Town & Country Pools, Inc.: what do users think?
Roger The Tinker: Great place to get your pool supplies
Jose Vazquez: I called to find a local pool supply store for a customer of ours at our pool company in need of someone to treat their water. Chris picked up immediately and even gave me a referral to someone at another shop who may be able to help. Nothing better than companies that answer their phones and extend their help to others. give these guys a call for your local pool needs!
Jessi Harrison: Patient staff, gave great recommendations on who to help repair as well
Ella Lyles: Town and Country Pools always comes through for us even when supplies are hard to get anywhere else. Great staff and they all have a great attitude!
Frank smith: Well stocked shop who sells bulk chlorine
VersaFire Guitars: Small shopping area higher prices for chemicals but had decent selection
Arlene Hall: Do they actually sell pool supplies? They never have anything in stock.
Brian Martin: Got 60 five gallon jugs filled real quick.
Angie Hall: I drive almost 30 miles to get my pool supplies from Town and Country. The person complaining about masks needs to get a life, because that has nothing to do with the quality of their product, or services. Your chlorine works the best, I’ve never had to load it in/out of my car because your guys are right there loading it for me, and you’re the only company I know of that recycles chlorine jugs, which is serving a greater benefit than mask-wearing. Don’t let that one review ruin their reputation! Support your local, small businesses! They need us!
Rob Oto: Limited selection of accessories but good service and there is probably a sense of humor in there somewhere.
Carrie Lewand-Monroe: During Coronavirus pandemic none of the employees are wearing a mask and made me feel uncomfortable for doing so. They weren’t helpful in answering my questions either. A lot of short, one-syllable answers.
Ralph C: Good people
Andre “dredotcom” Thomas: Cool people
Eliot Scott: Buy pool sand here every year. Thanks!

Lifestyles Hot Tubs: what do users think?
Bruce Rogers: We just purchased a Hot Tub from Lifestyles Hot Tubs (LHT).After checking out several Hot Tub shops in the SE Michigan area wewere the most inpressed with LHT and their Hotsprings line of tubs.Seemed to be the best layout, materials, insulation and options around. Most importantly was their reputation. A friend has a 10 year oldHotSprings Sovereign tub that still looks brand new. We're closest to the Ann Abor store and found Rachel to be very helpfulwith our search. She was very knowledgeable and quick to respond when I calledback with more questions. We wanted to actually sit in 3 different models andshe found them all at the different LHT stores in SE Mich.Meeting with Brent in the Saginaw store was the frosting on the cake!He answered questions we hadn't thought of.We settled on an 2023 Aria from their HS Highlife Collection. It is great to find a family owned business (LHT) that provides suchgreat customer support. I'll update this review once the tub is here.
Matthew Spector: Excellent customer service and communication. I have had a great experience and looking forward to continue to work with Rachel and her team!
Michael Lewis: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They will sell you damaged goods. They will not give you correct chemicals. Their service department fails to provide service. Their managers will text you they will make it right then not do so. If this is how they would treat a disabled Veteran you can be sure they would do it to you.
Robert Woodruff: Cierra at Lifestyles Hot Tubs in Ann Arbor gives great customer service!
Faelin Landy: For the best help in town, go to Lifestyles of Ann Arbor and ask for Chris Strom. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his explanations. Chris walked me through the details of how to use each chemical needed to maintain my tub, and has offered to provide help over the phone if I get stuck. Because I rely on extremely hard well water, it has been very difficult to balance the water effectively. However, Chris talked me through the whole process and got me set up with everything I need to keep my hot tub in good shape.
Christine Kovanda: Lifestyles Hot Tubs is an excellent company. I recently purchased sauna there. Both Jamie and Chris are extremely professional and knowledgeable. They explained the features and benefits of the saunas and helped me choose the right one for what I needed. They spent a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Lifestyles Hot Tubs to anyone looking to purchase a hot tub or sauna. They definitely are a 5 star company with excellent customer service!
