Glacier Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center: what do users think?
Mary Winters: The rehabilitation for my husband was a nightmare. Maybe two nurses that were remarkable. The rest were terrible. They gouged his stump left 2 sores. He has an amputated leg.He is diabetic.let him order what he wantedOrange juice juice & pop. His sugar was 468. Deadly. physical therapy could not get him to stand. He stood over a minute at new rehabilitation place after second session. Glaciers lack of competent doctors. Stopped his lasixs. Ended up in emergency. Low hemoglobin & dehydrated.Wasn't sending him back to glacier.I conveyed all my concerns to nurses many times . Nothing changed. Also the time my husband waited for someone to help him was way too long. Many times had to go in the hall and look for someone.Doctor wanted to know if I was there 24/7. I should have been. All about the insurance. Do your homework. It was the worst experience not only for my husband but also for me. No one needs to experience that.
Christine Lee: ATTENTION PLEASE!!!!!! IF YOU HAVE A LOVED ONE STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HERE......MY STEP FATHER WAS TREATED LIKE AN ANIMAL IN THIS PLACE. When he needed assistance the staff would come into his room and yell at him like they were bothered and annoyed....HELL BLAME IT ON COVID BLAME ON THE LABOR SHORTAGE THERE IS NO WAY ANYONE SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE THIS! He sat in feces for 45 minutes to be changed had to call us to call the facility to get someone to help him. They delivered his dinner without water....never brought water. The social worker was unattentive and did not go out of her way you can call it a laid back approach. It all starts from the top poor management terrible staff.
Harris McClamroch: Excellent care, especially PT and OT.
Heather L: If you care about your family don't send them here period since trinity health took over it has went downhill. My Dad was here & the medical staff made decisions to hold Lasix off & on which caused him to end up in a critical situation I no longer have my Dad & I know that he would still be around if it wasn't for this place making poor choices w/his health care, He also fell out of bed the 1st night he was there & had bruises on him the next day when I came in & the nurse tried to tell me he had them on admission which he didn't they are short staffed for all the patients they have. Some of the tech staff are good people also a couple nurses but the nursing staff is not the greatest either, the PT staff is the only thing great about this place. I would never recommend this place to anyone who loves & cares about their family as much as I do. Run to another facility.
gregg krupa: an excellent place to rehabilitate my hip. quiet, clean, covid-safe, highly-effective physical therapy, highly-effective occupational therapy, tasty food (believe it or not), super-quick attention when a couple small issues arose.a lot of nice, conscientious people work here.had to fight my insurance company to get here. SO HAPPY I DID!
Joseph Jackson: Glacier Hills Rehabilitation Center in Ann Arbor MI is a great place for rehabilitation care. The nursing staff are very caring and concerned. They show empathy to their residents/patients. The physical therapy and occupational therapist are exceptional. They provide you with the tools to help assist in the healing process. I would recommend this location to anyone. I believe you'll receive care @ this facility like none other. Great service, great place, and great people!
Sylvia Ertman: Hello everyoneI was a patient in rehab ~ 9 weeks(July-September 2021) I received excellent care. All of the nurses, medical assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists (sorry if I missed anyone) truly care about their patients and their recovery. All of the health care workers were caring, professional, responsible, and had much patience. Most of all, they had wonderful senses of humor..
lola cola: I was there for nearly eight weeks. December 14th, 2018 thru January 16th, 2019. The food was great. Staff was awesome! I was treated with TLC and respect. The best housekeeper was Jeanette! I won't ever forget the people I met there. From,The Daredevil 😀💕
Jimmy Jones: If you care about your family, do not send them to this place. My mom just survived a brain aneurysm 3 weeks back. She was airlifted to U of M hospital where they saved her life. The last three weeks she has fought hard to recover. This place had a representative that came and convinced us that it is '5 star' overstaffed facility, where she would receive the best care and rehabilitation. This was a lie. She waited the first 3 hours before anyone came in to admit her. By this time it was 8:30pm. I left thinking they would take care of her. By 2 am she had to go back to UofM emergency because she couldn't breathe. No one had suctioned her. No one there bothered to call me or my two sisters to tell us of this happening. I came in at 12:30pm after her being brought back at 10:30 am. Finding her not hooked up to her oxygen, the (super loud) machine off, no water in it. Her feeding tube, still full, not hooked to her marked as opened at 9pm the night before. Her call button on a table 4 feet from her reach. Her feet, legs, and gown covered in feces. I push the call button and no one comes to see about it for 20 minutes. I start to look around to find who is here working. One lady is playing on her phone in front of a computer, the other just coming from eating lunch. The later comes in and doesn't know why her machine is off, how long, or who shut it off. Never even recognizes that my mom has poop all over herself. After her excuses, the head nurses excuses, and threats of retaliation from the insurance companies if I removed her, I finally see the staff doctor, wearing a UofM white doctors coat, she says she will arrange for her to go back to U of M. Back at the emergency now my mom is broken in her spirit to fight and wishes that she could just be let to die. Now I have to figure out a new place for her to go. My advice would be to avoid this place, or suffer the pain of watching your loved one be degraded, and made to feel like their life is not worth living. Unbelievable that someone can go from such a great come back to having their spirit brought down in less than 24hrs. Also, no pillow case on her pillow, and they gave her a glass of ice water knowing she cannot eat or drink right now. Never seen the cena worker use gloves, only the head nurse who came in to threaten me.
