Cardamom Restaurant: what do users think?
Lynne Richards: Cardamom is one of our favorite restaurants. It is our favorite Indian food in southeast Michigan.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Tikka Masala, Karahi Goat Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Gopal Shrestha: Only received 9/10 momos. Goat biryani was okay - I hope they have more pieces of goat along with sliced lemons and onions.Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Momo …More
Nicole: My go-to Indian place in Ann Arbor!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Butter Chicken …More
Udit Anand: Cardamom is our go-to for Indian food in Ann Arbor. We have enjoyed takeout and dine in from Cardamom for a few years.Their Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta, and Dal Tarka are all excellent. The breads (Roti, Naan, and Garlic Bread) were quite good too. I really enjoyed the Gulab Jamun, which was exceptionally soft. The Rice Pudding was decent as well. The Nimbu Paani was average - felt a little watered down, low on sugar, and with a dominant flavor of cloves. The service was excellent and they were quick to accommodate our large party of 8 people. All in all, we have greatly enjoyed Cardamom over the years and would highly recommend it!
Charles Carlson: Delicious! Love the Korma, saag n tandoori chicken.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Siri Gudur: Firstly the taste of the food is worst. It is not properly cooked and its not fresh because of which my friend suffered with severe stomach problems. Second the waitress in the restaurant are unprofessional and rude. I would strongly recommend not to visit this restaurant.
Sabari Samudrala: Worst taste. Don’t understand how it got 4+ ratings and reviews.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5Recommended dishes Mango Lassi, Momo, Vegetable Pakora, Naan and Roti Basket …More
Farzaneh Ziaee: Excellent food and service.
Brian Shell: Superb curry, aromatic naan - Namaste, namaste, namaste
Amos Epelman (Asmosis): The food wasn't terrible, but for Indian food, I expected much more of a flavor punch. I use Tika Masala as my base for Indian restaurants because if you can knock that out of the park, then the rest of your menu should be fantastic.Unfortunately, the Tika was pretty mild in terms of flavor besides heat, and was pretty runny / liquidy. The chicken was very soft, but did not have much flavor on its own. I think I would be willing to give this place another try, but overall ended up pretty disappointed.
bettina murrell: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Khurram Rehman: This place is okay, but definitely overrated. The food is not authentic and is quite pricey for quantity and no taste. The employees were nice. I would not recommend this place if you want real Indian food or trying Indian food for the first time.Parking: Not many parking spots in area for the number of stores in shopping outlet and driving area is tight.
Zacharie Stephen: This place was fantastic. The wait wasn’t long. The staff was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The food was phenomenal. I got mild and it wasn’t hot enough, and I’m a light weight. Samosas were good and the fresh dips were delish especially the mint.Recommended dishes Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Makhni, Vegetable Samosa, Vegetable Pakora, Sauce …More
Rosee: The food was delicious and the staff was SOOO attentive to food allergies.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Maria Ponti: Best Indian food in the areaFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Vegetable Pakora …More
Deep Singh: Decent food Decent prices and service. Good location.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Tikka …More
Dev Yilmaz: Fantastic service & location & food - the Karahi goat was incredible!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Karahi Goat …More
Alyssa B.: The manager is very unprofessional.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Mithika Pawar: First of all I went there for dinner expecting authentic Indian food but there was just tomato in every dish, tastes same. I don’t recommend if you are looking for authentic because this restaurant is just American on Indian name.
Shafiqul Mahee: Momo was worth it but everything else was okay
Nikolai Belinski: Food was alright, service was mediocre. It was super busy last night but forgot our appetizer and asked if we still wanted it after we got our entrees. Also ran out of Chai. May give this place another shot in the future. The mango lassi was really good!Recommended dishes Mango Lassi …More

Qmin: what do users think?
Reaz Mohiuddin: Awesome Halal food. We ordered food for a picnic from this place. The food was ready in time and tasted very good.
T: The food used to be great but are they ever open? No one picks up the phone, and the store has no consistency. They don't update anything and just shut down in the middle of the day. It's very inconvenient when google hrs shows that they're open but you have to go to the location to find out they are closed. They don't even update their insta or website with latest updates.