Emmanuel Ogbonna: Cool
Sheena Mae: BEWARE OF LIFESTYLES:I wish I could rate lifestyles with zero stars! Our experience has been more than awful with lifestyles. Our hot tub is only a couple of years old and the control panel stopped coming on but our hookup still showed power to our hot tub. After cancelling once to have them come out due to bad weather we rescheduled. They sent a man out on the wrong day and time and I just was getting out of the shower and only in my robe. Not only was he here on the complete wrong day and time, he was extremely rude and did not even touch my hot tub. We haven’t been able to reach them since and they are trying to charge us $100 for coming on the wrong day and time and doing absolutely nothing! I will be calling my attorney because we have no intention on being out $7000 for a newer hot tub! I am more than infuriated by their lack of customer service. We have a beautiful tub we took amazing care of and really enjoyed. Too bad they are horrible to deal with because this review could have went an entire different way. So upsetting especially watching friends with hot tubs much older receive such amazing service from their hot tub dealers. Definitely shop around if you are looking for a hot tub and avoid Lifestyles!!
Joshua Bonilla: Always friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help!
Stephen Sheler: So far my experience has been great! Very responsive and helpful with answering all my questions. Looking forward to the delivery!
JohnJ klauke: I tried calling ahead didn't get an answer left a voicemail didn't get a response drove up there and the young man working their had no clue of receiving a phone call which we had made just 10 minutes prior. My wife and I got the impression that he really didn't carry either.
Justin Gross: We purchased a Hot Springs Pulse hot tub from Lifestyles in Ann Arbor in August of 2019. The purchase process and the hot tub itself were great. The hot tub was delivered on time and we are very happy with the product. Since then, however, support from Lifestyles has been non-existent.Because of the hardness of our water, we had a very difficult time getting the water balanced and the salt system working properly. It took weeks of contacting Lifestyles, both the Ann Arbor location and corporate in Fenton, to get anyone to help. While they finally did provide assistance, subsequent requests for help have been ignored. In addition, within a week of delivery, the back panels on the hot tub began to detach from the frame. We contacted Lifestyles in September of 2019 to submit a warranty claim and have someone come out and fix the issue. We did not hear back from anyone until January 2020, after many attempts to contact via phone/email and in person, and over 5 months after we reported the issue. At that time, we were told the claim was submitted and would be handled in the spring, once the weather warmed up. Obviously, the pandemic hit and changed plans. We understand that completely, and gave the company time to adjust, reopen, and get back to normal business (or at least close to it). Staring in May we began reaching out for an update on our claim. We receive no response, nothing! We finally went into the Ann Arbor location and were told we were bumped back to the top of the list and would hear something within a week. That was over a month ago, and still haven't heard anything.Bottom line, if you want a good product and sales experience, Lifestyles and Hot Springs are great. If you want someone to stand by their product and provide customer service, go elsewhere!!!
paul nowicki: Great staffAuburn Consulting Copier Repair Service and sales
Judy T: my husband and I have emailed and left messages to try to get service on our hot tub....no response. If it turns out we need to replace our hot tub we won't be using this company.