Kathy Fick: I was here for Rehab for total knee replacement. Awesome care! Best staff ever! Very attentive, caring, good people! I was here for my 1st knee surgery in Sept 2017 and came back for my 2nd in Dec 2017. Rehab was fun! Hopefully won’t need to come back!! Thanks everybody!! I really enjoyed my stay because of YOU!! Would highly recommend!
James Halminiak: Wonderful staff
L Wos: 87 yr old mom had a total hip replacement and selected Glacier Hills to do her post op rehab. Rooms were bright, clean and spacious, as was her bathroom. She has an atrium view which was lovely. She said the food was EXCELLENT and she's a fussy eater. The staff was attentive and answered her call button quickly. She enjoyed the rehab and they were on time and really worked her toward her goals. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this facility....... we've experienced the facilities at the Regency at Bluff Park......( after open heart surgery) and it's a place a I wouldn't send my dog to....yet U of M recommend it because their doctors are affiliated with it. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE. Stay at Glacier Hills.....you'll be much happier....guaranteed.
Mohammed Yunus: Very clean facility. Caring and compassionate staff.
Leya Cunningham: Prejudice staff!
Lawrence Morris: They took good care of my mother for both rehab and assisted living. Staff was friendly. I felt welcome when I visited.
Matt Stanford: The Glacier Hills staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make my Father comfortable and give him the attention he needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of a rehabilitation facility for their loved ones.
Chris Lagona: Great staff to work with - thank you!

Eisenhower Center: what do users think?
Joshua Peoples: was delivering food came in asked if “so and so” worked there, a heavy set black lady (wish i knew her name) said no, as someone else in the other room said “yes shes downstairs”. then the lady said i couldnt go down and would have to call her, so i called the customer and it brought me to the centers voicemail box 3 times, i told the lady i cant contact the customer, could you please let her know or take the food for her, the lady responded “no i cant, youll have to wait for her to meet you up here”.…how i have no way of getting to here because youre beinh a jerk. which definitely gives the idea that this place does the minimum required and doesnt put much care into their work. hope her co worker gpt her food, id quit right away if my co worker couldnt even accept my lunch for me but instead is an asshol e .
Tracy Taylor: They moved people into the apartment complex I live in. Multiple fires to the point one building in the complex is condemned. The aides try to come into my apartment because they don't know where their clients are in my building. The staff doesn't care. I've been here over 10 years and now I don't even want to open my door or leave my apartment. I need to move.
Yva Schumacher: Not getting into details, let's just say the State and the Governor has been contacted about this place. Only wish I could rate this place a 0
Jasper Kyle: I've worked here about a month and a half or 2 months, and it's been a wonderful experience so far. All of the staff are so helpful. And the company itself is always more than willing to accommodate your needs. Everybody here, no matter what position of staff or resident are all treated fairly and equally. I recommend Eisenhower for your family.
Melissa bresler: This place is trash and they treat you awful I don't recommend to no one to live or work here I believe this place should be shut down permanently by the state the food is awful
Byron Handley: The staff there is a bunch of under 25 year old people with no credits or experience with the medical field, no certification or experience. They talk to clients who are bad and the staff are disrespectful. Management is also just bad. They take your cash, phone and everything. Holding it in the office and you are not allowed to have it. They keep disconnected from the world.
Shawn Satterfield: Just removed my son from this facility. He was a client for several years. The last two years have been terrible! The staff are very unprofessional. They do not communicate with each other, clients or guardians. They make promises and do not follow through. He was in an assisted living apartment. They hardly ever checked on him. They moved him to a different apartment complex in the middle of Covid to take in drug addicts. The new apartment was in a terrible complex and was trash. I would not put my dog in that apartment! Police were called there often, as it is one the cheapest apartment complexes in Ann Arbor. They quit transporting him to work because they didn’t have staff available. They rarely had bus tokens to give him and promised to get him a monthly bus pass but never did. The staff were rude when you would call. The management staff constantly lied. Do not even consider this place!
Jessica Wimberly: I have been working here for about 3 1/2 Months and I love working for Eisenhower Center. My co-workers are always willing to help. Everyone is pleasant and ready to care for the clients. The clients are well taken care of. The team work well together. I would recommend Eisenhower center for your family.
