Sun & Snow Sports - Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Christopher Ulrey: Went to 3 different ski shops and almost gave up on finding ski boots. I have a high instep with high arches and have a hard time with ski boots. The Rob spent a lot of time with me and heat molded my boots and liners, and custom footbeds. My ski boots felt just right after.
Maurice Chojecki: Lovely people with great integrity!Very helpful and worked with me on some exchanges even though they didn't have to
Not Telling: A+++ service. They really go the extra mile.
David Klingensmith: I bought my ski boots at REI. I was able to have the boots heat molded to my feet but the boots still needed a little bit of an adjustment. I was disappointed to learn they really don't do much custom boot fitting. Even though I did not purchase the boots at Sun & Snow, they were able to accommodate me with an appointment. Upon arrival, Molly, the custom boot fitter, was very enthusiastic from the start. I have an unusual foot. Somewhat wide, high arch and an even higher instep. Molly looked at my foot and knew exactly what to do. After a number of adjustments, my boots now fit like a glove. Just in time for my upcoming trip to Big Sky Montana. What an amazing experience. I highly recommend Sun and Snow!!
Lindsay Simancek: The only way to buy boots is by appointment with a boot fitter. I know what boot size and the two I want to try but that’s not allowed.I edited the review to 2 stars because Rob, the co-owner, did get in touch to try to help. Ultimately, communication missteps lead to me missing the appointment he squeezed me in for because no one confirmed the time and the scheduler didn’t respond until after the appointment time saying “hope you made it”.The boot fitting hours need to be added to the website, and voicemail. They also need to clarify if the scheduler online is actually booked a month out or if it’s that they only release the schedule a week at a time. This was never confirmed in store or in our emails, everyone just says to check back in a week, is that because their are cancellations or how the schedule is released? Still don’t know.
Jennifer France: We went to Sun & Snow to purchase downhill skis, poles, & boots for our daughter. We were so lucky to get Justin to help us because he provided exceptional customer service. He was extremely knowledgable and experienced ~ most important to me was that he took his time to explain the pros and cons between the different brands/types of equipment so that we could make informed choices. He was very, very helpful.
Mig Lopez: We bought our very first snowboard at a trade event of used items. The staff was knowledgeable and very polite. During the first day at the slopes, an issue came up on one of the a binders but a direct repair was not possible as the binders were discontinued. The owner, Rob Parent, stepped in and after a long search and dilligent work he was able find a solution for my problem. I have never seen a business owner so helpful and motivated like Rob!I highly recommend Sun and Snow Sports!
Tiffany Hsiao: nice service! I bought a board, binding, and boots in just 160 in the board swap event!
Kathleen Schumacher Hall: Went to the ski swap event. The event was well organized and efficient.
Brent Helton: Great to have bike and ski repair right there!
Brian Lindsay: Excellent products and even better service! These guys know their stuff and are the perfect balance of not being too pushy, but ready to offer their opinions on various products when you have them. I met the owners and without going into too much detail, lets just say they went above and beyond accommodating a mistake that I made. Great company and I will never look elsewhere for ski equipment!
Dustin Curtiss: So I have to say, the owner of this establishment is by far the most down to earth and real business owner and person I have had the pleasure of doing business with. My initial experience wasn't the greatest Rob had personally reached out to me to hear what happened and went above and beyond what I have experienced in the business world. Being a business owner myself I fully understand what these times are doing to the community. Even with all these trials sun and snow continue to blow away others with their customer service and integrity. I went in today and bought new boots and bindings for my trip and I will say it was the best experience I have had in a shop. The gear I got is perfect and I could not be any happier thank you for everything i hope this winter goes smooth and is full of growth thank you for the opportunity to see what you guys stand for happier.
Laura: Knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff!!
BSKI: This shop has a great boot fitting department. If they can’t get your boots to fit- no one can.