David Pass: I am not someone who typically reviews businesses, however, my experience with Lifestyles Hot Tubs was so bad, I felt compelled to share my experience. I was led to this store based on previous reviews, but my experience did not come close.I purchased a Caldera Makena spa on July 20, 2020. At the time of the purchase, I was told my tub would be delivered in 10 to 12 weeks. My sales rep (Cody) told me they want to "underpromise and overdeliver." Upon purchasing the tub, I requested to get the sub panel sent to me as I had an electrician scheduled to do work at my house. They happily obliged and told me I should have it in a week. I followed up the following week and the request was never put in the system. The new rep indicated he would get it submitted and I would have it soon. Another week and nothing. Upon trying to call to follow up, nobody answered the phone after many repeated attempts over several days. I called another location and was told they had one coming in the following Monday and they would follow up. Again, nobody every contacted me. I decided to let it go and just have the electrician take care of it when the tub arrived. In mid-September, I decided to follow up regarding the status of my tub delivery. Again, nobody answers the phone. I tried calling multiple locations and still, nobody answers. I finally got through to my rep and he said he would contact the supplier. He never called me back. A few days later, I try to call again and no answer. I left a message and no return call. Feeling helpless, I again begin calling other locations to see if I can get someone to answer the phone. I reach someone at the Fenton location and they tell me they will have the rep call me. He calls and then tells me the tub is coming on "truck 16" and they are on "truck 4" currently. He said they get truck shipments about every 1 1/2 weeks. So, now 10 to 12 weeks just became 7 months. They offered me a similar tub (with no lounger) for the same price. I declined as I wanted a lounger and offered to even purchase a model from a higher line if they had something available sooner. My rep told me he would contact the owner and call me back. He never did!I try calling a couple days later and nobody answers. I call Ann Arbor, Fenton, Rochester Hills, and finally get someone to answer in Saginaw. I tell my story and she's apologetic and said she would find my paperwork and call me back. Guess what....no call back!At this point, I just want to cancel my order, but I can't get anyone to answer the phone to even do that. I had to drive to the Rochester Hills store, but the salesperson was unable to do it. He directed me to drive to another location to speak with Brent, who is apparently the manager. Brent cancelled the order without issue, but did not seem the slightest bit interested in my experience.I understand the demands in hot tubs and supplier delays during the pandemic has created strain in the industry, but the lack of customer service and what appears to be systemic mismanagement and blatant dishonesty is inexcusable. After cancelling my order, I went to The Hot Tub Store and had an AMAZING experience. Run away from Lifestyles Hot Tub Store!!! One star is a gift!
Martin Fernandes: I was very pleased with their speedy response and friendly approach. My questions were answered with clarity and patience. Was able to close the deal within 24 hours.
Steve Zeigler: Great place. Great customer support. Took hour on phone with me guiding, educating on new spas. Down payment completed. Highly recommend Lifestyles Hot Tubs.
Marcell Reno: This company has a serious communication issue, ordered hot tub almost 2 months ago they have not contacted me and will not answer the phone to tell me what’s going on.
Jason Giarmo: Go see Liam he is the real deal. We called asking about pool floats so we could take down the river over the 4th weekend. He said they don't have any for sale but he did have some promotion ones for free we could come get in his storage space. We arrived after and noticed the guy climbed a high ladder to get to some old dusty box to get us some floats be has there for 2 years. When we arrive he was here you go. Have a great weekend! I'm not in the market for a jacuzzi or pool but if I was. Liam has my business.
Mark Holtz: Staff was very accommodating for my family to come in for a private visit. Easy to work with and knowledgeable. During this unusual time good customer service was key to my decision to buy.
Tim Harvey: Excellent customer service...even during these unprecedented times..Christopher went out of his way to make sure I had all the information necessary to make my decision.Great prices as well!!!

Leisure Works, LLC: what do users think?
Jeffrey Root: Best place in town for your spa needs!
Margaret Gonzales: Arrived earlier than expected and was in and out in a flash.
Amy Jameson: Bought our spa a little over a year ago, still holding up well. Had first service call today and he was outstanding!

Chad Beckey: Great sales team and always helpful on what you need.
Eric Olsen: The service team did a troubleshooting exercise, remotely, and resolved my issue. We couldn't recommend a better team of professionals (thanks Jack)!
tim reilly: I bought Master spa Clarity and was disapointed with jet presure. Spa ended up with a leak and needed to be replaced. So I decided to upgrade to a Twilight series and could not be happier. So much pressure from jets it doesn't even compare to the Clarity. Was definitely more $ but well worth it. Leisure works was great to work with and had no problem replacing leaking spa.