Makaila Soto: I love working here! Its flexible with scheduling & there is always fun activities to do with the residents here!
Madelon Keaton: I really enjoyed being a client here because the staff were very helpful and there were other clients that were nice and staff. It was a place with great food , nice staff and helpful and the staff took us on outings. All the staff are very nice and helpful. I recommend people going here.
Chrissy Perry: Very unprofessional! It’s funny these are the same people to make it seem like they are so professional until you work with them. They don’t care about the staff safety. They will have you working with clients that have Covid and will not give you the proper PPE. They have clients sitting in the commons area that have covid with other clients that have tested negative and except you still work around them. I wouldn’t recommend nobody to work or live here
Brooke Prince: I have been working at Eisenhower Center for over 11 years. Throughout the years the company has changed and grown. I would only work at a place for this long that I knew had its heart in the right place. We are not perfect, sometimes our changes don't work out, so we try something new. Ultimately we are here to make sure our clients have an amazing quality of life. I see the efforts to make that happen in all of the EC team members; from administration, billing, food service, maintenance, clinicians, managers, rehab associates... everyone! Being an ESOP it makes the employees take more responsibility to do what it takes to make OUR company great. Eisenhower is like a family to me and I am proud of the work we do for our clients!
Jen Johnson: I have been an employee at Eisenhower Center for the past six years. I absolutely love my job. When I came to Eisenhower, I was really in need of a supportive environment where I could make a difference. I find that at Eisenhower. For the majority of our staff, this job is more than a paycheck. It’s a family. Our clients become more than just a client. Yes, their needs are met but there’s more to it than that. I’ve seen staff bring in home cooked meals for clients. I’ve seen staff purchasing things for clients, such as hygiene items and clothing, using their own money when the client does not have the financial means to do so. I’ve seen staff come in on off hours to celebrate special occasions with clients. We also build relationships with our client’s families and work hard to maintain good communication between the client and there family members.Eisenhower employees are also incredibly supportive of each other. I’ve never worked in a seeing where I have felt cared for as a person, not just a staff.Eisenhower Center has also worked tirelessly to attempt to save benefits for clients who have experience traumatic brain injuries as a result of a catastrophic car accident. The Center continues to advocate for these clients and their families to insure that they continue to receive the services that are needed. If you want to work in a place where you can make a difference and feel valued, this is the place. If you want to see actual positive changes and an interdisciplinary approach to rehabilitation, this is the place.
Greenmom3 G: You’re company should really think about implementing a uniform policy. Your staff looks extremely unprofessional. Your a multi million dollar business and your staff dress like their at home and not a business. I highly recommend scrubs which are inexpensive and appropriate for your business. Suggestive Clothing such as stretch material is highly provocative. Please conduct yourself like a business and you won’t get bad reviews.
Joey Braveheart: This place is trash. The communication between the treatment teams is almost nonexistent, the apartment program has been robbed & held at gunpoint twice. The apartment community in which they have their "Clients" are over ran with drugs. There has been multiple suicides in this place due to lack of empathy from higher ups & some of the floor staff come in with their personal issues & project their problems onto the already depressed clients of this facility. This facilities goals is not to rehabilitate but yet to trap & manipulate in order to gain as much profit they possibly can from the insurance companies. Their is no real therapeutic approaches in which Eisenhower provides. The fact that multiple of these reviews are coming from current employees that have been working for Eisenhower Center since I've been here stating to be "Previous clients" should show you that this EMPLOYEE OWNED COMPANY is ran by crooks that have nothing shy of MOB like mentalities. If I were capable of giving this place no stars & a review I would due to the fact that I myself have ran away from this place numerous times just to be brought back here & one of the times I ran away I legitimately told the court I would much rather be in jail than to stay at Eisenhower Center. To those who work for Eisenhower Center that posted the positive reviews for this place you should be ashamed of yourselves, I have yet to see a successful discharge from this facility. All discharges have been because the client's have regained guardianship or their families removed them from this awful place after finding out what was really going on.I wouldn't consider putting anyone I cared for or loved in such a poorly ran facility.
Amanda F: If you are looking for a professional work environment this is not the place for you. Very unprofessional and unsanitary. Staff are not trained properly to provide quality care to their clients. Client safety is not a priority. Cleanliness is also not a priority. No such thing as infection control. This is a place that I would never want to receive care from and I definitely wouldn't want my own family and friends receiving care from this establishment.
don Adams: I received Physical Therapy at Eisenhower Center following recent knee issues as an out-patient employee. The Physical Therapy department was very professional from my past experience with another PT company following my auto accident about 10 years ago. The therapist I worked with listened to my concerns and helped develop a plan with my input. I would HIGHLY recommend Physical Therapy from Eisenhower Center.