Darrell B: Came to the shop to try on a pair of boots and purchase. I was informed that an appointment for custom boot fitting was required. Custom boot fitting appt is an additional expense on an already very expensive purchase.Custom boot fitting is fine if one has peculiar feet. My feet are extremely normal and, through 40+ years of skiing experience, they fit a wide range of boot manufacturers. I have no issues finding a good fit on a boot myself. I simply don't need the additional expense/time/modifications.I cant purchase a boot without without physically putting the boot on and making sure I find the right size, and with Sun and Snow, this requires an additional expense, whether you need their services or not. They offer no path that one can simply sit down, try on boots to find the best fit, and then purchase without an additional expense incurred. My money will go elsewhere now and in the future.
Steve Hines: I made the mistake for years of trying to save a few dollars by buying boots online. And then I was miserable on the slopes.Holly was amazing! She was patient and constantly looking for new ways to solve problems to get good fitting boots. Left with the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever had.Wouldn’t hesitate to return here!
giovanni talarico: Excellent customer service and experience. Highly recommend!
Jason Dinkelmann: Great people, good prices
Rebecca Sadler: Small sizes and large sizes in swimsuits. I was completely ignored when I was looking formy size.
Penny Douglas: Been in this store twice and both times terrible customer service. Will never go back. Young man answered phone 3 times while I stood at counter waiting for service.Talked with Rob (owner) and he apologized for the employee and was veryconcerned and said he wanted to send a gift card to me. Rob called me again and wanted to know if I would look at review and change rating. I told him I would review once I received gift card and got back in store to get another experience.I still have not received gift card that was promised.
R H: On point, professional, friendly workers. Visit the store for a A1 experience.

Sun & Snow Sports - Plymouth: what do users think?
Allison Callahan: Such a great friendly store!!! I had the pleasure of stopping into the Plymouth Sun & Snow to get my 4 kids and myself resized as we all outgrew our last year gear! (I did split up the visit so I didn’t overwhelm the workers, since sizing kids is probably tricky!) Grant helped 3 of my kids get fitted for both boots and skis and he did such an amazing job! He was so pleasant and helpful and very knowledgeable! He took his time and didn’t rush us in any way! Asked questions to help decide what would work best for each of their skill level. I would definitely come back to have him help us in the future! I myself get overwhelmed dealing with my kids! Lol… but he was super chill!Later that evening, I returned to have my teen and myself fitted. Martina helped us and also was really patient and helpful! She explained what our fit was supposed to feel like and took the time to listen to our concerns about how the boots felt.Thank you so much for not stressing this last minute trip planner to Breckinridge out! You have some great employees!
Denise Wheeler: Got my son's skis tuned up there. They found a blown out edge and, although there was no guarantee, they were able to repair it. Totally worth the extra. They were up front, honest, and one-time. Would definitely recommend this place for winter sports needs.
Gary Szpotek: Amazing customer service. We are telling everyone we know to shop here.My son had been wanting to get into snowboarding after years of skateboarding. Hoping to save a little money, we went out to the swap that Sun and Snow held in Plymouth. Well, we made some rookie mistakes with our purchase. Fast forward, we called the store to discuss some of our concerns. Rob was amazing from start to finish. He invited my son to come out to the store to explore some possible replacements.Let's just say, "Rob went above and beyond to put a smile on my son's face!" Rob was patient, understanding and generous. It was great to see my son smile. You just don't see customer service like this these days. So, please, where ever you are in Metro Detroit, check out Sun and Snow. You won't be disappointed.
Josiah Stiffler: EXTREMELY knowledgeable, professional, and high quality work. Only certified bootfitters in the state. Was worth driving 3 hours for
Kelly Wilson: I bought a dress at full price. When I went home I went on dresses website, I liked the feel of the dress, and seen my dress was half off. I called on their next business day and spoke with Grant, explained what I had found. He asked for website link and I had also had screen shot of my dress showing half off, he found my receipt and made the adjust very quickly and professionally I might add! Awesome store to do business with!
