Restaurant Depot: what do users think?
Rihana Yenpanya: I love this Ypsilanti location compare all 3 locations around Detroit area. Been shopping here for almost 2 years.Recently just had bad experience two time. I am not going to low rate to hurt their business just because bad management. Manager very rude to me when I was confused about my credit in my account. Their employee who heard everything had to come up to me to apologize on his/her manager behavior.Hope this fix someday. Everyone shop here owns their business so we know how customer service should be.
Yura 4o: very nice people and fast unloading.20 min
Ramiz Aleskerov: Fast 20 min unloading
Joy Q: The cashier lady is ridiculously rude! BEWARE! The prices in their system are different from the price tags. They overcharged me several times and I showed her the receipts and she refused to refund and said she has to check the camera???? Also, she told me it's the customer's responsibility to find the price differences and its my problem to get overcharged????? This place is just unbelievable.
Cerebral: Huge place and friendly staff. Love the savings we get
Abdulghani Al-Mohen: Place is nice.. but customers serviceNot friendly at all..
syed shah: Always good stuff there
Eddie LaVallee: Had a 1200 appointment called ahead told me yo come on in in and out with in 30 minutes
vitaliy hudz: Fast unloading lots of room.Parking on the street Quiet
Neeraj sharma: My appt was 8 am be there 7.30 got door right way and done within 20 min great lady
jamie Jones: 10 am appt got here a bit early lady grabbed my paperwork said your appt is at 11. I said no it's 10 she said if I didn't like it I can leave. Wonderful customer service. You realize delivery drivers are your customers also. I can imagine how you treat people that actually buy your stuff. Spoke to manager lady just as useless as receiving lady. Said she didn't care what happens out in receiving just cares about what happens in store. 2 docks open 1 truck bieng worked on
jack see: When I ask the workers to find something for me they take 45 minutes finding it and acting like they don't care.
Michele Dale-Cannaert: Nothing in stock. Tried to get a replacement for damaged goods- told "We are not liable once you leave the store". Won't be shopping here in the future.
K S: Bought a case of avocado and the whole case is bad except 1 avocado. I buy other ingredients for my small business at this restaurant depot but never had an entire case is bad. Avocado is very expensive and this hurts the business.
Rolling With Ruckus: Terrible place, will never deliver here again. lady at the receiving dock was very rude and had a attitude problem. If she hates her job so much to be rude to people that are bringing products to this location I can only imagine how she talks to customers or co workers.
Karen Barbu: Good selection of products
Jules Van Dyck-Dobos: Very good selection, excellent service and price.
Nikita Davis: Cool store for restaurants 😁
Rudy Gonzalez: Great place to shop for all your restaurant needs, nice atmosphere and great prices.
Roger LeBlanc: Great place, Jessica was very helpful. Give that girl a raise!!!
Christopher Gollakner: My name is Chris and I'm the assistant floor manager here, I love this job and we have a amazing crew, we work together to give the best customer service in the USA, No matter who you approach when your needing assistance you will be given personal assistance with a smile and grace, we welcome you and hope to see you soon, From everyone here at restaurant depot we look forward to seeing you soon.

Sur La Table: what do users think?
Amy: I only come here to look at the pricey items I don’t really need for my kitchen but want anyways. It’s fun to pop in when I’m in the shopping area and see what cool gadgets I could implement in my cooking.
Devin Hamlin: I emailed the store several times, as instructed by customer service, to inform them of a food allergy for a cooking class. They never responded, and did not tell us until right before that they would be unwilling to accommodate the allergy, despite customer service reassuring me otherwise via the phone.Manager was to follow up on classes that could be taken with the food allergy and did not.
Jessi Colling: I guess I should be happy I got a refund. I got an email saying my refund was being processed for my cooking class I had booked for my MILs birthday even though I didn't ask for one. I had to call customer service to find out it was canceled. If you can tell your system to email people when they get a refund you can also tell your system to email people automatically when a class is canceled. Guess I should be happy I found out before we drove out there.
Jean R: Meg at Arbor Hills did a super job taking care of a gift card situation.
Christopher Clemmons: Excellent store. I just bought my espresso machine. It was shown as out of stock, but the staff went the extra mile to find it for me and was able to get it in-store.