Joe Ayres: Great place very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Justin Ryan: Great service and very professional.
Joe Grammatico: Had a little leak in a hose under the tub. They came out and fixed it, good job! Thank you!
Scott Nelson: Have had nothing but great interactions with everyone at Leisure Works. We bought our hot tub from them, had it installed, and now I am purchasing maintenance products through them as well. All have been great, from soup to nuts. Would recommend to anyone interested in a full service hot tub solution.
Brian F: My family and I love our twilight series Master Spa!!
Danielle St. Romain: We love our swim spa from Leisure Works! It provides so much fun in all seasons. It was the best pandemic purchase we made for our a family. I would highly recommend Leisure Works for all of your hot tub needs, especially the swim spa!
Helen Johnson: We got our wonderful tub at the Leisure Works on Jackson Rd. Ann Arbor one year ago. We loved it. The staff at the store was very knowledgeable and helpful to make recommendations from the types of the tub and other accessories. We really enjoy using the tub throughout the seasons including in the snowy winter months. The staff at this location was very friendly and helpful overall. We really appreciate it. Thank you.
Laurie Lashbrook: H2X Trainer 19D installed in Oct 22. Install team was fantastic! The swim side initially had a leak, which Leisure Works promptly repaired for us along with replacing some bad LEDs. Very happy with our purchase and service so far.
Rufo: I have always had a great experience with leisure works. They have great products and a knowledgeable service team who is very responsive, even when they are swamped with service calls.
Emily Kelley: We purchased a Master Spa 19D swim spa from Brian at Leisure Works. They've been great all along the way. Delivery was easy, they helped me balance my water composition to get started, one of our control panels didn't work upon startup so they ordered me a new one and their technician did an expert installation. Lastly, whenever I have questions about maintenance or I need supplies, I can call or walk into the store and they are so helpful. I highly recommend!
Tim Pettovello: Ernie provided great service replacing the heater circ pump. He spent extra time explaining the steps needed for the repair and helped identify & fix couple other minor items. Thanks again.
Catherine Flynn: My covid purchase in 2020 - a Therapool D swim spa. People have asked me lately if I'm still glad I bought it - and the answer is absolutely yes! We had some trouble identifying the source of a slow leak, but once that was resolved, it's been easy and predictable to care for the tub. All the folks at Leisure Works, especially Brian & Chris, have been nothing but helpful and responsive. We use it year round, and I am so glad we found what we were looking for at LW.
Victoria Wilczewski: 5+ stars! Chris was friendly, knowledgeable and super quick with my control panel replacement.
Chris Newton: Leisure works helped us pick a hot tub 3 years ago. Since then they have helped with service and any maintenance questions and issues we have had. They consistently deliver quality service. Thank you!

Viscount Pools, Spas & Billiards: what do users think?
Michael Pavan: Always friendly and helpful. If you are a new pool chemist, this crew will be a big help.
JacquiPete Trull: Great Pool Advice and a Good deal on a popl pump timer.
Baymont Belleville Front Desk: Always we buy the pool supplies from them.Crews are highly knowledgeable and friendly.
John Mac Donald: Poor customer service, Replaced pool liner. I bought liner took for ever to it done. They had their best crew do the job. Had wrinkles in it . Replaced edging panels on top of pool. They didn't have the correct edges due to age of pool . Ok sold me some edging, I believe it was edging they had laying around in the warehouse. Cost was around $550/$600. Edging paint scratched up. They didn't send any scew cover caps . No response on inquiry of no caps. Would not recommend this company. In process of replacing liner looking for a company with higher ratings.
Walter Manenty: Seems to have all the things that I need, when I need them. Friendly staff.
Melissa Keir: Outstanding customer service both in person and on the phone. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely worth the drive instead of going to the local pool place (who wasn't open on Sunday, either). Large showroom, tons of stock, water testing, too. Super friendly as well as professional. My new fave for all things pool!