Franz Grunta: Came in on my way home with a lose back disc brake fastener (aka, no brake action on the back wheel). Prompt, quick, friendly (bike) service, was back on my way in 10 minutes, all fixed and fastened. No charge. Warmly recommended, bike professionals.
Guy Bardsley: I truly felt I had to write a review for Rob and his team at Sun & Snow. I bought a new pair of ski boots there a year or so ago and Rob & Grant have gone beyond themselves to ensure that they not only fit perfectly but are comfortable. I have been back a few times (After skiing with them and realizing another pressure point). Each time they have provided the best service possible. I would without hesitation recommend them to anyone looking for ski equipment, apparel or adjustments to existing equipment.
shamrocklax03: I lost a tiny and publicly unavailable screw on my ski. Rob and his brother, Alex, ski/snowboard techs, we’re able to track one down and get it to me within 2 days. I really appreciate their communication. I send all of my family and friends to Sun and Snow because of interactions like this and I receive great service every time. I read some of the other reviews and it seems that everyone who steps in the door gets the same level of service that I do. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
David Nidetz: Simply the best for skis and boots. They provide the best service and will ensure your boots fit perfectly and continue to fit over the lifecycle of boots. Would go anywhere else. Can’t recommend more!
Kyle Zimpleman: We had a mix up with my boots. Things happen when businesses are short staffed. However, Rob went way above and beyond to make it right. They upgraded my boots and skis without additional costs. I couldn't be more happier with how they handled a tough situation.
Alexander Pipadich: Experience was very delightful and the staff at the desk were kind, respectful and got us what we needed
Dani Marie: Great bootfitting by Grant! Always great service.
Christie Curtis: The customer service at the Plymouth store was amazing. The entire staff was so helpful. We had to get boots fitted and Rob was patient with us until we had the right fit. The store is a little bit out of our way but, it was so worth it. We will definitely be back next time we need something.
Tyler McCarthy: Excellent customer service
03sonicstang2003: Again Sun and Snow outdid themselves! Got all three of my girls set up for the holiday weekend and even hand carried the last set to my home; that’s what I call service! Thanks again Rob and your team for a job well done, you have a customer for life!!
Patrick Odonohue: Super great place. Staff is awesome. They were super busy and found time to help me get my boots stretched and board waxed with only one day notice. Will definitely be comin back
Peter Balanecki: Great experience at the swap and shop
Cassandra Monaghan: We love shopping at sun and snow!
Matthew Bush: Great staff and mangers. Have used them for years.
Caroline B: This shop is amazing! The customer service is top notch and everyone is so helpful. I am a competitive swimmer and every time I come here for swim gear, there is always someone to help and provide advice if needed. I will definitely keep coming back.
Jonathan Gohl: You may not be an Olympic athlete but you can be fitted for equipment as if you were one.If your feet have ever felt anything but warm, secure, and connected to your skis or board while on the hill you need to see Rob post haste with your boots which he can do amazing things with or to get new boots which is what this story is about."boot fitter" is a misunderstood title. If you have ever walked into a ski shop and had someone bring out boxes after a cursory measurement with a Brannock device and then the boot liners were heated up and put on your feet you did not see a boot fitter.I have skied for 30 seasons consisting of 60+ days many times. I have never not felt pain until my feet went numb. I usually skied for an hour or two and then had to have my boots off for 10 minutes or so before cramming them back in and ratcheting them down to get the right pressure for precise turns. Then came Rob, the boot fitter. I have an unreasonably strange foot. It is a collection of odd features that should not belong to the same boot. At the initial appointment Rob took all 90 minutes to discuss what I was feeling and looking for, inspected my old boots, took probably a dozen measurements in three dimensions of both of my feet. Tried on multiple liners and shells and determined the best boot for me which needed to be ordered. This cannot be overlooked, Rob ordered the right boot for me and did not try to push something from stock. The delivery and fitting is where the the exceptional talents and skills of Rob become evident. In short, the boots were completely disassembled expertly by Rob, each component tested on my feet. Blow torches, a drill, sharp things, screwdrivers, boiling water, a press, probably some ancient relics, and an attention to detail I have rarely observed (and I am an engineer!). I left the shop hours later with boots that felt right, had custom foot beds, heel wedges, better screws, an aftermarket power strap, a customized shell, customized liner and very low expectations after 30 years of painful feet.I include the picture above because I skied for 6 hours and never actually took the boots off. There were a few little pressure points but nothing near what I had felt before. The next day all but one of the points were gone and I had boots that were carving cord, zipper lining moguls, sending jumps, dancing around trees and I never had to tighten my boots to get extra leverage. My feet just felt comfortable, warm, secure, and connected to my skis. Rob had me bring them in for a followup and corrected the one small issue I was having.I cannot say this enough, if I can ski without foot pain - anyone can. I have heard from others that Rob and his team do an equally amazing job with snowboard boots, cross country boots, and even cycling shoes. As I almost forgot to mention, Sun and Snow is staffed with knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly kind people.