Chester Lee: Excellent staff and service!
Taco: It's the not the best place, the staff weren't the friendliest people and it took way to long to check out, it's also rather expensive and there's always a problem everytime I went in here about the cash registers, and the staff don't remind you that u don't put ur pin number in because it will say decline.
Courtney Spencer: My family and I (8 of us) booked a cooking class and we’re really looking forward to it! We drove from Battle Creek and Grand Rapids (275 miles round trip, 4 hours driving) only to find out upon arrival that the class has been canceled, noting we should have received an email and a refund. All 8 of us in our group checked for said email and/or refund which none of us had received. Another group of 4 came in shortly after us and we’re told the same thing. 12 people arriving for the same class indicates this was a system failure on Sur la Table and the fact that we were told to reach out to customer service on our own, for a refund is baffling to me. For a store marketing they have the finest cookware and exquisite dining experiences, one would think they should have the customer service to match. In reading these online reviews, it’s apparent we aren’t the first individuals this has happened to, indicating this method of canceling class has failed before. The waste of time, money, and minimal effort on the brand to help make this right is incredibly disappointing.
Jeff Layman: Our family loves Sur La Table, so for our holiday get-together we booked a cooking class. We all drove in to Ann Arbor from Grand Rapids and Battle Creek, only to find out the class had been cancelled. No phone call, no email, no refund (as of this writing) and hours of wasted time. We were given a polite apology and a phone number to call Customer Service - that’s it. We couldn’t be more upset.
Patricia Deldin: We were scheduled for a class this morning and they didnt show up. Plus their customer service was totally unhelpful and in the Philippines. With how much they charge, they should have u.s. workers and better service.
Lisa Oconnell: Arrived at 7:10 p.m. to see two workers inside near cash register ignoring all the people (12-15) at the door for a store that is supposed to close at 8 p.m. Really? Monday before Christmas - no reason given. I drove 25 minutes to get there! They just don't care!?! I hope the other 12 people write a review too.
Giselle Stitt: Got myself a new Cuisinart Coffee Maker and a really good Knife. Happy Birthday to Me!!!
William Young: Wonderful dishes! I typically have gotten the Shashuka breakfast which is really good but this time I went outside my bubble and ordered the cold smoked salmon omelet which was delicious; next time I'm definitely getting Alan's Mishmash! A friend of mine ordered that & it looked and smelled amazing!
Lindsey Mott: The staff here is incredible! Will definitely be back!
Aylin Jerkins: Took a cooking class here. It was such an amazing time! Our instructor went at the right pace for us to keep up and was very patient. The food was fun to make and delicious. We learned a lot of new tips and tricks. The instructor was not pushy at all to buy their products after and was very straightforward on what was needed. Would definitely recommend for a fun night out with anyone.
Elizabeth Lombard: Their baking/cooking classes are INCREDIBLE. I’ve taken two now, and the instructors are so knowledgeable and skilled, but also adept at explaining complex techniques to inexperienced bakers like myself. I always end up buying some of their products in the store, and the staff always have fantastic recommendations and really know their stuff.
Shawna Gerry: Received a date night cooking class from my daughter for Xmas! We had a blast! We had booked two more classes, but they were canceled because of a kitchen emergency. We were refunded for them.
Marjory Luther: Unable to reach by phone
Skylar Ross: If there was a cliff, I would have jumped.By far the biggest disappointment of the holidays. Started off with walking around the store with my wife waiting for the date night “cooking class”. Not a single employee said anything until we brought up we were there for a cooking class. That was about 15-20 min after entering. Once the class started Phil the “chef” lead off with slander towards my profession. Great first impression. My wife and I figured we would brush it off and move on. As the class went on, we soon learned this was not a date night cooking class, more like a commune cooking class. Combined all the potatoes everyone cut into one pan. Instead of duck fat, we used olive oil. We were assigned to cut a shallot, apparently the shallot we chopped wasn’t needed…. So why did we cut and waste food?!? About 45 minutes in we begin with the steak…. Our cooking partners next to us were going to cook our steak because there wasn’t enough cooking stations…… we were floored. I walked out and spoke with the manager and was in total disbelief at what we had just gone through. We left and went to shake shack across the street. Phenomenal!Chef Phil was very unprepared, now you know why he has bounced around from job to job and state to state. To bad he doesn’t have my profession….
