Michael Taillard: Great service. Was a big help in establishing how to charge our EV at the RV hookups in campgrounds.
Joseph Contreras: Sales professionalJake will take care of you if you are making a new purchase in every way possible .He made it his mission to understand what my needs were (Pets, storage, slide outs, bed size, and bells and whistles) and did not stop until we found the prefect Camper. He also filled me in on everything I needed to know to be camping by Memorial Day weekend he has created a customer for life and I could not possibly be happier!
Etownn: Came in for their parking lot party in May. Was disappointed that all campers were locked and a sales associated had to take keys to show us around. We are just starting to decide what floor plan will work for us and we knew we weren’t buying that day so we left. We didn’t want to waste a salesman’s time with other customers waiting. Disappointing for such an advertised event. I understand this may be due to theft but better security for these events may help retain potential customers. I will say that the front hostess/greeter was incredibly friendly.
Elizabeth Gray: Made an appointment and visited to look over some pop up campers. We were very nicely greeted and our information gathered. Very nice store inside with a good selection. The salesperson was very helpful to begin with and made sure the ones we wanted to look at were set up. First off a couple of the pop ups we looked at were in rough shape, dents everywhere inside, tears, stains on the vinyl and one the interior cabinet wasn't even attached. If you want to sell those units then fix them up first. We drove to their second lot and found one we liked and asked about adding AC to it. We were never asked what our payment range was, we were going off what was advertised on the website as a estimate of a payment. The salesman came to us with a estimated payment for the pop up with AC added and it was way over our budget. He scoffed at us and pretty much made us feel like we wasted his time. Didn't even try to see if we wanted to work out a payment on another one we saw, he just walked away. We were hesitant to visit a dealer to find a pop up but thought it would be the easiest to get financing, but apparently not. We won't be back.

james rochford: Tried selling us an rv that was missing the stove claimed it dint come with one when the same exact model right next to it had one. You could clearly tell the one was damaged and replaced it with a drawer but the worst part is the put a diffrnet model oven door on the drawer to make it look like there was a oven. Stove top and oven door brands weren't even the same. If we didn't open the fake over door we wouldn't have noticed. Horrible!!...after writing this review I received a call stating they did research and that model doesn't come with a oven. Once I claimed they were lieing and they said they wouldn't do that. I informed them I called dutchman and I was told that model should have a oven . Then they stated oh well we have had that one in our lot for awhile so we don't know what happened. Why not just make the customer happy and replace the oven.!! Horrible business!!

Everything explained very well on the walk through(sorry forgot his name) Had a couple issues we found when we got it home & Jason is on it making it right! Andy Ruzzin: I attempted to buy a $125,000 5th wheel at National RV, they don't deal on price compared to nearly everyone else. If you want to PAY SIGNIFICANTLY MORE AND GET SIGNIFICANTLY LESS FOR YOUR TRADE, these are your guys. In fact, when I attempted to verbally share competitive pricing from other dealers they told me to buy elsewhere, they never even attempted to make a deal or tell me the best they could do, I think that tells you all you need to know. YES you read that right, the salesman told me "don't bother coming here, we don't sell RVs at those prices". It's rare when a salesman tells you to go elsewhere because you competitively shopped them. I gave them 1-star because zero was not possible. BTW my credit score is 800+ and yearly income is $200k so I am a well qualified buyer. Most everywhere else offered better deals, Terrytown, Bishes, General RV, Camping World, Lazy Days. I bought mine at TerryTown in Grand Rapids.
Heather RN: We had a unique situation with a replacement claim due to our previous Zinger camper getting destroyed in a recent tornado. Steve in sales was great with picking up the ball from a mess of confusion from our claims adjuster and other factors. Joe in finance was great at explaining the paperwork and warranties. Chris and Carl in the service department was excellent in setting up our camper and answering all the questions we had with our hitch and prepping the camper for the road. The ladies in the parts store were very welcoming and pleasant. We purchased our original Zinger from the big well known RV store and we refused to go back due to once we signed on the bottom line there was no follow through with sending us on the road. At National RV they took their time, explained everything. “National RV” maybe their name but they ended with a hometown handshake as we drove away with our new Zinger. Courtney Gennari: I bought a brand new 2022 fifth wheel toy hauler in April of 2022 from this dealership. We have had a few issues with the camper since buying it, but we live 2 hours away from this dealership in Ohio, and use our camper very often, so trying to get it up there to have the issues fixed has been hard (not their fault but our own since we were still using the camper very often). We finally took the camper up there to be fixed and initially had to take things off of our repair list that would not be corrected/fixed, once told warranty might not cover the repairs. However, Chris the service manager called and was able to work with us and help to fix the issues we initially wanted corrected from the get go. We have had several issues since buying the camper from this dealership, but am glad to say they are willing to make it right with us and to correct any issues/concerns we had/have had with the camper in the past!!Everyone is human and makes mistakes, it is how you respond and make it right that is what matters in the end! Thank you National RV for acknowledging us as customer's and not just another sale!