Boyne Country Sports: what do users think?
Natalie Fowler: Tons of selection and helpful staff!
Nina Trabskiy: Lots of skiing and snowboarding equipment! Highly recommend
Kexuan: I bought my ski and got my boots tuned here. Mounting binding and ski took about 1 hour. Boots fitting was professionally and prices are reasonable. Compare to Sun&Snow and REI, I prefer here overall.
Anthony Young: Mix bag for ski fiting services. They have a huge selection of product and a clearance center in the back by the Kids Club rentals.
Jeff Schulz: I have had nothing but an amazing experience with this store and their employees. I have been using this store for several years for the junior ski program and have received fantastic service. Coming in to get fit is something my kids look forward to every year. This year, I purchased boots at the store, Brandon did a phenomenal job getting my fit dialed in. Additionally, the team there has made sure to solve any equipment issues i have experienced and made sure i had the proper equipment for me and my skiing style. I highly recommend them!!
Stephen Williams: Best people, best products, best period.
Shawn Bakewell: If you are looking for a great local business to support in Novi, our family has always had a great experience here. Today we visited to get my son geared up for the season. Steve was so very helpful and took the time to find us the right gear while respecting our budget. Thanks Steve! We appreciate you.
David Lawless: Customer service is a joke. The assistance manager is a Rude . Spent over 4 thousands dollars . Ill Never go back
Rose Soriano: *** Long but VALID concern about this location ***Disappointing and Frustrating ServiceI waited more than an hour to get a ski boot fitting. They have a waitlist sheet to sign up on, which I was on, but was unfortunately forced to wait longer after a customer convinced an associate to jump the waitlist. Expressing that I was next on the waitlist was no use. After more than an hour I was finally called for a fit and the service was NOTHING like I had observed over the last hour. Bill, the associate, treated the boot fitting as if it were a tennis shoe fitting - put it on, how does it feel. A drastic difference from the 2 other young individuals receiving help - a step by step formal fitting. Shocked by the lack of professional treatment, it became clear that I was the only [young looking] individual in the store getting fit that DID NOT HAVE parents with them during the process. Mind you, I am not at the age where I need my parents with me to purchase ski boots, I also had on a $650 pair of boots - I am not a first time skiier, but I am a first time boot buyer - an intimidating process. Whether intended or not, it truly felt like since I was alone, Bill had nothing to prove since no one was looking over my shoulder watching him like the other 2 customers and their parties. Thus, no point in treating me like a ‘regular’ customer that would receive full service. I will not be purchasing from this location.
