallway at once unless you are facing each other. The massage room I was in was very much like a walk in closet. My massage was good but the person who performed the service (don't want to name) gave me a very strange head and neck massage for the last 10 minutes, leaving my short hair very very oily;I had planned to go to the store afterwards but I had to go home to take a shower. Also the bathroom smells like moth balls. Walls are very thin so you hear what customers and co-workers are saying while you are having your massage.