Ann Arbor Hardwoods LLC: We started coming here this summer they've been super helpful with getting our water quality levels right. And have a great selection of pool and spa chemicals.
Darlene Capelle: They are very knowledgeable and had the pool part's we needed for our pool.
Cathy Dingman: Very nice organized showroom. Also friendly staff.
Noor Hamze: People inside are always so nice💚
robbin williams: Great prices and customer service
Jeff Koehler: Great people
Eddy Alan: What a nice experience?
Danielle R: The staff at this location was very knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right solution. We had several follow up questions after install which they were more then willing to spend the time to explain. We will definitely be repeat customers.
Sheila Larman: Very helpful & knowledgeable. Didn't try to up-sell us anything, they actually suggested a smaller size than what the kit comes with because our pool is small, which saved us money. On top of that they have both the cheapest pool filters around & do a full exact testing of your water not just strips or colored test drops - theirs is a whole computerized testing unit. They even have natural peroxide based pool cleaner kits (Baquacil) most only sell chlorine based cleaners (chlorine irritates & overly dries my skin). It's the prefect natural alternative for a clean & sparkling pool.
Jodi Flavell: I went in today with my mother about the pool she purchased at Viscount and they recommended the installer to her. The pool has failed inspection multiple times. As she was asking questions the manager replied to her was "it wasn't like they did it because they had nothing better to do". Rather than explaining to her how it could be fixed he was rude. He spoke down to us as if we were women who did not understand basic concepts. As a woman I would never do business with this location again.
L P: Very kind and nice people....
Dan Facine: I live here now! Great place👍
jim vinas jr: Very helpful and friendly!
Malik Saafir: They were awesome! I was going to buy a new pool pump, but the salesman told me that I might not need one. He showed me how to get it going after a season of it sitting and saved me $300-$400. I appreciate their honesty in that situation. He didn't take advantage of me. They were very friendly and cordial. All of my pool and spa concerns will only be going to them. Great business guys!
Jennifer Bush: Great place will go here for all my hot tubs

Detroit Pool & Spa: what do users think?
Alison Kindred: Brand new spa owner, went to see Clint in retail store for the first time and was very impressed with the service! He answered every question I had & gave great recommendation on products & maintenance. Definitely plan on visiting this store again!
Marisa C: FRAUD. THIEVES. Gave quote for renovating pool in spring of 2021. Mike said "you're the next job" for months. Came to house and slashed up liner to see how the structure looked underneath. Advised that job couldn't be done until following year. Asked if it needed to be covered up since winter months had been approaching. He said no, it would be fine. Gave deposit for work in 2021. Pool went through winter and is now a complete disaster. Mike dodged phone calls, had to call office and tried to meet up with owners of company. "They're not in" excuse after excuse.Thought there was a light at the end of the tunnel in September of 2022 (over a year since deposit was made). Dug out skimmer, and took notes for what needed to be done. Claimed liner would be triple what was quoted in my contract and coping for pool could not be found. I contacted another company and they said they were able to find it just fine.I contacted them asking for a refund only to be met with a deafening silence. They have done nothing but take my money, string me along, and destroy my pool. My pool is now in worse shape than it originally was, i have no cement around it anymore because the cement company is waiting for DpS to do their portion before they can refill.Do not work with them. They are a scam.
Alexander Orsette: DPS is a fraud They Claim to be a different company from their SERVICE department. BOTH ARE OWNED BY JOHN. They are the same company. I have three items that are still open from 2020 that needs to be completed from a complete pool restoration. I was assured by Dave they would be taken care of.Cement was poorly poured and has caused several areas to puddle - Dave has promised on several occasions to correct and complete the following items.1. Puddling on the cement by where you enter the pool, putting in a drain in that area.2. Skimmer concrete puddling, this was done last year and pictures sent.3. 4x4 electrical outlet was to be put in at the far end of the pool. This year both DPS retail and DPS service AGAIN both owned by JOHN has ghosted me this year no reply to Phone calls or emails.I would not recommend this company....