matthew peacock: They have a pretty good selection of soft goods, but i was there for the hard goods, which they also have a pretty good selection of. I was looking to try on a specific boot and was ready to purchase the boot. I called before I arrived to check stock and the gentleman who answered was extremely helpful and advised they had them in stock and there would be a wait because they were busy, he was right. I waited about 1/2 hour to try on the boots, no big deal, I appreciate that they give the customers trying on boots the time and attention they deserve. During this time I was able to observe 3 of the 4 salesmen work, I would say 2 of those 3 were trustworthy and knowledgeable. The third however, i believe his name was Ron, was nothing but a salesman. I saw him sell a likely beginner (based on conversation and terms, or lack thereof, used) skis that no beginner belongs on and worse, boots way above his likely ability. The guy was trying on 90 flex boots and the salesman ended up selling him 130 flex boots, you are either in the 90-110 flex market or you are a 120-130 flex market, theres no reason the same person should be fitted for boots in such a wide range. The 130 flex boots I came for, they had just been sold, so i tried on the 120 of the same model ended up needing a size smaller, those fit. The salesman tried selling me those boots, because thats what they had in stock not because it was the right boot. He then snapped "ok, take them off" when I told I didn't want that boot, i wanted the 130. I was ready to have him order them from another store, but after the snap i left and ordered them online from somewhere else. Your loss BCS. If you do go here, work with the younger sales/boots guys, they seem more knowledgeable and less slimy.
J Lee: Large selection of items at good prices. Staff is helpful although if busy it may take some time.
Towana Annette Harris: Excellent clothing and equipment
Jamie Boboltz: Exemplary service and very knowledgeable staff while getting grandsons fitted for skis and boots. Highly recommend this business if you need assistance in purchasing skis for children!
Cate Zatkoff: We go here for all of our ski equipment for our whole family. They always have many staff member working at a given time to help with the influx of people on the weekend which is appreciated. I’ve also purchased jackets and other winter gear from here and am always very pleased with the quality. Great service if you are in the market for a new set of skis or snowboard. They also have a good selection.
Molly Bonds: Fitting issues resulting in repeat visits for busy families isn’t okay. They need to work on educating their employees on proper ways to fit kids boots for skies.
Jason Bristow: My two kids both needed new skis for this season and our local shop went out of business. We picked Boyne CS based on location and the reviews and could not be happier with our decision. We thought both kids would need new boots but the professional at BCS told us that they had another year on them. That is the honesty that makes you want to come back again in the future. We walked out with two new sets of skis and will be back again very soon to buy new boots for my wife. I could not recommend them more to anyone in the market for ski equipment.
Andrew: A huge selection of outdoor and skiing outfitters
Mark Williams: Great ski gear selection. Ski program for kids is amazing - highly recommended!
Little Goose Organic Baby Food: Great helpful staff. Good deals.
1969bogdi: Their shelves are almost empty… I really don’t understand how they can keep so many employees without having much to sell… I am very disappointed in how this store is being managed…
Gerald Fortuna: Went there because I was told they know how to fit boots .. they don't

Play It Again Sports: what do users think?
Squeaks Briede: Weights weights and more!
Darius Duckworth: Good product, good prices, and great sales associates!
Tom Miller: The customer is getting the short end of the stick here..
Gabriel Bonilla: Good store, great staff, great selection. We stopped by earlier this week to purchase lacrosse gear, helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, and sticks. We really didn't know what we were doing. The sales associate was patient with us and our boys. He explained the shoulder pad EKG rule and took the time to fit both boys with complete set ups. Our boys are a little rambunctious, but he never showed frustration, just went about his business. I can't say enough about how this young man handled this customer service. He was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and really seemed to be enjoying helping us out. We also had some used baseball equipment to sell to the store. The sales associate behind the counter took our ID and “checked” us in and explained the buying process. She was able to work on the buy while we shopped for the lacrosse gear. When she was finished, we received a text letting us know the offer was complete. The young lady explained the offer in detail, letting us know what they would try to sell the product for and ultimately our offer in cash and store credit. Again, she was professional, kind, and patient when she explained the quote. We ended up accepting the store credit offer as it was a little higher than the cash offer. I think the store credit amount ended up savings us about 20% on our lacrosse purchase. Not too bad! I don’t’ usually leave reviews, but this experience was too good not to say something. The two sales associates were very good at their jobs and made the buying and selling experience easy and understandable. Overall, the store was clean, organized, and had a very friendly feel to it. I highly recommend giving them a visit. They have everything from baseball, lacrosse, skateboards, fitness, hockey, golf, and many other sporting goods. However, they do not carry any hiking or hunting gear. It also felt good to know our baseball gear was getting a second life! Every little bit helps! Thanks again for the help Play It Again Sports Ann Arbor!!