Abbie Shallop: Really good. Would be better if they were consistently open. Off my go to lunch list because I’ve gone to find them closed too many times
Matthew Lukens: I work around the corner and am a regular here. Enough variety on the menu to keep me coming back, though I find myself returning to the Steak 65 (and one other but its name is escaping me at the moment)Recommended dishes Steak 65 Bowl …More
Nazifa Karima: Tasted their food at an event that catered from this restaurant. Food was good, specially the Bangladeshi style beef curry and Jilapi.Dietary restrictions: Halal
Lisa Cheung: Qmin is one of my favorite go-to places for a quick meal. I always get the small butter chicken for $10 to go because it's consistently delicious, fills me up every time, and a good value meal. They also have assoted drinks, like a freshly squeezed lime juice for those who dine in or are just waiting on line. Customer service is also excellent.
Megan Laine: Delicious! As someone with Celiac, I find it hard to find good, gluten free food. Qmin is right on the money every time- gluten or no gluten. It's great in warm weather, but that curry hits different when it's cold. The chicken is probably my favorite in Ann Arbor. The staff is always friendly and talkative, and honestly just so cool. Lovely spot for a meal, snack or whatever you need!
Trevor Scott: The butter chicken is EXCELLENT!
Sarah Maskour: Pretty good fusion Indian/Indonesian food. The steak 65 bowl was spicy and flavors, but the chicken satay bowl needed much more sauce, it was a little dry. The masala curly fries were also really good!
Aaliyah Haqqi: The wedding chicken tastes like the Indian dish korma, but with no spice/heat, there's alot of flavor thoThe steak 65 is great it's a spicer item, it comes with a mini salad, I feel like it would be better with naan instead of rice as steak 65 has no curry it's meat with masala sticking to itGreat service, for dine in the lid isn't needed, unless they want to take it home as a leftover, it'll cut down on the plastic consumption
IU Roederer: My new favorite Indian restaurant in town (and favorite go-to for takeout near campus, too)! I love the baingan bharta. Fresh-squeezed lemonade, too. Lots of vegan options.Vegetarian options: Many vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gf options
Haonan Li: Food 4 stars. Staff 5 stars.
Prashanth G: The food was not something I would go back for. That said, it's a spot to grab a quick bite and have no other option. There were very few chicken pieces in the chicken curry. The packing was really good and compostable, which is the only thing I liked about this place.Takeout: Yes …More
Ms. Naik: I really liked the butter chicken. Chicken Chili was so so but not bad by any means. But the butter chicken was top notch. Would love a bit more spice. Would hope to see more dishes crop up on their menu as time goes by. Also, they need to work on getting orders ready on time. I am hoping to try samosas and the fusion items next time.
Adil Khan: Unique flavors with fresh ingredients. Larger portion sizes.
Connie Bills: Counter order was easy and the guy was very helpful with suggestions. Samosas are on point! Peas and potato forward with awesome spices. We had the chili chicken which is their medium spicy chicken dish Indian and Asian influences. I would say there is a bunch of chicken in the large which we shared. The spice level is at the upper end of my comfort zone lol delicious the peppers Al-dente and the chicken with deep flavor profile. The little side salad is in a 1/2 cup container so not big but tasty just cukes, tomato and onion in a mild dressing. The mango smoothie was delicious too. Only drawback was they don’t have water for sale only bottles of tea or fruity beverages. Naan bread was freshly grilled (toasted?) right at the time of our order and was just what I expected delicious 😋
Kannappan Sampath: New addition the Ann Arbor (Indian) food scene!I ordered their Butter chicken (rating: 5/5), and their pineapple chicken curry (rating: 4/5). Loved the portion sizes, and the quality. The default spice levels were pleasant too! Highly recommend trying them out!The curries could have been more spicy but I'd forgotten to mention while ordering.
Andriy Massimilla: The Massaman Tikka here is tasty, and the rice is awesome as well. Pretty good prices for the portions.
Kay: Great experience! I got the Tikka Marsala (one of my favorite dishes) and they did a great job! Initially, I thought the portion was a bit small, but I think that’s just how the bowl looks because I came in hungry and left stuffed! Super cute space. I would definitely go again!
Deeya C: Yesterday, I ordered food online through Direct Order at around 8pm, because Google and Apple both showed Qmin as open. My order was processed and confirmed, and my credit card was charged. However, when I came to pick my food up, I saw that the restaurant was closed. It was around 8:15, and the hours on the door said that they closed at 9pm. It still said open on Google, and that my order could be picked up at 8:19. There was no indication or notice on the door that their hours had changed or that they had closed early. I’m confused as to why my order was accepted in the first place. I’ve since been refunded the money on my card, but it was a really disappointing experience.