Scott Fritz: First off whoever stated Mr Don Adams and Mrs. Donna Schwartz just committed a HUGE HIPAA violation. If the patient or "clients" as you call them want to state that they're past patients that's their business. Secondly, yes its true they show very little sympathy or care for the "clients" here, this companies goal is to keep clients in their center so that they can keep drawing the insurance money. I was an employee here for 6 years and spent tireless nights and traveled to Lansing to help fight for the protection of auto no fault just to have this company throw me to the curb. Their practices and documentation is tampered and doctored to make everything look great at their center but its not. As another post stated yes, they have dropped their "clients" and yes, some of their "clients" have had their rights violated. They are poorly managed from upper management all the way down to lower management, Their are some great floor staff there that go unrecognized because of the poorly ran management. Do you really want to send your loved ones to a place where your loved ones rights are violated, HIPAA violations being violated on review sites like this and if they do it here then you know they do it other places and lastly you don't want to send your loved ones to a place where they will be physically or emotionally hurt. Do honest research and find a place better than The Eisenhower Center, they are all about how much money they can get per "client" as they call them and how to find a way to keep them longer than they need to be there.
Donna Schwartz: I had a reverse shoulder surgery and had outpatient physical therapy at EC. My first day my therapist put me at ease by telling me that she had researched my surgery over the weekend. I have nothing but praise for my therapist and those that filled in for her. They are very patient and compassionate therapists. I was challenged which helped me get back to work in a timely manner.
Ondria Headley: The place is a joke. The staff is great but the higher up staff don't care about anything for the clients and how they feel. Clients are just dollar signs.
Jon Hannah: Joke,I anybody that you love, don't send there, poorly ran, unethical joke,no real P.T.,no weightMachines, etc.jOT a joke,no hand therapy with numerous spinalcord injury, poorly managed, upper management distant from staffingNumerous complaints from staff and clients, overpriced somewhat legal insurance scam

Pediatric Rehabilitation Center - Commonwealth: what do users think?
Josh Wahlstrom: Been coming here for speech therapy for my child, and Ms. Hannah has been amazing with them.
Jessica Mckee: At first this place was great, my sons therapists work great with him but the place itself is horrible!! They can't keep track with insurance, half the time my sons appointments aren't covered for some odd reason, I don't get calls when a therapist isn't going to be there which means I drive an hour and half, cancel anything else going on for the day to take my son to his appointment to find out SHE ISNT EVEN THERE THAT DAY and couldn't bother to get a call to inform us. I think I will be looking elsewhere for my sons vital stim since it is EXTREMELY important for his health to BE ABLE TO SWOLLOW.
Corrie Shanahan: Therapist was disorganized, didn't spend a lot of time with my child, or seem to know much about her although records were sent. Would not recommend.
Amanda Rock: My son has been going here since he was 7 Months old, he is now 5. He has had speech, OT, PT, Pelvic floor Therapy, and sees one of the physical medicine doctors here. The front desk people are fantastic. My son loves them. I will not go anywhere else for his care.
Debbie Sieb: The therapists are wonderful. They have been working with my daughter for over 2 years. Very caring and compassionate.
Khodr Fawaz: I have a very bad experience in this place
Chuck Anderson: My granddaughter received help from several therapists at this location. They were all amazing and did a great job with her. We are very happy with her progress and believe that they made a significant contribution to her development, as well as helping us understand how to help her when she is not in therapy. The front desk staff is friendly, courteous, takes a personal interest in the children and does their job with lots of patience and generosity. I highly recommend this center.
Jessica M: I can't imagine going ANYWHERE else for any type of care, or medical treatment!
Jacqui: Therapy was mediocre. The therapist could not bill correctly. She gave exercises for nerve/neuropathy issues but did not use it to get services covered. The lack of help and experience with billing was dealt with poorly. Follow through was also poor. My son was sick and no calls were made to make sure he was ok. The check in stafff are rude. I am a nurse so I have seen the ins and outs of this business and I am truly disappointed. Even more alarming is when the physical therapist said that usually people don't get the bill until months later. This is very scary because if services are not covered , you will get a huge shock when you get the bill over $2000. Even scarier is that it will skyrocket each visit as therapy goes on and on.

Rehabilitation Health Center: what do users think?
Judith Hofweber: The therapist Gerlind, has been exceptionally professional!I feel like I've made my greatest progress in the last 6 weeks after 4 and 1/2 months previous to this with other therapists in other facilities. Gerlind seems to really care that I make progress.I like the one-on-one attention and the variety of exercises. Plus massage of the, in my case knee joint.Well done! I would highly recommend her.
Hannah Wise: Just love this Rehabilitation Center!
Marsha Brashears: I have had nothing but the greatest care. Every step of the way. Ann Herbert was my PT. I can't say enough about how great she is.