Patrick Burnham: Great store. Good selection and best prices I've found. Many play it again locations really overcharge for some products but everything was wildly inexpensive here. Well worth the trip.
Shawn Early: I stopped by Play It Again Sports because I needed to sell some of my golf clubs and my kids soccer stuff.Their buying process was painless and the person who was helping me explained why they priced the items how they did and what I would get for each thing. I didn't plan on buying anything but I was offered more for store credit which I guess is typical. I ended up buying more golf clubs because they were such a good deal and I found my boy his next pair of cleats. We didn't need cleats but it was a really nice pair in the next size he will need.Long story short my stop at Play It Again Sports was a pleasure. I will keep coming back and spread the word to everyone I know that if they need any sporting goods that they should check Play it again Sports first!
Baba Valdmanis: I have been going to this store since I was 10 years old and sent countless people here for deals. I went to this store on March 1 specifically for a Scotty Cameron putter that I had seen the day before. It was $180 labeled with a price tag and specifically listed the exact putter model, not a mislabel or mistake. When I was checking out, the owner checked the price online and saw it was worth more than he had priced it, so he literally took it off the table and put it in the back room. He said it’s not for sale anymore because he can make more off it than what he was selling it for. In other words, he didn’t do his research before pricing it, saw I was getting good deal, and he said it’s not for sale anymore. After telling him this was very unethical and rude, he said “It’s technically still my property”. Never returning to this store and wouldn’t recommend supporting a place that conducts business like this, especially when the owner himself behaves like this. Very disappointed to have spent a lot of money here over the years.(The reply below is untrue and the owner never stated once that it had already been sold. If he had mentioned that I would have understood but it was never said once. He simply said I’m not selling it and took it to the back. Then upon further questioning he said “it’s still my property”, which isn’t true if it had been sold already. But thank you so much for the discount on the $15 putter I got from the discount bin. Which was only applied because a good employee felt bad for me. I was never told about a discount either so I didn’t have a chance to “accept” it. Great customer service Miguel!
Tommy Tran: I wasn't expecting to walk out this place with a snowboard but one of the staff noticed I was frantically googling in the snowboard aisle and Darius helped me allay some of my fears.I got the kind of service I woulda expected in a dedicated ski shop and paid half the price. I'm ready to send my snowboarding friends here!
andrew pavlica: been here a few times but the other day i had a weird hockey emergency and had to get my skates sharpened super quick as perfect edge in brighton KVIH totally messed mine up. anyway he got me in and taken care of. I forgot his name, super nice dude, explained a couple things for me, and my ice skate edges are perfect now. great place and they only charge 6 bucks to sharpen!!awesome work dude ill be back!
Tim Sperendi: Love this place , they got everything and friendly service I give it a 10 out of 10
Cassie Converse: Good selection, friendly staff
Haoran Liu: Amazing place, my snowboard boots was one ride from falling apart, and they still willing to buy it for $80 dollar. Pray for the customer whos gonna ride on my snowboard boots.🤣
W. Bee: The staff is extremely helpful in finding what you need. Well organized, clean and the prices are great. The parking is pretty rough in the weekend though. I recommend going during the week.
John Tyrrell: Store has a good selection of sporting goods. Staff is helpful if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. Both new and used items, which is helpful when kids are trying sports for the 1st time and you don't want to drop a ton of cash on something you're not certain they'll stick with.
insureTC Michigan Insurance: Goalie gear was extremely picked over.