Scott TenBrink: Good, standard Indian menu items. But be careful about online ordering. I ordered lunch, got a confirmation message, then went to pick up my order and the business was closed. That ruined my lunch hour. I received a text update 20 minutes after the pick-up time indicating my order was cancelled.I don't recommend ordering online from this restaurant.

Shalimar Restaurant: what do users think?
Nicole Pumarada: Food was delicious, even the naan, which is always the iffy thing at Indian restaurants, imo. The only thing I didn't like was that the muttar paneer was a little sweet. Lots of vegan and gluten free options.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Garlic Naan Bread …More
J Singh: Smelled great but got turned away at 8:50pm while the hours are listed at 9:45pm on Wednesday.
Mania Aghaei Meibodi: I would never eat here.
Aruntej Kothapalli: Food taste isn’t that good. Very limited options (not even Biryani) in buffet for the price point. Very Small place and ambience is fine. Service is good. Limited parking.
Makarand Gore: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Tavi Kipnis: Our server Ashu was great! Really loved the rice pudding and the buffet was tasty and had amazing value
PNUT: If I could give negative stars, I would… Great location.. literally the worst service on the planet. Buffet was less than subpar, with many items needing to be refilled and staff was less than enthusiastic in doing it… buffet during buffet hours needs to maintained… especially on Mother’s Day !! This was a terrible variety for even a regular mid weekday buffet… but the fact no one was inclined to refill items as they were emptying seems like a simple concept, yet is lost on the owners running this restaurant. If you don’t want to work, don’t run a restaurant… easy peasy right ? I don’t know if the owner was present today or not, but looking at the reviews after writing mine I noticed that the theme to all the unsatisfactory reviews was SERVICE. Staff rudely told us they were closed even though we were finished and waiting for a family member to use the restroom. Another family member needed to use the restroom and was rudely told no, she wasn’t allowed to use the restroom because they were closing in 10 minutes !!! Who says that ???? Who refuses a patron to use the bathroom ??? Since we had already paid our bill, we weren’t planning on staying longer than needed, but to be told like we were children is absolutely unacceptable. My BIL took the time to make them aware that rudeness wasn’t necessary, but the arrogance of staff was literally mind boggling. Honestly the food was as not even remotely palatable, so don’t understand the arrogance of the staff, as if we were somehow beneath them. Also what restaurant only has 3 mango lassi during a peak buffet time that too on Mother’s Day ? Save your time and money and visit Aroma Indian Cuisine… much better food, much better service. Shalimar doesn’t deserve your patronage…. Don’t be in the customer service industry if you don’t know what “service” entails. Before the owners of the establishment reply with some remark, my family and I come from a long line of service, not in the food industry, but service nonetheless, where caring and ensuring our clients happiness is of the utmost priority. I will happily give a 10 star review when I am treated with respect, and even when things don’t always work out as planned, it’s okay… because everyone is entitled to an off day !! When I would go to a restaurant with average food but excellent service, I will remember that and will go again, and again !! Unfortunately, Shalimar doesn’t realize this fact. In an age where people are having to close their doors due to the economy, people don’t need to spend hard earned money to be treated less than human. To the owners and staff of Shalimar… Please keep this in mind the next time someone next enters your restaurant. Treat them with the kindness and respect they deserve, because your customer is your livelihood.🙏Edit : 5/16/2023I’m adding an addendum to my review, answering to the owners reply… We paid for 8 people, no one in our party shared the buffet… also we never expected mango lassi to be included in the buffet. !! We asked for Mango lassi knowing it was not part of the buffet… your waiter came back and said there was only 3 mango lassi, so we said okay we’ll take the 3 mango lassi and ordered diet cokes for the other members of the party. Your waiter never said it was extra, but we never assumed it was… but I must ask, how do you explain the rudeness of the staff during our entire meal, when we only paid AFTER we ate ? Is it believable that an establishment would allow people to pay for only half the total amount ? You gave us a hand written bill and we paid at the front with a credit card… so if there was any error, it would have been brought up at that time. Thank you for your time 🙏
Frankie Fields: I've been eating here for 13 years and sadly I am not likely to return. I was sent home with the wrong food (carry out in addition to dining in) and was refused a refund. I travel 45 minutes to dine here and was not accommodated when i complained.
Tommy Engle: I was refused service because I was accompanied by my young children. On Mothers Day.
EJ Kiser: We ordered Butter chicken / chicken makhani , Chicken Lababdar and Lamb Korma and we received no rice with our order. Completely ridiculous. Our orders have always been accompanied by basmati rice in the past. Sorry. Not impressed.
Danielle Ward: Always amazingFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