Dillon Davidson: don't do business with this company unless you like being stood up and ignored after they take your money
Art Draper: Very well stocked and reasonably priced.
Fady Mina: FRAUDULENT BUSINESS! THEY CHARGED ME FOR A SERVICE (PARTIAL POOL OPENING) THAT THEY NEVER DID, AND TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE FACT THAT I WAS NOT PRESENT WHEN THE JOB WAS SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLETED!I requested a pool partial opening & pool inspection with photos from this company for a rental property that I own in the Metropolitan Detroit area. I had several friendly conversations with Carolyn & Mike (service manager), and a pool partial opening was scheduled for 6/8/2022. I spoke with Mike on 6/9/2022, and he gave me a few notes about the job and said that he would have the report by 6/10/2022 at the latest. I paid the full amount for the service in good faith. After I paid the money, I have NOT been able to get hold of Mike for the life of me, despite numerous calls and voicemails. I spoke once with Carolyn on 6/14/2022. She was apologetic, and confirmed that I would get the report with the photos that day or at least a status of where things are. I got nothing.I had someone take a photo of the pool with its cover on after the supposed partial reopening, and to my surprise, it looked EXACTLY THE SAME as it did before reopening! These guys have done NOTHING and have defrauded me! You may see the "BEFORE" and "AFTER" pictures in this review! I emailed them on 6/16/2022 and asked them to refund me the money paid, and they just never responded!I'm currently in the process of both filing a complaint against this company with the state's Attorney General's Consumer Protection division & taking the matter to the local small claims court.
Colleen F: Staff always explains the chemical imbalance issues I may be having, and provides helpful information to keep my water clear either if the weather is extremely hot, or if we’re expecting an over abundance of rainfall.
Jamal Saad: Knowledgeable owner and great staff that will help you get the right answer to your pool needs. its amazing we can bring in an actual sample of water from our pool and they’ll test it, you never have to wonder. Very grateful this is my go to pool company.
Christopher Wolken: I recently had my valve replaced on my pool by Detroit Pool. I got home to inspect their work and was disappointed. They cut off a portion of the backflush pipe and the hose was still attached. I found it lying on the ground. They didn't even bother to re-attach the hose. Moreover, the seal between the new valve and the sand filter had an obvious leak. The tech insisted it was condensation. I'm an engineer and have a clear understanding of heat transfer and ac operation. There was never a leak there in the past. Now there is. When I spoke to the tech he seemed irritated and said it would be a month before he could come back to look at it. My pool is scheduled to be closed in a week. What will happen next year when the leak is worse? Guess I'll be paying for it. Detroit pool, please do the right thing and repair this before you loose a customer.
R L: I’m a new pool owner and went in a couple weeks ago for a part. The young lady running the register and answering calls was very pleasant and accommodating. One thing I did notice was the other guy in the store seemed overwhelmed and had a few people with questions for him. I fee like he was trying to help the customers but was also frustrated at the same time. Maybe he just isn’t a good people person, I don’t know. I felt like he should be managing and hire a few more workers to handle the customer contacts. I would still recommend this place. They are well stocked but just maybe a little understaffed at the moment.
Beth Chapman: We just had a service call and we are soooo happy we would like to give a shout out to you guys. Alfredo the service manager was fantastic! He braved the pouring rain, a giant barking dog and even some thunder. He fixed our pool so we can finally open it this year. Alfredo was polite and interested in showing us best practices. We will be repeat customers (but hopefully not too soon) and recommend your company anytime!
Julie Taleb: Terrible service. Both man and young lady were rude and unprofessional. For being first time pool buyers we just needed a little help and he made it like we were dummies. Never go there again.