Shar Zi: Nice store. Found s volleyball.
Chuck Loftis: Great Service. Knowledgeable, prompt and personable. Will be back!
Anthony Prettenhofer: Store was busy and staff was not helpful and not willing to upsell. I bought 3 pairs of used ice skates and 1 pair that was new and we chatted about how the whole family is going to skate on a lake today. The staff did not mention that new ice skates need to be sharpened before use, which this store offers.
Rusty: Helpful staff and a great selection. I love visiting this shop, never know what cool stuff I'm going to find here. Hours of fun I've had were fueled by treasures I've brought home from play it again. They helped me fix my cross country ski binding on a busy afternoon and got me back on the trails the same day. Better clothing selection here than I would expect. If you need a winter jacket or pants at an affordable cost this might just be the spot for you.
Tom Leone: Good prices and friendly helpful staff. I've been buying cross country ski gear here for years (new sizes every couple of years as my kids grow up).
Mario Hazza: Really appreciate them taking the time to put on bindings last minute. 5 stars 10/10

Moosejaw: what do users think?
Laís Petri: I had all the help I need to buy a binoculars for research! Thank you!!
Adriana Ochoa: Loved it! Nice variety of products. We even found a toy for our dog! And the staff were amazingly friendly!
Dung Le: Knowledgeable staff. You can order anything to the location online and try in store!
Joseph Riera: slow, unaccomodating, unknowledgable
Karen Godwin: I usually love shopping here, but just now was surprised at the lack of support I received even though there were four employees at the front just hanging out. They all said hello to me. They all said goodbye to me. The one in the swing said she liked my glasses. But never did anyone come and help me as I tried to figure out how to choose a ski jacket at the back of the store. I love their inventory and I'm usually a pretty self-service kind of person. But with technical gear, it would have been nice to have proactive support. Especially during the holidays when the stores are packed tight with so many options. I left.
Judith Wismont: Mad midnight activity was fun. :)
Zachary Scherfner: Pretty cool place. Especially having Fjallraven gear. It’s hard to find a place that has a decent selection. I give 4 stars due to it may be a hiking score, but not in one that you would plan to actually be “camping”. They don’t have the supplies one would call the minimalist. It was actually pretty depressing with the brand that they have. If your out looking to get that “photo” that you camp, this is the store for it. If they were to add the gear one needs for a week long or extended hike, it would defiantly be 5 stars.
Silvana Graf: Very nice quality outdoor gear. A bit pricey but has an anniversary sale going on now.
Jack Dettman: Cool store and great customer service
Todd Shroats: They had a good selection.
Maria Pilar Rodriguez Formoso: THE WORST COMPANY OF ALL, DONT BUY HERE,they sold me a product and a service that they did not provide, a real scamterrible and the attention even worst,i would never buy again
Ben Cahoon: Great selection and a friendly staff
Elizabeth Ann: Really unique store with high quality outdoor gear and a cool fish named Ian. They don't have a huge selection in the store but there website does and they will have items shipped to the store for you. I do think their sticker would be much more hysterical if it said canoodling instead of French kissing though. Just sayin.
paul rhoades: Great place for outdoor gear!!
Ping Zhou: A weird, quirky store with a lot of character. A named pet fish, an indoor swing set, tons of pictures of dogs, an upside down mannequin, etc. Great of variety of outdoor products from Fjallraven to North Face. Although Moosejaw is no longer independent and is owned by Walmart (not sure about this specific store, though), it's still nice to have a homegrown (Michigan) brand.
Jim Lee: I’ve been extremely pleased with Moosejaw customer service as I’ve helped a friend get outfitted for MI winters. I fit “off the rack” but my friend struggles with women size small to large being appropriate depending on brand and style. MJ folks have been very helpful and patient with exchanges and returns.