jack winfree: I had issues with my camper leaking after one month of purchasing it. The service manager claimed it’s from normal use and said I’d be responsible for any service and diagnostic fees. It began leaking after the first use. Once they sell you a unit all customer service goes out the window.

John Rigdon: Candis is great and is a very help. I have rented from Anthony’s for the last couple of years and plan to continue to rent from them.
Kimbrell Curtis: This was our 1st time renting an RV and we rented it to drive down from Michigan to South Carolina to visit with my son and his fiance. All I can say is I'm glad that we rented the RV from Anthony's RV Rentals. Candis made sure we were comfortable handling it and did a thorough check of the inside and outside while making sure we knew where and how to utilize all the amenities. We had a terrific time. It was so convenient not having to stop for bathroom breaks and there was the Queen sized bed in the back to lay down and take a nap, because my grandbaby was with us. I highly recommend Anthony's RV rental for all your traveling needs. Our RV was spacious and very clean. There was no problem picking it up and turning it in. We had no problems at all. Candis is the best, she's the best. I highly recommend them.

Check in took a bit longer than planned due to delays earlier in the day but she doubled our generator hours for free and tossed in toilet paper and a pot as well. Would gladly rent here again!

Larry Weinberg: Never rented a Rv and was oprehensive. Anthony's Rv's put us at ease and explained all processes and prepared us for are trip to Colorado. Looking forward to planning a another trip with Anthony's Rvs soon. They returned are deposit within 24 hours of returning the rv. This is the way to travel for us from now on. I was impressed with the water pressure form the sink and shower in the rv. We rented the coachmen freelander 30bh. Plenty of room for are family of 5. Rv was clean and walk through was completed before they released the rv to us. Also they where nice enough to let us use some camping chairs.
Michael Taillard: Riddled with problems. The price quotes kept changing when we first tries making reservations as the person kept getting dates or calculations wrong. Hard to contact to confirm reservations. Regularly not open during business hours or late to appointments. The RV we rented ended-up having a cracked water heater, so there was no hot water the whole trip. The toilet had a small leak. They charge obscene fees for service (gas tank refills are $5/gallon + $50 admin fee.... winterization is $500). This place is hard to find and stuck in a side entrance to someone else's building. Would definitely not recommend.
Jessica Hardeman: I am warning others about this RV rental company because they have poor customer service and I had to go through my bank in order to receive a refund from this company.I booked and paid in full as requested by the company's policy to rent a Jayco Greyhawk for my trip. A week before I was due to leave for my trip; I was informed by Candis from the company that I would have to select another vehicle because the Jayco Greyhawk had been given to someone else.Candis informed me that I would be able to choose from something better but none of the RV'S that were available were comparable to the Jayco Greyhawk.I expressed my disappointment and displeasure because it was such short notice to my trip and Candis became antagonistic and said that it is their right to do as they choose with their vehicles.I requested for my money back for the Jayco Greyhawk that I rented and Candis informed me that I would need to speak to the owner Anthony first.I immediately contacted my bank to request my money back and it was three weeks before the owner Anthony contacted me. The owner Anthony was not apologetic and he never asked any questions about what he could have done to make things right.Please be careful if you rent from this company.

Mack Turner: Purchased a coach last year from David, paid for his inspection only to find none of the stuff they said they fixed, was actually fixed. Was told they would order parts and after numerous calls over several months, I've given up on every receiving them.