Natalie Reeves: Went to get the water tested, Clint acted like I was MAJORLY inconveniencing him... also he wore no mask although I wore one and the sign suggested it... I’ll be heading back to Allstate where the people are ALWAYS polite and don’t act like it’s a big huge deal to do their job!
Scotti Bones: Always get great service here with some of the most reasonable prices around. They are competitive with internet sources but also provide friendly and sound advice too.
Mike OMeara: Clint and the team make sure my pool is crystal clear.
Angie McKee: Consistently friendly & helpful and they really go the extra mile. Just today my chlorinator was broken, they not only had exactly what I needed in stock, but then they also opened the product and put it all together so that it would be super easy for me to put back on at home.
Ray Morro: Knowledgeable, honest and friendly staff...!
Katie Sass: The staff in this store have been a great help in assisting us with our pool and all of its needs!
Jerred Short: Gordy and the staff are very helpful and polite! They really try to do right for the customer! Knowledgeable and fair prices!
Tom Sutphen: Gordy and the staff are very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. Their water testing technology guided me to getting everything in order this year and I was really out of whack to start! They are a full service repair shop as well and I just dropped off my Dolphin for service. I am happy to have a store close to my home that is easy to access and has excellent customer service. Thank you!
Molly Pastori: Always friendly and super helpful. Great advice and they are patient with my many questions! Would recommend for all your pool needs from initial build to ongoing maintenance!

POOL CHEM: what do users think?
Rudie Noble: We've used PoolChem for nearly 15 years to help us keep our equipment working well and the water sparkling clear. Their prices are reasonable, and advice & suggestions are made based on experence and right on point. Even on those days when there is a wait, it's worth it to benefit from that knowledge base. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Rayan Salam: Best pool store around. The owner is very knowledgable and always so helpful. The store carries any pool products you might need. Highly recommend.
Julia Frayer: If you have a pool, THIS is the pool store you want to do business with.Unlike some other pool stores that recommend PILES of expensive and unnecessary chemicals, Pool Chem will skillfully help you keep your pool humming along and clear with minimal chemical usage. They only ever go outside of the very basic chemical recommendations on VERY rare occasion (maybe once in five years?) and for us that one time was because our equipment was inadequate at first due to a manufacturer error in calculating our total number of gallons. Essentially, our filter was too small, we had problems to deal with because of it, and, once we installed an appropriate filter, we have never had to use anything but ph up, ph down, chlorine, and cyanuric acid. They’re always ready with the best helpful tips n tricks and spare parts when needed, too.Pool Chem has been good at this pool stuff for a very long time and it shows! The difference between them and other pool stores is that they’ll happily sell (fairly priced!) chlorine and some cheap ph adjuster to 75 very happy customers, where the ‘other guys’ try to rip off 15 customers to make the same amount of money. That’s why there’s often a line here. But they crank right through it :)
Sandi Brzezinski: Always helpful and knowledgeable about what your pool needs!!!! They never send you away with a ton of chemicals unnecessary for your pool!
Vicki Masura: I try to give this store all of my pool business since the owner and staff are so helpful and answer any question you might have. Wait time to have your water tested is long but worth it since you will have their undivided attention once it is your turn.
Philip Laurette: A great place with super helpful ownership and staff. Have been going here for my pool needs more than 20 years. Highly recommend!
Brian Victor: Pool Chem is the best pool supplies store around. I trust them implicitly and their opinions and solutions have NEVER let me down. I wouldn't consider working with anyone else. Pat has owned this business a long time and she has much to be proud of. I highly recommend using them.
Orcrez: Great staff! I get all my pool supplies from Pool Chem. They are a must if you own a pool.
Greg-Crystal Keller: Always great!
Tom Durak: Super knowledgeable and helpful
dave kay: We haven't went anywhere else for 20 years! They all have the best spirit and customers are treated so well! Family for sure!
Dan Spillard: Great people best place for pool help and products
Mohamad Farran: Detailed instructions on how to fix your pool water. Just give them a sample. Hate that u gotta sit outside in your car, but the ladies are great and they even help u load boxes of chlorine in your car.