Luis Orellana: Since moving from SoCal to Ann Arbor 5 years ago this location has always had what I needed, whether it is a rain jacket, hiking boots, climbing rope or even a new travel backpack on the fly. This location has always had it and the customer service is too notch. Happy Customer of 5 years now.
Janine Scott: I always make trip into Moosejaw when in the area. A favorite. Staff always friendly.
Danielle Fodor: Cool place great staff!
Mark Hanss: Staff are knowledgeable and helpful local outdoorspeople. Dog friendly, keep an eye out for special events and sales.
xavi fonoll: Excellent service for climbing

DICK'S Sporting Goods: what do users think?
Eddie Smith: Nice retail facility with a great selection of sports merchandise... regretfully though, the prices are set at a staggering premium and the quality of the products and service simply do not offer enough value to justify the high premium.
Steve Adams: I’m not sure what’s going on with this location but it’s almost like they’re getting rid of their fishing/camping gear all together. We’re well into spring and the fishing/camping season has started. I went to pick up some things a few weeks ago and the shelves were disheveled with every limited stock. Thinking I was just too early I came back again today and it’s even worse. The camping section is now like two half isles, the fishing section is down to just 4 isles with 1 pack/product on every peg to make it look fuller than it is. Most items are lacking any and all variety. Good luck finding something in a length/color that you want.I’d say your local grocery/super center has more stock and variety than this “sporting goods” store, which seems to only sell clothes at this point. There’s no way you could use this store as your primary source of hard baits.
Mike Stuff: Chris was very helpful during my store experience
Evan DeLosh: They never fail to live up to the name service-wise no matter which location I've been to, the website says they offer services like filling up CO2 tanks but if you make the drive over it's a whole different story.
Nicholas Colucci: Super friendly staff - Ryan was amazing & really helpful showing me the new system for trying on shoes. Jalen was also super helpful fetching all the shoes I wanted to try from the back!
Greg Garcia: This particular store was so friendly, helpful, and professional.
Karol Knapp: Found some great deals today on golf stuff.
Bruce Popejoy: Went in with my nieces as they were looking for sporting items...new cleats for soccer, sports clothing and items for the upcoming track season. The selection seemed pretty good, some prices were good and other items seemed more than other stores. We were helped in the show department, the young man was running between customers and was very helpful and efficient...only think others not working as hard could have stepped up and helped. Lots of clearance in the main aisles. We found most items quickly and were on our way to the next store in a timely manner.
Alexis Reyes: Great service
Parker Thomas: Good clean store with good service. Not the cheapest but the value you would expect.
Maxine Mercier: Friendly staff. Store very clean No clutter everywhere.
Ted Anderson: No adult sized World Cup gear. Dick’s “Sporting Goods” has no “Sporting Gear” for the biggest Sporting Event on earth.
simmo156: The lines are always so long with one person at a register and 9 other employees just walking around the store. Can’t stand going in here and don’t even bother anymore. Not sure if the employees are flat out lazy or they are not trained on the register.
Caleigh Dawson: Candace helped me out and she was great!! Super personable and easy to talk to and helped me find a great new pair of tennis shoes :)
Becky Geer: Found exactly what I was looking for.
Brainy Blonde: Amazing service from the store staff :) Jalen was so helpful finding the right size and the right shoes I'm so thankful!!!! You all are awesome!!!
Adam Drake: Always find what I need there for a fair price.
The Rachel Madcow Show: Sat ray Below is wrong, the manager was right that law was taken off the books and the decade ago. It used to be if they marked it they had to sell it to you for that. Wrong again Harpo
Jonathan Li: Called in ahead of time to see if the bike repair service was available, and was told yes. After arriving there with my bike about 1 hour later, I was told by the bike mechanic that he didn't feel like repairing bikes that day. Unbelievable.
Natalie Davidson: Salesperson answered my question about an ebike by looking it up on the internet. I could have done that myself.
Ann Guess: Found my niece shoes sizes with a discount "Let's Go"