Bennett Bakes: Extremely unhelpful. Very disappointed. Was a complete waste of time. Definately would not recommend having these people sell your rv nor recommend trying to purchase from them. The man at the desk acted as though our family was an inconvenience.
Always Pontooning: We purchased a used Thor Ace 29.1 Motorhome from Michigan RV this past March. We were very nervous because we had never owned one before and had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Dave was very helpful in being able to meet with us at our convenience and answered all of our questions. Mark met with us and went over everything the inside and out of the motorhome and then even answered questions for a couple weeks over the phone as we were learning while using. We had some issues that came up right after we purchased the unit due to being preowned and Dave did not even hesitate to tell us to bring it back and we’ll fix it. Everything seems to be working just great now and we were able to use it in March for a short weekend and again at the end of April. The next two weekends we will be traveling with it and more trips planned this summer. We are very happy with the purchase and the experience with Michigan RV Broker and so happy that they are close by if we ever need anything.
Tim Soules: Mark was courteous, professional and knowledgeable! Mark came to the campground and installed a part in the cold and rain at a reasonable rate. I would highly recommend the service department!
Gene Williams (Midnight BMD): Run don't walk from this business. A very twisted idea of offering motorhomes for sale to the public. No knowledge of RV's what so ever. They cannot answer questions or choose not too, will not demo unit for you, oh and did I say you cannot test drive the rig either until you sign a contract to buy!!! Lots of double talk and no straight answers. My god this is no way to represent a motorhome seller or treat a potential buyer.
John Macias: I called and spoke with a salesman that seemed very excited to list my RV. I discussed a price based on the NADA. He told me NADA has no idea what the value of an RV is. I sent him the photos and information he asked for and never heard from him again. My RV was still under warranty and was used only 5 times, it's as perfect as you're going to find but apparently is not good enough for these guys. Run away, far away from these people.

Randy P: Took my Reflection in for a warranty claim estimate, they asked me to leave it overnight to do the estimate. Didn’t get a call the next day or the day after. The service department is impossible to get a hold of, the agent I worked with has a full mailbox so you can’t leave a message. Left a message with the service department manager and after 5 days never got a call. They have no idea of how to treat a customer, I felt like they didn’t care at all. I’ll never go back there.
Ed Meurer: Recently visited General RV to pick up some propane for my RV, as no one in the Novi or Wixom area has RV friendly propane service. The service attendant took care of it immediately & I was on my way. Easy-peazy!

Jordan Kananen: Bought a caper new in Apri 2023, and have no major complaints with the buying process, our sales rep (Jarrod) was great.They installed our weight distributing hitch incorrectly which has led to the air suspension failing on one trip, and the hitch saddle shearing on the following trip, leading to wiring getting crushed. When I tried to get them to correct it, I was told I'm wrong, and the setup of the hitch doesn't affect the ball weight (FYI it does!!).So overall, great place to buy a camper, but I'll never have them touch my camper again.

Tom Goodin took really good care of us he listened to us and kept our best intrest in mind. I also have to mention Mike, Chuck and adam. James Wright: I wish there was a way to let all know to avoid this retail operation. The problem is that it looks like they monopolize brands that are in the most demand. I myself made a huge mistake after swearing. I would never again purchase an RV from General RV after 3 horrific ecperances with 3 purchases. My wife and I decided we wanted to purchase a solitude 310gk 5th wheel. For years, many other dealers carried this brand. Recently, Grand Design has become popular, and now only General RV carries them in Michigan. So I recently purchased one. 4 months in, we found a roof leak service adviser said I should have looked closer when doing our walk through Said it was a caulking problem, and this, is it regular maintenance not covered under warranty, 4 month owner ship not under warranty? They found there was no caulk around the antena. After arguing, they fixed it. Many other small issues we had to battle to get repaired, same reasoning I should have seen them on walk through. 5 months later, the first trip out had malfunction of fresh water system. No water when dry camping. We were stranded and called their service department and was told they would call me right back.You know the result, no call back. I looked at the issue problem, which was a street water check valve, according to Google. I looked and found that during the winterizing, I had them do while in for warranty repairs they put the washer and screen for the fresh water fill port in backward, causing the check valve to stay open making the water when the pump was on pump out of the port and not to the interior faucets. I am swearing again, never will I spend a penny at General RV. Please warn others. If they are the only ones carrying a brand, you are interested in go out of state or compromise on another brand

Sandra: Once you sign for a purchase? Beware if you have problems. Major vehicle issue drop off’s are not a priority for the service department. They don’t inspect what they sell, so my suggestion is to hire an inspector before you sign. It’ll save you the headache I’m going through. 2023 Thor Tellaro 20L has been there for over a week and still waiting…
Kimberly Smith: BEWARE !!!! DO NOT, DO NOT have these people fix your RV. They will give you an initial price and then charge u double, adding on other unnecessary fees. They are SCAMMERS. Someone has to pay for their thousands of employees. I don't even see the work that they claimed to charge me for. LIE CHEAT and SCAM. They changed out my toilet and took of my quality, bigger toilet and added a kid size toilet.
Lisa Hastings: The worst service department I have ever worked with! They have had our RV for 6 months to fix electrical issues. We can't get anyone to answer our calls or give us an update on when they will have it finished. This is the 2nd motorhome that we have purchased from them and we should have learned our lesson the first time. They are happy to take your money but they aren't capable of fixing your RV when it needs repairs!

