Josh Perkin: I’m an electrician and this is the only place I will go to return scrap wire. Today while I was returning wire, my box broke and Max saw and brought containers out to my car to help out. John Cox: I go here because they pay in dollars and cents. There's another place near Whitmore Lake, a little closer to the farm, but their software rounds down (truncates) to the nearest dollar.

I live closer to Razorback than there competitors, I thought I would give them a try.I had a pickup truck load of scrap metal and a old catalytic converter. after unloading the pickup. I went to payment counter, I asked the man if they buy converters. He said yes, I asked him how much he would give me. He says I need to take it to back of the building. So I took it to back of the building.A women took it, I asked her how much she was going to give me? She says, I needed to go back to office guy, then she took my converter to back of the building. I went to the office guy, he gives me a low ball check. I asked how much did you give me for the converter, he says $30. He never looked at my converter. I said WHAT he say "that's all it's worth" and walked away!You won't have an Honest experience!

The process is easy, drive up on the scale for scrap steel, dump your scrap, reweigh and get paid. If you have non ferrous metals they are weighed in the building. Everyone is pleasant and glad to see you. Prices are definitely competitive and fluctuate up with the market. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Price seemed fair for the scrap steel I brought in. Always happy when I get money for cleaning up junk around the yard.

Dump scrap iron in designated spot. Go to side garage door and have copper and brass weighed. Go to pay window. Get money. May have to wait for check by mail if high enough amount.

Jeffrey Pieske: BUYER BEWAREI bought an engine with a 30 day warranty/return. My car ended up not needing it. When I went to return it, the guy told me it had been 31 days and there was nothing he could do. I counted 30 days, he counted 31. When actually it had only been 26 days since they had taken it out. I guess the warranty/return starts when you pay a deposit not when they make the part available. This was always my go to place, but not any more. I will NEVER spend another dime here.

Brenda Vaishnav: I have always had a positive experience. I support recycling which is why I go here from time to time. I’ve taken a variety of commercial and residential items which include metal fixtures, old earphones (wiring), clothes iron, etc. If you have a little bit of stuff you can haul it to the scale on a flatbed cart. If you have a car full you can drive onto the scale, get weighed, drop your stuff at the designated location, and get weighed again. You do get paid for the stuff they take. But to me it’s more important that my junk is not going to a landfill. I wish more people recycled this way.

Kevin Burton: Tried using this place twice.Online says open Saturday’s until 2.Physical sign says open saturdays until 2.Both times I’ve gone during business hours and they’ve been closed, no one answers the phone. Update your business hours and stop wasting people’s time.
Anthony Fick: I read a few of the negative reviews on here about how they offer you a higher price over the phone and then drop price once you get there and have unloaded but I unfortunately went there anyway cause i thought i was getting a good deal. i brought in some stripped wire that haggerty metals downgraded to copper #2 prices when several other scrap yards gave me 'bare and bright' prices from the exact same wire pull. i also noticed that it was about 8 pounds lower than what I had measured before i arrived. another thing that is kind of suspicious is that haggerty metals used to have way more negative reviews and now a company that's been around for almost 30 years has only 83 (at the time of writing) google reviews total?
Mark Bryant: Good fair prices on copper and aluminum. They don’t mess around and give you attitude like most of the yards in the area. Hugh is a real genuine and helpful person and that is a really hard thing to say for most people in the area. All of the staff are legit too.

They rob you bad scrap steel is $180-$200 a ton and they lie to people who don't know the industry saying its $89 a ton thats a major difference i wouldn't do business with these shady people go to H & H in Inkster Mi they pay correctly and dont try to scam and rob you.

Melissa Dishman: Today was my first experience at haggerty metals. So naturally I had no idea where to go or exactly what I was doing to begin with. I had some scrap copper that I wanted to sell and as soon as I pulled up to the office I seen a friendly face standing there ready to help me unload my vehicle. And then it was so quick that I wasn't sure I was done I conveniently got my ticket from the very kind man that inventoried my copper and it went straight to a kiosk scanned my barcode and boom! There was my money! Had a very good experience here I would recommend it to anyone if you got scrap metal that you want to take off take it to haggardy metal