Tayler Swinson: BY FAR the best store attitude & customer service! Dory was extremely patient with me as I asked her 1,000,001 questions about their Jura specialty coffee makers. She was even so kind to me that she walked my purchase out to my car. Talk about customer service! If you want anything for your kitchen this is the store to go to
Carol Parent: Very fun Macaron class

The Kitchen Loft: what do users think?
Kevin Miller: Friendly staff, variety of items
Jess Liang: I was thrilled about the variety of items, especially the cute aprons. It felt like a Williams-Sonoma, but more approachable. One star off because I had a Visa rewards card with $20 and for whatever reason, the shop's system would not take it (the clerk was kind enough to tell me, "it's not your card, it's us"). I was told that management is aware of the problem but hadn't been getting to it, which is disappointing. I hope that gets rectified sooner rather than later. I'd really been hoping to use it for this shop.EDIT: I've noted the response from the shop below, and FWIW, my card had been activated and I knew the balance. I don't know whether or not that's a good data point, but it might help when troubleshooting.
Madeline Dahl: I am so thrilled Ann Arbor has a locally owned small business like this! We needed a good kitchen store and this absolutely fits the bill. I’m impressed with how much they fit into their small space. All of the essentials for the dedicated home cook and some delightful non-essentials too. This will be my go-to from now on.
Donna Lahiff: The Kitchen Loft is a very fun place to shop. The variety is awesome. I was pleased to find exactly what I was looking for, too - clear ramekins. I have looked high and low in big box stores with no luck so kudos to The Kitchen Loft. I happened to drop in the weekend before Christmas and the sales associates were very calm, helpful, efficient and so personable, too. I will return.
Bridget Vis: This is a great new store in Kerrytown! I found almost all of my holiday gifts here. The staff was super helpful and very friendly (I'm in a boot and they went above and beyond to make sure I didn't have to walk or carry too much around the store). I was able to find a lot of unique items and many made locally or in Michigan. I would highly recommend checking them out and supporting the new shop!

Northern Pizza Equipment, Inc.: what do users think?
Brad Lydick: Great customer service and always there to help me with needs.
Jason Ford: Good guys always helping out
Scott Neal: Very nice and helpful staff
James Danosky: I have been in business for 26 years and they have never let me down. This is my go to place for all my equipment and parts.
Perry Atkins: These guys are awesome!! They're always there for sales and more importantly service. First rate technical help that will save time and money.
jaspal sohi: Never doing business with them again. I bought a 10,000 dollar pizza oven from them through eBay. It took 4 to 6 weeks arrived and on top of that it arrived damaged.I asked the company to help me find a solution to fix this. At first, they wouldn’t send me the part needed to fix it. On top of that, they wouldn’t help cover the cost of repairing the oven.I contacted eBay and asked for a full refund, and only after this was the company willing to cooperate. After eBay contacted the company, they sent me the part needed to fix the oven and also payed for the labor to repair it.I’m only writing this review because I don’t want anyone else to have to put up with this.
Jeff Monaghan: Todd said order would come in 3 days, took 13 days. Terrible customer service with no care or apology.
Dennis G: Excellent services and equipment at a fair price.
Steven Beson: I own a pizza franchise and these guys are not only amazing with customer service, but always have the best prices and every random old piece that I'll need for all my equipment. This is always the place I go first for pizza equipment. In one instance, I made an order (I'm in Florida, they're based in MI) and the gentleman was actually headed down to Florida for vacation so he DROVE DOWN WITH MY PART and saved me on shipping. How insanely amazing is this? I can't recommend them enough, they've earned a lifelong customer.
Keith Heim: This is a shining example of how a company should be! They care about their employees like no other, the staff is kind and obviously knows what they are talking about. I have used this company for many years now and have never been disappointed. They have been in business for over 20 years!! Their name is synonymous with quality, and they do not deviate from that and have not for their whole time in business. They stand behind their products which is why they will go above and beyond if there are any warranty issues. If you want to be disappointed with your restaurant equipment purchase, then go somewhere else, with their competitive pricing over new and professionally refurbished equipment, this company can not be beat which is why I will continue to do business with them.