Joe Vap: I wish I would have read the other reviews before I made the mistake of doing business with General RV. Hands down the worst buying experience I've ever had.We literally had dozens of issues with our brand new Class B van. You would think when you pay over $100k for something it would be in good shape when you first get it.The most egregious errors are:1) they forgot to connect the pipes to the rear sink. Had to drive 2 hours to go back and get them to fix it.2) as soon as we drove off the lot, saw that our brand new vehicle had an airbag issue. They obviously were aware of the problem before we bought it, but now it's our responsibility to find a Dodge dealer to get the issue resolved.3) the rear coach air conditioning does not work. When we brought it back the first time, they claimed it was working fine. Now that we have it home and it is much warmer, it obviously doesn't work. Their answer is to bring it back to Michigan, 6 hours from home, for the third time.No thanks, I will be looking for another dealer that can get it right the first time.It's unbelievable that they consider this to be a reasonable buying experience.If I had any idea how poor their service would be, I'd never, ever consider doing business with them. As the attached picture shows, our brand new van is "in the shop", not at our home. If you are reading this, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...UPDATE:So I post a bad review, then apparently since General RV has so many bad reviews, they paid for an automated message to “please call so they can address my concerns”. Guess what, I called back, they confirmed who I was, said they would call back and I never heard from them again.In the meantime, I finally found an honest RV sales and service dealer, Cunningham RV in southern Indiana. They determined that the AC in my rig was never connected to the control panel from time of manufacture. So it was never going to work. I paid General RV over $2k for “dealer prep” which presumably would include making sure the AC worked, among the dozens of other issues. Again this is a brand new rig. When I disputed the part of the sales price I put on my credit card since they clearly did NOT prep my rig, the response they provided my credit card company clearly took them many hours. Its a shame they didn’t spend those hours preparing my rig to begin with. When they spend more time fighting legitimate claims than they do actually providing service, you have someone dealing in bad faith who has no interest in service, just trying to rip you off as a business model. I can only hope this review will save at least one other person for the terrible mistake I made walking into General RV.

sam kaff: Because I had excellent experience with General RV (Brownstown location) about 2 years ago, I came back. I found a good trade at Wixom location which I got. after talking with the salesman and taking a tour into the trailer, we found couple of things needed to be fixed. A week later, I went to pick it up thinking everything would be fixed but it wasn't. I picked it up and was told to schedule a time to finish what's needed. a week later I called about 8 times and every time either I end up on hold for 10 minutes and then hang up. it has been more than a month now and I am still waiting on the part to be fixed. I would not come back to this location. It has the worst customer service. it's horrible.

MsA: So unhappy with this place! Nobody listens or get back to you when you need to talk to them. You have to jump through hoops just to get someone to answer a phone. They don’t explain things clearly when you sign, they ran my credit without telling me, and they won’t give me my deposit back when I had to told them I had to back out the next do to finances! Do not go to this place!
Joseph Bauer: Made first RV purchase. Sales floor was great. They answered a lot of questions. Financial department, well made it as comfortable as possible 😀. VIP tour of your vehicle is very helpful. Made sure our truck was safe to pull our new purchase.Then the ice storm 😡. Needless to say it’s back at General and getting fixed up, did I mention it was NEW 3 days before the ice storm 😩.They have been very helpful throughout this whole experience! Actually just want to go camping!!!!
Nathan Sprick: I highly recommended using caution with working with General RV Center – Wixom. As putting a deposit down on a camper that doesn’t mean they will hold it for you. They will and have sell a camper with a hold deposit on it. Therefore, if you want a company, you can trust and rely on. I recommended shopping elsewhere. If you must shop at General RV Center – Wixom, avoid working with Chris Cole or Chris Lindamood at all costs. When talking on the phone Chris only gave his first name meaning both are getting name dropped. As a sales manager he lacks the mental capacity to understand customer service. I could go into detail about how he poorly represents General RV Center – Wixom, but mainly returning the hold deposit back would be a great spot to start.I hope the actual owner reads this, as I know that most companies have the sales manager reply to these. However, look at your reviews. You clearly have a customer service issue from your sales managers and this rest solely on you.