Kirk Roberts: Great family pool store, staff is very friendly
Wayne Harris: While the younger employees seem friendly and helpful, all the older employees are pretty rude and seem to hate being there. I've tried to give this place so many chances at my business, but it's almost like they hate having it. I now drive much further to get anything I need for my pool because I dont feel like I'm bothering them when I go there.
Rabiya Lone: I dont know what all the hype is about, i was a customer for freakin 8 yrs, there was not one time i didn’t have an issue with them, one time Dustin reversed the water valve and water started filling under the liner, one time he didn’t clean the pool for opening, than other time he didn’t check the pool heater, there was been an issue, with them, adding baking soda to a normal ph water so it built algae than I had to go and buy extra chlorine! I have numerous complaints and I wish I had something good that came out of it, I always gave benefit of the doubt and they always took advantage! Its a shame they are not only rude but VERY UNRELIABLE. I am glad we walked away.
William Mida: Very knowledgeable, friendly. But best of all they do not try to sell chemicals you do not need.
Mike Johns: Friendly and knowledgeable people
Kenneth Kleszcz: Phone stays busy and off the hook 24/7 cant get ahold of this store at all via telephone.
Wally Scherer: very knowledgeable and friendly staff. great prices and the only store I trust to sell me only the products I need without trying to get me to buy unnecessary chemicals I don't need.
Kurt Johnson: Seem like nice folks

Leslie's: what do users think?
Kevin Futo: Super friendly and informative staff love the way they offer to test your water for free
Doug Fiedler: They do a phenomenal job
sarah lee: Knowledgeable, friendly staff, thanks for taking time to answer my questions!
Nancy Maitland: They need help. That poor cashier alone no help during pool season. She was wonderful very patient and helpful
Nina: Insulted by the employee and won't return. A masculine older women employee was behind the counter. With a deep sigh of annoyance asked "do you need help!!" as I'm wandering around the store, never acknowledged. I asked for the heaters. She goes "we don't have above ground haters!!" I never said that's what I was looking for so I replied, I didn't want above ground. "Oh well, their expensive!" As if I wasn't aware or couldn't afford it? 🤷 Her demeanor was nasty and so was her energy. No thanks. I'll pass on coming back. Pool Time is never nasty. I was well aware the cost was between $2500-$3500. If you don't wanna work in customer service. Don't.
Bobby Johnson: Very friendly and very helpful
Martina Stone: Knowledgeable staff, good service!
Jeff Koehler: Awesome place
K C: Nothing but empty promises. Poor order tracking, inaccurate website and oversees support that tells me to kindly wait 7 weeks when I have already been notified my order was shipped.Useless tracking information and order did not arrive when promised. Total poor experience and I will never shop here again
Cynthia Whisler: Very helpful staff! Ty Leslie's!
Steve Markus: Team is westland are on point always super helpful
Scott Oblinger: Willing to take all your questions
Cindy Gabbana: Called them several times a no one ever answers the phone. This was on a Saturday. Their recording indicated the store was open, so not sure why no one answer! Poor service.
Anthony Paglialungo: Good quality products and a friendly staff
Brian Mc: Disappointing
Eric Kiekens: Margarite (sp?) Really knows her stuff
M: Good prices, great service
Zach Perry: Staff is friendly and seems knowledgeable but we’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying to balance our pool and it has only gone from bad to worse following their instruction. Unfortunately, they seem to be the only people we can go to in our area. I will update this review if things improve but for now we are fuming.
Micheal Johnson: the employees were so polite and super helpful they took the time out to explain to me what I needed to do correctly instead of rushing me out and selling me things I don't need I will definitely keep that as my pool spot
Linnae Rankin: Great place & I found supplies there, that were out of stock at other stores!
R.A. Lowe: Super helpful friendly staff and pricing is pretty reasonable
